Probably the worst experience in a cinema I've ever had. Tickets for this cinema should be no more then $12-$15 until a revamp is made and necessary changes. But even then I won't go back. My partner and I went to watch the Oppenheimer at 730pm on 4/8/23 in cinema 3 and the seats were absolutely atrocious. They are extremely uncomfortable, and it wasn't just me and my partner saying that, the row in front also made the comment. They all squeaked throughout the movie which you could hear chairs from rows ahead. Now let's get to the cup holders. I don't know what flop thought they were a good size... I had a large cup, and when placed into the holder it was so lose and wobbly that you had to be cautious of knocking it out because it sat on a constant angle. I tried 3 different options and all the same. The chairs and rows were so close you could hear people breathing, and the chairs automatically flip up. Which can be a huge hazard, a bloke down my row dropped something through the movie, went to pick it up and sit back down the fell to the ground as he went to sit down because the seat wasn't there anymore due to it flipping up. Also if you do go, make sure to grab at least 5 straws, because I went through 4 paper straws in the time of the movie due to them going soft and clogging up to the point of them not being functional. I understand this is a standard Cinema but regardless, the quality and standard is 100% lacking. I will continue to go to reading at Harbour Town own or event Robina.

Booked online, paid for our 2 drinks and packet of mars pods and that’s where the enjoyment ended… we walked into cinema 3 to the fine stench of what can only be described as sweat and wee wee. “Never mind we will push thorough” I said to the missus. We then arrive at our seats and we’re instantly taken back to the early 2000s, the armrests could not have been wider than a dogs leg and the old creaky fold up seats were borderline as loud as the adds being played on the screen, we sit there for a minute or two taking in the marvellous $70 experience we have paid for before looking at each other and saying, “do you wanna go”. On the way out we debate with each other, “do we tell someone about the experience”. This conversation proving pointless because there is not one single staff member in sight… if you have made it to this part of the review and haven’t got the drift yet, I do NOT recommend you spending your money on this outing.

Really nice cinema with a giant candy bar. Lots of choice but like every cinema these days it’s pricey. You can order online and get priority pick up of your tickets when you arrive. Cinemas are clean and not very busy although the seats are t super comfort. Like they’re comfy enough but for a leather one you’d expect it to be more comfy. We also took a coffee in which is also allowed.

Watched a movie here yesterday. Being in such a lovely shopping centre we were hoping the cinema facilities would be great but we felt a bit let down. The staff were all very friendly. Even though they were pretty busy they all took time to greet and help out. Had a couple flat whites here which were surprisingly good! The audio and screen quality were pretty good, as you’d expect from a cinema. The cinema seating is dreadful (at least in screen 3) and lets down the whole experience. Very old seats there are not firmly in place. In Sydney, and even Newcastle, the cinemas almost all have new modern leather seating which I think, after the Covid reset of the cinema industry, should be standard by now.

Came tonight to see the new movie smile and for the first half of the movie there was two groups of teenagers being extremely disruptive, making it very difficult to enjoy the movie. I personally didn't make a complaint to management/staff but I assume someone else in the theatre did. Staff handled the situation amazingly, promptly spoke to and removed those that were being disrespectful (and did so in a friendly and discrete way) so that the rest of us could enjoy the movie! Was also offered a refund for the disturbance but didn't follow up as everything was handled so well and it obviously wasn't their fault that the situation occurred!! Very appreciative:)

Saw two movies here during out 11 day stay in Surfers Paradise. One in standard cinema which was extremely comfortable and overall great experience. Sound was what you would expect at a premium Event cinema. The second movie was Halloween Ends which we watched in the 4dx theater. Although there was no glasses required the experience was great. Moving seats with vibration chairs as well as water sprays and odors,,fog and lightning which added to the overall experience and you somehow felt involved immersed in the action. We were impressed overall and will return again.

Gold class experience was great. Chairs were comfortable which is a good way to see a long movie. Bar area before you go into the cinemas is beautiful and relaxing.

We, senior clients, went to see the Oppenheimer movie yesterday at 12:40. When we got there we realised that the usual person to person tickets at the entrance is now a ticket machine. It was hard for us to deal with the machine and frustrated, we asked where could we get help. A nice lady standing by told us that she, in similar situation, had been told she could get the tickets from the counter where the food was sold! We got them there finally. We got our tickets and made sure to tell told the person there that a sign directing your older clients (the only ones that watch movies during the day on weekdays) to that counter was needed. The experience became worse as we endured the most uncomfortable and creaky seats for the three hour movie! From now on we will wait until movies are offered by Netflix. The Movie experience will be better inside our own home. :(

Friendly staff, professional service, clean theaters. Self serve or staff service available. Generally lots of sessions available. It's also conveniently located next to a food court. I would recommend getting some sushi train before heading to a movie. Oh, the popcorn is normally on point.

Great movie theater! One of the largest I’ve been in, very clean, and everything here is great quality. They had a lot of cool props as decoration for the 💅🏼Barbie Movie💕I bought my tickets online and had no problem entering immediately. The icees are sooo good!

You are supposed to have one of the biggest movies of all time little mermaid and you have no billboards or animation or pics in the background for kids to take pics of. Pacific fair cinemas! Dig deep…. Do better!

The Gold class experience at The Cinemas was delightful. The food choices were excellent, the seating was comfortable, and the sound system was top-notch. Overall, it's a place where you can truly enjoy the cinematic experience.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Watched Avatar: The Way of Water in their 4D cinema, loved every moment. Would 100% recommend. The seats moved, making fight scenes awesome, as well as wind, mist and being sprayed by water (can be turned off for individual seats.) Worth the money too!

Saw a movie tonight with my partner we are from Adelaide so we wanted to see what the cinemas would be like in the Gold Coast. The idea of filling up your own cup with whatever lollies you like is a great idea and I wish our cinema had that back at home. The only downside about our experience was we which they had recliner chairs as that would of made our cinema experience more enjoyable that’s all.

Cinema experience was very pleasant overall; snack section was clean and with a large variety of drinks and hot/cold food. The cinema was clean and staff were super friendly, and the movie itself went smoothly ; good sound level and seats were comfy too! Would be more than happy to go here to watch another movie!
