Don't trust oral communication with owner. Had booked room for 2 days but when arrived owner says room booked for only 1 day. Again owner suggests us room will be available after 9 on 2nd day which eventually got after 10 pm. A big joke was owner's son asking if we are coming when we had already paid rs 1400 for room from 10 pm to 7.30 am and all our luggage was with him. Rooms are really good but someone needs to look into reception area. Again this was my personal experience while I visited from 16th to 18 Dec.

We visited first time based on reviews here, but after visiting it it confirmed all reviews are correct and well said. The rooms were super clean. We paid 1500 for 3 persons non ac. We were provided with complimentary 2lt water bottle and soaps. The hotel is just 5 mins away from ambabai temple gate. Though there's no hotel attached , one can get good pure veg hotel in surroundings since main market is surrounded to the hotel. Hotel location is calm but if we go a street or so further it was highly crowded especially during evening on weekends.. anyway we will surely visit this hotel again next time.

This place is very good for people who want temple to be near buy. Hotel location is near temple yet little away from market so that it's not in crowded market area n place is peaceful. We requested early check in, though it was not possible so that arranged a room for us to fresh n up. Their staff is amazing n very helpful. Good rooms, everything working and functional and clean n tidy.

Hotel and rooms are very good. It is walkable distance from Mahalaxmi temple. Room rates are also reasonable. We recommend this hotel.

A decent place for a short stay. We booked this hotel last minute and were having very low expectations. The hotel was good and what stood out was the responsiveness of the team. Satish from reception is very helpful. He answers all your queries of how to reach the temple, what time etc. Hotel is very close to the temple. As the location is in the market, you may face some difficulty in driving the car here. Car parking space is also very limited but the people at reception help you in parking the vehicle. as I reached here by night I did not face much problem with parking. One bedsheet and a pillow cover were a bit soiled... They have changed it immediately.

I Recently booked this hotel (Hotel DARSHAN GRAND) for 50 People. Which cost me 350 Per head which ,shampoo,water bottles. I requested for early check in before booking because we were reaching kolhapur at 7:30 am. I also conveyed them that our check out will be at 7:30pm because we had to catch our train at 8:50 pm. Few rooms were given to us early like 8 am the other at 8:30am as the guests were leaving we were getting the rooms accordingly. But then comes the main disappointment for which I left to share the reviews with you all. The bed sheets were not changed. No Rooms had water bottles. No Towels. No Soaps No Towels. If someone is prior booking with them they should have kept the laundry ready. The rooms were accommodated as per person and It was said that 6 person in family room , but while checking in they gave us classic room( which accommodates 5 person) and asked us to adjust. After seeing this management by them I asked the receptionist to call the person who spoke to me while I booked. The advance was given to them and rest was asked to pay while checking in. The receptionist asked to me wait let everyone checked in and then you can pay. But after this the mismanagement by the hotel staff I wanted to speak with the hotel manager. I got freshen up and was about to leave for temple darshan and suddenly this person Name Aashqin ajrekar yelled at me asking to not to step out of the hotel unless I pay them. I said him i will pay you online through Google Pay, He said No he will only accept cash. I said him that the cash is in room for which I will have to go upstairs. I requested him for online payment or else asked him to wait for cash payment. The person was so loud that the neighbourhood came out of their house to look what was going on.My family has been visiting Kolhapur from last 18 years every december month never faced such rude disrespected unsafe in-secured placed/behaviour from any person in kolhapur. Oh Yes this is not a family hotel/stay this was said by Mr Aashqin Ajrekar. Also this Hotel/Stay is not registered anywhere. If they asked you to pay GST kindly ask them for GST number. And this was the reason they asked me for cash payment and not online payment. “BE AWARE OF SUCH FRAUDULENT”

This was one very good stay! The hotel is very close to the temple, 5 mins by walk. The rooms very clean, staff is very warm and cooperative. They help you with food and tea/coffee as there is no in house restaurant here. Definitely a must if you are planning a one day stay and quick visit to temple.

Nice Budget friendly Hotel, Rooms are well maintained Clean and hygienic good for family Stay , At walking distance from Shri Mahalaxmi Ambabai Temple and Rankala lake,Bus Stand Railway station are just around 3 km. Situated almost at the core of the city.If you are traveling by bus You Can Get down at Rankala Bus Stop you will reach here within 5min. AC AND NON AC BOTH THE OPTIONS AVAILABLE Goo for it 🙂

Rooms are kept clean. Service is also good. No restaurant of their own. 4 wheel Parking is little difficult but the hotel staff manage it well. Overall nice experience.

Great location. Clean rooms. Especially recommended if you are looking for 6 pax or 4 pax rooms that are ideal to accomodate big families. Staff was very supportive. Mandir is just 2 mins away and even Rankala lake is very near and at a walkable distance.

Location is excellent in the center of the market...very courteous staff and clean and neat and tidy rooms..we stopped her on the way to Goa for a good night's sleep! The staff help us out with best places to eat and shopping !Best for families!

It was a very nice place to stay, there is a temple at a 2 minute distance from the hotel, the rooms were extremely clean and the staff was really helpful and polite. It was an amazing overall experience, also its a new hotel in the locality and a must visit place.

service is good but there was no wifi range coming in the room and also no toilet paper. Other than this everything was nice. Room was so comfortable washroom was also clean. •they should keep toilet paper in the washroom for hygiene.

Decent hotel for 1 night stay. Well located within 10 mins distance of Temple and Rankala Lake.... Accomodation charges are reasonable. Parking can become issue as it has only street parking facility

Great location of the hotel, 5 mins walk from Mahalakshmi Temple. Staff is extremely helpful. Call the hotel directly for booking, they give good guidance. Parking space is a constraint hence reduced 1 star. Total space for 5 SUVs thats it. But extremely reasonable and comfortable and convenient stay.

Very neat & cleaned with modern fittings & well designed rooms. Good service staff. Centrally located. Godess Shri. Ambabai (Laxmi Devi) temple & market is 300 Mtr away. Station is 10 min. away. For Non vegetable - Hotel Gandhar, near Shivaji Chowk, which gives very good testy food & good service

We stayed at hotel Darshan Executive for 2 nights in AC rooms. We reached early at 7:30 am and their check in time is 10 am. But they provided us a quad AC room to freshen up. We had booked 2 rooms for our family of 4 as our kids are grown ups. Rooms and washrooms were clean. AC and geysers were working nicely. Staff was very helping and polite. Location is fantastic. It's walkable from mahalaxmi temple and market. Overall, a very pleasant experience!!!! Would like to visit again.
