Got a toasted ham and chees sandwich. Really thick bread and absolutely no butter. So dry I couldn't eat it and had to go and ask for some butter to put on it. At the price it was I'm sure they could increase the food cost by a few cents so the sandwich was palatable. Also the tables were dirty and when I asked if I could get one wiped down I was told that they would get to it when they could. In these days of Covid hygiene guidelines I expected better.

Shame that the only coffee shop at a private hospital is of this standard - the waitress was on her own and burnt my order and placed it in front of me to eat!! No gluten free options, no fresh juices and management, please provide appropriate clothing for staff to wear - short shorts that ride up a person's bum is tacky let alone in a hospital eatery!

This is a hospital cafe, there is a little gluten free food , and lots of varied bread meals. ( no salads or fresh juices) I was particularly put out because I bought a packaged meal ( probably been there all day) , and ordered a coffee. And sat outside to eat, as I could hear they were calling names outside, to give coffees which were taking 10- 15 mins. I heard two names called, who had ordered after me , so asked where mine was . I was snapped at that mine got thrown out as I was called - but as I had not had a coffee, and was very much looking forward to it , I know full well I was not called outside, though the girl swore she did . Then she begrudgingly made another which I felt sure she had just put second hand grounds through , as it was without a touch of colour and could not taste coffee. I paid for another as that was undrinkable, the coffee I finally received ( paid twice for) was just drinkable. Disappointing. I do prefer being able to write a good review!!. This business has the market captured, people too sick to go anywhere else, waiting for appointments, and family and friends here to support loved ones in hospital. This business could be doing so well- not just in terms of making money -( I am sure they are doing fine in this regard), but also in offering healthier less packaged alternatives, good coffee ( trained baristas) and freshly made juices ( great for visitors to take patients too) . And they could be friendlier -

A very convenient cafe attached to John Flynn Private Hospital. The coffee, drinks, sandwiches and pastries have kept my family going for the past 2 weeks whilst my father has been in hospital. They make a good coffee here, much better than the machines in the hospital. There is also a nice outdoor seating area where you can sit in the sun and enjoy the view of the surrounding gardens. The staff are friendly and provide excellent customer service.

Lovely place to sit and have a break . The coffee had a funny taste. The girl making coffees had gloves on. While I was waiting to order she was using a computer tablet, fixing her hair, rubbed her nose, all with the same gloves on. Please teach your staff how to use gloves correctly. All those germs have now been spread to coffee and tea cups and all over the machine. To add to this, the water cups were not clean, one had lipstick on it, need I say more, and this is a hospital cafe, germs galore!

One girl that served me had a scarf tied around her head...not friendly at all...icy reception from her....they put chairs up on tables as I just sat down to eat even tho they had 1 hr to closing & ice maiden said it wld be better if I moved to outside area......no warning about this when I ordered food & coffee...wont go there again...has never been a nice atmosphere & it should be as its for hospital guests etc the hospital..👎👎

Arrived for our appointment at John Flynn early today so my wife and i decided to have a coffee at Hudsons. What a great decision it turned out to be,the two young ladies working there could not have been more helpful or pleasant. The coffee was hot and flavoursome and the apple crumble muffin was delicious, we sat outside under the Jacaranda tree listening to the fountain, absolutely delightful, thank you Hudsons.

Wow, such a shame this place has to include ratings from the previous business (Hudsons Coffee). It is a whole new fresh place. I haven't been here for abouttwo and hal years. I was reluctant to have lunch here after my appointment today, but thought what the heck, it will save some driving and finding another park etc etc. But wow, fresh food choices, beautiful presentsion. Quick serbice even at peak trafgic time. Bright white wall room, none if that heavy brown colour scheme of you know who. I enjoyed the chicken bbq pizza followed by a bircher muesli and cup of tea. Highly recommend.
