We had a lovely time here. The staff were excellent. The meals were large servings and quite flavoursome. If you're from out of town I recommend parking at Bruce Bishop on Beach Rd and taking the tram two stops south

First time at the Northcliffe surfy (29th/30th Oct) and had a good time. Went 3 times over the 2 days for 2 brekkys (Big Brekky and Eggs Benny on a croissant) and dinner (Linguine and Parma). Overall quality of food was good. However had a hiccup Saturday morning where the sourdough and bacon were as hard as the table top. Would prefer an option to have bread that isnt stone hard. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Better on Friday morning than Saturday. However didn’t follow up after meals were delivered. Coffee was bang on and tasty. Would go back on my next trip, but I hope they bring something different to the menu. Nothing jumped out at me hence why I ended up going for Parma. Also an excellent view of the beach!

A really nice local place, always very busy. Great ocean views, lovely atmosphere, quick service, and fresh tasty food. It's nice to be seated in the bar area when the windows are open. I really enjoyed the seafood basket.

Our Family had the best time celebrating my birthday weekend in GC. The staff are the friendliest people we've met. What a beautiful location with a family orientated atmosphere. They gave us discounts and quality delicious food. Value for Money!! The view of the ocean day or night is Stunning and Calming. We loved our trip to Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast. We will be back. 🩷😁👍

Had breakfast here on a recent holiday to the Gold Coast. Friendly service. Good selection of food with seating available inside and outside on the decking. Great views of the beach. Coffee was good. Breakfast was very good. Well worth a visit.

Nice club, great view. Vegan burger was tasty. Beach not so busy compared to Surfers. Has a lift for Wheelchair access

Lovely and welcoming staff who accommodated us, even though they were fully booked for lunch. Food was quite good. Seafood basket, BMD burger, kids spaghetti + a small selection of starters were had; overall very tasty, and good portion size. Price was a little high but overall absolutely worth it. We had a few cocktails; *something* Spritz (sorry I can’t remember the name..). They seemed a litttle pricey until they arrive at your table. It was HUGE! A very tasty concoction! The view of the beach is perfect, providing a wide and unobstructed view. I took a photo but it didn’t do it any justice.

We had our Mothers day lunch here and the place was very busy. Luckily we had a reservation. We were seated next to the window overlooking the beach. The staff were probably the friendliest I have experienced in the Gold Coast- everyone I dealt with was super helpful and nice- nothing was a bother to them. The food was delicious and a good serving. All in all, a perfect way to spend Mother's day! We will certainly be back (oh, and try the Barramundi curry, you wont be sorry you did)

Great food, not stingy in the quantity and the quality was just amazing; wonderful staff, gracious, polite and friendly. Thank you, we had a momentous 21st party. Highly recommend this place the ambience, the decorations all made for a special night.

On holiday from Sydney. Phoned reservation before we left NSW. Excellent place for a family birthday celebration. Food was excellent and came out hot and quickly. Great customer service. They ensured balloons were placed on the table and that the cake came out with a candle. Son was very happy! Will definitely be back when we are next on holiday at Surfer's Paradise! Thank you again!

Food portions were good value for money. Kids meals were of a good size also. Kids ice cream was huge! Very accommodating for large groups. Happy to let us have a cake and celebrate. Some staff had a sour face however others made us feel very welcome. Food tasted great and was presented nicely.

Absolutely delicious! Very generous portions, and such a wonderful location! (And the staff - shower friendly and kind!) Had the BMD Burger, and it has just the right amount of filling, sauces, and sides. Just loved it! But the winner for me was the salt and pepper calamari with the red curry aioli. This was just divine! Thank you for a lovely meal, I hope to be back again soon!

Great food and lots of choices for tap beer and let's not forget the view! Weather permitting grab a table on the balcony (no booking required out there) and you have the best seat in the house. If heading there in a busy day and not planning on sitting outside make a booking or miss out. Only small criticism is food prices, using the 'Parma barometer' for reference, $29 is pushing it for a surf Life saving club.

Such a great place to dine in! Delicious food nicely plated, kind and enthusiastic team and not to mention the spectacular beachfront view from your table!! What an awesome combo making such a perfect ambiance to dine in whether it be for brekky, lunch or dinner!

Had xmas party there, food great, delivered to 55 people in great time. After, Waited out front for a taxi, staff member Amanda gave us a lift back to hotel, above and beyond duty. So caring and appreciated. Thanks again Amanda . Staff like her are rare.

