My usual half way stop between Brisbane and the Gold Coast for a Thursday night feed and a pint. Food is always awesome and even though it gets super busy, the meals come out pretty quickly. Good selection of beers and the staff are really friendly. Most of the locals are always up for a chat. A really nice suburban pub.

Really nice and clean establishment. Our party of six went for a Friday lunch. The tavern was busy, but due to design it still seemed quite roomy. The staff are friendly and the service quick relative to the amount of patrons. You simply can't go past the lunch menu. Pricing is great and the variety of choices enough to satisfy everyone. We had 5 of the 8 or so dishes available at our table and there wasn't a complaint about any!

The meals here are very good - last night we had Harissa Pork Chop - wow what great flavours! The citrus sauce was amazing and the Yoghurt style cooled the Harissa. Well done Chef👍.

We had booked a table for fathers day and we were glad we did as it got really busy. But we could see why, the food was absolutely delicious! It ticked all the boxes for our family from wide selection of food, good prices, indoors in the cool and had a playground for our toddler while we waited, which wasn't long at all! Will definitely be going back!

Food was great when we ate here the first few times but slowly quality has gotten worse and worse. Salad might aswell be coleslaw, chips are hit and miss all on the one plate, bacon isn't cooked and might aswell of given me a full onion to eat. Disappointing when it was once by far the best place to eat in the area

Out for Dinner & drinks with family last Friday.The Espresso Martini delicious 😋 We waited over an hour to find our order got miss-placed by new staff, however was impressed with how Senior staff/Management delt with our situation, not only bringing 4 baskets of fries while we waited but also refunded our meals. Apriciate this gesture as other places dont do this & because of this reason we will definitely be back. To top it off the food was absolutly amazing, huge serves even the kids meals.

The meals were very generous and delicious. The service was quick and friendly.

Pretty standard fare for an establishment in a largecshopping centre with a captive audience. Lots of retirees enjoying the 10% discount. A good range of beers on tap but I've never been in a pub or tavern that had no squash. Staff were friendly and there were plenty of seats available. The chips were next level great. Crunchy, well seasoned and tasted of potato in the soft pillowy centre. BUT and yes it's a BIG but, the steak sandwich, which was apparently rib fillet according to the menu, was tough, small, grissely and tasted a lot like blade steak in texture and toughness. The Turkish bread could've been ok if it'd been toasted on a clean grid, instead of tasting like it'd never been cleaned. At $17 it appears to be value but unfortunately it wasn't.

Lunch specials Monday to Friday are good value. Took my senior parents for meal and they enjoyed the food. My wife and I were disappointed with the chilli and prawn pizza as there was maybe 4 prawns on the whole thing and it was $29. Play find the prawn in the photo like we did.

We are locals and do like the atmosphere however it's a miss and hit with food service. This time it was a big miss. Food was tastless and chips cold and terrible. Expensive Ribs, steak sandwich and chicken pamayana and pasta were not seasoned. We couldn't finish our meals as we were dissatisfied. Maybe next time the food will be more satisfying. Sorry guys.

First time and very impressed. All the staff were happy and provided great service. Menu was extensive and can't tell you how happy we were to see some different food to the standard pub menu. Food for a table of 12 was on point. In a group of usually hard to get 100% consensus on food quality, pleased to say this was achieved today. Great night out with clients for dinner, meals were well presented and cooked perfectly. Big shout out to Sarah behind the bar, who greeted and attended to us during our evening. For friendly first impressions and professionalism she needs to be acknowledged. Will definitely return and recommend.

Ordered this absolutely delicious looking mexican parmigiana, just to cut in open in the middle and it’s COMPLETELY RAW. Most of the inside was all red and pink, that even the waitress who we gave it back to was in complete shock when she saw the state of the parmigiana. Although they did provide us with a free meal to replace it (which I was very grateful for), I was still completely distraught by this experience. I definitely do not recommend this place, but if you do go, make sure to check your chicken before you eat it! Apart from this, we had a great time.

I enjoy coming here but the last 2 times I have been here the food has missed the mark. Medium rare steak that wasn’t quite medium rare and came out cold, was overcharged at the bar then refunded after I enquired. Not a reflection on the overall experiences I have had here which are usually great, just a couple of minor issues on an individual level that can be improved.

Best meals around. Very decent servings, great tasting and well priced. Super friendly staff. Id like to keep it a secret so it doesn't get to busy, but that would be selfish, the busier it is the hope that they keep the great value.

