It's been 2 hours and 10 minutes since I placed my order (18:27) and it still hasn't arrived, and the order is only 2x dishes. I've phoned up 4 times, and keep being told it's on the way when it's not. I've just had another phonecall to say it's just left the restaurant. You shouldn't take orders if you can't facilite them in a reasonable timeframe. Over 2 hours is ridiculous, and mine's probably going to be 2.5 hours at this rate. Shocking.

I don’t usually review businesses but in this case I feel compelled because of the absolutely appalling experience I had last night. I went in with some friends yesterday evening, and before I ordered my meal I asked at the till which of the curries had shellfish/crustacean, as I have an allergy. The worker insisted, several times, that none of their curries contained shellfish/crustacean allergens. I ask him to check, mentioning the allergy, and he again insisted that there was absolutely no risk, so I ordered a Massaman curry. I was hesitant, as I’d already had an allergen issue with them about two years ago via delivery order. At first I thought perhaps they just changed their menu since then, but to be safe I went back to my table and searched Camile Thai’s allergen list on the website. Lo and behold, not only did the one I ordered list crustacean allergens, but most of the curries did as well. I went back up to the till, pointed out the list on CT’s website to which the worker said “I don’t think they do, but I’ll check.” At this point they finally went to the back to check, and they returned with the sauce container. They said “oh, it actually does, but it’s only like tiny little pieces so it’ll be fine.” That’s absolutely unacceptable, not their decision, and obviously not how allergens work. Then, figuring a vegan curry would be fine and not contain any shellfish/crustacean by nature of being vegan, I asked about the ingredients in them. The worker again said “oh yeah that’ll be fine” but when I asked him to check, he pulled out the vegan curry sauce and said “oh, no it actually does contain a slight amount.” So, not only does the Lisburn Camile Thai not take allergens seriously, it appears their vegan curries aren’t actually vegan. If you read the other reviews here (wish I’d done before going!) it definitely isn’t the first time they’ve showed a lack of concern in this area either. Shocking carelessness and apathy from the staff about customer health no less. Anyone looking to avoid a surprise allergy attack would do well to steer clear.

Lovely food, large portions (I mean it!!) and extremely friendly staff! Thank you for the great experience.

*amended* - The manager from Camille called me this morning to offer his sincere apologies on the service and food quality issues on a busy night, and also their app not working correctly. He gave me a full refund and store credit. Really appreciate the gesture. Thank you Order from Camille fairly regularly…. Waited almost two hours for my order to arrive, having called the shop several times only to keep being told- ‘it’s 5 minutes away’ The food did eventually show up 20mins after that call - I won’t be ordering the chicken satay skewers again - the meat was not just dry, but a browny pink colour inside - Not edible as far as I’m concerned. Unfortunately far from the usual standard I’ve come to expect.

If you're looking for a feel good nutritious meal packed with flavours this is a place to be. Just had my first lunch there and it won't be the last! Top marks for cleanliness, courteous staff, speed of service and OMG the food !!!

Very disappointing food. No issues with the staff or atmosphere but the dishes I had barely resembled Thai food. Much much better Thai options nearby. If you want to try Thai food go somewhere else.

This food made my partner sick! The duck was very tough and fatty, only half of this dish was eaten. The beef tasted burnt as though it was cooked in a dirty fryer. The cauliflower was very greasy and soggy. Overall very disappointed with the food. I always put leftovers in the fridge to eat the next day but half of this food went straight to the bin. Complete waste of money, and it wasn't cheap. Sadly, we'll not be back.

Feel good range- Thai Salmon with side of Asian greens and broccoli -I messed up with that side! The meal was delicious, well presented and reasonable value/ prices. As you can see, the portion size was decent. Recommend this meal and Camile; I don't recommend the same extra sides as the meal, nothing wrong with the sides bar too much, and I had to leave them. Enjoy!

We decided to try Camile for some Pad Thai. Lovely decor, friendly staff, kitchen seems clean. The take away is well packaged. However the food was not the best I have had especially for the price. There were no distinct flavours and it was a bit slimy. Not the worst by far, but I have heard good things about it so maybe I just got a bad one. Will update next time I try it to give a truer account.

Simply the best!! Tried the hot wings with the green curry dip and jasmine rice. Couldn’t believe how amazing the taste is and how consistent the quality of the food remains the same among the three other branches. Recommend you all to try it!!

