Our visit to Seascape Restaurant was absolutely delightful! The restaurant has a beautiful ocean view that sets the perfect ambiance for a memorable meal. As for the food, it was nothing short of amazing. We tried the steak and octopus dishes, and both left us impressed. To complement our meal, we enjoyed some of their expertly crafted cocktails. Last but not least the staff were all very polite.

Where do I start ! I’m from Potts Point Sydney so I’ve had my fair share of fine dining experiences but let me just say … what a surprise the GC has been holding out on us .. this restaurant is a pearl in the otherwise blah GC dining scene … the food was exceptional from the starters to the main course you will not be disappointed! I thoroughly recommend the scallops to start my husband had the bisque then the lobster & I had the most delicious lasagne I may have ever eaten …. no words !!! The staff were extremely attentive & our waiter Corey was a stand out at our beck & call without being intrusive a true professional ! Anyone visiting the GC would be remiss in not making a reservation. Literally can’t find fault here & that’s a first !

The foods and the cocktails does not match the price of it. I can list out all of the point that can support my point of view. For example, the deep fried calamari is so soggy and oily, and the risotto is oily lack of flavor plus overcooked. Also, the pasta is so spicy but lack of flavor and the pasta is swimming in oil ocean. Secondly, the cocktails tastes very chemical. I personally thought somebody served me out of the laboratory. Overall, the foods are extremely salty and oily and the drinks taste weird.( I don’t know how can u messed up cocktails, it’s really hard to taste like rubbish.) PLUS!!! Everything is overpriced!!! Don’t even think Gordon Ramsay could save this restaurant. I will never come back😉~

Our unforgettable experience at Seascape Restaurant & Bar extended beyond culinary excellence. While initially aiming for a three-course dinner, a delightful detour led us to the lunch menu, expertly recommended by our gracious waitress and the owner. The seafood platter and grilled garlic lobster were a symphony of flavors, a culinary masterpiece that left us marveling. The portions were so generous that, despite our best efforts, my husband and I couldn't finish everything—we were blissfully full. Seascape truly delivers value for money, making every savory moment and breathtaking view worth the indulgence. A resounding 10/10 recommendation for an experience that seamlessly blends gastronomic delight with unmatched ambiance.

The food was so fresh and delicious, the cocktails were incredible but the absolute highlight was the absolutely delight of a waitress!! The lovely girl who went out of her way to make my night so special. It is my birthday and she shared the same birthday (2nd Jan) and when she found out she made our experience extra special. Next time I am back in QLD I will be coming back! Thank you lovely girl and happy birthday ❤️

I will say the food was exceptional, and the waitstaff were lovely, but I had several staff wait on me, which in fine dinning, you expect the ne waiter. The gentleman who greeted me was rolling his eyes at me as I was asking about the difference between the two floors and treated me as though I was a nuisance. I don't think I would hurry back, but that chef and a different host, would have been a perfect review.

We went to Seascape tonight. We were a bit disappointed. For my wife’s birthday we got a lobster dish. The taste was lovely, but the portion was smaller than expected for the $70 price tag. Similarly, the grilled fish had a very small portion. We requested mashed potato instead of the standard chips, but they were unable to accommodate our request. Customer service wasn’t too bad.

I can't wait to bring my family back to this wonderful seafood paradise. I went with friends and we couldn't have enough of curry prawns, coconut rice, chowder and that warm freshly baked bread. The cocktails were refreshing too, the atmosphere so relaxing with the sea breeze and staff very friendly. What else could we ask for?

I had a last minute work trip to the Gold Coast and was after some tasty seafood. The manager managed to squeeze me in upstairs in the restaurant, above their bistro dining. The ambience and views are lovely. The restaurant very popular, it quickly filled up. The staff were attentive and lovely. The food was fresh and cooked to perfection. They were offering a 2 or 3 course à la carte menu with plenty of options to suit all. The tempura asparagus was a recommendation and was a highlight. My scallops cooked to perfection. Upstairs is perfect for that special dinner and the bistro was pumping with families ans casual diners.

We had an amazing lunch and the service was excellent. Just be aware that you will pay a 10% surcharge on a Sunday and $10 for still water (they don’t tell you they charge you for it). The lobster roll was the highlight, and they do a delicious Bloody Mary also!

