This resort is disgusting. We paid for the top apartment $1000+ for 2 nights. The apartment is falling to pieces. The showers have grime and rust do not look or feel as if they are cleaned on a regular basis. Old toilet paper left in bathroom from previous guests. All beds are rock hard so uncomfortable to sleep on. Aircon did not do its job rooms have no fans or airflow. I would never recommend this resort to any one. If we could get our money back I would fight it!!!

Very unprofessional service. Staffs are very inattentive to customers needs, all staffs just chilling at the bar by themselves. Had to wait ages to get service while there weren’t many customers. Asked for table water, never got it. No serviettes or silverware provided with the food we ordered. Ordered one cocktail and same one in mocktail, the staff served alcoholic drink to my friend who’s allergic to alcohol stating its non-alcoholic. Took ages to get a new one and the staff who brought a new drink did not even know if it was non-alcoholic or not. Very poor communication between staffs. Lame atmosphere, not as good as what it used to be 2 years ago.

I actually can’t believe we just paid $300 for 1 night at this joint. Where do you even start..... No air conditioner, no bedside tables, no couch to relax on, TV basically sits on the floor, smells like a brothel, pumping club music downstairs by the pool until all hours. If we got charged $100 per night I would not complain but $300 what a joke! The security guard at the club was lovely in helping us checkin after hours, other than that the location is great but don’t stay here if you are looking to relax, it’s party party party at the Komune!

Good location, being 3 star the rooms are a bit on the tired side but met our expectations, lovely view from our balcony. That’s where it stopped for us. We were the couple back in December that checked out after zero sleep, thanks to another group of your guests partying until 6am. We flagged what had happened with you guys in the morning, that they had scaled your balconies, broke into your pool bar to steal booze and cranked loud music all night. You were already aware of what had gone down, apologised and offered us a refund which we actually didn’t even ask for, but appreciated the gesture. Since then, I’ve tried to follow up the refund, emailed, called, left messages and been totally ghosted. Why offer a refund and not follow through on it? We just find it really bizarre! So if you love partying and pumping loud music in your room all night then this is the hotel for you. With no night security or 24 hour reception, you can basically go as hard and as loud as you want! Everyone else that wants a decent nights sleep, read the previous reviews on here and Facebook and be warned!

Only disappointment was that the Pool Club closed up early on a Sunday night, but I was pre-warned it would happen due to the quietness. Plus understandable with surrounding residences. Otherwise, great place to stay. Definitely book an Ocean View apartment. The decor is so nice & the service was great. Grab a beer from the bar & relax by the pool! Will be coming back again 10/10!

DON’T STAY HERE if you want a peaceful nights sleep. There was monotonous thumping music playing when I checked in and was told it would stop at 10pm. So didn’t happen! People yelling and music pumping at $240 a night. There was no where on their hotel website property information about music until 12 pm. In fact it states that balcony doors must be closed if you’re playing music or watching TV after 10pm so to not disturb other guests! Also our room stunk of so much bleach it was uncomfortable. Very disappointed.

Average rooms with no ammenities. If you were looking to use the pool or spa well you can’t. Want to redeem the two for 1 meal? You can’t the entire club is packed and they make no effort to provide hotel patrons a service. Music pumping till 12 30. So dissapointed and actually ruined a holiday. Do not come here, it is worse than you could imagine.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Komune. I was a little concerned when reading reviews before our visit. However my honest review: Location could not be better. Spectacular views of both the ocean from the living area and stunning views of the river from the bedroom. Beautiful Greenmount beach right across the road from the apartment. The pool and bar where lovely. Delicious food! Great cocktails. The apartment itself was a lit tired thus my 4 star review. Some paint scratches here and there. Old-ish furniture. But the apartment itself was spotless. The older decor was of no issue to us, but if you are expecting 5 star luxury this might not be for you. But if you are wanting a lovely, clean apartment in a spectacular location with amazing views, then this is certainly for you, as it was for us. Loved our stay and hope to be back soon.

Great location and view from our apartment. Good food in the bar, really fresh and filling and 50% off from 6-10pm when you are staying in a room. The only downside is music is a bit loud while you're eating. We were on 7th floor so couldn't hear the music once the balcony door was shut and weren't disturbed while sleeping. Overall excellent!

We have stayed here many times and all of the rooms. The rooftop apartment has to be my favourite. The location is excellent with beautiful beach across road. These apartments are a old style but still a good choice with the great view. Weekends are noisey but a good vibe if you’re in holiday mode ... party feels! There is a bar and pool to add

The location is fantastic, right at the beach. We stayed in a dorm which was clean and had a balcony overlooking the ocean. The pool area is relaxing and clean. Breakfast is fine, depending on what you expect. If you expect a 'hotel' breakfast, it might not satisfy you. But if you expect a backpacker/hostel breakfast l, it's better than average. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would recommend this place.
