Burleigh Hill

Picnic ground

👍👍 Best View on the Gold Coast. Perfect for a walk around the Point, great coffee shops, pubs, bars within walking distance. I am sure it's one of the most photographed places on the coast. Nothing better then grabbing a coffee from Nook Coffee Shop (Best coffee on the Gold Coast) and walking up to... People often mention Great,

Best View on the Gold Coast. Perfect for a walk around the Point, great coffee shops, pubs, bars within walking distance. I am sure it's one of the most photographed places on the coast. Nothing better then grabbing a coffee from Nook Coffee Shop (Best coffee on the Gold Coast) and walking up to the top of the hill and joining the rest of the locals enjoying the view. Perfect way to the start the day.

Beautiful lookout, plenty of space for picnics and hangouts. Great for all ages and parking available. Great place for walks, swims and food both during the day and night.

Whether you are a local or traveller Burleigh Hill is the best place to spend a lazy afternoon on a pinic blanket grazing on cheese, crackers , dips sipping a beverage and watching the waves roll in. Very therapeutic to the mind body and soul❤

Beautiful spot to visit and just stroll the beachside foot path adjacent to beautiful parkland of manicured gardens, majestic Norfolk Pines, hydrating facilities, coffee outlets, and lunch bars. Stroll through to Burleigh shops or the National Park & Tallebudgera Creek, Burleigh forshore to Miami, where you can drop in for a swim. Spectacular scenery and place to soak up the good times in this surfing Mecca. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I absolutely love this place. If you go to the very end, you will get to a place where water is crystal clear with beautiful scenery

It's just so goddam windy man. Other than that, the location is lovely. Great for picnics or to sit and enjoy a nice view. It gets pretty busy around sunset. There are a lot of food places around Burleigh Hill, so you can easily purchase something yummy to take out.

One of the gems of the gold coast, parking is a issue. But worth it ,Early bird always wins, Watch for the tourist that want to drive in to you. And can be fined if parked too long.

Azure waters, walking trail to the view point, plenty of picnic place, gentle ocean breeze and majestic ocean colors. I can't explain how beautiful this place was. Bonus treat: got to see a humpback whale 🐋. Worth a weekend afternoon.

It's always a nice area to take the dog for a walk. Though it can can stupid busy if you go at good times early or late then you are clear mostly of big crowds and get get a park.

Hard to knock this as one of the best relaxing afternoon spots on the Gold Coast. Fantastic views and beautiful sea breezes. Parking is a bit of a nightmare so we usually park at the bowls club and walk over.

😐 🚨 IMPORTANT: Picnic area no longer exists 🚨 Stunning area with a beautiful place to swim, however the name is very misleading as there are no more picnic tables, BBQs, toilets etc. Arrived and were very confused and thinking we were missing something obvious! Shouldn't be called "picnic area" any...
