We had a birthday lunch and got the banquet between 13 people. It was amazing everything was so well prepared and more than enough food to go around. My favourite dish was the ribs, they were unreal. The service was so great 10/10. And the cocktails were pretty great. Probably my favourite restaurant on the Gold Coast at the moment.

You have to try the Spanner Crab ravioli dumplings. One of the tastiest things I have ever tried!! The service was excellent, great cocktails and beautiful food! The lamb ribs were very tasty. Only dish we didn’t love was the scallops because we like them seared. Overall a wonderful experience! Didn’t get photos of the dumplings because we ate them before I could! That good! 😊

Service was good. Good portion of food. Restaurant is popular. Very busy on Monday night. I am sorry to say that Food for us was not amazing. Fried lotus root - it came out soggy. Just match with mayonnaise, nothing special. Duck - the duck meat was tender but dry. Bland taste. Curry Snappers- curry good, fish good Chicken wings- very good, crispy and tasty sweet sauce, chicken wings has marinated before fried. Pork belly- pork belly with good proportion of meat and fat, but only sweet taste. Refer to traditional Chinese recipes, it should be more flavour with spices and soy sauce.

Mamasan is up there with the best Asian restaurant I have ever been too. The food was absolutely phenomenal. We chose the $65 pp banquet and also had the pork bao. Everything we ate was faultless. Our waiter, Adam is to be commended on his attentiveness and bubbly personality. 11/10.

Didn't quite get it right. Modern Asian Fusion restaurants are everywhere these days and unfortunately Mamasan didn't quite cut it. Drinks were very slow coming out, so it meant aperitifs with entrees and wine at the end of our mains. Cocktails were sweet and sticky, hiding what booze was there. Food was slightly better, but salty and sweet sauces often masked the delicate flavors. Nothing really stood out. Nice location though, and staff were friendly and apologetic when things didn't go as planned.

We had pork san chow bau, taste amazing, but not enough lettuce. Charged $1 for extra 2 cos lettuce. We ordered Crab Ravioli as well, nice and pungeant taste of the coconut sambal, byt the crab filling a bit tough and tasteless, really supported by the sauce. Well done. For mains we had Wagyu steak. $89 for the steak, as it was my first wagyu, can't really compare, but it was so tender, cook to perfectness. Good job. The jus and sides (asparagus and wild mushroom) need some seasoning, but i think they want the wagyu to be the centre of the dish. Had it with wasabi, really a.ma.zing! We ended with schezuan duck, not my personal favorite. So strong on star anise, and barely can taste the schezuan, i didnt finish the last dish, beside I was full as well. We got a table in the corner, so we can have a chat as away from the crowd, but in a bar stool, not the most comfortable. The Wait staffs were okay, not really attentive, but the place was full, so understandable. End up with full belly? Yes Satisfy? 89% 😊

Wow, this place took me by surprise. We ordered a variety of dishes that we could sample from and they all were as delicious as they looked. Presentable and reasonably priced, although a bit more than some other places…but the quality is well worth justifying just spending a tiny bit more. Highly recommend checking this place out.

We only got 1.5 hour so the dinning experience was a bit rushed. We didn't realise until the waiter kept walking around us and looking at his watch. When paying for the bill, he said to us feel free to tip. Tip for giving us a hint to leave? 🤣 Food tasted pretty good. Serves are small and pricey. Choya Yuzu cocktail was tasteless. Two people spent nearly $200 without dessert.

Fancy asian fusion restaurant that is worth every dollar despite the expensive price. Popular and crowed despite a Monday night. Service was great as well. The recommended dishes that were above expectations were the panna cotta and indonesian fried rice.

The only thing I regret is can't give anything higher than 5 stars. Food is totally wonderful. My waitress was very lovely and nice. Open kitchen but you can't even hear any chef yelling, not even once. Definitely best of the best.

The food as amazing you won’t be disappointed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is because our table lack the attention that needed.

