We went to actually go to Sally’s apizza but we had to wait and I was hungry. So we decided to stroll down the street and stumbled upon this place. All I have to say is I am glad Sally’s had a line because I would have never tried this place. The staff was so friendly, attentive and welcoming. The food was unbelievable. I do not have one bad thing or a critique to give. Next time I’m in new haven we will make this place our first and only stop. I didn’t take a pic of the pizza that we ordered but it’s definitely a new favorite of mine. Wood fired brick oven!

Amazing food, amazing service! The pizza is truly authentic Neapolitan style pizza. My husband is from Naples and he loved it, it made him feel right at home. We even came back twice in one week! The pizza came out quick, it was hot and fresh and the service was superb. Highly recommend! If you are looking for a dining experience similar to one you would have in Italy, this is the place to go!

Crust is soft, fresh, with a nice char. Toppings are excellent. Woodburning pizza oven. 900°. Pizza ready in minutes. Wonderful decor. Gracious, friendly staff. I liken it to Timber Pizza in Washington, DC. This will now be my first choice in New Haven, over Frank Pepe’s and Sally’s.

Fantastic Italian restaurant! Service was fast and friendly. We got the meatballs to start, they were cooked perfectly, the sauce that came with the meatballs was perfect! Both pizzas were excellent, thin crust and full of flavor. The basil must have been picked right off the bush. Great outside seating, perfect on a warm summer night! If you're in New Haven you might be tempted to go to the other guys, do yourself a favor and give Zeneli a try.

This family does pizza right. I love going to Zeneli's and trying different plates on their menu. Not one thing has disappointed, even the staff. They work diligently to make sure the line moves fast and efficiently and that we're satisfied with everything. I would recommend going on a Wednesday as it's not too busy. If you go on the weekend, prepare to wait. Just so you know, It's still worth the wait!

A group of 11 went for dinner. Service was quick and efficient. Seated promptly because we went early before the real dinner rush. We ordered a lot of food. Food was delicious. Love the thin crust pizza, yummy pasta, and tasty appetizers. Highly recommended!

Our family loved this place! Great pizza and bread. Everything came out fresh, hot, and so quick! The waiter was amazing! So happy we didn’t have to wait in a long line for great pizza! Definitely try the orange soda!

My husband was born and raised in Italy and this is the only restaurant with authentic Italian food. We come as much as we possibly can and the pasta, pizza and apps are always spectacular. The food, service and experience is always 100/10. Do yourself a favor and eat here!

Great Italian restaurant in famous Wooster square street in New Haven. Staffs are super courteous and helpful. Margherita pizza is a good option however the pizza crust is not usual. It’s very thin like a tortilla and it’s become soggy easily.

This Neopoletan style restaurant gets lost in the shuffle of the New Haven pizza craze, but trust me, it’s one of the must visit when in Wooster Square. Every pie made love with super light sauce, beyond fresh cheese, and the staff is oh so old country. This is by far the best Neopoletan in CT.

👀🤨🤔 food was amazing although there were no seafood options. Everything was fresh and delicious. Waitress was eeeeh , so-so. Limited seating inside, but plenty outdoor seating; a nice place to go on a mild day for outside eats. Solid 3 / 5 ⭐️’s overall.

Excellent service! We were seated quickly and all our dishes came out in a flash. The ricotta toast was amazing and I’m so glad other reviewers shared this tip! The mozzarella & prosciutto app was a hearty size. We also enjoyed a prosciutto pizza and finished every bite. We didn’t leave room for the Nutella pizza but that’s why we need to come back again.

The best pizza in CT. This place honestly deserves all the hype and more, the quality of ingredients and service cannot compare. The fresh mozzarella that’s is perfectly moist, with the prosciutto and olive oil. Great way to start the night followed by a beautiful pizza. If you have the chance to eat here DO IT!!!

Amazing place! The staff here is so kind and friendly and take enormous pride in what they do. This restaurant is beautifully decorated with indoor and outdoor seating. I'm usually not a fan of thin crust pizza but you can literally taste the freshness in each bite. I highly recommend the ricotta with drizzled honey. The cheese is made in house and its out of this world! I also never had cacio e pepe until tonight and it turns out that I'm a big fan. You have to try this place.

Came here on a whim after reading lots of reviews hoping to find some really good authentic pizza while I was in town... That being said, this place totally nailed it! The food was good, and I mean really good! It was a wood fired pizza oven which is always a plus, the dough, sauce and toppings were spot on and the atmosphere and staff had an authentic little Italy feel to it. I wouldn't hesitate to come back here again whenever I'm back in town and would recommend it to anyone looking for some quality ingredients and pizza!

Five stars all the way, the staff was amazing, the food was a amazing, just an awesome experience!! We have had pizza at every place on Wooster Street and in the surrounding area and Zeneli has the best in my opinion. The sauce has a little sweetness to it, all toppings are super fresh. Just amazing, make sure you check them out!!

I loved their pizzas. The staff were so lovely and kind. They also make a good cappuccino. Spotless place. Finding parking might be tricky at this location. Also, there is usually a wait in this place. They don't take reservations.

We went to the famous Wooster St. for Sally Apizza or Frank Pepe's but the wait was too long for both. In between was Zeneli's. There was no wait and the pie came out fast. This was one of the best pizzas I've ever had! The ingredients were fresh and high quality. The crust was perfect, and sauce was delicious. So happy to have found this place!!! We left there extremely satisfied while everyone else was still waiting!
