From the moment my partner and I walked in, we were greeted at the bar by Cooper, who gave us a great recommendation for dinner which was the rump steak. It was brilliant and Coopers service was second to none. What an astonishing gentleman and venue. Thank you for a good meal. Gracias

Went for dinner. Tables were dirty and no one attempted to clean them at all. They forgot one of our drinks that we ordered on the app. Food was below standard for an pub. Wouldn't return in a hurry.

The steak was very average no fat strip (tasteless). The fries were nice but the salad was too dry. I think a creamier mushroom sauce would be a better match for the steak. For over $40 I think this meal should be improved.

Was actually nice. I was thinking a taken would be a bit of a dive but the bistro area was done really nice, food was good and there is play equipment for the kids. Also has that option to order on your phone at your table so you don't have to line up. Will be back. Ribs are good.

My partner’s burger was not cooked through, and it was cold…. The pool table is hilarious. Asked if there was a brush, however the lovely young lady “didn’t know it was a thing”. The Caesar salad was fine….

Have been there several times. Great Beer and Whine Selection .Seniors Meals are very tasty with Delicious desert and Coffee to finish off. Helpful Friendly staff, Clean and tidy Premises. Plenty of Parking. Public transport nearby. Well Worth a visit.

Have been here a few times and usually it is pretty good. Tonight was a different story! The management at this place is disgusting. We were told we can’t order food at the bar even though the person in front of me was ordering food. Tables around us were complaining and the one across from us were struggling to order from the menu app for her 5 kids and the lady asked the manager for help and he pretty much walked away. We ended up helping her order and she was so greatful. These managers need to get there act together before they end up with no customers.

Comfortable everywhere and baths in most rooms !! Great !! Parking excellent, including a large bus. Convenient for mist Gold Coast venues

Excellent really well priced meals with humongous portions I had the chicken parmigiana and it was like a perfect classic pub style meal delicious perfectly cooked and well presented the staff were professional and everything was excellent

The food portion was very generous. Quality of beef was excellent for the ribeye fillet 300g

Been here a few times for a meal, tonight I had the ribs, previously the steak, food is absolutely divine. Ate the ribs with just a fork, fell apart beautifully with a delicious jack Daniels sauce. Order at the table and table service meaning we could enjoy our meal. Awesome relaxed environment.

What an awesome place to Eat, Drink and Stay! The best thing though... the amazing team! Warm, friendly and nothing was too much trouble! Would definitely recommend

My daughter and I visited for lunch and a cheeky beer. Our meals were top notch and a great selection of beers on tap. Greeted with lovely warm service from one of your team, Arlene. She had such a welcoming and pleasant demeanour. Thanks guys, we will be back again soon!

There was not enough staff...there were constantly queues around the tables where we are eating, because you needed to order food and drinks at the bar with 1 - 2 bar staff. If you were trying to order a drink you'd be gone for about 15 mins... Food was expensive, we can eat cheaper and get better at many other places...even the chips are ordinary. There were people waiting to be seated for a good 20 minutes, and still no one came to seat them. The staff that were there were trying their best. But overall not very impressed, we won't go back.

The accommodation here is actually fantastic. Rooms are lovely and very comfortable. Unfortunately the food was very disappointing and so was the service. Dinner not great but the breakfast was terrible. More stars if it was just the accommodation.

Hi, We booked a table for lunch yesterday for 20 people. As it was to be a special occasion to celebrate our mums life we booked the Lone Star as she loved going there. Upon arrival we found that we were booked on two table's not one.Everyone ordered lunch and we were disappointed with our meals. Steaks ordered medium and rare were overcooked and two people were sick after eating their seafood and vegetarian bowl m els. Staff were busy but helpful and pleasant. The quality of the food has gone downhill since our last visit and we are disappointed by this as we have always enjoyed the venue.

Nice pub very average food good service. Wait on food was a bit long steak sandwich was cold.

