    I am actually disgusted from the receptionists at this medical centre and I left today in tears. I am a (about to graduate) student psychologist and have worked in health for over ten years and I think the two receptionists today really need some training in customer service and just how to communicate with people with common decency. I came in today to get a referral for my sister for a private rehab as she uses drugs and is in very poor health. Something that is tearing our family apart. It was difficult even to get my sister to the appointment. Upon entering they took one look at both of us (I've been camping over the long weekend for the last few days so I guess I looked a bit scruffy but geez) and loudly asked if we were there for dosing or if we need a nurse for "any kind of injections." I quietly said no. I filled out my sisters new patient form because she is in such a state that she can't do it herself. They rudely kept asking for further details.. three times. Saying I'd missed a last name here an address here. It wasnt what they said but their tone! I was really taken aback by how rude they were. At the end of the consult I came up to pay and send off a fax and the receptionist bluntly said "what are you hear for?" . Oh and the hospital did not receive the fax that was sent by them. PLEASE train your staff to have some common decency, use some discretion and please don't buy into stigmas and be so quick to judge. I understand that staff cop abuse but I have worked in customer service in a similar setting my whole working life and would never treat anyone the way I was treated today, even though I copped LOTS of abuse from customers in the past. You have made an already extremely difficult time for us all the more upsetting. The passive aggressive signs on the walls saying one problem per appointment are also not going to be drawing in too many return clients.

    Disgusting mannerism from all the receptionists, especially from the elderly brown headed one. The way you greet people as they approach the desk with a "What" or a very abrupt & rude "Yesss" is ugly and unprofessional! Also asking patients/clients what their problem is in a loud manner is disrespectful..where is the privacy?? And compassion?? And asking them to speaking up loud, knowingly there are people sitting right there and that can hear everything. The ladies at the front desk reception needs to be replaced by a professional team that have attention to detail and MANNERS. It seemed everyone entering was an inconvenience. The performance needs a thorough revamp/reviewing ASAP!

    At 8:16 I called to book a Telehealth appoint as I had flu like symptoms and was unable to attend in person. A young lady had to double check when I last attended the practice to see my eligibility. She said it’s fine and I should receive a phone call just after 1pm for the appointment. At 2:56pm I received a phone call from a lady (Julie?) who said unfortunately I was not eligible to receive a phone call as I had not been in in the last 6 months. I know accidents happen and I am by no means upset at this First Lady who took the booking as she may be new. As it was now 3pm, I am unable to go to any other practice or organise a Telehealth as 1. I have not been to any other practice in the last 6 months & 2. All appointments were booked. I was told by the lady (Julie?) that unfortunately there is nothing they can do and to call up on Thursday when the practice manager is back. I asked if possible to receive some sort of letter outlining that an administrative error had occurred so I could provide this as evidence to my work that I wasn’t lying. She said no and that my only option is call back on Thursday. I asked if she could inform the practice manager by email, she responded no as she does not have access to email and does not send any internal emails. I asked if she could please leave a note or just inform the practice manager so she is aware. She refused and said no, the only thing I can do is call back. She then raised her voice as had I at this point because not only had she suggested i go else where, she CLEARLY did not want to inform the practice manager of the debacle. When I requested to speak to someone in charge she placed me on hold for maybe 30seconds came back and said unfortunately there is nothing I can do for you. I asked if the lady (Julie?) was then second in charge, she said no, I said may I speak to that person then? She again said no. After not once ounce of assistance or acknowledgment of the error to provide forward to the practice manager she said we are going in circles and I am going to hang up…. Which she did in fact terminate the call. Judging by the reviews, it seems there is already a well known ISSUE with particular admin (Julie?). I will not return, please fix your procedures to handle issues like this in the future. I’m sure the community would be greatly pleased.

    Terrible medical centre. Great doctor who is very helpful but the reception staff are extremely unprofessional and rude especially over the phone. There was a problem with my script while my doctor was on leave and my pharmacist even complained to me how poorly they were spoken to and how difficult they were making the issue with offering no resolution. I even got hung up on by one of the receptionist when I rang and asked to speak to the practice manager. I honestly can't believe how poorly medical administration staff can treat patients and get away with it. Reading the other reviews this is clearly an issue felt by a lot of patients and I think it's about time the practice makes an effort to deal with this!

