Really lovely place for a quick bite, drink or a full meal. What I enjoyed most about Mecca Bah was the friendliness of the staff, coupled with the atmosphere it made it very warm and inviting. The food and drinks were lovely and I would dine here again.

Food was great. But unfortunately the service was a little too rude for my liking. Cancelled our coffee order that never came. Tried to be patient, but it was a little much for me and the waitress began to backchat me. She seemed annoyed that I was wanting it cancelled after 25 minutes of waiting and watching the bartenders just clean glasses. Even though the restaurant is quiet, there is an expectation of quality service. Lots of love to the chefs, and to the other lovely waitress who was present though. 😘

From the outside it looks very stereotypical but once you engage with their staffs it was pretty warm place to spend your dinner time with your friends or family. Food is good but honestly if we would say this place is great restaurant rather than claiming it ad one of GC’s best place as the Middle Eastern restaurant. We love the vibe, the staffs, the food, but we want more authentic foods!

The rice(pelov) wasn’t soft and properly steamed and cooked. The chicken was alright, the lamb had a tasty pomegranate graze but dry. Also overpriced but the portions of meat platter was good to serve 3 people at least.

The food gets a five star. Absolutely delicious. We had a high tea and everything was out of this world. Nice to have parking close by also. Good place to have a large group celebrate. Little bit hard to flag down staff for some extras. They were helpful once we had their attention. Nice location and nice decor.

Overall great experience. The staff were very accommodating, especially when we have little ones. The food is fantastic, but i think we ordered too much 😄. The signature platter was the highlight. The location is great, centre to Broadbeach.

Friday night dating. Calamari is good. Lamb and chicken kebab are good but 2 for 42 dollars!!😥 A little expensive. Food is good but just think it is not worth it.

Yum! Food full of flavour, service great! There was a relaxed atmosphere and we really appreciated the comfy seating! Only downside is it’s pretty pricey, especially the cocktails but I’d still come back on special occasions as it’s worth it.

Food was really good although everything else was just a bit sloppy. Wine delivered to table dripping down the glass, waiting at the front to be greeted for some time with no “hi, we will be with you shortly’, table rocky and staff just super slow. I asked for a dessert menu and the same lady then proceeded to walk past the table 3-4 times and didn’t come back and ask. Ended up missing the dessert and leaving. Overall good food but Everything else was just a bit sloppy and disappointing.

The food here is amazing! Some of the best meat on the Gold coast! The lamb cutlets were so tender and had Soo much flavour as well as the skewers. The roasted potatoes and tabouli were great as well. The place was very accommodating for children as well with a kids menu and the atmosphere perfect!

Birthday dinner celebration with some friends last night. Our server was amazing and the food was incredible!! Highly recommend getting as many share plates as possible because it’s all soooo delicious. Lamb pizza was so tender and fresh, spice meatballs were yummy but very condensed so a lot to eat. Potato’s were a great side and the halloumi was amazing. Chicken tahini was a winner too, so many more dishes I’d love to try. Mojitos were pretty good too! Only downside was that it could be difficult to get servers attention at times.

The vibe was great, loved the decor and setting of this restaurant. We ordered the cauliflower starter which was really nice. For our mains we ordered the lamb and chicken skewers. The chicken and lamb were both dry and chewy. The rice was still hard and undercooked, could have done with more steam time. The tabbouleh was also disappointing, it was soggy and swimming in juice.

TLDR; Fattoush Fail and Slow Service: Lebanese Restaurant Disappoints. Our hopes were high when we walked into the Lebanese restaurant, but unfortunately, the experience was a letdown. The green hummus dip, which was part of the trio, was as unappealing as it sounds. The real tragedy, though, was the fattoush salad - a Lebanese staple that was missing basic ingredients like dried mint and sumac, and instead had rock-hard croutons. We were also disappointed with the coriander-heavy rice that came with the decent chicken kebabs. The only saving grace was the fluffy Turkish bread and the delicious smashed potatoes. Moreover, the service didn't quite match up to the busy start. As the night wore on, we noticed the chefs had run out of steam, and the food started to trickle out of the kitchen. We waited a bit too long for our main course, which was a tad frustrating. Overall, we found the experience mediocre and unworthy of a second visit. The rating of 6/10 reflects our disappointment.

My partner and I have dined at Mecca Bah a couple of times now and it’s been great each time. Both times we have ordered the platter which is just perfect for the both of us, we also add a side of salad for more variation. The platter comes with different meats such as chicken kebab, lamb kebab, lam cutlets and beef ribs and some breads and sauces which are just delicious. They have a good selection of drinks and cocktails too which are also great! Atmosphere is nice and upbeat and staff have always been attentive.

