Amazing food, but non-existent service! We had a booking at a specific table because we wanted a more private dining experience. Upon arrival, we introduced ourselves and were seated at a completely different one than requested. When we pointed it out, they addressed it but they did so begrudgingly - with a few head shakes. The steaks, desserts and sides we're on par with what we expected for this price range. The steaks were cooked to our exact liking, so props to the chef/cook. However, save your money and don't order any cocktails; it more ice than liquor. Stick with their wines. Our server was rude. No smiles, no asking how the meal was, and she kept rushing us all night long. Our bill came to $500+ as we wanted to celebrate a special occasion between me and my friend. We wanted to enjoy our steaks and bottle of wine in a relaxing manner. The restaurant was far from full so not sure what the rush was about. For that price, we shouldn't have been rushed and service should have been attentive, and at the very least cordial.

DON'T GO! I am entitled to 25% of my bill up to $50.00 being I purchased entertainment card. Tonight, I went to the restaurant when I wanted to use the voucher, they have refused to accept my voucher. So, I have argued with the restaurant manager. Instead, another customer closeby paid $50.00 towards my bill ! If a fine dining restaurant couldn't give the customer the discount they are entitled to and allowing another customer paying for it, what sort of restaurant are you?! I didn't ask for anything more but my rights to use the voucher I have paid for it. $50.00 will not make me any poorer, but I will choose to no go there again in any situation. DON'T GO THERE! THEY DO NOT LOOK AFTER YOU BUT YOUR MONEY ONLY. P.S. food is nice but nice food everywhere. I will support small business who cares about me.

Extremely disappointed to be writing this review as dinning at Moo Moos is usually a highlight of our trip but tonight was a whole different experience. I understand times are tougher due to Covid but tell us when booking that half the menu is unavailable and there will be no cocktails. It was probably one of the worst stakes I’ve eaten completely full of fat and our entire party felt the same. If anyone had bothered to ask how our meals where I would have been happy to share. I was only asked when paying the bill if we would like to leave a tip, we did anyway because I understand times are tough but I think the standard here has definitely dropped and it no longer warrants the high price tag.

My hubby and I went there for our first time last night for our Anniversary and it was sensational. From the moment we walked in, greeted from several staff and wished a Happy Anniversary from the manager, to the moment we left. Our waitress, Tyler, was absolutely lovely, and took the time to go through steak options. Johnny (who usually works at the Brisbane store) came over and talked out wine options with us and recommended what turned out to be one of the best wines we’ve had. Our steaks were perfection, our sides were delicious, and we even had Johnny pop back over, and he brought us a little glass of the second wine we were considering, complimentary, just so we could try it. The staff were all full of smiles, and took the time with you, the food was insanely good (I had the rump cap, probably one of the best steaks I’ve ever had). We are locals and now that we’ve been here, we will be sure to be back. Thank you for making our Anniversary so special.

Oh my goodness. Top of the line steak and sides and also top of the line staff service. Can not say a bad word about this place. I can only just highly recommend that you must try. We were looked after by Nick tonight and he was absolutely fabulous. So courteous and polite. He Guided us through the cuts of meat and grades. Five stars all round

subpar food and poor customer service. the old blonde lady server who served us was pretty rude. she asked us if we wanted to have wine when we were eating and I told her maybe later because we were not sure if we want one. We ended up not getting one. When we asked for the bill she told us in a sarcastic manner " here is your bill and no wine for you". It was an unnecessary comment . so what if we didn't get the wine? we're customers anyway. we can choose what we want to order or not. there's better restaurants with better customer service. a fine dining restaurant should train their staff regarding customer service. not gonna recommend this place to friends. there's better steak restaurants than this

I was quite disappointed with Moomoo. I went there with a few of my friends for dinner. One of the first things that was a little disappointing was our waitstaff kind of made prejudgements about us. That we didn't know the various steak cuts, and how we wanted our steak. Two of my friends wanted their steaks medium and myself and another wanted ours medium rare. He told us we probably meant we wanted them well done. And that we would like that better.... my friends were a little timid so they accepted it but i insisted on having mine medium rare. Mine came out as ordered so that was good.. he kind of just shoved a variety of sides to us and didn't really give us the benefit of the doubt that we knew what we wanted to eat. Not that we needed that benefit of the doubt especially if we are paying at least $99 each. 2. The bathrooms were pretty messy. Just in case you need some perspective. My friends and i are black... so, having predispositions made of us is something we are used to. Doesn't mean we like it. But hey. Bottom line is. The standard did not reflect the price that we paid.

