Normally a pretty good meal is served here, but tonight I ordered the catch of the day (snapper). Whilst the meal itself was good, I found a small piece of hard plastic in my meal, about 1cm long. I informed the waitress and she replied “oh okay”. I unfortunately did not finish the meal due to this issue and was also not offered anything in lieu. Not even a sorry. Quite disappointed in the service tonight.

Another great dinner for my partner and I. I had my usual Thai Beef Salad and partner had the soft chicken tacos. She gave them a 9 possibly a 10. I have never heard her go over a 6 anywhere 😄. Great food, great ambience and location. Staff can't do enough for you. Very welcoming and this will be a regular visit from now on. Good work. Highly recommended

The service and location are both exceptional. I have never been dissatisfied with the meals here. Plenty of parking within The Grand car park. Both walk-ins and bookings are welcome.

Hello I’m a regular customer for lunch at Kokonut Willy’s… The meals are great and the atmosphere also great…oh and service also.. The only problem I have is it always very warm and humid in the summer months. I understand it’s an open space restaurant, but have you ever considered put in a mist system. There’s one at a restaurant Koi in Broadbeach, and is fantastic as it keeps the air cool without wetting customers. I think this would just top off yr restaurant as well as bringing more customers in , just to experience it…. I was told about Koi…. That’s why I went. Great meals, great atmosphere and the misting fans… I definitely enjoyed it. Something to maybe consider and thks for reading…

An unexpected arvo outing to this lovely gem. The lunch was awesome and tasty. The pictures do justice to our meal. The staff were great and the service was equally great. Highly recommend this place. The location is ace, on the beach front.

Interrogated at the door by a female security on arrival with half a dozen other security standing around also. When we said we have a dinner reservation were told we can enter the public bar and walk around or go in through the side door directly, however 2 large bouncers stood in the doorway chatting away and oblivious to the 5 people trying to use the door behind them. Most of the staff had no idea about any of the menu, ordered the fairly expensive pork ribs, received what can be best described as something from an old footy club Tuesday night special $10 pork chop tougher than an old boot and took a chainsaw to cut. Tried to make the best of it but only got halfway through. Waitress returned it and cane back with saying the "chef" asked if I want him to put more sauce on it and cook it some more? How is cooking an already over cooked meal going to fix it I'll never know. While experience was horrible I know now why the hotel had such a bad reputation.

Went to restaurant for dinner with family. What a waste of money I ordered the lamb shanks, but they we’re so tough the meat couldn’t come off the bone. Informed the waitress who was lovely, of the issue and was given another meal only to have the same problem. Very disappointed and won’t be eating there ever again. Also informed the manager who was totally uninterested, and only worried about the bill being paid. Not a great experience. Don’t waste your money. Go somewhere else.

Average food and average service Booking with the family of 8 for 8pm, was told they are closing at 9pm, so please order promptly. Meals were staggered, not all come together, average taste Half way through meal at 8:30pm, the bill was dropped at our table saying they needed to close up, asked for another round of drinks, was told to purchase them from the bar, but we are welcome to sit here for as long as we want…… never again

Good option for casual dining. Service has always been consistently good and the wine has a decent variety and length. Menu seems large and varied, but been here twice and ordered completely different meals within our group and had good food both times! Nachos, garlic pizza, burger, seafood basket and chips were all good. An great place for lunch or dinner with good views.

Nice dinner there. Everything seafood in the menu there is divine. Maybe they get a regular Challis delivery? So next time I go there I will stick to seafood because my lamb shanks didnt fall off the bone. Did request broccolini instead of peas for my main. Considering broccolini is all over the rest of the menu I don't think they should charge extra for that seeing the pricing is already quite high.

Food was ok. Service was very average due to it being a very busy night and they were clearly understaffed. Very noisy environment resulted in orders being misunderstood and arriving late after a number of requests.

Really good food however the service wasn't great. Mains came out within minutes of starter they forgot one meal. Will go back because the food was really good.

The food was good the service was great but just a bit slow on the uptake. We had a table of 12 and we got our meals nearly together. The waitress did her best to accommodate. We booked our table so they knew we were coming. Just a bit slow initially. Would eat there again.

Came for lunch and it was very good. Good menu, fairly priced, good service, went with some friends and split bill was allowed. Great spot and was perfect for the very wet day when we were there.

Such a shame, have been here a few times, mostly the meals are ok, big potions served. But in my opinion you're meal is only really hot if it's a dish that is deep fried, everytime I've ordered anything with Mash and veg, its cold..so same with Sunday evening. Husband had a Burger which he described as just OK, the other 3 meals were cold, i sent mine back, it was returned hotter but still not hot enough. I won't waste my money here again. Funny thing is on the menu it states that ALL the dishes are prepared fresh so your meal might take some time to arrive, so why after we ordered, did everything arrive literally 5mins after the waitress had walked away?? If you want poorly microwaved food come here, that's basically what's getting served mostly. Location is nice, but staff don't care, no apologies or anything. You can't find a waitress if you need anything you literally have to flag one down. When my replacement meal was bought to me, the waitress didn't come back to check all was ok, literally no service, take your order, bring your food and that's it. Go to Maccas instead, cheaper and the same quality of food and service. I gave 3stars mostly for the location and ambience of the restaurant but 1 star for the food and staff.

