What a little gem! Pam is one of the nicest people, best service and hospitality! Food was delicious, well presented and brought out in a timely manner. Wonderful service with a smile from ALL staff! Haven't seen anything as good as that in years!

The food was lovely - filling and reasonably priced. Scanning a QR code and ordering at the table made it super easy.

We had a great time here, For a little wedding reception. Staff were so friendly, even provided helium balloons for each table as decoration. Food was cooked perfectly, at a great price, a huge portion and came out really quickly. Definitely going back thanks to the overall experience!

Great little pub. Sports bar is awesome, all the locals are super friendly and the staff are lovely. Was in today with friends and Emma was fantastic; quick to serve and remembered our orders. Always had a smile on her face. Will definitely be back if she is working!

I went with some girlfriends for lunch yesterday and was pleasantly surprised at the service and meals. I say this because I have been very disappointed with the quality of food previously (pre-covid) & vowed not to return. I am glad the Bday girl chose there now, as our steak sandwiches were probably the best I have had anywhere on the Gold Coast 👍 The seating is comfortable & a choice of areas & the staff are all lovely. Will be returning 😊

Highly recommend Pacific Pines Tavern, we have dinner here regularly being our local and the family love’s it. Food is delicious and the staff are wonderful, friendly and professional. Big shout out to Huey, she always looks after us.

We went to Pacific Pines Tavern a bit late around 8pm for late dinner after a busy afternoon. Although there were still other people dining, our food was brought to our table very quickly. Staff members that helped us were so nice. One lady spent some time talking to us and our kids and gave my oldest who did not order kids meal an ice cream like the rest of our kids who ordered kids meals which included ice cream. Tables were well spread out and we did not feel squished at all. Best service we have had in a long while. Food was nice as well, better and bigger than what I expected to get at a tavern. But thier customer service just made our dinner way more pleasant. Kids enjoyed their dinner and did not stop talking about how good their meal was and how nice people were there especially this lady who talked to them for a bit.

What an amazing day my family and I had Xmas day at Pacific Pines tav. The hot food, the desserts, the abundance of seafood was absolutely fantastic.. I can't thank the staff enough for their exceptional service and for giving up their day for us to enjoy ours. Definitely recommend ❤️❤️

My friends and I love our weekly lunch date at the Tavern. The food is fantastic and the staff go over and above with their service skills. Shout out to the lovely Marty and a massive shout out to the ever smiley Pam

This venue is a must! Great for families, friends - Our group of 8 adults, 3 kids were so pleased from the variety of food on the menu and the size of our meals were generous portions. The customer service, friendly and the venue clean and cosy. A great team working at the Pacific Pines Tavern. Thanks to Pam and everyone else that made our first visit a memorable one. We will be back. 10/10

Went to the Pines Tavern for lunch with the family for the first time and had a great time. Staff were amazing with special mention to Beth and Pam, Outstanding customer service with both ladies looking after us with a constant smile and laugh. The food was one of the best we have had at an ALH venue or anywhere else and we will definitely be back. Thanks for an awesome day👍

Nice enough place. Not overly fancy. If you are looking for a working mans tavern, then this is the place for you. Food seems good, staff are friendly and its clean. Music is the background creates a nice relaxed atmosphere. We came to escape the heat. Didn't achieve what we were after as the huge open air seating was detracting from the air-conditioning. Nevertheless, drinks were cold and seating comfortable.

Best ALH pub I've been to yet!! All the staff were amazing. The food was delicious. Service was quick and super handy that they have a kids play area too! Thanks for an amazing night!

Great steak and even greater customer service from every staff member here. Recommend reserving a table as almost everything was booked when I arrived and this was only 15 minutes after opening! When I open my own restaurant I want the guy that is "older than the manager". Such an asset to an already solid establishment

The staff here are so friendly and accommodating! Even without a booking they will try to fit you in. The food is always consistent and the snitty is always on point. Just simple/good pub food in a relaxed atmosphere, good family spot!

Lovely family friendly pub. I went to karaoke on a Friday with a friend a while ago which was so much fun. I have had friends who went to try the steaks & the ribs & were impressed with the serving size, presentation as well as the taste . I had the the nicoise salad for lunch which was yummy . ( which can be vegan / vegetarian option or can have added calamari or chicken ). I have tried the zucchini wedges before which were delicious. The pub was clean & the staff friendly & the service efficient.