Food was sensational and our overall experience was amazing, perfected by our waiter Braden who went above and beyond to ensure we would be satisfied with our order. Please have Braden open & manage a store in Melbourne haha Thanks again, tonight's dinner was the highlight of our holiday.

They may want to turn the restaurant into a Michelin style. But the taste of the food doesn’t match price. The steak is very tender and juicy while the seasoning is too salty and the two of steak sources were so bad ，are there Chinese medicine? Chips taste good and super creamy but after a few bites, you don't want to eat any more because it is too heavy and the chips looks like four order of French fries. I appreciate the restaurant's generosity but I don’t want feeling of eating KFC where I can change the size of chips freely. The entree is the best in this three. The dessert was finè . My drink gin with soda taste like gin with water but still good. the serves very nice. If I spend less than $100 to eat these things, I would give them four stars.

What a night. Our waitress Gabi was fantastic. Being our first time there she explained all the cuts to us. The food was amazing. There were a few of us tasting wagyu for the first time...omg! Fantastic. Our younger son had a wagyu cheeseburger. He said it was the best cheeseburger he has ever eaten!! To surprise our daughter with a special dessert for her 21st was also nice of them to do. It was interesting watching the chefs cook the meals behind the window. I would highly recommend Moo Moo 🥩😋

Loved it quality setting, menu & wine list. Food could not be faulted - being a 'Steak House' Steak was our choice for the main dish, but we also had some delightful starters, including dozen Oysters served traditionally, 6 Oysters / Bloody Mary, Bang Bang Duck & Scallops. 5 of us shared 3 delightful deserts, which were perfection. All washed down with beers 🍻 & a really great Spanish Rioja Crianza. We were served by a lovely Spanish waitress / sommelier who assisted & recommended some vineyards in Rioja, Spain, her hometown. We had 2 different steaks, both were fantastic. The waiter was lovely, the decor was as well. The music however did not match the restaurant, it sounded like you were in a night club but you are sitting in a fine dining restaurant, very loud as well making it difficult to talk.

I really enjoyed my dinner here. Very friendly staff. Nice vibe. The flat iron steak was a perfect medium. However, I feel the brussel sprouts was a bit undercooked. The core was still very hard. It would have been nice if it is roasted to caramelized.

Excellent business lunch. Excellent food. Incredible. Great service & quick for our 5 year old son to have some chips sent to him straight away. Music volume could have been lower :)

Indescribable how fantastic the food and service are. Definitely go again. Oysters to die for, amazing wine menu and the steak was melt in your mouth delicious. Can not wait to go again. Not cheap but worth it.

Wonderful Meals and the wine is incredible and well suited to the steak

For some quality steaks come to Moo Moo. We enjoyed a 600gm and 400gm steak between the three of us with some oysters to start and some sides. The food is top quality, and the chefs know how to cook to perfection. The Mac and cheese was a highlight, as were the Bloody Mary oysters! Moo moo is a family fave, and we’ll be back time and time again.

This was my 3rd time here and it never dissapoints. Both food and service were superb. A beautiful dinner to celebrate our anniversary, staff are very professional, well mannered and friendly, excellent steak portion sizes cooked to perfection it was delicious! Missing a star, as many items plus desserts were not available "due to covid". First time there, but we look forward to trying the rest of the menu on our next holiday and upping this review to 5 stars.

Service, staff, facilities and food were absolutely the best I've been to and had in a long time. Highly recommend this business and still talking about their steak.

