We had a great time here and really enjoyed ourselves, but I absentmindedly left something in the room when I left, and then when I called back to ask them to hold it, nobody knew anything about it. I called a few times to speak to a few different people, but I cannot get it back. It was just a hoodie but it was dear to me and I’m really disappointed that I left it there in the first place, but I know for sure that I put it on the chair at the table but now, somebody else has it.

Love my time there. The two bedroom apartment is extremely clean and it provides everything I need. The bed is a bit on soft side and the door does not lock by itself. The facility is awesome- lawn bowling, put out golf, tennis, indoor & outdoor poor and crossing the road to the beach. The game room and adult lounge are fantastic. We spent our last day at the resort enjoying the facilities. So good. Nespresso at adult lounge and roof top bbq/ herbal garden is just awesome.

I didn't hate the place, would I go back... maybe. The staff I encountered were very friendly, there did not appear to be a lot of staff on roster but the few staff that I interacted with were keeping busy and all smiles. The facilities were good for the family. Great kids activity room, mini golf, indoor heated pool, gym, dry sauna, steam room and outdoor pool (all the facilities are tired but functional). The location is flaming fantastic. Cross the road and you have arrived at a beach. They need to increase their standards as far as communication and room quality/consistancy. The room we stayed in was falling apart. The toilet roll holder was falling off the wall, the bathroom vanity was falling apart, there were signs of some DIY work being performed but not completed eg not painted wall behind a toilet that had been replaced in the ensuite. Our friends room was better, at least the bathroom looked like it had been updated at some point in the last 20 years. I sent an email voicing my concerns over the room asking if I could pay more to change rooms. We had no response and still have not had any reply weeks later. When calling to book we were diverted elsewhere and directed to book online. We booked through a third party company so less profit for this accommodation provider on this occasion. Pricing was maybe slightly high for the room quality but the number of facilities sort of made up some positives. Overall, it was a good weekend spent away from the business with the kids in a heated pool. I came home more relaxed than I was heading into my weekend, so it wasn't unworkable. Had I been in a room that wasn't in desperate need of renovating I would have rated this place much higher. If I were lucky enough to have been in the room our friends had, I might have rated 4 stars and the rooms likewise. Consistency was the problem.

Not sure why people are rating this place one star - lots of “whinging Karen’s” We have travelled extensively throughout Qld with our timeshare and would have to say this place is absolutely outstanding - the best we have stayed in . We just checked out yesterday and very sad to leave but will be back. Staff are all superb, know their jobs and keep the hotel immaculate, nothing is too much trouble. Beds are great, big units again with wonderful views and all decked out down to the toiletries, extra pillows etc. Amenities are top notch with steam rooms, gym, wonderful kids room, indoor outdoor pools, free coffee, many many areas to sit and bbq and take in the views, and the list goes on. Wonderful location easy walk to Aldi-Coles with flagged beach straight across the road. No idea why there are the whingers on here - don’t listen people it is FANTASTIC!!!

Terrible place! Management and staff incredibly rude, no commonsense at all - the Karen of Karen's. Work trip accommodation cancelled. Overheard also being rude to numerous other guests. Fortunate we got cancelled as my colleagues and I ended up at a beautiful place up the road. Avoid this one.

Rooms could do with some maintenance as master room door to balcony had mould growing in it and door would not close property that we froze of a night. It took 3 times of asking before someone liked at it and sealed it with tape , stating they would be back the next day to clean it and seal it properly. Never happen. Also ran out of toilet paper and asked for more . We ended having to buy toilet .

Awesome location opposite beach n park. Great strip for walks/runs with exercise stations. Resort has great facilities for all ages, pools & gardens are continually being kept clean n tidy by polite n helpful staff. Rooms are well laid out with kitchen, lounge, dining & laundry facilities, everything one needs for pleasant stay. Shops (Woolies/BWS) and eateries conveniently within walking distance. Look forward to returning.

Room is aging badly, spa doesn't work, both toilets barely flush, main bed needs to be replaced, cracks everywhere, ran out of hot water constantly and parking is a tight squeeze (high chance you will get door dings on your car). Good location, room was clean, good amenities.

Great unit with amazing ocean views. Spacious and clean. Easy parking and many facilities. Would have been great except only the bedroom had air conditioning. The lounge kitchen are had big windows, great for the view, but also great for letting the sunlight and heat in. At 7am the room was too hot to stand in. Ceiling fan did nothing. Choices were blinds down and sit in dark cooler ( but not cool ) room or cook! Will return but never in summer

Did not get an actual photo of the hotel. The unit was a good size, stayed in a two bedroom with kitchen & main bedroom with ensuite. Nice cafe down the road and if you're lucky you might stay when the markets are on. Jump in the car and the place is not far. The hotel is in a good location and not busy like surfers, so if you don't like the hustle and bustle, give this place a go. Gym for 18+ Pool & spa Indoor pool & spa Sauna Putt golf Games room

Everything was great except when i asked for a balcony room over looking the ocean onthe day of check out they said they didn't have any on a Monday which was out of school holidays ...not happy as i paid for a 2 bedroom apartment for just the 2 of us so we could see the ocean ....apart from that all good

Have stayed here on a number of occasions. Rooms are great - have stayed in one and two bedroom apartments. Staff at reception are friendly and happy to accommodate any requests. Location is the best.

