Great climbing centre not far from Burleigh heads. Staff were great and attentive, and safety demonstration was great. Good selection of equipment to try and climb. Quite cheap too, $22.

These days indoor rock climbing has so much to offer, yet Paramount falls very short. Yeah sure, staff where nice, but the walls where outdated and offered very little stimulation - frankly they felt pointless! Who ever has been setting these walls should consider more training or handing the task over to someone else. No offence meant. When I asked staff how (or more like IF) the lines on the walls where graded, In was told I needed to check at the front counter for each wall - another big gap. Especially for a climbing gym that has been around 20 years (I was told). Mind you, I’m not a seasoned climber by any means!! Just a spoiled one I guess...

Absolutely amazing! Went to both surfing and rock climbing, brilliant! Both activities had good quality materials and staff members were extremely nice and attentive. Wide variety of rock climbing walls and amazing price for such a fantastic day out! Highly recommend 🤗

We went with my sons Scout Group, the guys were very supportive, encouraged my son to have a go at climbing and helped him with hand a foot placement. There was a great range of climbing challenges for all levels of skill.

Came up from Vic with our Venturers unit and had incredible service all round. The surfing lesson was awesome, rock climbing/abseiling facilities were incredible. Staff were kind, helpful, and great to chat to. 100% will be coming again.

Pretty wacky climbing hall, that wouldn’t pass safety requirements in the Netherlands. Old and weird material is used: - Climber is secured with two medieval carabiners, which are only in the way during climbing. Just use a Belay Master; - Ropes are so old and worn out that it’s difficult to belay. Rope is attached to a single rusty point at the ceiling, while it should be attached to two separate carabiners. With climbing you always assume one of your ancor points fails; - You’re belaying with a Grigri (which is a good thing), but it’s attached to the floor. So as a belayer, there is no way moving around. Grading system good also be done better.. They have a little concrete wall, which is a plus. Would recommend to go bouldering instead of going to this hall.

What an awesome place for the whole family. Excellent service, very friendly staff comfort importantly they know what they are doing. Everything is easy to follow and learn the basics. My 5 year old daughter spends hours there.. Never gets bored. Thanks guys!!

This was our first time visiting Paramount and I was super impressed with their safety induction. Thorough without feeling patronising to people who may have climbed at other gyms. The staff were attentive and encouraging. My girls had a fantastic time thank you!

Fresh new look, better graded routes and this awesome simulated rock wall challenge makes paramount adventure a fantastic indoor rock climbing gym. The friendly staff are always on hand to give you tips and they run courses all year round. They also offer outdoor climbing and absailing at point danger on a regular basis.

Came into this cafe on my way to work, amazing specialty coffee from Melbourne and easy on the go snacks and smoothies. Would defiantly recommended as a Burleigh local. Had a little peep at the climbing gym while I was there.

Nic, Christian, Stella and all the crew here are absolute legends. They are always on point, incredibly friendly and have a good sense of humour. My partner and i started climbing here regularly about 5 months ago and the team have helped us every step of the way. They follow good safety procedures, and they help us out with all the tips and tricks to help us get stronger and climb with better technique. Paramount has been a great place to learn about climbing, build our strength and fitness levels, as well as meet new people who are keen for adventures, getting fit and being active, and have a passion for the outdoors. We are currently doing our lead course through paramount, which will enable us to climb confidently outside. All the staff are incredibly knowledgeable in these areas. I highly recommend paramount as the go to climbing and fitness gym for anyone from beginner to advanced. There is a massive range of walls from top rope, lead and bouldering, and there are plenty of different grades.

Unfortunately, this place need some love and compassion! Many holds are loose, belaying lever on some climbs need updating. The area has potential but little vision. Would be awesome to see this place reinvigorated.

Staff were great. Kids had a great time on all the different climbs.