My wife and I, We spent our 1st Wedding Anniversary at Seascape and the experience was great!! We got a nice table with a beautiful view over the sea (big thanks to Manuel for this), delicious food (Prawns Spaghetti and Creme Brulee) and very good service from Beatriz. Special thanks to great Eddy who made us feel special from the start, beginning with a warm welcome and finishing with a nice Limoncello!! 😎✌️ 5 well deserved stars to these guys!!

We met some friends here for dinner and had a lovely table by the window overlooking the beach. We all ordered the seafood platters with Moreton bay bugs which came out on a double stand and looked very impressive. Seafood was lovely and fresh and there was plenty of food but if you're after salad make sure you order it separately as it doesn't come with the platter. The staff were all very nice, the only issue was that after comprehensively explaining an anaphylactic allergy and the waitress assuring us they would leave it off completely, she still brought out sauces containing the allergen and didn't mention it to us when the food was delivered. Fortunately we were vigilant and double checked with the kitchen which avoided an annoying trip to the hospital!

This was my partner’s & my first visit here Absolutely loved ! From arriving at the door we had a friendly reception and the friendly service just flowed on from there…we had garlic prawns, fish n chips (bougeed), ragu pork gnocchi….all fabulous and fresh! And the wines are reasonably priced. But the view is just splendid! Unless you enjoy walking then it’s paid parking underneath We will definitely be returning

Our recent dining experience at Seascape Restaurant & Bar left us with mixed feelings. Opting for the seafood platter with lobster, we also indulged in a side of four dozen oysters – half of them prepared Kilpatrick-style. Additionally, we ordered some grilled scallops to round out the meal. While the staff exhibited a wonderful sense of hospitality and the venue itself exuded a pleasant ambiance, we were somewhat disappointed by the meal's overall quality, especially considering the cost. The seafood platter, featuring luxurious elements like lobster and oysters, failed to fully deliver on flavor and satisfaction. Despite this culinary setback, the staff's graciousness and the restaurant's inviting atmosphere were definitely noteworthy. Seascape Restaurant & Bar has the potential to be a fantastic destination, and we hope that the kitchen can work on refining their dishes to better align with the overall experience.

Had dinner at this restaurant, we had the main size sashimi, crab shelled pasta with prawn and fish of the day which was snapper in this case. Overall the portions for sashimi was quite small for main size and the pasta was spicy and probably needed a bit more flavour so could be better. The service overall is okay but would have appreciated to have the waitress top up water without asking. Atmosphere was good and it's a good location with ambience near the beach.

Nice views atmosphere and good service Would not go back because the food is sub par for the price and some dishes say they have some ingredients but fails to deliver

The only reason behind my low rating is because of the Service we received. We had a reservation at 7:30 for a table of 3 (2 year old toddler included). We were there at 7:15 and the staff simply said “wait on the side, table is not ready” without saying any further word. But all other customers behind us in the queue were greeted with a smile and immediately ushered in. After taking the seat, we had to request the staff to take our orders and share the menu card, while all other tables beside us was being attended without any delay. And then we see a family of 4 walking in with two young kids, and they must be knowing the restaurant manager in person, he was all smile for them and personally ushering them towards their seat and looking at their comfort. This made us feel unwanted and unwelcomed because of our ethnicity. Food was great and definitely a must visit. My only recommendation to the owner is to train the staffs properly to make every guest feel welcomed

Was disappointed they added a $20 tip without asking. I wouldn't mind, but on this occasion, a waiter dropped wine glasses behind me that shattered glass on back of my legs, and on the table. Then for dessert I ordered a gf one stating clearly it needs to be gf, and when it comes out, waiter said "oh I forgot, you can eat that, but not that (garnish is wheat), this does not work for a coeliac who cannot eat traces/gluten." What balls to ask for a tip. And stupid me paid it.

The seafood was nice overall. The Grilled Lobster was over cooked however. Atmosphere is exactly what it is, a Bistro. Not so impressed that they take the drinks away without it being finished so you order more. I had 3 Vodka and sodas. They were way too eager to take the glass away even when it was not finished. Staff are friendly. But will not be in a hurry to come back here.

The best event/lunch I’ve had in many years for the Pacific Airshow. Will definitely be back in 2024 ! Our lunch was Superb ! Six stars if that were possible . Service impeccable six stars again. Special shout outs to Frank the Maître d who changed our sitting from 2 pm to 12.15 pm because of my parents age. Manuel from Sicily outstanding along with Raphael (another Italian gentleman) it truly was the best lunch/occasion. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We enjoyed our lunch at The Bistro so much we returned a couple of days later for dinner. Prices are very reasonable and a bit quieter being on the first floor. You get a lovely view of the ocean day and night. Loved my chicken and their garden salad is delicious! Hubby had fish and chips which was a large serve! At night the Sirloin Steak was cooked exactly as ordered and my Ribs were WOW yum! Our waitress Laura was so friendly as were all the staff. Will definitely return again when in Surfers. Simply beautiful.

