Really Good Looking Tavern. Located on Dreamworld Parkway Coomera. With Lovely Decor, a Fab Kids Play Area & Good Food,(what little we Did have) Went There with Family & Friends Tuesday 14-6 Late Afternoon. Had Planned on Having Dinner There. But, Left Early Due to A Horrible Experience With a Staff Member !! Whole Evening Was Spoiled By the Terrible Service & Appalling Attitude of the Short Brunette Aussie Bar Wench. Seriously Girly, If You DON’T Like People & DON’T Know Or Care How To Communicate In A Civil Manner. You’re In The WRONG Job !!

Never been here before & went for my MIL’s 60th birthday. Loved it! Walked in and was greeted with what felt like an elegant fancy restaurant. It was stunning! They had a games room for the kids & Even a bouncy castle. The cocktail specials were $17 and delicious! I had the strawberry margarita & could have had 20 of them, they were so yummy. And had a good amount of alcohol in them, unlike other restaurants with discount cocktails the tend to skimp on the amount of alcohol they put in them. And the bartender was so quick at making them. Menu had a great selection and all good that came out was so tasty & quick! Highly recommend.

Went here for NYE. Very friendly staff. Food was very good but the bruschetta had too much oil, it was pooled on the plate dripping as you eat it. Chicken BLT was lovely, tender grilled chicken breast. Veggie stack was pretty large and delicious, sweet potato mash, roast pumpkin, large mushroom with halloumi and rocket. Great experience overall

Stopped in solo for a spontaneous midweek lunch. It was quiet. Decided to order a glass of wine first and peruse the menu. Although quiet, it took 2 bar ladies over 10 minutes to work out my ‘House Chardonnay’. I was offered a champagne glass, to which I requested a wine glass. $22.00 later (plus credit fee). I then sat with the menu. I could have bought 4 bottles of that wine for the price of one glass, and decided if it was that hard to order a drink, how difficult would it be to order food??? So I didn’t. I’m local and have been here a lot. I won’t be back. Note to Management - it’s a PUB, not a Michelin star restaurant $$$$$

We have been here twice for dinner on our one week holiday, the food is the best! Their wood fire pizzas are delicious and one of the best I’ve had. We also tried the burgers, cannelloni and schnitzel which were all great. The other meals we saw being walked out also looked fab. The outdoor deck area is a very well put together area and provides a great atmosphere. Will definitely remember this place for next time!

Great local pub in Coomera near the theme park. Very nice ambience and spacious indoor and outdoor seating available. Food Servings sizes are generous and staff member's were friendly. Received good customer service during our visit. Thank you 🙂

Great location, great food but customer service is lacking with some - not all - who work here. Also the website said all day dining on Sunday so we arrived for an early dinner only to be told we had to go to the public bar if we wanted to eat or come back at 5:30. We opted to wait until the bistro opened and thought we could have a nice drink while we waited. The bar staff in the public bar were not very friendly & the place needs a serious refurbishment. My son went to the bar, was asked for ID which is fine but after 5 minutes of them staring at it, they handed it back & said ‘Watch the expiry date’? Which is August! And it was only Feb! Go figure. Even the bar manager speaks rudely to customers & has no time for patrons until there is an issue. Eric however was lovely & a couple of girls in the bistro area and the food is definitely worth it. Just needs a good clean up in the other bar and staff need to remember why they are there. Please also update the bistro hours on the website & FB page as we weren’t the only confused patrons.

I booked on-line which I found very easy. We were happy with our table and lucky it didn't get the sun directly on it as some of the other tables did. The menu had a lot of variety and it was hard to make a choice, especially seeing all the meals that were coming out looked great. We both decided on the Captain's Catch and were hugely happy we did, it was amazing. Entertainment started at 1pm and the guy was very good. We had a great afternoon and will be returning soon.

We had a great night. Food was delicious. Prawn spring rolls were very light with loads of flavour, great starter. I had the beef cheeks which just melted in your mouth. We sat out on the verandah, lovely ambience. We have been there on a few occasions over the years but the food this time was exceptional.

Had dinner for parents wedding anniversary, there were 22 of us. Staff & service was amazing! Food was so yummy!! Very accommodating, we brought in two big cakes for dessert and that was no problem at all. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

While our overall experience was ok, there were two things that stood out. Firstly I reserved a table outside on the deck, and when I got there I found our table was indoors, and the second thing was I ordered the rump steak and i found it too be dry and chewy. Apart from that I would probably go again but won't be my first choice.

We visited for dinner with a young child. We were met by the restaurant manager and the greeting was real and warm. He accommodated our preferred seating and returned with a clean high chair. Further to this he served us for drinks and we were a bit vague in our order. I would not have blamed him for getting upset and he just ran with it without a hint of annoyance. Thank you for that. The wait staff also were simply outstanding. Then the meals arrived as ordered and the seafood basket was freshly prepared and just great, as was the kiddies pizza, the steak sandwich, the fish and brushetta. The entire experience is simply first class and we will be back for more. Thank you Boathouse staff and take this praise as proof that you are doing the best in hospitality I've experienced in years.

The food was delicious and big meals, you definitely get great value for your money. I was able to drop off the cake the day before, which was handy. Family friendly and lots fun for the kids with a games room and jumping castle. I have never been to a place like this before, the boat bar blew my mind and beautiful outside water dining area was very relaxing. My mother in-law is a coeliac and she was able to enjoy a beautiful meal also.

Average food, nice and freezing outside, EXPENSIVE, questionable portion sizes for the pricing. Not worth revisiting. I could pay less for the same food at the airport (yes, the airport where prices are jacked way up). Though, there are limited options in this area, so if you have no where else to go, there's always tables open at this place. I cannot recommend this place, if you are commuting or travelling, I recommend getting something nicer along the way. The food tasted very average for me but, none of my party had any positive remarks about the food.

