Great location and atmosphere overlooking the water. Good range of indoor and outdoor seating, with a decent range of options on the menu. We had fish and chips and linguini, both delicious and filling. The chips were cooked perfectly – crispy and light. The food was also hot when it arrived (as it should be). Friendly service too.

Came here for my wife's birthday dinner while we were holidaying. The staff, food, location is amazing. They provided an activity book that kept my son occupied. The seafood risotto was amazing. We also ordered the ribs and calamari as entrees. We enjoyed all off our meals and would highly recommend this place.

We went there for my partner's birthday. The environment was very beautiful with a view of water and the city. The restaurant atmosphere was very friendly and dreamy. The staff were friendly and kind, and the food was also very good, but for me, who is from Melbourne, the Gold Coast food was generally good but not extraordinary. Overall, however, this restaurant was one of the best.

I celebrated my 30th birthday here with my partner and we couldn’t have rated it higher! We flew in from Melbourne so weren’t sure how the food would compare in Gold Coast but honestly, absolutely stunning! The prawn & bug risotto stole the show and Errol our waiter was absolutely fabulous. Great humour, attentive and delivered an excellent wining and dining experience. We will be back!

On the Isle of Capri is a small mall by the river on the gold coast in between Benowa and Surfers Paradise. One of the restaurants overlooking the river is Edge Water Dining. The whole experience was first class. We had a lovely french waitress Nomand who was very friendly. The food was extremely well presented and cooked to a Tee. Not cheap but worth every penny. Worth looking up.

The meals were fabulous as was the attentive and friendly service. Great venue, beautiful outlook - but more importantly the food was sensational. Generous portion size and each bite was delicious! We ordered the Bug Risotto, Moroccan Lamb Salad and Crispy Salmon with Vietnamese style glass noodle salad.

What a fantastic place to enjoy some amazing food and tasty drinks! I ordered the pasta with prawn and chorizo, and was pleasantly surprised with the amount of prawns in the dish. Cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Sorry I only took a photo of my drink, but I'll definitely be back to add more. The service was second to none, even during such a busy period, the waiter we had so friendly and helpful, and I observed other waiters also showing the same service. Fairy lights, comfy seating and good views topped it all off. Well done to the chef's and team there! Thank you

Five stars for everything! Love the food, staffs are friendly. Although, a bit long wait for the food, but still reasonable. They are children-friendly! They take a great care of customers with children, bonus gift for my kid too, so she is not too bored waiting. Staffs were so attentive trying to give the best service, we were asking for a place close to a view, and they are willing to accommodate. There is one staff very professional, friendly, and I think he is really passionate with his job. Will be back again trying other menus!

Had a wonderful dinner at Edgewater with my partner. Service was exceptional and amazing portions! We had grilled king prawn for starter and sticky pork belly and duck breast for main course. Everything is so delicious and the cocktails superb! Had such a perfect day beautiful overlooking the water. Highly recommend. A guy staff was really nice. We probably come back to enjoy his service.

We started with a starter of crispy pork belly each, & finished with the king prawns & my mums meatballs (both entree sized). All meals were cooked to perfection, were plated beautifully, & were beyond delicious! The servers were very attentive & quick to respond. Overall one of the BEST meals we have had in a long time! Will DEFINITELY  be booking again!!! 2nd time: unbelievable taste, presentation, setting, & overall a fabulous lunch! 3rd time: still one of the BEST restaurants I have eaten at! Food consistently great quality, well cooked & presented, & excellent service to boot! 5th time: no photos but meals were again exceptional! 6th time: as usual, perfect! Meals were sooo delicious! Gave huge tip because our waitress was utterly amazing, & she (& in fact all of the staff) deserve every cent they get paid! We wanted for nothing! ☆ BIG compliments to the chefs especially. With my disability I am constantly requiring large pieces of meat are pre-cut before it comes out so I can enjoy many thing I couldn't cut myself. They are more than accommodating... so thank u. (I have been other places where the chef actually refused!) I also need a mobility scooter when I am in too much pain to walk aswell as occasional speech difficulties, & the staff is always very accommodating, looking after me & making me feel like my disability doesn't exist!

Went for a late lunch on Sunday. Place was very busy at the time Overall service and food was decent, price a bit over to what it should be. Waited a bit to get service but once we got service, it was lovely and she was kind. They could definitely use more staff. I don't recommend getting the gnocchi if you want fresh made gnocchi. The ragu pasta and our entre of sour dough with the butter was great however. Cocktails were delicious

Had my Birthday Dinner here earlier this month and food, service, and view fantastic. Love that the restaurant is open right through the afternoon which meant we could book an early Dinner at 4pm and take time to relax and enjoy before a 6.30pm movie. Hard to find special venues that don’t close between Lunch and Dinner. Thank you Edgewater!