We had a wonderful time at the Tavern, the food was delicious and the service was friendly. The next time we stay at the hotel, we will definitely come back to the Tavern!

Great place to eat, and amazing staff!

We ate here last night and at the buffet this morning as we stayed at the Mermaid Waters Hotel overnight. Last night was TERRIBLE! It was unbearably loud with kids running around the tables screaming and yelling. It was also very hot. We moved tables to try to escape some of the noise but ended up getting the staff to bring our meals to our hotel room. Food was good and affordable. Staff were lovely. It was OK but not great. Won't be in a hurry to go back anytime soon. Breakfast was OK. It was quieter but very early.

Amazing professional staff who actually are attentive & listen to their customer needs. Meal was so big, was offered a container for take home doggies bag. Love your work team!

Disappointing Lunch- waitress was shocking served our lunch then told us we had to go to bar to get cutlery! booked drinks via table app and took forever so ended up chasing up and finally received - then my friend waited even longer and had to do the same - mind you it wasn’t even busy! Food was good - so really they need to work on service -sadly won’t go back

Very disappointing, I was playing a poker machine, minding my own business, having a bit of fun as I work very hard for my money but do enjoy an outlet every once in a while. I also paid to stay the night there. I was asked to leave by the manager as he told me I was intoxicated! I must admit I was very tired so the drink may have affected me a bit more than usual but I wasn’t being rude or boisterous. I put a fair bit of money into that machine and was trying to recoup some of it back but had no chance after being escorted out! I will never go back and the buffet breakfast was terrible.

Fantastic venue and great service. The food was amazing. My brother tried the chefs special chicken avo smash, and I’m not gonna lie, it really wasn’t all that. I think the warm avocado creamy flavour really overwhelmed the rest of the dish. Definitely not reordering, but the creativity is much appreciated. We were treated to brilliant service by the bar attendant Libby, she was lovely. The rump and ribs were fantastic, and the Wagyu Beef burger was mouth watering. Me and my family will definitely be coming back 😁😁

We choose to dine here because we believed it to be “lonestar “. We were extremely shocked to find that is just a pub actually called the “brassiere steak house” . Please remove that name from your website. The meals it self were pleasant , very basic style food to be ordered with your phone at the table. Which is convenient and easy to use. With the option of paying with cash at the bar instead. Kids meals (cheese burger n chips) were of a good size. I recommend this pub for a meal or drink. Has a kids play area .

Overview of today's dining experience is pay more attention to picking up plates and cutlery from customers table in a timely manner and not leave them still sitting in front of us an hour after we had finished our meal. Had to move them to another table next to us. Five tables around also had not been cleared. Very slack of staff. Definately not a fan of the ordering system. No menu's on table as we like to see a hard copy. The menu app they ask you to use with your phone at table or option paying with cash at bar instead. Meal was nice though.

Food was incredible. THE BEST steak I have ever had…. And that peppercorn gravy 🤤 hubby had wagyu burger and rated it 5 stars. The only reason for 3 stars was because of the bar staff. We were summoned to the bar to receive menus and then when we asked a question upon leaving, were treated like we were wasting their precious talk time. Wait staff were fantastic though.

Greeted by lovely staff and our meal and drinks were perfect . Great fun day clean tables. Meal was very nice chicken snitz hot chips and salad. All fresh. Bar staff were funny and friendly. Great team of staff

Frequent Diners when we're on the GC. Porterhouse is always cooked to perfect medium rare! Food is always out fast and service is always friendly.

Good place to go watch the footy have a tasty hot feed, they have a big pokie room and TAB area with a pool table, food is good but gets a bit slow when they are busy same with the drink service. They have a kids playroom for the kids. One thing that was concerning is I saw a big rat run past in the eating area and went straight into the garden then disappeared.

We had dinner here tonight, and I had the famous pie and my partner had the chicken and mushroom pasta. Both meals were so tasty. All the staff were so friendly. We'll definitely be back :)