    What a disgusting display of customer service! I'll never be visiting the practice again! I'm sure you are u der the pump but I little patience and compassion goes a long way. The woman on the right computer today (my left) was the most unpleasant receptionist I have ever seen! So rude I was horrified she still has a job!

    DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! Staff were nothing but rude and unhelpful. I waited over two hours for my appointment only to be told by doctor that he was unable to help me as I am not his usual patient (my usual doctor is on maternity leave and there were no appointments available at the clinic that I usually go to). Did not provide any medical advice during my appointment after I had told him I was in pain. The doctors at this clinic do not seem to care for patient health, I will definitely not be returning. After reading similar reviews, it is clear that this clinic needs to pick up it's act. I wish I could give this clinic a zero star Google rating.

    Horrible receptionist. One Julie lady is consistently rude on the phone and whenever I come in. The first few times I excused her that she might be having a bad day but it has been consistent. Rude, condescending and abrasive. Never lets your finish your sentence and directs you to “step back” if she doesn’t want to attend to a patient yet. Horrible. Just horrible! I will be finding a new clinic.

    I can’t believe that reception conduct themselves like they do here. In particular there is one woman who is terrible. She is so rude and horrible to everyone. I have just read through so many reviews for here of which 95% of are largely complaining about her. If you go here expect for your details to be yelled out by her no matter who can hear it. Expect her to yell at you, speak abruptly and rudely at you and do not expect to be treated respectfully. I am happy to see the removal of all the horrible printed out signs they had hanging in every square millimetre about patients treating their staff respectfully. What a pity that their receptionist(s) don’t practice what they preach because the people will have been put off before they’ve had a chance to meet their doctor. The doctor I’ve seen there a few times was fine but I won’t be returning anymore due to the receptionists.

    Major concerns about people’s privacy after ANOTHER PERSONS CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION WAS EMAILED TO ME INCORRECTLY. I have had a few issues with this doctor over the past 1.5 years including late phone consults and doctors being impatient and not having a professional manner towards myself in vulnerable situations however, today has proven that these doctors are absolutely hopeless. I had an appointment booked in at 12.10pm and as per usual I did not receive a call on time. In fact, I didn’t receive a call at all. I allowed time as they are always late but when I called at 3pm I was advised the doctor had gone home. They were able to put me through to another doctor but after my appointment they had emailed me another persons referral with confidential information attached. I contacted them to receive my correct referral and receptionist were snarky as per usual telling me it was already sent until I informed them it wasn’t mine that was sent to me to which the kindness act come out but no apology or ownership was taken for this screw up. DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION AND PRIVACY.

    Very bad experience to visit there. A such greed administration and rudely receptionist. I went there to see the GP for first time and get a consultation with the GP and GP recommended me to do MRI scan just by writing the on the paper. At that day i went to hospital for MRI they said they won't do MRI without the request form of the GP which he didn't gave me. Every labs also asking for request form from the GP. Next day when I again went to the Toombul medical centre and let them know that I couldn't got appointment due to the request form. Then shen said come here after 1 hour I will make 5 minutes pass for you to see the doctor. I visit there after 1 hour and waited around 40 minutes. I asked receptionist how long will it take I just need to see doctor for 5 minutes the she said you will pay here for the full consultation fees for just 5 minutes. I said this is not my mistake if doctor didn't gave me that form that is your responsibility. She said you will have to pay otherwise you cant meet doctor. Such a creepy staffy and greedy management

    Booked a telehealth appointment this morning for my wife for 1.20pm. No call received. 2.30pm phoned reception to be told the doctor had called but there was no answer. There was no missed call or sms from my provider when I have a missed call, or voicemail. Either the doctor dialled the wrong number, or decided not to call. The doctor had also left for the day and no remedying action was offered to arrange another same-day appointment. This seems to be a common occurrence having reviewed the feedback here. I also do wonder how many bookings are being claimed from medicare without having attended to any patients as it shows online as Appointment Attended.
