We decided to give this place a try based on a friend's recommendation, and we're so glad we did! The Chicken Tenders at Deep South Chicken are in a league of their own. The fries had a lovely seasoning that elevated their taste and made them an excellent companion to the main dish. Also, the macaroni salad was very good, with a creamy and flavourful dressing. The cornbread had a nice sweetness and texture. We placed our order on the 25th of June 2023, and it was a decision we didn't regret. I’ve eyed out Deep South Chicken for a year or so now, today I finally pulled the trigger and went in to give it a try after seeing the reviews, WOW did this place not disappoint, the Taste and the size of the chicken were next level. I usually find it quite easy eating a large meal at another Fried chicken joint but left unsatisfied, but Deep South Chicken did not disappoint the tenderness and Juiciness of there chicken out preforms any other fried chicken I’ve ever had. The Chips were also amazing and crisp, they must fry them in the same oil because the chips tasted like the chicken seasoning. The Sauce we had was also beautiful. (Honey Mustard) I’m usually someone who doesn’t do takeaway because I hate getting home and having cold food but after driving roughly 10 minutes home the chicken and chips were still sizzling. Good Job Deep South Chicken, ill definitely be seeing you again.

Amazing and crisp fried chicken, the sauces were an amazing flavour, and definitely something different then the usual sauces in offer elsewhere. Seasoning on the chips was also awesome.

Such lovely customer service. We brought the family wings box! They let me know that they only had 11 wings instead of 15 and asked if I would like to take some chicken tenders in replace of wings or wait 5-6mins for more wings. I didn’t mind taking the tenders. When I got home our box was full! The wings and tenders had that perfect crispy chicken. And we’re full of flavour. The chips and seasoning was delicious! We had to force ourselves to stop over eating them. We tried the corn bread we have nothing to compare it to as we have never had it before. It had nice texture and a little sweetness. Not sure if I would order that again, nothing they don’t wrong it just wasn’t my thing. The Macaroni salad, could do with a bit more salt or something just to give it a little bit more of a hit. The sauces, I feel need to match your meal size your buying. They were a bit small for a family sized meal. But live the flavour of both the ranch and bbq sauce. We’ll definitely be back to try some burgers!

Possibly some of the best fried chicken in seq. And good size serves. Fries seasoning in splendid as well . Grab some takeaway and roll over to the lake. Awesome food and great spot to lay after food coma hits

Awesome little place, so unassuming, you wouldn’t really look twice at it if it didn’t have such great word of mouth. The food is well priced, some of the best chicken iv had, seasoned well, moist, tender, crisp exterior.. what more do you want from deep fried chicken? Their sauce, chips and sides are fantastic to. Service was great, I was served by Aliyah, really nice person, it’s always good when you can have a laugh and a chin wag with the staff, that’s when you know they actually enjoy their job. Iv tried all the best burger joints on the coast, this is way up the pointy end.

I recently spent 6 weeks in The South and this place is just as good as the top fried chicken spots there. Super crispy skin, melt in your mouth. Nice burgers. Great sauces. Moist cornbread. Highly recommend.

I love Deep South so much. It’s the only take-out food that I crave. The chicken is always cooked perfectly…crispy on the outside, juicy in the middle. The flavors are unreal! My go to is the buffalo wrap with slaw. I have never been mad about hot chips anywhere, ever. But their hot chips are like nothing else…so tasty and always fresh. The service is always warm, informative and laid back which makes me feel at ease. The price is also so good, especially for the quality.

Delicious! Definitely returning. Finally tried this place after passing it on my way out of the service station for over a year, and seeing local reviews. I had a freshly made Slaw burger and macaroni salad and it was SO good. The chicken has a lot of flavour, the outside is crispy, and its moist inside. Not dry at all. The slaw and pickles give a good tangy edge, on a brioche bun. The macaroni salad is a spin on a cold pasta salad, the medium is a big portion and great for left overs the next day!

I've had a lot of fried chicken on the coast. This chicken slaps frfr no 🧢on God☝🏽. The dredge goes dummy hard and the tendies are so juicy and crispy. I ate it fresh in-store so it was as juicy and crispy as it could be.