I'll start with this place being WAY too over priced. My steak was 140 dollars and I've had a better scotch fillet that I've bought from Woolies in the discounted section. This place just isn't for me you don't get value for money. And you also don't get the best food you've ever tasted, it's just overpriced food that is nothing special. Would not recommend this place to anyone. The waiter was pushy, I told him I just want my steak medium rare and he kept saying no youll like it medium well done, don't tell me what I'll like. Took half an hour to bring me a beer. I give it 2 star because the oyster tempura was actually pretty dam good.

Mixed feelings about MooMoo. Service was slow, we were there 2 hrs - for lunch. So don’t expect a quick bite. Taste wise, I didn’t like my starter, bang bang duck, sauce was a bit sharp and meat chewy not crispy. The main food was delicious, the crispy potatoes were really good and of course the steak was cooked to perfection. Also, they advertise a lunch menu on their website but only bring it out if you ask for it! The menu is super expensive and I think there are better restaurants in Broadbeach.

It was our 1 Year Anniversary, we had a 5:30 pm reservation, honestly the best time to go! we got their and everything was quick and perfect timing, we thought streaks would at least come out 30 min - 1 hour! But nope like 10-20 minutes🤩 after entree which was perfect because we were hungry. We had the best waiter John- he was so helpful with what to choose and why, and was polite and he remembered small things we said, like we like to share food, and it was our anniversary 🤩 he was so helpful and very professional. The taste of the food was definitely worth the price best experience. 10 out of 10 I would Recommend and go back again.💯

What an absolutely beautiful lunch we had. Steak was cooked to perfection and the chicken so tasty. Sides also great especially the potatoes. Highly recommended. Great atmosphere with lovely staff.

Exquisite from start to finish. Oysters to start were creamy and the champagne vinaigrette was the most perfectly balanced I have had and did not overpower the flavour of the oysters. 2GR Cap Rump has unbelievable flavour and we set it off with some fries and the rocket salad which was a great balance. Finished with sticky date pudding which was delightfully light and a great finish. Service from Scott our waiter was lovely with lots of information about the food, how it is sourced and prepared. This restaurant is a cut above and quite a surprise to find in Gold Coast. It’s not a cheap eat but I think it was great value and definitely an experience not to miss if you have chance to go. Visited Moo Moo to celebrate my 40th birthday whilst visiting the GC. It had come recommended to us, and we can see why. Even though it was mid-week, the place was packed, which gave it a great energy. From the moment we were seated, we were well looked after by our waiter (I think it was Stefano - he had only started a few weeks ago). He went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience. We had some bread to start with - the Moo Moo Jus served with it was amazing. I didn't try the Pico De Gallo, but the other guests said it was good. The wine list was extensive - so definitely something to suit all tastes and price ranges. Stefano also look the time to show us all the cuts of meat, and explain the various marbling - he was also able to answer a few questions some of the guests had. For mains, we all had steaks - 2 tenderloins, a Flat Iron and Rump Cap - and everyone really enjoyed them. My medium-cooked tenderloin was perfect, and the bearnaise sauce spot-on. We had sides of wagyu fat fried potatoes (amazing), wedge salad, young carrots and seasonal greens. Probably one of the best meals I've had in a long time. We finished off with coffees, affogato, and port, which was a perfect end to the meal. If you are looking for somewhere special for a meal out with your partner or good friends, Moo Moo is the place to go. Will definitely revisit on our next trip to the GC.

Our wait staff, Val, was absolutely amazing, he was extremely attentive, very knowledgeable, assisted with the menu and wine selection and continuously made us feel special throughout our entire meal. I didn't get around to arranging anything for my friends birthday, and the staff still brought her a special dessert birthday treat. We did leave a tip for Val, hopefully he receives it. I had booked this restaurant for dinner during our stay in the Gold Coast. Music was a little bit loud but venue ambience was good! We selected the MooMoo signature dish. Service was great and the waiter knew the menu and assisted with any queries we had. Food was delicious and MORE than enough being a 1kg Wagyu Rump. Definitely want to dine again and try the other steaks

Best streak hands down, pricey but worth it. Wine and side dishes were good pairing but too small portions.

