What if Culver’s tasted better? It would be Oscar’s. I tried a bacon cheese cheeseburger…life changing. The burger was far superior to the thin scraped patty from Culver’s. The chili cheese dog and corn dog were also great! The French fries were exactly what you want to have…shoestring cut with just enough salt. The custard was creamy and covered with sprinkles…a big hit with the kiddo! We ordered all this for $20. What a steal! Classic music played as we enjoyed our first of many experiences at a local classic!

Food was incredible! And it was a very low price! The staff here were so welcoming and kind! Food was reasonably priced! They also make great ice cream! I had an Oreo malt extra thick, and it was awesome! Food also came out in only a couple of minutes! If you are anywhere in the Milwaukee area, I highly recommend stopping by here and grabbing something!

We went there for lunch. It was good burgers. Those cups of pop is a large size! And their trays are different for sure.

Oscar's will always be a stop when I visit back in Wisconsin. You won't find any burgers like theirs, fries/cheese fries, cheese curds are delicious, and I love their grilled cheese the most out of any fast food restaurant. The banana splits are delicious as well! I miss this burger when I'm back home in Pennsylvania 🍔

Been to Oscar’s lots of time, for the custard. This time ordered other food. It would be an under statement to say we were both disappointed. The 1/2 Swiss Mushroom burger was tasteless, and the chicken on the salad was overcooked and dry. We will be back, but only for the ice cream 🙂 Ps - the cheese curds were good!

This was my first time trying Oscar’s and it was really good. The burger was delicious, the fries addicting, and the custard A1. I’ll definitely be coming back to try other items on the menu. I ate the fries too fast before I got a photo. Lol

The hot dog in the chili dog was disgusting, and clearly expired. I asked for a replacement and was told it was how the hot dog was supposed to look. This was my first time eating here and won’t be back. FYI keep in mind that this is how the cook says the hot dogs should look. Pictures don’t even do it justice.

First time trying the food, it was the best! Their presentation was the reason why I’m giving 5 stars, I didn’t taste the oil on my fish and chips, not like the other blu store 🙄

Tried them do to working close by. I rank them against their comp, Culver's. Their custard is the star. I had their burger, big Oscar. Tasted like a whopper. Overall solid. Skipped the burger. Culver's is better burger wise. Service was good. Update, 11/18/20: I would choose their custards and stay away from anything savory. I just think their sandwiches is just OK. Their customer service is inconsistent as some, like today, was short but hey, most here are like high school age so you get what you pay for.

Great flame broiled burgers with toppings you can customize. Fries great, too, with just the right amount of salt. Yummy creamy custard, too, with flavors of the day, bonus of 2 for Tuesdays! Nice atmosphere. I wish I had taken a picture of what looked like homemade scarves around the metal people figures on the upper walls. TV with sports on was a nice way to keep tabs on game scores.

If you want a great burger at a reasonable price, this is the place to go. For something different I tried the fish sandwich. It was good, but a bit dry. I would stick to the excellent burgers. Their custard is so creamy and delicious too. Check their board for the sandwich and sundae of the day.

I came cause I had a craving for some ice cream. I went through the drive thru. I got the flavor of the day, brownie blast, in a waffle cone. It was ok. I didn't expected this syrup in it, which I expected to be a Carmel, ended up tasting more like a pecan pie filling. I didn't like the mix. Preferred the ice cream without that filling. it was just a bit much. Also the waffle cone was a bit stale! You can taste that it was made a while ago. It wasn't fresh. There was no crunch to the cone. Service was ok. Guy was fine taking my order. He was upbeat and cheerful. The girl handed the cone to me, I asked for some extra napkins... she got bit of an attitude just for me asking got some more napkins. I did not appreciate the attitude nor the way she spoke to me with just requesting some extra napkins.

Great cheese curds!!! Reminded me of a smaller version of Milwaukee Burgers curds. Malt shop like experience, kinda like a Culver's. And if you have ever been to Kenosha and had the Spot or Big Star, you will love it! Same food style without all the grease. All around great experience in an old fashioned style restaurant.

Food is pretty good but a little soggy. Order speaker is almost impossible to hear but the order taker was very patient everytime we asked him to repeat what he said. The girl at the window was also very nice when she parked us and brought us our food.

Genuinely deserve more attention than they get. Friendly staff that know what they're doing and they do it right. Everything on the menu is reasonably priced and on top of that, great portion size. And honestly you can't go to Oscars without getting some custard to sweeten up your night.

Came to Oscar’s in Waukesha on Moreland Blvd for the first time with a larger group. The food was amazing and the service was even better. The gentlemen that took our order went above and beyond with his personality and service. He interacted with our kids and made them feel comfortable enough to say their own orders. Also had a great sense of humor and was upbeat. Sadly I didn’t catch his name. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great fast food and exceptional customer service! Job well done!

We love Oscar's! Food is fantastic, and service is great overall. We stop by often. Our only complaint is that a couple of times we have had items forgotten in our drive through orders. But that is minor. The quality of the food and service outweighs a couple of small mistakes during busy drive through times.

