Shameful lunch experience. Ordered Pad Thai and Pad See Ew and had noodles that were very sweet. Tiny serves and a very very disappointing taste. Funny enough, one of the waiters came to check on whether we liked our food, and I objectively said that the Pad Thai was too sweet, I normally have it everytime I go to Thai restaurants. She was apologetic but responded by saying it is actually sweet in our restaurant without offering to take it back or whether I'd like something else. Anyway wouldn't go there again. Overtly priced, poor tiny serves and not delicious at all

We regularly eat here when shopping at Pacific Fair and it never disappoints! Great service, super tasty food and lovely surroundings. My only small piece of feedback would be that $5 for very small bowl of white rice to accompany the stir fry is a bit much, but otherwise this is a wonderful restaurant!

Possibly the most flavoursome Thai I tried in Australia! The Massaman curry with coconut rice are something to remember! Beautiful restaurant, efficient and polite staff and amazing food.

Nice atmosphere, with generously portioned and tasty food. I had the barramundi fillet basil and papaya salad with BBQ chicken. Both dishes were aromatic, full or flavour and well cooked. I liked the addition of the papaya salad which brought freshness and cut through the richness of the dishes. The barramundi dish was crispy, well balanced and some nice suttle heat. BBQ chicken, tender with some crispness of the skin and smokeness of the char. Very enjoyable meal.

First place we went to after we landed on the Gold Coast, and it exceeded our expectations! The ambiance felt like it was Phuket tucked away inside the Pacific Fair shopping centre, and we were welcomed by attentive and efficient staff. The food was awesome! The pork skewers were grilled to perfection, and the soy/peanut sauce complimented the soft meat. The crispy pork salad was bursting with flavour from the coriander, onions, chilli and lychee! I regret not taking a photo of the dessert, as it was the best sticky mango pudding we ever had. Soft, sweet, and just melts in your mouth! We will be happy to fly back from Melbourne just for another visit!

I had lunch here with my friend and the restaurant is busy. The food is delicious and good amount of servings. The drinks are also yum. I am only giving 4 stars as the waiters are in so much rushed that they don't even give cutlery after they have served the food. It is hard to ask them for the things they forget to place on our table.

We have been here so many times since 2017 or 2018. I was recommended my friends and my families to come for lunch and dinner. Actually every time we came, it needs long time to wait for your order. I want to upload a comment this time, because we found that the food comes less than before. The chicken skewer still RAW inside… I was shock… it makes me hopeless… hoping can improve in the future

Food is nice and well presented, expect to pay $25-30 for a meal. If you order a coke, ask for a can otherwise they will give you a small glass of post mix half filled with ice for $4.50.

Their food is delicious and freshly cook ; flavor was on par . We ordered stir fried veggies ; curry beef and grilled chicken . I would love to have more vegetables as the portion of stir fried veggies was a bit little .

The portions are a bit small, especially the soup, which is a bit odd, but the coconut rice is delicious!

This was hands down the best Thai meal we’ve ever had. Entree, main and drinks delightful as was the staff. Our waitress (Green) is a credit to the xx Quick service and the place was jumping so we’ll be back, DEFINITELY. Green who served us today is a credit to your restaurant.

We popped in for a relaxing lunch and drink after a busy morning shopping and Wow!! What a surprise Chong Co Thai turned out to be. Friendly and fast service with the most gorgeous looking cocktails and some of the best food we have had while visiting Surfers! We will absolutely be returning customers, and I Highly Recommend Chong Co Thai to all!!

The food here is really delicious. Fa and Chom’s service was amazing, they were so friendly. All other staff were lovely as well. A great atmosphere 😄

Servers are nice and they remembered all the custom requirement. The foods are good and worth the price. Six dishes got ready in 10mins. Came here for dinner and ordered the Thai Green Curry & Pad See Ew. Absolutely delicious & well balanced. The pad see ew had great char that you don’t really find anywhere else. The curry wasn’t too spicy and was balanced, not too sweet. The Thai food here was slightly better than those in Melbourne!

Here for a weekend holiday from Melbourne. The atmosphere very good, waitress are attentive, we enjoy the food and happy to give five stars ⭐️

Wow the food here is AMAZING. Some of the best we've had. Was skeptical for it being in a shopping center. Seats are a bit hard. But the food makes up for everything else. I can't recommend this place enough. Go try it. We'll be back on the weekend

I had the pleasure of taking my sister (who is a mum) and our mother to Chong Co Thai today for a Mother's Day lunch. I couldn't have picked a better place! From the staff being amazing, friendly, the decor and accommodating to the outrageously delicious food! This place is a winner! We had spring rolls and satay chicken skewers as a shared entree. Then for mains the Lamb shank massaman curry with coconut rice (I mean man that lamb was so tender it just fell off the bone!) And 2x chicken Pad Thai. All of these dishes were amazing with generous portions and great price. If you have not been here, I highly recommend going! I can't wait to be back on the gold coast and go there again!

The food is over priced. The staff didn't know what were they doing. Just Kept sending the food to the next table. There got 3 staffs at the reception. Only 3 tables needed to be served for the last order time. They just want to sign off and go home early. The green curry too much water.

We popped in for early dinner before the cinema. Really tasty! Good value and everything was hot and fresh. I particularly enjoyed the Bao and skewers.

Have dined here previously and the food was great. This evening was a disappointment we waited over an hour for food and water to be provided to our table. After numerous discussions with waitresses we still were waiting. At least 5 other tables came in after us, ordered after us and received their food, consumed and paid for their dinner. At an hour and 15 minutes we ended up leaving without dinner. Very disappointing… when leaving we were offered takeaway but we declined. Give yourselves plenty of time if you wish to dine here.

Ordered two meals from the lunch specials on a weekday. Great price, tasty food and very well served portions. Great customer service as well. I'd come back here again for sure. Highly recommend this place!

We had a great experience there. Staff is amazing and very accommodating! Despite being a very busy day (public holiday and rainy) the wait time for table wasn’t long. Also, we were already late for a movie and mentioned to one of the ladies that we probably can’t wait for food, but she managed to arrange us our order asap. That was so kind of them. And despite being super busy all staff remained calm and friendly. I wish that other restaurants can learn from them! Food was delicious too. Thank you, Chong Co, we will definitely come back again many times.

Enjoyed lunch here after shopping that we booked for dinner same day. They are actually very good. Food and drinks presented so well. Looks good and tastes amazing. Staff are friendly, warm and inviting and provide service with a smile. Will definitely trying it again when back to visit Queensland.

OMG ! This is my favourite restaurant on the Gold Coast. 98% of the customer in the restaurant are Thai, so that says something. The food is INCREDIBLE. I have never tasted flavours so fresh and flavoursome. Thanks guys, I can’t wait to be back. ( we have eaten here quite a few times, and we will keep eating here! )