Fantastic vegan options. Never disappointed. Eat lunches from here frequently. Always receive fantastic service.

it was great when i sat there and ate but unfortunately the delivery service is not of Camile quality. I have been very dissatisfied with my last two delivery orders. Khao Soi Gai in my last order were disappointed. It was very dry and not juicy at all I only ate a quarter of it.

Their £5.99 lunch deal is excellent value. I also find their take away good. It’s healthier than Chinese and I like that they use eco containers and not the plastic ones you get in traditional takeaways. They could improve the sit in experience, the decor needs a revamp. But for good value healthy food it is hard to beat. The staff are also excellent, very friendly.

I have been here already a few times for their lunch deals, and always been satisfied. It's sad to see some low-rating reviews for the delivery, the eating-in experience clearly deserves a higher rating than what appears here.

Tried this restaurant and to be surprised not a Thai person in sight. The Indian girl I think she might have been had some difficulty with English, the staff were talking in their own native language which I felt uncomfortable with considering this is Belfast, I felt like a stranger in my own area, I waited on the food for an unacceptable amount of time to be honest. Got home and I was very hungry only to be disappointed in the food, I don’t complain normally but this warranted a negative review. The food was awaful, it’s nothing like a Thai curry. More curry sauce than meat, I won’t be back again, that’s it. Terrible 😡

Don’t know what’s going on with Camille Thai at the minute. Used to be great. Currently 3 hours waiting and counting for a just eat order. Rung up the Lisburn road store they thought I received it already.. took them 5 minutes on the phone to work out where it was only to be told my order was transferred to the ballyhackmore branch for some strange reason when it’s basically the same distance away? Absolutely shocking sort your staff out.

Great food and quick prep. I am a big fan of the Khao Soi Gai and Spice Bag, and it's one of the few places to get a good Massaman curry.

I ordered to collect from here around 7pm on a Saturday and the food was ready on time and there was no queue - very efficient and friendly service! The food itself stayed warm even after a half hour journey. It was a delicious meal - I had the crispy chilli chicken with wild/brown rice. My only complaint is I would have expected a bit more chicken for the price as it was mostly veg. However it tasted very flavourful and clean. The Red Thai curry was also absolutely amazing, I can highly recommend it. Packaging was very nice and easy to open. All round good experience except they skimped a bit on chicken.

I’ve been using Camile on the Lisburn road for several years now and having visited Thailand, found that the food here is second to none in delivering the closest thing to an authentic Thai food experience available in Belfast. The lunchtime menu has been my go to, on more occasions than I’m prepared to admit 😇. The atmosphere makes for a serene oasis of calm within the bustle of Belfast’s busy shopping hub, that is Lisburn road and with a special lunchtime rate that suits most anyone’s pocket. If it’s an evening meal; then again, the friendly professional service supplied is second to none. I’ve only recently downloaded the app and there are further deals to be had on it also (try the Dan Dan Noodles, on app special if you like it hot!! 🥰). Give your belly a food hug today!! 🤗 This review only gives me the option of ticking ‘dine in’. But I’ve had takeaways and delivery from Camile and the service had always been of an equally high standard.

First time here and impressed. Very tasty and plenty of variety for meat eaters and vegans. Definitely will be back.

Hi I ordered this evening at around 6.50pm and recieved my order number through your app. I payed through Google pay and was told it would be delivered within 29 mins. I rang after an hour and was told that no such order existed. I was asked if I was sure it was the right shop and was informed you had other orders to get through and you would call me back. Not only did you not call back you refused to answer 2 more phone calls I made. I have a screen grab of my order confirmation which I had read out on the phone and offered to show. This bad review comes after several bad experiences recently in which orders that I made over the app, on deliveroo and in person have either been discarded (my ticket was thrown away because I apparently ordered too early for a later collection which is a service offered on the app but your staff is not familiar with) or it was over 2 hours delivery for an order with a 45 min wait time to my house. Even when I choose to collect my order and leave as late as possible to collect after receiving notification that its ready, its never ready and if you ever ask about your order you are usually told they're busy. I'm aware of how busy restaurants and take away employees are and how hard they work but I have honestly never encountered this number of problems ordering from anywhere else. I like your brand, I ordered once a week, the service here would have to greatly improve for me to ever order again.

Quite good, but not amazing, several points I wasn't happy with. With my main the tofu was overcooked to the point where it was like a rock to bite down on. So much sauce was served that it was overpowering. I have had nice meals here though and feel like this was an unusual occurrence.

Lovely spot for a quick lunch or date with that special person. Clean, well designed, great selection of thai foods including vegan. I enjoyed the vegan green curry served in an amazing coconut broth. 5 out of 5 service and atmosphere.