The service was amazing and the food was very tasty(the artichokes heart was fantastic, it comes with the salmon by the way). The staff members did very well. I loved it every single thing! I really like to go there every time that is possible!

The food here was beautiful, absolutely delicious. Service was very friendly and attentive. They go above and beyond other restaurants I’ve been to. My only issue was how long it took someone to come back to take our order. People were sat down after us and their orders taken before ours without them having to call someone over like we did. Gorgeous scenery, really nice location. We will be back. The banana piña colada was delicious and I haven’t found a nicer drink elsewhere!

Dined here with my brother and his wife who were visiting from UK. Amazing location overlooking the water. Great layout and elegant design. The food was tasty and fresh. The staff were very attentive, funny and personable while being extremely professional. I highly recommend eating here and will go again next time I’m in QLD.

Good place to do gathering and clubbing next. Location is awesome with great night view. Tipi, calamari, and beef are all good. Deserts are a bit overkill, but I’m not against it.

We had our wedding dinner in the restaurant on Saturday and all our guests were so impressed with the food and the environment in Edgewater! From the decoration, food, atmosphere to the staffs, everything was perfect for the night. The staffs were very helpful and friendly, they go above and beyond to explain the food and order to us, never lack of a smile on their faces! Overall every one of us had a memorable dinner. It is surely a night which we will never forget, thanks everyone from Edgewater Dining and Lounge making it possible :)

I've been to this place for the first time along with my friends and family, and we spent a great night at this nice restaurant. We booked a table with a nice view beside the water, and the waiter was funny and made our experience even better. I loved "Pork chop" which was tasty and we all shared fresh oysters as well. Overall, we were happy and having a meal here is recommended.

The first time I tried this restaurant, I was really happy with the food and portions. It was really nice sitting by the water with a relaxed setting. I ordered the prawn risotto and shortribs. Very tasty dishes. I'll need to go back and try out more dishes.

I just had a drink with the family. Very nice place, but what stands out was the table service. Our waiter was such a nice and funny guy! Really made us feel welcome!

They said the risotto is the highly rated dish here. So three of us had to try it. We all loved it! It was really delish!! And the side of chilli given was heavenly, it complements the risotto so well! The pork belly entree was amazing too big portion! They have heaters if you sit outside during winter and fairy lights above. Very nice view. Quite a few other dishes I would love to try so I will definitely be back again!

A gem in the Isle Of Capri. This is quite an expensive place, and at times, you might be waiting a fair bit for your meal. Is it worth it? Absolutely! The flavour of Edgewater's dishes is unrivalled. We tried the seafood risotto. The flavour was divine and so was the presentation. The dessert is our favourite: their pannacotta is the best I have ever had in the Gold Coast. Service is also excellent: waiters look after you and always greet you with a smile. Thank you for making our dining experience pleasant.

Superb, innovative and delicious meals and the amount is also sufficiently generous, unlike fancy restaurants that leave you still hungry. Service was immaculate and the views are possibly the best in the Gold Coast.

We have frequented Edgewater a fair few times and it's a firm favourite. We have always recommended this place. The service is impeccable, the lady who served us yesterday is so lovely and easily approachable and happy to have a little laugh. Sitting by the water without a million people walking by is relaxing and peaceful too. Cocktails are always amazing well priced. You also have my favourite dessert, The Eton Mess, it's delicious and portions are well sized. My only negative (which isn't really a negative) is we did prefer the old menu. The beef fiilet steak was one of the best I've ever had and was sad to see it not on the menu yesterday. I understand changes sometimes need to be made, but please bring it back. It was literally my favourite and just melt in your mouth goodness. All in all, it's a great place for lunch/dinner (I imagine breakfast is good but I haven't tried it so can't comment).

This was our first time to enjoy an experience we've been looking forward to for a while going to lunch in our restored little speed boat Lady Bird ! The service & the food was second to none, our guests from Melbourne loved it as well. Looking forward to our next visit.

Amazing experience! My friends and I had a special dinner and we all were surprised from the quality and the big portions of each dish. As advised, before our order from one of the waitress, Chaz (hopefully, I spel it correctly), that we must consider how hungry we're, coz the meals are for eaters... we did order a lot of food. I would like personally to thank Chaz and the whole team including FOH and BOH for the great job that they do here. The restaurant is perfect for any occasion and celebration, staff is friendly and knowledgeable about drink list and current menu as well. The environment and the view to the city covers any expectations! Well done and one day we will get back for more great experiences!

Outstanding service by the entire team. I had just come out of surgery a few days before and all the team members made sure I was comfortable and well looked after. We ordered a Lychee Martini cocktail each and the sourdough bread - my goodness - what a treat! Our mains were equally delicious and the view, as always, was superb on a beautiful Gold Coast day!

Great food and excellent service. Very accommodating with the kids. One of our meals came out a bit later than the rest and the staff compensated us by shouting us a drink. Highly recommend