Hubby and I celebrated our wedding anniversary hearing about the amazing quality of seafood. Well, it did not disappoint. The seafood platter we shared paired with an incredible wine was the best seafood I have ever had. Fresh, good quality, locally caught. Couldn't have had a better experience. Not to mention the staff were super friendly and helpful with such attention to detail. We ate in the bistro which had ocean views was so romantic.

Bit of a price tag but overall nice food and great atmosphere. We went for lunch and were seated outside with a nice beach view. Weird vibe from the waitress - she seemed a bit arrogant. Immediately blamed another waiter for a “messy” table although we couldn’t see anything wrong with it. Overall, she was nice to us but it made us a little uncomfortable as the first interaction we had was her blaming someone else. Prices for food and drinks were a little expensive but we really enjoyed the view and beach atmosphere. I was a little discouraged when the food arrived but it actually turned out being a lot more food than it looked. The salad was REALLY good. It was seasoned excellently with not too much dressing - probably the best side salad I have ever had. I got the fish and chips and my partner got the fisherman’s basket and we were both very full by the end of our meals.

Love the venue, the beachfront view, the dining atmosphere in the evening is very nice. More importantly the service was brilliant, admittedly I didn't book but we were well looked after. Love the oyster shots! Highly recommend.

Went to dinner at the bistro based off the online menu offerings and I have to say, it was an excellent decision. The restaurant itself has a nice position overlooking the esplanade and onto the beach and is simply, but elegantly set up. Going there with a friend, we ordered the fresh bread and I had the main size prawn and crab tagliatelle, while my friend ordered two entree-sized meals - the tempura prawn and the calamari - with a side of fries. Neither of us ended up being able to completely finish our meals but only because the servings were so very generous! Each dish was well balanced and executed and we were both sorry we couldn't manage to eat it all. I ordered the one cocktail, the Three Ps in a Pod, and it was a delightfully fruity and flavourful drink - excellent balance between sweet and tart. The service was also excellent - Mirna, our server, was friendly, attentive and lovely to chat with. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an elegant meal out in Surfer's Paradise.

Visited Seascape recently for an anniversary dinner and were blown away by the location, the food and the service. The staff were warm and friendly, a very professional team who know their food and wine. The view over the beach is perfect for a restaurant focussed on seafood and makes this a very classy spot for a meal. We had the Chef's tasting menu for two, which at $89 pp was incredibly good value considering the quality of the whole experience. The portions are smaller, but there's quite a few of them, and this is all about flavour rather than size. We were comfortably full at the end of the meal. All the seafood was clearly very fresh, from the bright tangy Coffin Bay oysters through to probably the best Barramundi I've had anywhere. The menu consisted of oysters, cured tuna and salmon with amazing house made wasabi which packed a great sting, delicious Alaskan scallops and aforementioned Barra with crispy skin and incredible delicate, creamy texture. Since I'm allergic to prawns, alas, the chef skipped the Bouillabaisse and conjured up the finest piece of grilled Atlantic salmon - I don't normally care for cooked salmon but this was close to being the star of the show, delicate flavour, and just cooked to perfection with a nice little array of sides to complement the flavours. We had huge smiles on our faces with every course, the food was so well presented, perfectly timed and everything just so impressive. Somebody is obviously working very hard behind the scenes to purchase such high-grade ingredients, and hats off to the kitchen team, it's been a while since I was so impressed with this level of cooking. I have to admit - with the Surfers location I was tempted to think "tourist trap" and did not expect too much, but in reality this is the best seafood I've had, not just on the Gold Coast, but anywhere in recent times. Book ahead as they were quite busy with people who are evidently in the know, but highly recommend Seascape for a special occasion or just a fantastic seafood experience with very reasonable prices for this level of quality. Entry to the restaurant was initially a bit tricky but look for the escalators in the arcade beneath the adjacent Hurricanes Grill.

