We visited Skirmish Gold Coast for a staff Christmas party and had a fantastic day. All staff were beyond helpful, friendly and informative. Safety was a top priority with fun a close second. Everything ran like clockwork, all equipment functioned perfectly, and the game field was absolutely ideal for the three matches we played. Our 18 staff had a brilliant time, and days later are still talking about every tiny detail of the day. Thanks to Ross and the team there on the day for taking such great care of us. I can't recommend Skirmish Gold Coast highly enough.

Had a lot of fun here with my friends. The staff were quick in getting us into the games and very helpful in telling us how it all works. They were funny but also genuine people that you could talk to and not usual employees at places that seem like cardboard afraid of losing their job if they mess up a little. The field is amazing with great cover and ways to sneak up behind people. The only reason I give this a 4 and not a 5 is there was no "free for all" game, just 3 mini games; capture the flag, get a bomb to the tank and shoot the person for the vest. I really wanted a free for all or at least a team battle with no added mini game just so it could be more insane and fun. Other than that, it was great and the museum was amazing. Had WW1/2 stuff and out the front you can even get real war items. I got an amazing deal on a uncirculated Red Poppy Remembrance day coin for only $12 and they usually go for $40+ All and all, excellent place. Skirmish and museum.

came here for a birthday party last week. looked good until I got a uniform that had holes in it and buttons missing. my belt wouldn’t stick because the velcro was old. i asked for a replacement but they did not have one better. the staff were mostly teens who were impolite and sad looking. weren’t very helpful at all. most of the guns didn’t work and if they did they would jam frequently. the paintballs had to be held in by rubber bands and the grips were falling off. the masks stunk of sweat and were not cleaned at all and didn’t tighten properly. i had fun playing but if there was better equipment and the staff were more caring, it would be 5 stars. but some stuff really needs to be cleaned up. not worth the money in its current state. i have played paintball in many places and this is the worst one so far. i was greeted well and I enjoyed the museum so i would definitely come again if they clean up their act a bit. :) EDIT: Thanks for your reply! That’s a great reaction and I hope that you stand by that because you definitely won’t regret it. I’ll be sure to come in again soon. :)

Went here for a birthday recently, the staff were very friendly but the event seemed relatively unorganised / rushed - it was a weekend and there were lots of people in our group. The prices are on-par with other paintball places, however, a lot of the equipment we were given was faulty / broken. Multiple people in my group were given paintball guns that were broken upon receival or broke in use and had to be replaced. My paintball gun was replaced 3 times before I got one that worked, which wasted my time on-field. Overall still a fun day and would recommend going here if you dont want to travel.

Would prefer if it was a little more flat and more games. Staff is super friendly. Guns do have issues from time to time.

Poor booking system & customer service communication. I recently attempted to book a paintball session at Skirmish GC. I called them up a week in advance to find out which days they already had games running that had space for a few more players. I was told to just book through the website. Once I booked onto a session my confirmation was listed as pending (presumably because there were not enough people booked in for a full game). This status remained unchanged. Nobody contacted us to confirm whether the game would happen. Nobody picked up when trying to get an answer via phone. Nobody replied to the answer phone message which was left.

So as you walk in you get to endure all amazing historic artefacts. However when you go to pay for the Deals you soon learn later on that you HAVE TO PAY $20 EXTRA!!! Just to get 100 more shots when you run out extremely quickly. Some of the guns were somewhat faulty and the shots were falling directly out of the barrel. Be aware when wearing the masks you will easily fog up. Overall it was an ok experience but the prices need to be looked over.

our guns worked fine. some guns on the field didn't work. there was a lot of players on the field which made it harder. still at lot of fun. everyone hates it when you shot someone and they don't retreat 10ft. 🤷 like u didn't shot me. right. sometime the paintball don't explode on impact which hurt and leave no trase of hit,, untill later. I'm looking forward to going back. 🙂 masks and clothes do need extra attention as many uses can be still wet on belts and mask. mask are important. cleaning is important and u need extra clothes to clean them other the just the one of the group for the day. last group gets a bit hazy.

We booked a bucks party paintball session here for about 20 of us. They provided camo overalls for all, as well as masks and guns hire. Pretty good pricing for paint considering it’s the only paint ball on the Gold Coast. We all had a great time, talking tactics and battling it out for an hour and a half of fun and fury ! Thanks

The museum is actually amazing. Well put together and stories to read with each display. They also sell memorabilia. We went for paintball. The feedback from my family was "it was ok". We've been to Samford Skirmish Paintball, and they compared to Gold Coast and said Samford was much better and better value for money (some specials $85 600 paintballs) and 3 different battle fields. GC skirmish paintball only had one battlefield and 3 games $106 for 400 paintballs. Or $54 for 100 paintballs. $169 for 700 paintballs. Very VERY strict on the ID process! Regardless, everyone still had fun. :)

Absolute scam of a place. Guns barely even worked, the outfits and face protection smelt unusual and the workers seemed detached from reality. The geezer selling paintballs had earphones in the whole time and seemed angry whenever he was disturbed by someone purchasing more balls. No wonder people put stones in the guns, their wallets are rinsed dry from ammunition by the time they reach the third game. I recommend staying clear from this dilapidated place unless you like shooting derelict paintball guns and dressing up in suspicious smelling gear that still has remnants of bodily fluids from the guy who used it weeks prior.

Played a game on Saturday during rain. The experience was just OK -- masks get foggy quickly, hard to get these wiped especially during the game. My mask was quite smelly -- is it ever cleaned up? 3 hours on site with just 45 minutes in action -- the rest of the time spent waiting for briefings etc, organization is quite inefficient. Too crowded on field. Players not declaring hits and continuing to stay where they are, judges not visible on field and not intervening when they should. Start/End-whistles are hard to hear.

I think Paint Ball/Skirmish is always going to be loads of fun. The staff were functional. The blonde short haired older lady was actually really nice and for my son's birthday, overall it was a good day. The functioning of the skirmish was well organised and ran smoothly. I do however think its REALLY over priced hence the three stars otherwise it would have got a solid four. But I imagine this is the busiest time of the year and what looks to be a good public fleecing is the one and only time of the year where they are pulling at least $100 per person and they have several hundred going through on a Saturday. The building etc is looking rather tired and could do with a really good dusting but the toilets are clean if very out dated. Don't think we will do it again, for the 6 young adults it cost $420 (The basic pack and 100 extra paint balls each) and they ALL needed at least another 200 paint balls to fill the 2 hours so an extra $40 for each of them. So around $600 without food or drink... Thou its fun just the cost for 2 hours will keep us from returning.