Had dinner last night Ordered the warm winter salad $25 with extra chicken $6 First impressions when the salad arrived was very underwhelming and disappointing. The portion was so small, perhaps like a side portion with no dressing on it, only a few bits of roasted vegetables on it. Looks like a kitchen hand that made it. Come on guys For a total of $31 salad It could have been made better! Very very disappointing For this dish i am giving you 3/10

Great place to eat, all the staff were very welcoming. Definitely value for money. Hubby really enjoyed his mushroom sauce. Kids menu was perfect. Very busy but standard was excellent. Will be back.

I visited this place for an expo, and decided to stay for lunch. As was pleasantly surprised by the menu, and the food. The staff were pleasant, and always smiling. It made me feel very comfortable, to be in such a positive place

The tavern was very busy on a Saturday but we had booked so there wasn't a problem. The table we sat on (18 or 19) was a bit wonky, and moved and shook our drinks around everytime we moved our hands or arms. The menu was great and had lots to choose from. The prices were reasonable and the meal sizes were good too. Waiting in line to order, I noticed a lot of meals getting served and they looked great. The meals took a while to arrive, around 30 to 40 minutes. I had the beef brisket burger and it was delicious 😋 it was very difficult to eat and fell apart as I ate it, so mostly I ate it with a fork and knife. The beef was so good. The parmigiana was a great serving, as was the fish and chips. I would have liked some sauce with the chips.

Went for a lunch with an elderly relative. Entry flat surface no issues for wheelchairs. Menus are on the left near the front door. Took them self directed to a table. Chose outside there is a childrens play area there so a bit of noise but is still pleasant to sit outside. Lots of seating inside again all good for wheelchairs. Easy to order at the bar area one till for food other for drinks. You collect your cutlery at that area, I had my handbag with me to help juggle them. Table service was very efficient with food arriving quickly. Ordered fish and chips. Menu selection for lunch was good and reasonably priced with seniors discount. Two pieces of fish not big ample serve of chips and nice side salad with dressing served with lemon slice. To be honest very good value for money and the salad was lovely to accompany. Yes will be bringing my relative back as both enjoyed the meal. Kitchen you can see when serving was very clean, neat tidy. Well done to staff and venue. See you again soon.

If you need a pits stop I suggest the Pimpama Tavern!!

Nice big, fresh, family-friendly casual pub. Good menu, tasty food served quick. Not cheap, but my husband said that was more than fine because the food was good. The Pokie room is ok, bit loud, but nothing too bad. Car parking is great.

Lunch was a very good price. Steak sandwich on Turkish. Steak was thin like a sizzle steak. Bit dry however good for price I guess. Forgot to say no BBQ sauce. Chips were extremely nice. Staff was pleasant and attentive

One of the most enjoyable meals my husband and I have had since visiting the Gold Coast. An extensive reasonably priced menu and the Lamb Shanks (in particular) comes highly recommended 👌

My wife and I ordered the $22.00 fish and chips (as a take-away meal) and it looked like 3 kids meals combined with a terrible side salad. The first two photos are from their google menu, the third photo is the fish and chips she received (salad not included in our photo) with no lemon or seasoning. It tasted terrible and we did not eat it. We have been regulars for over 12 months, have had many lunches and dinners there, and have given up on eating a nice meal at this place. Pimpama Tavern is overpriced, poor quality, and badly needs to improve their customer service and customer relations. The online photos of their adults fish and chips are misleading (photo 1 & 2). We phoned to ask for two half-price replacements but decide that even if they accepted our compromise or gave us two free replacement meals, that we would still be disappointed with the quality. We would not recommend eating at this establishment.

The pork ribs are succulent and fall apart. 5/5 Carbonara was delicious. 5/5 Nice cozy place to take family for good ole fashioned pub/tavern food

Food was great. Decent portion sizes, all came our together, hot and correct. Staff in the restaurant were very friendly. Covid protocols correctly enforced.

This tavern, like most, is separated with pokies and gaming and a family restaurant eating area. The kids play area is small. The tavern is situated in a mall parking area. Lots of parking available. The restaurant is clean and well laid out. Large screens for the footie. The venue can accommodate large events. Wheelchair friendly. Staff are helpful and friendly. There is a cover seating area outside. ATM on site.

I've been here once before and lunch was great, I had the steak and it was cooked perfectly, medium. Tonight when I ordered the reef and beef medium, I was surprised to see it was rare at best. Very pink and bleeding lots, so was my dads. These things happen, sent it back. The kitchen then charred the outside and gave it back. They seemed upset by to have to fix the error. It was obviously a high heat due to the black outsides and the inside was still undercooked. Just not impressed with the lack of professionalism . Wait staff were lovely. Will try again.

Huge meals, very good and was perfect as we were very hungry! Had parmies, both our meals were very good. Easy to park and the staff were helpful, it is a nice clean and tidy venue.
