We booked a weekday lunch for 27 people so was expecting some issues. However, the entire experience was amazing. Welcomed in, quick service, food came out quickly and it was delicious. Amazing view to top it off

Views were spectacular! Food was AMAZING! Atmosphere was great! Pricing was fair! Staff were attentive! Will be back!!!!! Gluten free options on menu, although not many.

Went here for dinner with family and joined the TRIVIA on every WEDNESDAY. We ordered our food and drinks by scanning the app of the restaurant, just easy. Lots of choices from the menu for everyone. The good and drinks came fast and we were all happy with the potions and they’re all tasty. We played the trivia as a team while enjoying our dinner, it’s so excited. At the end, our team won 1st runner up and was awarded a $20 voucher and a few stubby holders which was great! We had a fun night! The staffs were friendly and the food was good price! If you are interested in Trivia, come and enjoy, you won’t be disappointed!

Great view and large windows. Nice selection of shared platters and enjoyed the choice of high or low tables. Bonus that one can grab a take away cup of coffee, which was perfect. Beach and park right next to it. Found it strange they don’t do pizzas nor fish and chips though.

A special birthday dinner on a Saturday night, window table for 5;pity was there are no lights playing on the surf just out front, and one wouldn't know it was there. Pleased to say we all did enjoy our main meals. Most had steaks and they were tender and tasty. Deserts also delicious. Mains are substantial which was appreciated. Must have a lunch here and enjoy the view.

We had lunch here last week and the staff were incredible. We didn't make a booking however they did their best to accommodate our needs and got us a table. Rob one of the staff members went over and above. We will definitely be back.

When we questioned a meal served. We were told that is how it comes and we will not enter into any discussion over it. Extremely dissapionted we asked for a manager. We were informed I am the manager. Tried again to explain our reasoning for being unhappy and was totally ignored. Sad as we have dined at this venue for over 20 years hopefully it will improve.

Located beside the beach. Plenty of parking outside the club. Seems like a saving club with a lot of history. You can see a lot of pictures inside the club like how it all started. The staff are friendly. Food is not that bad. You can have a meal and a drink while looking at the beach there. Good environment. Overall it is good

Visited on a Wednesday night. Trivia, bit noisy in main area, but staff took us to a quiet room. Good food and friendly service. Sweets selection good range.

We stopped here for a meal, which was not only fantastic (and very reasonably priced), but the staff were really lovely and very accommodating. A great experience - too bad that I am not a local or I'd be here more frequently!

Great venue and customer service. Unfortunately, the food wasn’t the best. We had the chefs special prawn and chorizo paella, grilled chicken burger, garlic prawns and kids fish and chips. Both paella and garlic prawns needed salt and flavour :( presentation was great though. The kiddies fish and chips was great until I found bones in it. Thankfully I found it not my toddler. The chefs were apologetic and the restaurant supervisor handled it very well. Overall it’s a great place, would definitely visit again and try other food on the menu. We held our anniversary party here in the small function room and everything was great. The staff were friendly and helpful from email communications at the beginning with the function coordinator to the staff on the night, nothing was too much for them. The room was a great size for our group and they loved the beach views from the balcony. The food service was fantastic and everyone enjoyed their meals. Highly recommend SSLSC for any function. Well set up and run by the team.

Well priced meals and amazing views . Found this place while trying to find somewhere for lunch that wasn’t too overpriced ( which is common on the Gold Coast) and have great views with lots of free parking around . Service was fine and food was great . Highly recommend.

Great location. It was busy, full of happy noisy people. Staff rushing around looking slightly harassed. Good drinks choice and interesting menu. The rice in my paella was a little too al dente

Staff were awesome, the food was sort of okish. Had the eggs Benny with bacon the muffins were cold and hard and the sauce was rather flat. It just seemed as though it was all half ready waiting for an order sort of as it also came out to quick to be fresh. Awesome location, great staff and a near perfect view.

Excellent older style club. Food was delicious and exactly what you want, really good but not to fancy. The stuffed chicken breast was fantastic and the chicken schnitty was a good old school schnitty. Well worth going for a meal and a view to be jealous of.

Would thoroughly recommend the SSLSC if you are on the Gold Coast. A great spot to hang out with friends and family, have a meal or just pop in for a drink. Great service, good quality food at very reasonable prices. So good we had dinner and lunch here during a 5 day stay at Main Beach. Greta selection of beer as well.

5 stars for everything. The food, drinks, service and the hospitality was exceptional. The staff are so happy and talkative it's just great. The prices are fantastic. Will defenatly be coming back again.

We had to walk through smokers at the front entrance and reception did nothing to move them to the regulated distance. I then ordered a calamari entree as a main. I was told it was 6 pieces of calamari and a salad. The meal arrived and the salad was completely covered in something that resembled tiny packing peanuts. There was so much of it that the salad couldn't be seen under it and obviously was inedible. An unpleasant experience.