A wonderful dining experience again. The service was exceptional which is the lead to a great meal. Trout Sashimi was fantastic, delicate but with so much flavour and texture. Patagonian Toothfish.. delicate, tasty, and the broth it came in was so complex it's hard to describe! All our choices were great, thanks again Mamasan and your team for a great dining expiring.

Fell in love with this restaurant through their food. The tuna tartare was so good we had to order it again as our final dish. Wish we could try their scallops but they sold out. We also had the red curry, duck pancakes and ocean trout sashimi. Everything was perfect and we would definitely want to visit here again on our next visit! Excellent service; attentive staff.

Recommended by a couple of people we knew. Honestly could not fault it. Food was so vibrant but most importantly really tasty. So much flavour. Staff were friendly and the venue had a great vibe. Also situated in a great spot in walking distance to most hotels and the beach.

We’ve been to Mamasan a number of times and are always well looked after by Sepi and Shane, in fact there are a number of long serving staff members we’ve come to recognise. The experience and food are second-to-none and the venue has a great atmosphere. The modern Asian shared food is absolutely delicious. Mamasan is always reliable for a wonderful night out.

Amazing food! Worth every star. Staff very helpful & friendly. We had our kids with us and the staff kept the spicy sauce separate so we could all enjoy. Cant wait to go back.

Exceptional food and a great selection of cocktails and mocktails (including a non-alcoholic espresso martini!) The atmosphere is beautiful and the chefs are 5 star. Search them on instagram for more pictures of the food. We would absolutely go back.

Food is delicious no doubt about that, just a bit on the pricey end for the amount of food served. Would still recommend to friends if price wasn't a concern. Had the Dumplings and the Soft shell crab baos. The dumpling sauce was delicious and had us scooping up every last bit off the plate. Do note that the lunch special advertised on google maps is no longer running. Little disappointing when we arrived.

As walk-ins to this busy restaurant, six of us lunched at Mamasan on our first day in Gold Coast. I ordered the Spanner Crab Ravioli Dumplings and while I knew there would only be 4 of them, the portion size seemed exceedingly small. Two additional dumplings would have been a perfect portion, though I'm not sure I would be willing to pay extra given 4 were already $32. More of an issue was the 3/4 inch piece of shell in my first bite of dumpling. While the dish tasted delicious, I was very wary as I ate it; fortunately no further pieces of shell appeared. Two others in our party enjoyed the Singaporean Snapper Curry; another the Pork Bao and Wok Fried Vegetables; and the other two demolished the Tuna Tartare and Crispy Shandong Chicken. Dessert for me, and three others at our table, was the Jasmine Rice Panna Cotta which was fabulous, and others said the Mamasan Chocolate Brownie was too. My rating would have been higher but for the portion size of my dish and the piece of shell. Would return for another meal.

I had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at Mamasan. My party of six decided to order the Banquet menu, and I must say, it was a great choice. One of us had a gluten intolerance, but the restaurant handled this dietary requirement flawlessly. The food itself was absolutely amazing, and our server went above and beyond with their attention to detail. Despite the restaurant being full, we felt incredibly well taken care of. Every dish was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, and the portion sizes were very generous. In fact, we couldn't finish everything, but the staff kindly offered to pack the leftovers for us. They did an amazing job with the packaging—it was truly top-notch. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

I’ve ordered a vegetarian banquet and love the variety of taste. The food was tasty and the portion was just right. However I gave 2 stars for service as 5mins into serving the mains we’ve been told we were left with 10minutes to eat. Understandably there’s a time limit for each booking but would appreciate if the mains came earlier so that we would have more time to enjoy. As we were rushing to finish our wine while waiting for the waitress to get us the bill , we’ve been told by probably the floor manager to move from the table. That’s a shame as surely waiting one more minute wouldn’t cause any damage. Food was good overall but could really improve on service.

Really enjoyed it, our favourite meal out in broadbeach so far. Nice selection of wine, whisky and cocktails.. Good service despite a busy Friday night - recommended !