My partner and I booked for 730pm on a Wednesday night, and by 815pm they had all the furniture packed up around us, banging and crashing, ruining any chance of a relaxing meal. I asked what time they close, which apparently was 9pm. The response was that if she didn't get the staff to help her pack up now, she'd be there doing it on her own. Very disappointing to a night we were looking forward to. On a positive note, the meat platter was delicious.

My Husband and I are here two weeks ago while we were on holidays and it was a great experience. Our entrees were excellent and a good portion, our mains were great and quick to come out. The food was also delicious with flavour! We went on a really packed night so the staff were really busy but that is at every restaurant you go to. Next time we visit we're definitely going again :)

Beautiful food, every single dish we had was delicious. Although we had to wait quite some time to get a table, the service is really fast and the staff are friendly & welcoming.

AMAZING FOOD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND SHARING MANY DISHES The food was so tasty and flavourful. Because there are so many delicious dishes, it’s definitely best to order many smaller plates to share between people. Staff were lovely and attentive and there was a large range of both food and drinks on the menu. only small issues were: 1. kitchen closed at 9 - we did have a late booking though 2. not heaps of bread with dips (that’s nitpicking though and you are able to order more)

Had some great food here on Friday night. Highly recommended if you are in a group to try a few dishes from the starter section. The lamb was my favourite. Also really good service

Worst waitressing ive witnessed in my life

Went there for lunch, very overpriced. Portion very small for the price! One chicken kebab with some rice and tabouleh for $30! Food was good but nothing special that I couldn’t get cheaper at a different restaurant. Wouldn’t go there again.

Staff are soooo friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming enhanced by music at an appropriate volume. The food was divine and the waitress’s recommendations were a delightful combo. Highly recommended.

Great spot for a middle-eastern/mediterranean dining experience. Not the most traditional I've had but the menu is flavourful and the cocktails are great. The restaurant itself wasn't as nice as its Brisbane counterpart but it was still an inviting and relaxing setting with polite and prompt service.

Was fabulous to be able to order some authentic middle eastern food. The sig other had the octopus. Said it was some of the best he had ever had. I had the borek. Wasnt the same as I was used to. But good none the less. The coffee and baklava was amazing. Staff friendly and attentive. I will go back for sure.

The food would get 4-5 stars. However, the ratio of quality to quantity doesn't justify the prices for simple lunch. I'd say the place is ridiculously overpriced for what is provided. The service is acceptable but definitely lacking attentiveness, considering the place was nearly empty.

Came here after seeing the beef rib on the menu, ordered two platters. The beef rib tastes really nice, the lamb and chicken kebabs are tasty too. The lamb cutlets where OK, but not my cup of tea. Atmosphere is great, nice location and friendly staff.

Went there for Mother's Day lunch with 14 people. Excellent service by Maria and matched by excellent and delicious food. Maria was very gracious and friendly and really made our day special. The food was great and did not have to wait long despite it being a full restaurant. Definitely recommended for large or small groups. We'll be back. 😊

Love the vibe of the restaurant it’s very spacious with both indoor and outdoor seating. They have an expansive menu with lots of sharing plates. Since I was dining on my own I stick to a main dish of chicken, CPU’s cups and flat bread. I liked the flavours, chicken was tender and overall filling. I think it was lacking a bit of salt and spice however still a yum dish. I also had a lovely mocktail that was perfectly sweet. I got to use the eat club app at this restaurant and get 25% off my bill so my drink ended up free.

Can't fault this place. The food was amazing and the service was awesome. Excellent location too. So hard to choose which dishes to have as they all sounded so delicious - and they were! Perfect for sharing

As a Moroccan familiar with Middle Eastern cuisine, my visit to Mekkah Bah was very disappointing. The food lacked authentic flavors, the service was inattentive, and the prices were steep. The overall atmosphere added to the disappointment. Unfortunately, this experience didn't meet expectations based on positive reviews.

We had a banquet menu with 3 main choices for 6 people. The food was absolutely delicious, their cocktails were great. Staff members are very attentive and friendly. •Trio dip: all 3 dips are fantastic, you can taste they are made with fresh, good quality ingredients, the house bread was delicious. •Beef ribs: pulling apart and juicy, comes with the best sweet potato chips, so good! •Chicken kebabs: great, the rice comes with is really delicious, the texture is great as Al Dante. •Squid: amazing! Broccolini was so juicy and crunchy, it’s bedded on couscous and some sort of purée- so delicious. •lamb pizza: kids loved them •dessert was Baklavas & Turkish delight: goooood! It was a great value for money and the portions were perfect as we were full and took away the left overs. We will be back for more, thank you very much for the great experience and the service.