Went and had a beer here Friday afternoon... what a great spot,beautiful views and great location... and nice cold beer🍻🍻 had a blast Just a shame I had to drive... thanks for that Dannielle.🤔🤔 but in all seriousness definitely will be back and will be sure to take family and friends when they come to visit...

Great hidden gem to drop in for a quick drink or a light lunch, membership available, very good food, and a good selection of beers, wines, etc. conveniently walking distance from the tram stop, or walking on the beach walking trail, halfway between Surfers and Broadbeach. easy parking close by, and welcoming staff to great you.

Great location, right on the beach. Always good value food and drinks with friendly service. If you are visiting the Gold Coast for at least a couple of days, it's easy to join and great value.

Really busy place, we went for Saturday lunch and the place was heaving 😄. So we were very happy they found us a table for 3 not to far from the windows. As the view is awesome (so if you want a table next to the window then book in advance). My only real gripe is having to order your drinks separately from your food at a different place, hence my 4 stars instead of 5. It means you have to queue up twice. I am not sure why they can't take your drink order with your food order? Anyway after queueing up twice (the food actually came out before we had placed our drink order, just to give you an idea of how long the queues can be 🙂). But the food once ordered came out super fast it was well priced and a really good size meal (very tasty as well). My other half could not finish her S&P squid and said she should've ordered the entrée size. My kid had the kiddies cheese burger combo and couldn't finish all the chips etc... but had room for the gelato scoop at the end 😄. We go here quite often when we holiday in the GC, most often for brekkie. So we will be back. Note this place I think is better value than the Surfers Paradise surf life savers club further down the road I.e. near Cavil Road. Just my opinion, both do excellent food just Northcliffe is a bit cheaper and meals seem to be a bit larger!

we had such a lovely lunch at the BMD Northcliffe Surf club! Food was absolutely delicious and the service was friendly and prompt. The environment was clean, spacious and very relaxing with full view of the beach. We would definitely visit again !

Wife and I dropped by for lunch. Wife had sausages/mash and was fabulous. My pepperoni pizza was fine but looking at all the passing dishes I will try something different next time. Prices are very reasonable, staff excellent and location superb.

The seafood basket was absolutely horrible!! Great chips but the prawns, scallops and the calamari must have been from yesterday and fried at least three times!!! The fish was a bit better but.... Just to pass on what I mean: after two hours I still couldn't digest the food and had to throw it out!!! The staff was super nice and the service really good. The location is fantastic but I think it's very expensive for the quality.

I come here a lot, pretty good atmosphere and the food is good too. But what they did with the smoking section is woeful. No tables to place your drink. Glass drinks now where we can put them. Unsafe. Here’s mine.

Great surf club, really nice atmosphere, delicious meals, huge portion sizes, very quick service and good prices. Would definitely recommend lunch here overlooking the beach.

Went there for an engagement party where they had the balcony area reserved, served finger type food of good quality, great location as well.. highly recommended for your event

Food never disappoints and the views are incredible right on the beach. The pork belly stir fry is absolutely amazing. I highly recommend to anyone! Breakfast (pictured) was phenomenal as well. Came out very fast. Fresh juice was also perfect and a good size.

This place is excellent. The service was great despite the place being very busy. Then when we got the food every meal was good. Linguine, parma, seafood basket and salmon all highly recommend!!

My family and I had breakfast at BMD Northcliffe Surf Club yesterday and it was the best experience we have had at a surf club and we live on the Sunshine Coast. The staff were very friendly and the service was 100%. Our meals were on the table almost as soon as we sat down. Great club giys and gals you should be proud. We will definitely be back.👍

Love this place, it is my local go to for stress free lunch or dinner with the family including 2 kids, there is never an attitude, always super friendly and accommodating, the meals are always consistent good quality which is not always the case with surf clubs. I am slack with making bookings etc, but I have never been turned away, unlike other local surf clubs, they always try to fit you in! When it comes to surf clubs, this one is the best around.

Went for dinner last night and had the Pad Thai and I must say, it was fantastic. Full of chicken,prawns and noodles. Tasted great. The staff were also very nice and polite. Loved the restaurant as well. Nicely renovated.Top spot for dinner. Thanks guys.

This is the best SLSC on the Gold Coast. Great athletes and enthusiastic supporters! The food and beverages are great quality. If you want to hold a function… top spot of the deck! Rain, hail or shine it’s definitely the place to sit and have a coffee and soak up what the GC has to offer ! Luv luvv😻