We had an overnight stay at the resort which exceeded our expectations! Our children are aged 8, 11 and 14 and they thoroughly enjoyed the games room, we all picked a DVD each to watch plus the pool and spa areas are excellent

We got a large condo with a balcony overlooking the ocean. It was fabulous. It needed a paint job, but otherwise very nice. Loved all the areas for barbecuing and hanging out. Pool was beautiful but freezing.

Great amenities and friendly staff. Well equiped accommodation .So close to supermarkets, Surf Club, public transport and just over the road from the beach. Great place to stay.

Only stayed one night but it was a great stay. My 13 and 15 year old loved staying there. The Staff were real welcoming. The rooms were clean and maintained. The pool, games room and mini Putt Putt was a big hit. Thank you for a great night.

Great location south of Surfers Paradise. As with most older hotels, some rooms are in need of an update. Nice pool area and kids games room. Well laid out. Right on the beach. Peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.

The resort is comfortable and convenient to all locations. Pools and spa are kept clean and staff often around to do the extra cleaning. Rooms can be further improved .. Staff are wonderful especially Donna at reception is lovely and kind, providing the guest with lots of helpful information. We had a wonderful week stay experience and often back every year. Nicole who is a front desk employee of Mariner Shores today directed my husband to direct me to remove my Reviews on Mariner Shores PUBLIC REVIEWS TAB. I completed an Accident Report after I tripped on a 5cm lip on a newly designed bathroom entrance walkway. A totally ridiculous design which is dangerous. No offer by Mariner Shores to pay for physiotherapy or pain relief gels or tablets. Just SILENCE. Should have litigated Mariner Shores but to keep peace as my husband has been a Member since the 80s, I did not see a solicitor about my injuries. Also - On arrival one of the twin beds in second bedroom had sheets and linen dropping down to floor and weren't tucked in. Apparently you can't leave a negative review with this place, as Nicole, receptionist, directs people to remove their negative experience.

Have been coming here with my family for about 10 years. It’s something we always look forward to every year. This year was so bad that we are considering not coming again. Had the worst view of literal trees on the bottom floor facing cars in the check in area, which meant for constant car engines in and out all day. No extra security for the ground floors. Room had no wifi, broken fridge, only 4 dining chairs for a 6 person unit. Beds in second room were super uncomfortable and power points could only be accessed if you pull the bedside table out. Staff were always friendly when walking past but nothing really got done about the amenities issues. Such a shame that we’ve gotten the ground floor 2 years in a row. Super loud that every movement in the resort feels like it’s in your room.

Fabulous resort with amazing facilities. Apartment really comfortable with everything you need. Maureen and all staff members are really helpful and friendly.

Great place for a holiday. Good outdoor pool, indoor pool, sauna and spa among other excellent features. Just across from the beach and good coffee and surf club too. Well appointed units, kitchen and bedrooms. Games room and adult area. Tennis court, putt putt golf, and other games. Friendly staff.

Relaxed atmosphere excellent facilities. What about the location on The Esplanade 50m from the water and North Burleigh Surf Club and 200m from Maimi Tavern across the highway from Coles and Aldi plus heaps coffee and other foody outlets.

Really nice rooms, we had a great view of the beach on the 7th floor, awesome amenities with putt putt, pool, spa, kids room and tennis, but pity we only stayed one night so didn't get to enjoy them. Would have preferred to be able to check in a bit earlier than 4pm, but otherwise nice place to stay, especially for families

Booked a 3 bedroom wheelchair accessible room. It had everything we needed. And it came with a Mobile hoist, electric adjustable bed, shower commode chair, and toilet chair. The rooms were spacious and clean.

We stayed in Oct 2022. Fantastic stay! Adults and kids loved the resort! So much to do at the resort if you need a day to relax in between attending theme parks ;) Clean and tidy rooms. We love the 3 TV's in a 2 bedroom apartment! Great bathrooms. Well stocked kitchen. Great location. Can't fault it.

A nice holiday home away from home. The gardens and leisure areas are well maintained. Lots of things to do at rhe resort, friendly, helpful staff, and the beach is a short walk across the road. Lovely part shaded walking paths and park nearby for the hot summer days
