I came here for dinner as I was out of town with my wife. I was blown away with the quality for a local tavern like this. The food was delicious, the staff were very friendly and well mannered. The food came hot and there was next to no wait. The establishment was clean and had great covid plans in place with plenty of signage throughout. They also had some amazing vegetarian options which is always nice. I would definitely come here again!

Fabulous friendly staff.... Went on 2 occasions. On both occasions we were served by Mitch who was very friendly and we were also served by Lucy the second time who was very pleasant to. We were on holiday from New Zealand. From the 12th - 21st may 2023.

$9.30 for a schooner of standard tap Beer seemed abit over the top for an ageing local street pub. Even with Government taxes I don’t understand charging that much. The only thing new or invested on is the Pokies and that just speaks volumes towards the owners priorities. Milk it and rip locals off. Perhaps the place is a limbo phase waiting redevelopment like the Palm Beach Hotel. Not like the place has ocean views or live entertainment or even pleasant surroundings to warrant this price. When $50 doesn’t cover a round of 4 beer and wine drinks At a local Pub I understand why a lot of Aussies don’t bother supporting local venues anymore. The Food was nothing memorable and I think it’s just a temporary unvalued job for the overstretched stressed out staff. Knock it down or at least make an effort to attract people and clientele.

Last minute lunch here after a busy morning. There's a limited lunch menu with some gluten free options. The staff checked that my piri piri chicken burger was gluten free. Tasty burger with proper piri piri spicyness. My partner had fish and chips - 2 pieces of fish with chips. Order at bar (lunchtime), food brought to your table. Happily eat here again.

Worst fish, Chips and salad Pub meal I've ever had - super, super small and $16.80. Won't be coming back in a hurry soon!! This was a top pub years ago

Wow! The staff are super friendly. Portions sizes were big and delicious. Definitely value for money. Went for dinner then returned a few days later for lunch. Get in there for a really good dining experience. Yum!

Impromptu drinking sesh went out for a few drinks & decided to eat. The food was great, the ribs & calamari was so delicious & tender.

The Chicken Parmy was "the Best" and filled the plate and I will return. The decor is very beachy and the staff friendly.

Tavern is about 160m from beach. Pokies. Dinning is beach themed and pleasant. Very cosy environment. Street level.

Brilliant place great staff very good quality food and tasty Monday Morning Melody up stairs if you want to listen to some awesome music and dance up a storm head to Currumbin RSL 🎶

Ordered Guinness pie, mash potatoes and mushy peas. Mmmm 2 teaspoons of mushy peas WOW. Sorry but it was so disappointing. Chewy had to cut it up really small to eat. Maybe the chef should try it. Partner had fish and chips. He did enjoy it. We had a wine each pity it didn't reach the lower line. Would we go again!!! NO is the answer

Great food, good size servings & reasonably priced, the staff were very friendly and efficient, we sat outside and loved it.

The tavern is close to the beach but unfortunately no views. But the food was great. My friends had the steak, the barramundi and vege burger with chips. Everything was delicious and good value with the half price special night.

Don’t expect fresh fish. The fish & chips just has battered fillets from Coles. The Pacific Ocean is literally 200m away, and there’s even a fresh seafood store less than a minutes walk.

Solid pub with pool table, pokies, TAB and restaurant. 50% off main meals on Tuesdays. Vegetarian option was nice but too small so disappointing. Great location near Tugan beach.

Very small portion of food on the day when they advertise ‘mains half price’ It was tasty but I stayed hungry.

We waited for 1 hour and 15 minutes to be told that they run out of patties for our burgers. We got our money back but I will never go there again. Things can happen but communication with customers is key and they completely ignored us.

We’re locals, and used to eat here at least once a week. It used to be really good. Wide variety of meals, great lunch time specials and specials for every night of the week. They must have changed chefs and their menu has gone down the gurgler. They have 1 burger and it’s a vegetarian burger. Got rid of their awesome Mexican parmigiana and removed all the good menu items. The staff are nice enough, and the atmosphere is just as expected for a local tavern. The menu really lets this place down. Bring back the good menu items and bring back the chef that wasn’t lazy and could make a killer Mexican parmy and bring back the lunchtime specials…and a freaking beef and chicken burger option…tavern food 101!!!

Great place1st time going there n totally enjoyed the atmosphere friendly staff. Great meals, pokies for the light gamblers. Beach just a few steps up the road.

Chicken wings are terrible. I don’t know how they even made it past the kitchen. Incredibly dry and overly salty. Meat lovers Pizza (not sure how they’ve done this) is flavourless and seems to have little to no sauce at all. Only reason I’m not giving this a 2 is because the rest of my family enjoyed their meals.

Cozy area just off the beach. The place has great food and drink. I feel that after being a member of Burleigh Tavern I have been spoilt. Worth stopping by if you are in the area however.
