The service is painfully slow but the food we ordered was delicious. Having lunch next to the water was an amazing experience.

Amazing service with friendly staff. Ordered two rump steaks, got it to perfection medium rare! Highly recommend it if you’re around the area.. neatly tucked away with water views.

Pricey place but food is great. Seafood basket had loads of everything. Crumbed and fried in a speedy manner. View is amazing with waterfront seats. Jetski go in and out of the dock. Total BS the yuge tabasco is not for sale.

We were really keen to try this place for a nice night out for dinner as others had posted great reviews. We ordered medium well steaks. The first time they came out they were blue-rare. We asked the kitchen to please cook them longer. 5 mins later they came back out no better. The staff also were not friendly or overly helpful when sorting this issue. The steak was still inedible and such a waste of food. We ended up walking out and leaving the food behind. To say we were disappointed is an understatement.

We booked a table for 6. One main meal was ready as the starters arrived. 15 min later 3 more mains were ready. After about another 1/2 hour wait we enquired about the ETA for the 2 remaining meals. We were told the were 2 minutes away....15-20 min later they arrived. One of which was ordered as a medium rare steak, that came out as very well done, so we had to return it. 20 or so min later the final meal came out, and was made very awkward as he tried to eat it quickly, as 2 of our group had to leave. Long story short, we were booked for 7:30, arrived on time and ordered quickly, first meal came out at about 7:45, and last meal was about 9:00.

Far and away the best meal on Gold Coast in 10 days holiday. My companion has meat allergies and the 2 chefs went out of their way to cater for her needs with a whole NZ snapper cooked to perfection and delicious veggies. My steak was sensational too and the manager Chloe is a real asset to the business. If I lived on Gold Coast I would be there all the time.

Large establishment. Good variety of food. On Monday-Tuesday great value meals (Steak, Chicken Schnitzel or Fish… with chips and salad) with any purchase from the bar…. A bit cold after dark mid winter… hoping they light the open fire soon

Disappointing. We went there on 28/12/2021 for lunch with our son, daughter-in-law and our 3 young grandchildren, anticipating a nice seafood meal close to the water. We thought it had to be good. After ordering we waited 45 minutes and the meals had not arrived. So I went up and politely asked if there was some sort of problem. We were told another 5 minutes. Nearly 15 minutes later the meals arrived. They looked nice. The fish appeared to be cooked well and the chips were a good colour. But upon eating we discovered that everything was quite dried out. The fish was chewy and fell into dry fragments on my plate. The chips required a drink of water to help get them down. My son's chicken wings were tasteless and totally mediocre. When I turned to the side-salad I found the main ingredient was carrot. I also found 2 rotten pieces of lettuce in it. I also found my interactions with the staff were not uplifting. No smiles, no enthusiasm. My son summed it up. "Give this joint one star and don't come back". So we left the bustling joint imagining that maybe the beer was superb there. Or something.

We had lunch here today. There were five of us. We were told there was a half hour delay when we ordered. I think our order was lost as when we checked on our order ( after waiting for well over an hour) it couldn't be found & the girl had to reprint our order out again for the kitchen. 15 minutes later, our meals arrived. Stone cold. I know it was really busy today but something went seriously wrong in that kitchen today. In all fairness, we were given a full refund.

Firstly, I would like to bring to your attention that the dish used for serving may not be the most appropriate choice due to concerns regarding food safety and cross-contamination. I kindly suggest that alternative dishware be considered for future use. Furthermore, it is imperative that proper training is provided to all kitchen staff regarding the handling of raw seafood to prevent cross-contamination and ensure the highest level of food safety. This should include education on the correct use of gloves when handling raw seafood and the importance of following strict hygiene practices. In summary, I urge that proactive measures be taken to ensure that all food handling and safety protocols are strictly followed to prevent any potential health risks to your customers. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Tavern on the water. Awesome venue for lunches with the family. Water level among the yachts on the broadwater. Its not kids friendly due to its location on the water. The venue does have the usual pokies and gaming. Pool table and outside patio area. Massive bar and undercover dining when weather is bad. Wheelchair friendly. Portions are big. Lots of seagulls, please note.

Appetizer soft shell crab is delicious, just bit salty. But there is local standard taste. Environment also nice to taking photos

Food was relatively expensive, but the portions were quite large. Nice views from the balcony and a good place for a quick drink and snack.

The food was terrible, very dry and bad tasting, and it needed to be alleviated by drinking lots of water. The two pasta dishes were tasteless, and the steak was succulent and badly cooked. The fries were completely over-fried and barely changed when we asked the waiter to redo them. I think I could cook better at home with my eyes closed. Oyster and the garlic bread were the only things that taste good. I'm disappointed that a restaurant that only goes for speed and doesn't care about food at all, won't be coming back.

Dinner tonight was at Fisherman’s Wharf Tavern. Between the three of us we had jalapeño poppers, garlic bread, fish and chips, grilled barramundi, and a rump steak. All the dishes were excellent. The staff were friendly but I wouldn’t say there was service, certainly not at the table. But the view over the water and the Surfers’ skyline was spectacular.

Really enjoyed this place. Tips- it’s all self seduce , table, ordering at front, getting food, utensils etc . Pros - good value, freshness of seafood, service.

Although the food was a bit expensive, it was delicious and was presented beautifully. It’s a great location on the water and gives great views at night.

The place has a view of the river and the city, and the food is also very good, especially the sea food. But yesterday the quality of the food was not the usual quality. Cleanliness is good, service is good, prices are quite good

Nice place on the water good location well presented. However the way it’s organised is a thumbs down for me as you have to both order and collect your meals. Can’t stand that. Additionally the food was basic (but good) and they were out of fresh oysters and prawns. So overall nice place but don’t expect an amazing meals, you get a good one that’s enjoyable but nothing to write home about
