Terrible customer service worst receptionist I’ve ever come across in a hotel. Calling them is a pain too because it’s the same lady with the worst attitude

We stayed for seven nights at this hotel and were told that alongside the fee for the rooms we would also pay an additional $200 for a security deposit fee that would be refunded once we left. The $200 was not refunded so when I called four days after I checked and spoke to the staff they told me that there were banking issues and that it should come through soon. A few days later nothing had come through so I called again. This time I was told that the deposit would not be refunded as apparently we had smoked cigarettes in the room and had left cigarette ash on the mattress protector. Neither my partner nor I smoke cigarettes (I smoke a herbal blend designed to help quit smoking that I only did on the balcony) so this could not be true. I was told that a manager would call me back to discuss but they never did. I was very disappointed by this apparent lack of care for their customers and frankly found it very strange that I was not contacted at all about this issue. Will definitely not be staying here again which was a shame as we were planning on returning.

Really good location and very well equipped inside of the apartment (which is more like a big motel room with a few added extras as it is all open plan with a small bathroom). Parking was good too, underground and gated and easy access to the apartments by a lift. Brazilian lady who checked us in was really nice too. However, the place just wasn't clean - we felt quite uncomfortable in the room and were unsure of what had actually been cleaned. It also needed some serious maintenance (shower head fell off - twisted it back and it was an easy fix but I guess it wouldn't be long before it fell off again, blind also fell off the wall as we went to shut it). There had been some renovations done in the bathroom but the apartment was mostly very old. Not sure the last time that the blanket was washed that was on the bed. If this place was cleaned and maintained properly it would be a nice place to stay. I wouldn't stay again.

Never again! Not sure what pictures they used - but it’s run down, dirty walls and carpet disgusting , bathroom ceiling flaking, bathroom vanity almost falling apart, and not even curtains that can close properly for privacy. Oh and the bond - as others mentioned - they should be paying you the $200 to stay there! The only good thing was looking at the ocean which you needed to do to forget where you were! I’ve stayed budget before but this gives budget a bad name. Regret not taking photos to share!

Very bad apartments. Staff is very unfriendly, rooms is not clean, there was bugs in every corner of this hotel, no wifi, also they try to take every penny from you and try to search what you broke, doesn’t matter that was broken before your arrive. Do not value that amount of money.

The overall management of this apartment appears somewhat disconnected. Having stayed in numerous apartments previously, I find their approach to holding a deposit quite excessive, especially for a 3-star hotel. Requiring a $300 holding deposit feels disproportionate given the apartment's run down and poor quality condition. The bond requirements seem unfair, aiming to leave guests financially burdened for damages they may not have caused. Fortunately, I read reviews beforehand, so I meticulously documented everything with photos. The hassle isn't worth the stay, and perhaps Erika's apartments warrant investigation based on such practices.

Booking for a birthday gateway, for the price and location it was a great bargain!! I had read other reviews about it being out of date and " run down" and while I agree that its not up to fashion standards for a weekend away I couldn't ask for anything more. We had no troubles checking in or out, the room was beautifully clean and the views were jaw dropping (such beautiful beach views!!). It was an old building sure but honestly I just wanted a roof over my head with working electricity and I got such a lovely weekend away and friendly staff, as well as a comfortable bed and nice shower/bathroom. If your looking for a fancy hotel or luxury then this probably isn't your best bet, but if you just need a break from the everyday and to relax and get some sun and surf then I highly recommend
