My
wife
and
I
stayed
here
after
a
wedding
instead
of
driving
2
hours
to
get
home.
The
disappointment
started
almost
straight
away.
When
we
arrived
at
reception
at
12.10pm,
stood
there
for
a
good
30
seconds
before
finally
being
acknowledged
by
the
person
behind
the
desk.
There
was
no
smile
or
a
'Hello'
or
anything,
just
a
'can
I
help
you?'.
We
knew
we
could
not
check-in
to
our
room,
we
did
not
want
to,
we
just
wanted
to
get
our
room
key,
however
on
asking
we
were
abruptly,
almost
rudely
told
that
we
were
unable
to
check-in
until
2pm,
this
was
repeated
2
or
3
times....ok
whatever.
We
continued
to
smile
and
be
polite
through
the
next
4
or
5
minutes
until
we
got
our
key.
We
were
surprised
when
we
learnt
that
there
was
no
toilet
or
shower
in
our
room
and
had
to
use
shared
amenities.
I'll
admit,
we
probably
overlooked
that
while
booking
so
likely
our
fault
and
in
honesty
if
we
realised,
we
would
not
have
booked
there.
We
went
downstairs
to
the
bar/bistro
for
lunch
and
it
was
delicious,
encountered
3
bar
staff
and
they
were
extremely
friendly
and
helpful.
Upon
arrival
after
the
wedding
we
found
to
room
to
be
tidy,
but
the
aircon
was
really
noisy
when
we
had
the
heater
which
was
needed
because
the
blanket
was
way
too
thin.
The
amenities
were
clean
that
night
but
by
morning
3
of
the
4
toilets
had
pee
all
over
the
seats
and
floor,
the
4th
toilet
was
out
of
order,
assuming
it
was
kids.
I
would
totally
recommend
the
bar/bistro
but
I
after
the
greeting
at
reception,
or
lack
thereof,
I
couldn't
recommend
accommodation,
unless
you
are
getting
drunk
downstairs
and
need
somewhere
to
sleep
it
off.
