Had it not been for the terrible customer service here, my rating would've been a lot higher. My friend and I had a treatment package each here on Thursday 11th May - I had originally booked for 2 people at 3pm and that was confirmed. I was flying up to the Gold Coast from Sydney that morning & wanted to ensure I had ample time to make it to our booking in case the flight got delayed last minute etc. The day before my appointment, I got a call from Lynn, the receptionist, telling me my 3pm booking was apparently no longer available and we had to shift to 1:30pm. I said that was theoretically fine & we left it at that. Which I had every entitlement not to, given how extremely unprofessional that is. Mind you, no apology at all was provided by Lynn. The next day we came to do our treatment & Lynn at reception was cold, unwelcoming and made us feel really uncomfortable. The therapists themselves were excellent/very friendly and professional and the massage was really good, but when we went to pay & leave, we asked Lynn if the Q1 hotel provided towels at the pool (the Stephanies website states spa guests can use the hotel pool, and we wanted to go for a dip). She rudely snapped at us that no, they don't, and the spa doesn't either so we should've brought our own. It was the most patronising, rude, disgusting and passive aggressive behaviour I've ever experienced at any day spa/massage centre. Seriously unbelievable. First she moves our appointment at the last minute with zero apology (she is lucky we even accommodated) then after we pay, has the temerity to snap at us for asking a polite simple question. Absolutely heinous behaviour and turned us off so much. I will definitely be telling anyone travelling to the GC to avoid this day spa at all costs. Which is a shame because the treatment is quite good, but the service from reception is abysmal, hideous and the biggest turn-off you could imagine. Just disgusting. I hope management sees this and enforces behavioural reform, because it's seriously required. Can't believe I paid $200 to be treated like that. Not what I wanted when I flew up from a different city that morning.

As much as the massage was good, the reception staff called me 2 times to push us to come earlier than the time we booked as they had cancellations. I’ve already told her that we just arrived and it would be best to keep to the original time. Then called me again if I’m willing to reschedule the next morning, without any regard to whether we already have other plans. The stress of getting out of the airport and traffic with the incessant phone calls left a bad taste to what would have been an exceptional experience.

Beautiful, serene environment with lovely, friendly staff. We had the Ritual for Two which was so relaxing & enjoyable. Definitely recommended the experience & Stephanie’s spa.

Was exactly what I needed. Chloe who took care of my treatment was lovely and made my time at Stephanie's Wellness Spa an incredible experience for both myself and my daughter. We both left feeling so relaxed and pampered. Thoroughly enjoyed and will definitely be back. 5 ☆ service. Thank you 🥰

Love coming to Stephanie's. We go often one thing I would change is handing out the feed back cards at the end of your massage it is real annoying. I don't mind leaving a review here. Staff and the massages are awesome,very clean and relaxing environment. We will be back soon

They where more then happy to make things work for me, Once I got to the spa lounge I was greeted by Brooke who was professional and amazing through the whole massage !! Thankyou so much 5 stars !!

Very calming atmosphere, however it seemed a little small, & the refreshments (fruit platter etc) didn’t seem all that fresh… It was so lovely still though & I enjoyed my experience very much & felt very refreshed afterwards. I have had 4-5 sessions at Stephanie’s Q1 in Surfers Paradise and every single time I have come away feeling completely relaxed and taken care of to a standard I didn’t know was possible. My favourite treatment is the Hydro Wellness therapy session (the Vichy shower is a must in my book and I love it so much that I always rope a friend or my partner or mum to come with me and we have a couples room treatment!) :) The staff are so incredibly lovely and calm and the massages I have had have all been incredible (the fact they check what pressure you like etc to make sure you’re enjoying it to it’s fullest). The last time I went I opted to add the hot stones to my massage and oh my gosh I won’t ever look back and that will now be a staple when I book in future! Thank you so much to everyone from the staff on the front desk, to the wellness therapists for always providing a safe and calm atmosphere and a little bubble away from real life for a little while where people can completely unwind and have a moment to themselves.

Had the best spa experience (ever)! Alex was extremely professional and his expertise created such a lovely birthday spa day. The scared queen journey was very special and I highly recommend. I highly recommend the Restore Ritual, it really should be referred to as an "experience"; Maryna was mindful and considerate of my anxiety, and her knowledge of the body, mind and spirit showed in her ability to "read " my specific needs. I left feeling stronger in spirit and hopeful.

During my stay in queensland I had the pleasure of visiting Stephanies wellness spa and experiencing one of the best hot stone massage and personalised facial I've ever had! I walked out feeling so calm and revitalised not to mention my skin felt so plump and fresh. 1 week after returning back home to Melbourne I remembered that I had forgotten my gold necklace in the pocket of the bathrobe I wore while unwinding with a cup of tea after the massage, all part of the Stephanie's spa experience 😊. I immediately called the spa and told them what had happened. With great relief they advised me that they had found my necklace at head office where the robes were taken to be cleaned. TWO DAYS later my necklace was back in my hands as they mailed it through express post! I can't thank the staff at Stephanie's Wellness Spa at the Q1 resort and the staff at Stephanie's head office enough for their honesty and prompt delivery. Also wrapping up my necklace in bubble wrap for protection did not go un noticed! I will definitely recommend them to all my family and friends ❤️

I had the most wonderful experience yesterday with Stephan at Stephanie’s Day Spa. His attention to detail, gave you all the feels! The aroma choice was magic. We only booked for an hour, but I can honestly say that hour was by far the most relaxed I’ve ever felt at a spa.