Dips and chicken wing entree exceptional. My calamari main very nice. Wasn't impressed with the chicken targine. Needed seasoning many little bones. I know cooking on the bone adds flavour to the dish. But some of these bones were very tiny. Staff very friendly

Rude and extremely unwelcoming staff. Pretty sure we were “greeted” by the owner when we walked in on Wednesday night and didn’t even get a hello out of her. Just a “do you have a booking” and a point to the sign on the door telling us to check in. Uncomfortable from the get-go. Onto the food, highly disappointing. Chicken was tasteless, meals were severely underwhelming. Don’t recommend.

Had the 3 course meal, main dishes were delicious, however entrees were a little small (comes on one plate). Definitely get the pork ribs - AMAZING. Nice place for a date. Lychee shared cocktail was a treat.

Came here with a girlfriend for my birthday weekend and we had a great lunch. Food was beautiful, had the chicken skewers and a lamb entree. Couldn’t fault it at all. The place was beautiful and the cocktails were also good. Wild definetley come back in a heartbeat

Great food (the meatballs were definitely a fave) plus a great selection of wines. Great location with an awesome vibe!

Wow. The food was amazing! Yum! We wish the staff explained the menu better. We ordered a bottle of prosecco: what we got was not what was listed but we were told they only list one on the menu but there are a few different types. We ended up paying $48 for that bottle instead of the listed $38. The food was well worth price and for the taste alone we would return!

Absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked meals (and a fantastic lychee cocktail), accompanied by wonderful service from our lovely waitress.

My partner and I ate here recently - fabulous food, fantastic service. An exquisite dining experience - highly recommend giving Mecca Bah a shot if you’re in the area! Also, really close to the beach to walk it off when you’re done.

We arrived a busy Saturday evening without a booking and were lucky to get a table for dinner. The service provided by the staff was superb, the drinks and meals were quick and tasted delicious. The triple mushroom pizza however was a little on the oily side but it was still tasty!

Very good place for a group meal, fine dining, food is good. The shared plater (40per person/ 50per person) is a very good idea to try everything from Meat to sea food. Loved it. Will recommend it.

Mecca Bah has been adviced for many years but didn't have a chance to visit. I made it today and impressed with service, superp food, cleanliness and incredebally cheap food. 2x mixed excellent kebab plate and great pizza/pide and drinks $110. I look forward to try other items on menu soon

4 of us had the 3-course meal and weren’t sure what to expect. The food was delicious! It was ‘mmmmmm’s from our first bite till dessert. The meatballs (entree’s) and beef ribs were class.

Its the 4th time I've been to the Mecca Bah on the Gold Coast and its superb. Every time it just amazes me with the flavours and atmosphere. Great staff, good prices, highly recommended you try it.

Was a busy night and we were lucky to be able to get a seat without a reservation. Order the mixed grill kebab which was perfectly seasoned and delicious. The trio of dips that was served with generous portions of bread. The lamb pizza delicious, and the calamari entree was absolutely incredible. Thank you so much. Service was a little slow, but probably because it was so busy and we were outside, so understandable and forgivable. Thank you so much and we will be back again

Decent food. Especially the ribs.

North African style cuisine featuring lots of spicy meat and vegetable dishes beautifully presented, with accompaniments such as couscous, white and green beans, and traditional side dishes. Meat lovers will enjoy - vegetarians and seafood lovers too, though the choices excluding meat are a bit limited. Prices are mid range, service good, wine list acceptable, soft drinks and beers available in limited range (no craft beers - the focus is on cocktails!). The central location in broadbeach is convenient for the casino and other night spots.

We had a table of 5 on a Wednesday night in November 2020. Never been here before. 2 bottles of wine and shared our meals family style. What a great place to enjoy tasty food with friends, fast service friendly staff and very efficient. The food was so interesting especially the short ribs and the Pizza with Lamb.

Food was really yummy. We were seated in a really awkward position where we had people constantly bumping into our chairs despite being tucked in as far as we could. We ordered the 3 course banquet with was wonderful. We were expecting more for the dessert (2 pieces of baklava). We thought we were getting a small selection of the desserts instead. Otherwise, the meal was really lovely