Went in shortly before closing the other night & ordered a Chocolate malt to go. On the ride home as I started to drink it I realized my malt was as thin & runny as SOUP! There was also a small clump of something(leftover from the "special of the day's" custard I'm assuming?)at the bottom of my cup! When I returned the next day & informed the "G. M." I was shocked, to say the least, at how rude he was & since I didn't hang on to the receipt; I mean really I thought, what could possibly go wrong with a malt right, he brushed me off & told me I was holding up the line! Guess "Customer Service" ISN'T a requirement for a G. M.?

Great food , but the 2 times I've been here , there is a creepy guy. Maybe employee? But just stares at everyone while they are eating. Kind of creepy

Never been to one before since I'm from Illinois. But the staff and food were excellent! Can't wait to try the custard and desserts.

I can't believe how cheap the prices are. This was one tasty burger... We had 7 people in our group and got our food in under 10 minutes. Very impressive

AMAZING frozen custard! We also got some fries & cheese curds - both were super fresh and the service was very speedy & polite. (We went through the drive-thru.)

When you have a frozen custard craving on a drive with your dog, this is one of the only frozen custard stops that has a drive-thru! I ordered a crispy chicken salad and 2 scoops of vanilla custard. The cashier offered a milk bone treat for my dog, which was very much appreciated. The salad was quite large. It came with w packets of dressing and a bag of small croutons. The chicken was hot, moist, and crispy. The vanilla custard seemed a little sweeter than other recipes but was still delicious. It also seemed a little pricey. Nevertheless, I left happy.

No frills, no fuss. Reliably good food and a very fair price. Given how expensive fast food is getting, you're better off here. I've been many times and will continue. My go to is 1/2 lb patty melt. Bread is still crispy when I get home (though I live pretty close). My wife likes the Cajun chicken sandwich. The kid usually does chicken strips, sloppy joe, or burger. I wish they had beef sandwiches but it's a good menu. "Sandwich of the month" keeps things interesting.

Used to be a great stop for food and custard. We have gone there for years. Now prices have gone up and they give you half the custard? Its happened the last few times we've gone there. Very disappointing! When I asked the girl why I was paying so much for a half of a sundae, she said that how we do it now? I asked 4 times and was blown off, so Oscars just lost a customer!

I cannot say enough about the staff at Oscars! My friend and I were just there for lunch. We were greeted with smiles & GREAT SERVICE! What a refreshing experience! Not used to that happening much anymore! From our happy greeting to the quality of service, food AND prices, I give OSCARS 10 ⭐'s Bang up job, everyone 💯% 😘😘

I did not have a very good experience here. I ordered a chicken sandwich and it was easily the most disgusting, dry sandwich I've ever eaten. I instead ordered a grilled cheese that came out completely burnt. It was completely black and inedible. However, there was a very nice person working the register who offered to remake it for me. She's the only thing keeping this from being a 1 star.

I like going there from one time to another, and it never disappoints me for what I get. The fish sandwich is fresh and tastier than in other places and the frozen custard is something you can't miss. Quite affordable and good quality for the price.

Great custard, great food, with well maintained locations in West Allis and Waukesha. My go to order is the crispy chicken sandwich add pickles, with fries and a coke. Pure bliss, without the guilt of going to 'just another fast food chain.'

All is well. My small coffe was great. The other folks with me had zero complaints regarding the fries and cheese curds. However, I was not impressed with the tile flooring. Uneven spacing. Elevation changes. Really stressed me out while I was drinking my coffee.

Oscar's has the BEST custard and the other menu items are fantastic too! They make there own waffle cones which are amazing! The employees are always very nice and friendly too! You can't go wrong with anything you order because it's all delicious!

Been coming to this location for 30 years. Consistency is what comes to mind. The food is always prepared correctly and tastes the same every time. Highly recommend the Peanut Butter Cup Specialty Sundae!!

Always a great place for custard or burgers! Never have been unsatisfied. Been visiting them for over 20 years and still drive 150 miles to get some to take home.

No words can describe that California Burger! The staff was great! My mom is hearing impaired and the folks were so patient with her. They were laughing with her and made her feel important. The staff , on 9/30/22 @ about 2pm - deserves a shout out. The service was exceptional and the burgers were just the topping on the cake. Thank you -L

This place is reliable and reasonable. Burgers are very decent and they manage to be as quick as fast food while being a bit better quality. I like the patty melt. I've had a shake that was good but haven't tried the custard. Pricing is very competitive and order accuracy is high. If you need a quick bite I would recommend.

Open the To Go order package of 12pc fish & chips. They placed half size of pieces under the normal size of fish fries. I understand that price went up so much these days but this is cheating. Size should be consistent.

There ice cream is great. There burgers are not good, I brought two burgers and cheese curds, burgers has no taste what so ever. Taste like fake meat. Curds were good the 6 that was in the bag. I will stick with the ice cream.
