We
were
here
with
a
party
of
over
twenty
to
celebrate
a
birthday,
and
stayed
in
the
‘Picasso’
cabin.
The
cabin
was
more
of
a
small
house,
with
two
bedrooms,
very
comfortable
beds,
a
small
but
well
equipped
kitchen,
complete
with
induction
hob,
a
fridge,
bathroom
and
a
sizeable
veranda
to
eat
on,
which
is
protected
from
the
elements
by
a
retractable
awning.
Boats
and
Standup
Paddle
Boards
were
available
to
use
freely
at
any
time,
and
the
lake
was
ideal
for
swimming
with
young
children,
with
a
large
shallow
area
that
was
perfect
for
getting
started
on
the
SUPs.
We
hired
the
large
main
hall
for
the
birthday
party
and
the
staff
laid
out
the
tables
for
us
beautifully
and
went
above
and
beyond
the
call
of
duty
in
helping
us
get
everything
set
up
for
the
festivities.
The
kitchen
in
the
large
area
was
big
and
well
equipped
and
allowed
us
to
fix
food
and
drinks
for
25
without
a
hitch.
We
also
used
the
hot
tub
and
sauna
on
our
first
night,
which
was
booked
as
an
extra,
and
it
was
wonderful.
Throughout
the
weekend,
we
all
commented
on
how
pleasantly
surprised
we
were
at
the
quality
of
everything
-
in
the
cabins,
on
the
beach,
in
the
communal
areas,
all
over.
The
staff
were
also
beyond
the
‘normal’
level
of
friendly
and
helpful.
It
genuinely
felt
as
though
we
were
staying
with
a
friendly
family,
and
at
no
point
did
anything
feel
transactional
or
corporate.
It’s
also
fantastic
that
we
were
able
to
reach
Sagaliden
using
public
transport
from
Stockholm
without
any
cars
or
taxis.
The
setting
was
also,
frankly,
just
breathtaking.
Incredibly
beautiful
views
and
surroundings
all
over,
and
just
a
hugely
relaxing
and
rejuvenating
atmosphere.
We
had
a
fantastic
time,
and
I
would
recommend
a
visit
to
anyone
who
prefers
a
place
like
this
to
a
more
corporate
environment.
