Old style pub where the bar staff know what your drinking before you ask for your drink. They also know how to pour a beer. Foods brilliant too

Huge meals. Staff very pleasant. Very clean premises. Dine inside,on verandah,or beer garden Stunning views. Public transport, disability ramp. Meals at a reasonable rate. Provide live music on certain nights. A non-smoker and a smoker pokies rooms . Great atmosphere . Love it!!! It has not changed since first post except now more people with more friendly atmosphere. Great place to make friends!!!

Relaxed spot for dinner and a drink. Sit inside or out. Lots of options on the menu. The pork ribs are very good. Plenty of parking.

The Grilled Dory Fillets were superb. Yum. For an entree, try the Stone & Wood Crisp and for desert you can't go past the Little Creatures XPA. Enjoy.

We were really looked after by Allison in the gaming room. She got our drinks, offered us free hot snacks and kept the room spotless and sanitized. Any business would love to have her as an employee.

cut out whole crew off at 3pm because we had rugby league jerseys on, couldn’t give us an exuse, so rude the whole time we were there when we all were behaving respectfully as we were there to celebrate a mates life. wouldn’t reccomend this place to anyone outrageous customer service from the blonde behind the bar, super rude and unhappy when we are there and chose to help support their business.

My experience? I got a takeaway slab. It's a pub. In Chindy. Great views, which sometimes includes dolphins & osprey! Good pub grub too - above average. I just love their mussels.

Oh the Chindy Tav. What a spot. Right on the water with a huge covered outdoor deck. I barely finished my beer before lunch was ready. Literally 10 mins between ordering and noshing on some steak cut chips. The schnitty was excellent. House crumbed in panko breadcrumbs it was fast and furious. The grilled chicken burger was also good. Very generous serve with juicy chicken fillets and a big ol slice of pineapple. Will definitely be back....

I had the gain prawns, hubby had the rump. The food was good and tasty. Reasonably priced. If you want good food this place is it, if youwant great food this probably isn't it. Overall though it was good.

Went to Chindurah Pub today for the first time and it was good. Food was great pub food, service was great and it was busy. When a place is busy, it means it's good. Will go back again when we are in the area next time.

Stunning views of the mighty Tweed River. An older country type pub with one of the most fantastic views of the river. Friendly staff, cold beer.

Pleasant place midweek, busy weekends. Acoustics can get loud with revellers despite being outside. Food ok. Needs menu updated. My food overcooked

Brilliant meal had here the other night. We had two chicken schnitzels with garlic prawn toppers, chips and salad and seafood linguine. All meals were quick out and delicious, great seafood, very fresh and a good amount in the linguine.

It is very easy to exit the motorway. There is heaps of parking. The staff were very friendly even though it was very busy. There were plenty of choices to sit and I ate overlooking the creek on the covered deck. I had the special of coconut crumbed local whiting. It was delicious and a very generous portion.

Great food, great service, friendly staff. The only thing is I would not be allowing children to run freely in the smoking area. This needs to be policed better.

Good food, quite hot on the deck though. If you order the kids meals double check with them on ordering. We ordered the kids spaghetti and was actually a creamy carbonara and they put cracked pepper on both of them so neither could sure them.

Such a lovely place. Meals were amazing considering they are above average price for pub grub. Very well worth the prices. Great vibe from the staff and patronage. Nice and clean too. We sat on the front deck overlooking the water. Very enjoyable visit.

400 gram Nolan's rump steak is the best steak anywhere in the country by a long shot. Always a great place to go.

Great spot overlooking the water, had the 400gm rump, great cut of meat albeit a little overcooked (ordered m/r got m/w). Pepper sauce so, so but it's a pub what do you expect? Friendly staff, good atmosphere, will return.

Food and drink on the expensive side. Great atmosphere. Most seating outside and covered. I recommend booking and wearing comfortable shoes as car park is uneven and you may have to park on a grassy area.

Conveniently located just off the Pacific Motorway, this is a great place to stop for a meal and casual drink. It has frontage and views of the Tweed River. I've been a regular diner for a couple of years, and the food and service is consistently high standard. I ordered the 200g rump steak with mushroom sauce with vegetable upgrade.