Absolutely love this place! My mate and I came late and was about to close but they happily let us in to have a feed. The staff here are very nice and the food is delicious!

Friend had the fish and chips, said it was nice. I had the southern fried chicken burger- terrible...... the chicken was not at all like the menu picture it was tiny pieces of fatty crumb chicken that tasted like teryaki chicken. The menu said buttermilk fried chicken and it tasted more like teriyaki chicken wings. Aioli as a side does not come with the meal as shown in the picture. Staff weren't interested in providing this either when asked. Fish was apparently nice but chicken burger terrible. Sorry wouldn't go back.

Went with a large group for lunch. Service was lovely (especially Pam), food was yummy and had a great time. We were celebrating a birthday and it went really well. Only improvements I would make are: would be great if the kitchen had a dedicated gluten free fryer so coeliac's can eat the chips too! More menu options for gluten free and vegetarians would be great. Floor was very greasy and slippery in front of kitchen area, needs a good clean. Overall a good time was had by all including the kids!

We had lunch here Saturday gone for the first time. It was busy but the Maori lady (sorry to not have got her name) went out of her way to accommodate the wait, we really appreciated her care. It was worth the wait in the end because the food was fantastic.

Massive thank you to Byron for looking after our family on Thursday night! Our food was delayed so he paid for 2 jugs for our table. We really appreciated it :) If you’re in Pacific Pines Tavern and Byron is looking after you, you’re in excellent hands!

My wife and I always have a great time at our local Pac Pines Tavern. The food is delicious and the drinks are a fair price and always cold! The staff are friendly and always take the time to greet us and have a chat. Highly recommended this Tavern for a drink or family get together! 5 stars!

The waitress Huey was wonderful and entertaining. The new menu is decent. It was very busy when I was there. I could tell the chefs where working as hard as they could do get the meals out, but when 80 people order at once I can imagine it gets tough!

So happy we came here.. had friends for lunch and chose to come here. The staff went above and beyond, everyones food was amazing and they even put the Wallabies/NZ rugby game on for us (thanks to the manager and her staff, made our lunch one to remember 👍) Highly recommend and will definitely come back!!!

This is my local tavern, so I might be a bit biased. Never had a bad meal there. It is my go-to place if I just want a quick nice steak and a beer. Service is friendly and relaxing. Pricing is average.

Our server today was Huey She made our day All the staff were so lovely ,nothing was too much trouble. Huey spoke so highly of her managers to us,pointing them out and having funny banter with them which was lovely ,because you could see she was enjoying her job and that obviously bought about her great customer service Our meals were beautiful My steak was so tender and our meals arrived so quickly . Great place to visit Friendly and welcoming

Food here was amazing and Skye who served us was brilliant but the short bald Manager here is a toss bucket! WARNING! Don’t walk around with your drinks he’ll accuse you of bringing your own! Disgusting behaviour from a manager! Get why the place is so dead now especially with managers like him scaring the customers away!

We've been regulars at the Pacific Pines for nearly 6 years and never experienced such bad service. Tonight, a Tuesday night, we ordered at 6.26pm..... a MR steak, Ribs and a Caesar Salad plus kids nuggets. The kids nuggets arrived, that was fine. The rest of us waited and waited and waited. We asked Beth multiple times and was assured that we were next...... we waited and waited. A table next to us who arrived after us was served while we still waited. By 730pm we gave up and asked for a refund. The Assistant Manager tried to assist but struggled to find our order in the computer, he eventually found it and refunded us. Pacific Pines Tavern use to be such a fantastic venue and we've noticed so many ex-staff working at other local pubs recently. A few years ago the Tavern use to be so good with face painting for kids on a Wednesday and kids eat free, the chefs use to be so fast with meals. We've noticed the decline in customers and the staff are so grumpy now. Unfortunately after tonight i don't think we will be back for a long time

We had booked an event somewhere else and the venue was having electric problems. We came to the tavern with 24 people and they accepted us with open arms. Kind, courteous, professional and efficient describes our experience. The food was delicious and everything cooked to perfection. The service was friendly and caring. Every time we come here the service is without a doubt 10/10. Everyone is so warm and genuine, the food is great and drinks are amazing. Special shout out to Beth for being so sweet and checking in on us xx

Been here numerous times for extended family lunches/dinners and the food has always been top notch. Service excellent also. Pricing neither cheap or expensive but you really get what you pay for. Carter's for young families with secure playground but be warned, it can be noisy. Highly recommended as a family go-to.