We had the cannelloni and beef cheeks it was nice, abit too much sauce on the cannelloni for my likeing but great place for a date night or family together 😊

Great atmosphere and good food, the prices were really resonable too! The staff were great but they could do with more people behind the bar - but probably has been difficult to hire at the moment. We really enjoyed our evening and will be back again!

Local to the area. Have eaten here a few times, most recently Friday night, 4 adults. Happy with the food. Had a Thai beef salad. Ordered drinks/cocktails through the table QR scanner. Bit slow on coming, took 20mins. Food ordered the same way but came out pretty quickly. Nice place to eat, just a bit slow with the drinks that night.

Outdoor area is nice. Bounce house for the kids was good. Food was nice. Drink prices are expensive

I took my teenage children out to lunch today and I have to say that the service we received was absolutely amazing! All of the staff we interacted with were fantastic. I work in customer service and if I had staff like them I would be so proud. Food was tastey and big serves. This is now our new favourite go to restaurant. 😀

Lovely welcome on arrival and taken to our table promptly, food arrived in a very reasonable time and was as lovely as always. Staff chatty and helpful especially Janey who was especially amazing and helpful when my daughter burst her lip while playing. Highly recommend this venue it’s lovely to sit outside and plenty heaters available for the cooler nights. Will be back soon .

Restaurant/bar staff member Taylor went above and beyond to accomodate our business dinner. She was informative upon arrival as to the facilities and ordering process. Once the event moved to the main bar she continued to serve us with excellence.

If we could give more stars we would. From the moment we were greeted by Taylor until we finished our meals and left, the service was beyond outstanding. The food was incredible (try the ribs and beef cheeks 🤤🤤🤤) and cocktails too. Every staff member that we encountered was delightful, and an absolute credit to Anna and management. It's so refreshing to be welcomed and have human contact when eating out. We can't believe we've passed by almost every day for 7 years and not eaten here before. We'll 110% be back. Thank you for making a very rare child free dinner so wonderful. Until next time 🥰

We recently had a surprise 60th at this amazing venue. From first contact to after the event, Anastasia (Anna) was amazing. A variety of areas we could choose from and plenty of tables and chairs for the event. A beautiful venue to have a casual drink and/or meal, a business meeting or celebration. They have great food, a jumping castle and games room for the kids, plus a karaoke bar! Can’t wait for the next event guys! Thanks for having us. Kirsty

Had a lunch business meeting on Friday, my first time to The Boathouse Tavern. The place is under renovation so construction everywhere, but it was a beautiful day the outdoor area is massive and a great place to just chill out. I’d be keen to check it out again once the Reno’s are done. First entered via what I assume is the main bar. The “bar” is designed from a luxury boat, very cool concept. Bar server was on the phone when I walked up so waited for a bit. Pretty young girl served me (long dark hair) but zero personality and didn’t even crack a smile. Wasn’t very inviting sadly… QR codes for ordering - easy enough, but doesn’t all for any comments, notes or changes to the menu items which was a little frustrating. In saying that, a lovely server Taylor was kind enough to pass on my requests to the kitchen. I stuffed up my order, so ended up with a very boring Caesar salad - it was good but would have been better if I had of remembered to add the chicken. Mind you for what it was, almost $20 was a bit cray cray. Didn’t take a photo of it. 5 ⭐️ is purely for Taylor 😃

My chicken burger was cooked well but the chips weren’t that great. good pricing. my mum said the vegetables they served with her fish were the best veggies she’s ever had ahah. very generous serve of the fish. i would definitely come back again :)

Great venue. Service is mostly friendly and staff are good humoured. It was a busy night and we were seated and waited on promptly. There is a large selection of seating and I think I counted at least 3 bars. The boat bar is worth a look. The outdoor, undercover dining is spacious and has a great atmosphere with big screens for sports. The menu is large and the food is well prepared. Great location for small or large groups with or without children. Very relaxed.

Do yourself a favour and order the Garlic Cheese Pizza - that doughy crust - it's ridiculously good! Never change that please! Great venue for a quick beer or a family meal.

Great atmosphere. Food was fantastic and plenty of it. Staff were friendly and professional. Covid precautions in place. Great place for family gathering or with work mates. At the time, 1730hrs not real busy, but was moderately crowded an hour later. Have been here on several occasions and it can get very busy. Meal menu comprehensive and reasonably priced. Highly recommended and will definitely revisit.

Great Pub held my 40th there the beer garden is awesome Tamara was great to work with had the best night good food and kids play area we had cultural dance performances on which really gave customers a dinner experience to remember cheers guys 🙌🙌

The boat house is usually a fave spot for me. Iv hosted massive functions, came for lunch and regularly pop in for a beer. But tonight they lost my business!!! Ordered food was sent some random meal and one of the worst portions iv ever seen for a $30 product. Wasted a good hour speaking to menulog. Then was chucked a $50 voucher for the pub like my night and event was completely insignificant... All I wanted was the correct meals I paid for delivering to my door... Which nobody wanted to do. Tonight the boathouse ruined my daughter’s birthday dinner .... sending some crusty cold chips and chicken which was binned. My function made this pub a significant amount of business. Yet I can’t even get a dam pizza send back out to me after your chefs didn’t provide the right meals. Tough writing this about the boathouse as I’m a fan but doing what’s right for your loyal customers should be a priority especially if your willing to take our cold hard cash.

Pretty over rated, it’s a pub. The boat bar thing isn’t that special, security at the front is grouchy and rude. My carbonara was bland, my cocktail was good though. Line up for food and drinks is really ridiculous, waited at least 15 minutes to order food, waited at least 10 minutes for my drink. Went for a friends birthday wouldn’t go back if I didn’t have to.