We haven't been here lately as we had 2 bad experiences (food wise).. but now we decided to return (after all we like the spot and we used to come over at least twice per month).. For this time my 5 stars are back. Lorine is amazing. We always knew that if we go a bit early she would attend to our table. She never disappoint.. she is always polite.. knows all answers and everything... This time we also had Victoria who was excelent as wel.. happy to be back ...the food is great again.. and the sticky date puddin was divine.

Do not eat at the restaurant, I ordered the salmon with bad tasting Asian sauce, rice over cooked, it's was the worst meal I have ever had. My husband ordered the roast lamb, and it had no flavor, just straight out of the freezer, Should have known when the meal was served within 5 minutes after ordered. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I COMPLAINED TO RESTAURANT MANAGER, HE NEEDS TO TRY THE FOOD, IT'S DISCUSSING

Came here with my family twice on our holiday and we highly recommend it. The service is fantastic & the food which always came out quite quickly was delicious & great sized portions. Will definitely come back next time we’re up here!

We were there with 2 other couples. I had the calamari salad, which was nice, my husband had lamb roast which was full of gristle. When he mentioned this, the staff said - thanks for letting us know. I ordered flat white and got something inbetween flat white and cuppacino and most of all our coffees were only warm. Great staff working there! 😊

My daughter is on a special diet and requested a custom meal. She was served a regular meal, most of which she couldn't eat. Not only an appalling waste of food, but she spent the night throwing up. Do better!

This place guarantees you great experience, service and food. We've been going there many times in last 10 years, always having one particular meal - seafood basket, and astonishingly, the quality and taste never changed. Super yummy and makes you wanna visit the place again and again. I am sure that other meals are equally yummy, yet seafood basket for us made us not wanna try anything else. Absolutely recommended! Hands down..🙌💗

So a friend and I have been here twice in the last two months and I should have learnt from our first visit when my reef and beef meal was lack luster and not worth the trip I said nothing as it may had been an off night. The next visit I had the absolute worst parmy I've experienced in my life and when I brought it up when paying I was ignored by the young bloke ringing up the bill which I was charged eleven dollars over my actual total for what he then blamed on our fantastic waitress who I couldn't fault in anyway. So after he had sorted my eleven dollar refund I once agian brought up how it was the worst parmy ever to his reply being I was not the first too say that. I then said that I won't be back and his reply was that's fine. I get I'm one patron of thousands but I'm only trying to help with positive criticism. This place used to be fantastic but has really gone downhill with rubbish food and sticky tables so maybe give it a miss

My husband works away, so this was the first time in months we'd been together & were able to go out for dinner. What a disappointment. During Covid, I can understand waiting for orders, lack of staff etc. What I don't tolerate is food being served stone cold, dripping in fat, our mould in our salad. Sadly, all three things occurred. The staff didn't seem to care too much. I still paid a $40 bill, and went home on an empty stomach. Furthermore, the staff remaining, don't know how to wear a mask properly. We all have jobs, we all have to wear masks - do the right thing guys. This place has been our local for some time, but I won't be wasting my money there any time soon. Incredibly disappointing.

Upon initial inspection of the menu I was excited at the range of seafood on offer for a pub. Ordered the chilli prawns which were great but only got what seemed to be 2 thimbles full of rice to accompany it. I should have ordered a side with this meal.

It's been a while since we were here, and now I wonder why it took us so long to come back. Our food was superb, I had an Aussie Burger, and my man had a steak sandwich, both of which were huge and delicious. We'll be back!

This place is amazing. The food is off the hook delicious. We had my hubby's work party here a couple of weeks ago and it was awesome. Great atmosphere. The steaks are fall apart in your mouth tender. Will be back for sure.

Be ready for a large meal... beautiful setting outside, friendly staff. We then went over to the lounge area and sat in the sun for a drink afterwards.

My family and I came here last month for a birthday dinner and we all enjoyed our meals very much. Great portions for the prices we paid and our waiter had exceptional service and was sweet. Kokonut Willys is a lovely restaurant situated by the water with beautiful views. We would definitely visit again!!

Bar service was good but with a group of 8 and when food was ordered all at the same time it was not served at same time. My meal went cold waiting for some of our group to get their meals. Disappointing

Great food with a pleasant outlook over the park to the water. Staff very attentive. We had chicken schnitty with Mexican topper & Beef burrito with sour cream & guac. Generous servings. We’ll be back!

Tried the “Mexican meat pizza special”. Definitely not special. Last meal out, filling missed the burnt edges by 3cm. The menu read nice but the result definitely wasn’t what was expected. Everyone else had received their meal so didn’t want to eat alone. Being a local there are plenty of other restaurants that far surpass this poor quality food. Suggest you look elsewhere if considering kokonut willys.

Went there today for lunch. Menu is large. Disappointed in the fish burger. Bun was stale, ( was told ‘sorry about that’, was not offered anything in leiu) fish wasn’t freshly crumbed. Can make better at home. American hamburger was ordinary. Rissoles and mash was nice and Caesar salad was nice. Overall, ok, wouldn’t bother going again.

Nice food, but expensive. The prices have definitely gone up as I paid $48 for a small 200g steak, 6 prawn toppers, chips and salad.

Beautiful meal with a delightful waitress (Paige) who was fun to deal with. Huge menu so am definitely going back to try out something different. Well worth going for a meal.
