What a horrible service. Phoned and booked an appointment at 1pm. They told me the dr didn’t start until 4pm, so they’d be here 2-3 hours after that. At 9pm I was still waiting for any form of correspondence to let me know when the doctor may arrive. So I called and they said sorry for the inconvenience, we’ll call the dr and get an eta. Never called me back. 10:30pm and I’m still waiting for them to see my 13 month old who is now sound asleep!!! Do not waste your time.

They have always accommodated my needs and helped me out with my medications when my GP was on leave. Wait times depend on how busy they are but usually it will be under 2 hours. I am extremely lucky and grateful to have the same Doctor each time so he has become my backup doctor when my GP is unavailable. They also offer telehealth appointments if there are no Doctors available in your area.

If I could give a lower score I would. Called the Dial A Home Doctor at 5.30pm on monday 25th booked an appointment advised 2-3hr wait. At 7.50pm I called to find out how much longer, attendant advised she would call me back, at 8.40pm I called to get an ETA and was given no definite answer, I asked where is the dr now and how many people are in front of me, attendant advised a few. I cancelled the appointment as I was falling asleep waiting. Reading the reviews this at home dr needs to be looked at for its suitability to provide a service.

Please don't call this service at all. They will take your Medicare details and addresses and never show up. I called early morning to this centre as my kids are not well. They said doctor will come around 10am to 12pm but no one turned up. Got the call from someone around 1:30pm and checked our kids details again and said nothing about when the doctor will come. I was waiting with my sick kids and holding my phone for the doctor but no one showed up. I would have gone to emergency instead of wasting my time waiting for this never showed doctor. Do not trust this centre and service. I can't believe how can they do this to sick people. These people are absolutely spammers.

Absolutely terrible experience. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I was told it would be a 2 to 4 hour wait time. At the 3.5 hour mark I called the centre and was told they would call me back. I was never called back. At the four hour mark I called again and was told I would be called back. 10 minutes later the rudest doctor I had ever encountered called me back. He told me it would be another 30 minutes (no apology, explanation etc). I explained that my 2 year old twins were exhausted and needed to go to bed so I would have to cancel. He then screamed "Fine" at means hung up. Worst service and experience with a home doctor service of my life.

Called this morning for my 2 year old daughter. The Doctor was at my door within 40 minutes. The Dr was fantastic with my daughter, she is usually terrified of doctors but he was so nice interacting with her and showing her his interesting doctors gadgets while getting her checked out after being unwell. He was fabulous and put my mind at ease after a stressful night with an unwell toddler. Thank you for the prompt and great service.

Have used this service twice now on the Gold Coast. Excellent service on both occasions. Appointments are bulk billed to Medicare. Attendance outside of business hours, including weekends.

We had a great service from the team and doctor who came and saw our children. I got quoted 2-3 hours, and then they arrived within the hour. Boom! It was a nice surprise. When the doc came in, he offered and removed his shoes. - thank you 🙏 He had warm bed side manner and the kids thought he was great. Thanks guys!!

Is this even a real service? Starting to think it’s a scam after waiting now 6.5 hours when I was told the wait time was around 2 hours. I’ve called 3 times for an update and been told each time they’ll call straight back, but no one has. Their explanation? “The doctor’s not answering his texts so we didn’t have an update to give you.” Wow. Breathtaking incompetence and lack of organisation.

Called to see if I could be fit in and was told that it would be around 6pm at the latest. 6:30 rolls around and no updates, I call back and ask if they’re still coming and I’m told that they’ll get back to me. They did not. It’s now 2hrs passed when I was told I would be seen with no communication whatsoever. Do not use this service.