This was my first time back after 2 years and some parts of it were fantastic and some of them were dreadful. The seafood chowder is not what it used to be, it now reminds me of a bowl of Campbell's chunky soup filled with carrots and 2 prawns...that's it. It used to be beautiful American style chowder the last time I was there. Also, the waitresses don't seem to have very good listening skills. We ordered a Jack Daniels with Coke and the drink arrived with just the Jack Daniels with some ice and then when I told the woman that the Coke was missing she didn't seem to understand was "Coke" was - it took me 6 times to say it before I had to add the word 'cola'....she then said her English wasn't good and couldn't understand what I was saying. If you do head there though, I highly recommend the lamb shoulder and if you enjoy sushi, the sashmi was beautiful.

I don't often give 5 stars, but this is an exception. We splurged out on the seafood platter for two and can I tell you it was sensational. The seafood was so fresh to begin with, and the cooked dishes were done to perfection. The baked snapper was a highlight, tender and juicy and it's a hard fish to cook right. All in all, highly recommended.

Good location and great view. Most food is great. Mocktail for kids is too expensive in my opinion. Seafood is good and I love the seafood chowder. The only thing is the chef need to learn why is medium rare. The thing they made for my daughter is nearly well done.

We went last night to celebrate a family member's birthday, and the food and service were terrific. Everything we had for our entrés and mains tasted delicious. I had the Lobster and it was perfectly cooked. It wasn't overcooked or dry. If you want great seafood while you're at Surfers Paradise - this is the place to go.

Seascape Restaurant & Bar is an elegant beachfront destination offering a bistro & a fine dining, seafood option with ocean views on the Gold Coast. For the entrees, the duck and mushroom risotto was deliciously rich and the oysters were fresh and tasted like the ocean. The lobster and blue swimmer crab lasagne was cooked to perfection and broth of the pernod bouillabaisse was extremely flavoursome. Overall, the portions sizes were generous and the quality of food was superb - I will definitely be coming back to Seascape!

Wow, if your looking for an amazing seafood experience while staying in Surfers Paradise Seascape is the place for you. The seafood is fresh and deliciously flavorsome, I guarantee you will not be disappointed. We went back todays later and had the seafood platter for two with Moreton Bay bugs wow so fresh and unbelievably good.

We have been waiting for 2 years to be able to return to this magnificent venue for another wonderful culinery experience. We booked our Valentines dinner and we were not disappointed. The staff were attentive and made us feel special. The seafood was of the utmost quality and prepared with love. The cocktails were amazing and left us wanting more. I cannot wait to return......

Kinda of racist😅Fake smile and bad services The attitude of the manager makes me feel uncomfortable from the start to the end.. Arrogant instead of in polite ways, quite unbelievable. He was the only one with no smile while talking, serving or working. Don’t know why it takes 10 minutes before we were severed to order while the waitress serving new customers and also others. He just hung around but ignored us. It’s the first time went there so don’t know that should write window seats instead of outside seats to get better view…(BTW, we were given indoor seats anyway) We asked for a change as some customers seating by the window checked out but refused. Don’t know how they arranged table but these two factors let us decided to leave. Then we requested to get the deposit for booking back. Being asked why wanna to leave, I explained but was interrupted. Anyone would consider it was impolite!! What you should do is to reflect instead of stopping me talking. Maybe that’s part of the reason why its neighbour needs to wait 90 minutes to be seated while this restaurant still haves quite a few seats at 6:30pm. If anyone wanna enjoy the seafood, ocean view and vibe atmosphere, I would definitely recommend other restaurants nearby or downstairs.

Delish! We had the 2 course menu in the restaurant. It was so tasty and we were too full for dessert. I recommended getting the tempura asparagus as a side.

Warning: ROTTEN FOOD is served. I was there on 30 January 2024, having dinner with my family. I ordered steamed vegetables for myself - when the dish came, literally half of it was served rotten. I only ordered some steamed greens and the bok choy leaves on the plate were absolutely disguising (they were already steamed rotten) and were hidden on the bottom of the plate under other greens. The bok choy leaves were yellow - I am very surprised the chef did not bother to look at the quality/freshness of the food he was making for a customer. I would not even buy produce like that from a grocery shop, let alone steam and serve it. The waiter took the dish away (no apology) and after a very long time, brought me a replacement dish which was looking fresher. While the restaurant calls it steamed vegetables, there were other hidden flavours/oils added in the dish, disregarding my specific dietary request. The waiter just lied straight in the face with a fake smile that there was nothing else added, regardless the fact that I could taste other flavours and old oil in my food. Mind you our bill was around $250. Very disappointing. NOT recommended.