I spent the night here with a few girlfriends and the whole experience was absolutely impeccable! From the moment we entered the venue the lovely staff were very attentive and ensured we were comfortable at the bar with a glass of wine whilst we were waiting for our table (we were early). Our waiter Alan was top tier. His extensive knowledge of the menu pairing all of our food with gorgeous wine, he really made our experience so memorable I will be bringing all my family and friends back here for multiple visits. Nice to see some quality restaurants on the Gold Coast!

This place is awesome! The atmosphere is chill and cool. The staff are so friendly remembering everyone’s name. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about. Food was outstanding 👌 but don't get the Moo Moo Signature as it's far too much meat. Spend similar on an aged steak and you'll be way more satisfied. The sides, salads and waygu fat cooked potatoes were legendary

From the second we entered the service was on point. Seated at the bar while waiting for our table to be prepared. Engaging conversation with the bar tenders. Initiated by them while they made our first drinks. Knowledge of our waiter impressive. Drink menu is excellent, high end liquor used for cocktails. Wine menu is outrageously good. However would like to see a small Belgian beer selection for the non wine drinkers. High malt beers paired with steak can be incredible. Onto the food. We ordered, stone baked bread, onion rings, the Provolone Melt, wagyu fat potatoes and creamy mash. Provolone melt was the winner. For the steak I usually eat a tenderloin as it is my favourite cut, but upon the waiters recommendation I went for the Wagye Rump Cap MB 6 or 7. The most succulent steak I have ever eaten, so tender for a while I didn't realise I was using a butter knife to cut it with no issues. Paired with the MOO JUS sauce it was phenomenal. I'd give 4.5 stars if Google allowed only because I had to send back the mash because it was cold, new plate came out and was lukewarm 😔. But Google only allows full stars and I'd say they were much closer to 5 than 4

If you like quality steak, this place is for you. Dare I say it, I enjoyed it more in one sitting then the 15* times I’ve eaten at Rockpool in Melbourne. The service is wonderful, the steaks were tender, the cocktails very fresh and yes, it’s even atmospheric. A couple of points lost on the amount of cumin put into the chimichuri sauce but the chocolate fondant made up for it! Exceeded my expectations

Me and my partner went for our dinner date here and it was absolutely amazing. We had the special scotch fillet and the wagyu Chuck rump and the scotch fillet melted in my mouth. It’s a bit pricey. We spent $270 including dessert which isn’t too bad. Def check out if in Gold Coast. Also our server gave really good service.

Long waiting! Food was really good! We weren’t disappointed by the flavours! Service was ok, when they gave us any.... We waited around 20 minutes for drinks order, 40 minutes for entrees, and 1 hour waiting for mains. Way too long when you are pregnant and just want to have some food haha

All dishes we ordered were wonderful. It’s the best Steak house in GC. Just not recommended to seat outside before get dark because birds on the trees are very loud.

Came here for a drink and couldn’t leave soon enough. The staff were just weird and rude, not welcoming at all. Avoid and go somewhere better.

Expensive but great quality food

Best steak in Australia! My partner and I ordered the Japanese wagyu and were overwhelmed with the quality of the steak. It melted in our mouths and was cooked to perfection! Don't order the 3 sides they are huge portions they were delicious and we couldn't eat it all lol Would visit again and could care less about the high price tag, we couldn't be happier :)

Our host Kyle was fabulous as was our waiter Reg. The food was sensational, possibly the best rump steak ever. The wine selection is fabulous. The sides were equally amazing. There was a large group of us and everyone shares my sentiments. Beautiful restaurant and exceptional food. Definitely be back.

One of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a while. Although there is a set menu due to COVID there were still plenty of options within it. It also represents exceptional value & the quality of food was excellent. Service was attentive without being intrusive and our meals delicious. Highly recommend.

The best steaks in the world

The steak and the house Shiraz were exceptional while the price was fair. We ordered 3 different steaks and they were all brilliant and differently tasty. :) although the deco and furniture were little bit old.
