Huge selection of Breakfast, Brunch and lunch items. Very interesting menu and the portion sizes were huge. Very busy when we came on Good Friday. Service was prompt and efficient. Great place to people watch.

Food: We had breakfast. The dishes were moderate to high in quality, some was with little taste. To be precise the mushroom was taste nothing, no salt, pepper or butter fried. I like the fried 🍅 as side. Staff: friendly and very polite.

Ordered the slider trio, sweet corn fritters, smiley pancake, Hot Shott cob salad, chicken satay bahn mi (special) and all tasted delicious and looked impressive - especially the special. Food was served quickly, even during a busy service. Coffee was great too. Staff were also very friendly. Main thing was that their menu was very wordy and complicated and did not include photos of each meal - it made the process of choosing what to eat harder and confusing. Also, a few minor things like handing the wrong coffee to someone on our table - but to be fair, it was a very busy service and so mixups are inevitable. Overall, delicious food and great cafe to visit :)

Finally we came to this well known cafe in Main Beach for lunch. It was very busy. Food came fast but the taste was a bit average. It had the plastic curtain down on a warm day so we politely asked a staff member to open it up. The look on the staff's face was difficult. Not sure why. In the end we left the curtain as is and just finished our food asap and left. Overall to me this place was overrated. Bye!

I recently visited a Hot Shott in Main Beach and had the chance to try their Acai Bowl, Serious Burger, and Olla Caliente. The food was absolutely lovely – each dish was packed with flavor and made with care. What really stood out, apart from the delicious food, was the amazing staff. They were friendly, attentive, and truly made the dining experience enjoyable. However, I must note that the cafe was a little bit crowded, which made it a bit noisy and hectic. If you don't mind a lively atmosphere, it's a great place to enjoy good food and service. Overall, it's definitely worth a visit for the tasty offerings and the warm, welcoming staff.

After walking along the beach trail and across the park, I stopped by for brunch. The coffee was delicious and the food was delicious.

Outstanding cafe! Coffee is great, meals are good value for their size and quality. Went twice and both times everyone in the family was very happy and very full! Interestingly although they have Breakfast and Lunch options on their menu, you can order anything at any time of day which gives you more options to choose from. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and efficient. It's a busy place with good reason!

If you want a good start to the day you need to try the Hot Shott Big Breakfast. The staff are very friendly and happy to explain the menu. Quick and prompt service and very busy vibrant location.

Delicious! Every time we passed on our trip, this restaurant was packed which made us want to visit as we were clearly missing something! There is vast seating, is dog friendly, the staff were lovely and chatty, the menu has a huge choice and I can personally recommend the Eggs Benedict with Salmon. Incredible. Will definitely visit again when we're back in the GC.

Highly recommend Hot Shot! We visited here for breakfast while on a family weekend getaway! And it was amazing! The service was outstanding from the moment we arrived, the menu had so many options for kids and dietary requirements and the food came out very quickly. Can’t wait to come back again soon. I visited here with 2 friends for exploring many foods together! The conclusion is that it was more than perfect! Bagle Board is the one that I would love to have and the decoration was beautiful! Serious burger 🍔 was very harmonized with juicy burger patty! I would like recommend this menu! For Feta and Avo salad, the dressing was very new to us, so it was lined in 3rd raking in today's menu. 😅 They have just a Sauvignong blnc from NZ and it was perfect too! We enjoyed a lot until the end of the bottle with perfect cooling. We had a small episode that a insect into a wine glass and just asked to change the glass with new one, but a server changed it as well as fulling up of the glass from new bottle opening it in front of us! What an amazing and not expected service! We were all very motivated with his serving! Thank you so much for making the unforgettable memory in your restaurant! I would like to visit here definitely again! 💗

Went there for breakfast after a park run. It is located in Main Beach, Gold Coast. The coffee is good and breakfast was served quickly and food was hot too. The truffle, partisan and rosemary duck fat chips are really nice - crispy shoe string chips.

Large corner venue in a lovely area. Great vibe. We did breakfast on a busy public holiday. The wait for a table was minimal. The team are fast but maintain friendly service. The food was delicious. Well thought out menu and cooked perfectly. Can’t wait to return for lunch on the next trip.

Came for a brunch on a Saturday - wow, popular place! We were seated immediately though and the staff were friendly and attentive. The main downside was the noise - to be expected when so many people are packed in. Still, we really enjoyed our food and the serving sizes were impressive.. especially the sides! Enjoyed breakfast here with my wife and son on a Sunday morning. You cannot book and so when we arrived we were a little overwhelmed to find a queue of people waiting. Even so, within 5 minutes we were seated. Service was challenging as there seemed to be a few too few staff on the floor to take orders. Once we placed our orders our drinks arrived promptly with the meals not far behind. The meals were hot and tasty. I couldn’t resist trying the cinnamon scroll pancakes and they didn’t disappoint. Coffee was also great. This cafe is in a lovely little section of main beach, surrounded by other cafes and restaurants and other small stores and a short stroll from the water. A great place to enjoy beac lifestyle and a yummy breakfast.

We had a short walk to the outside of the V8 Supercar precinct to Tedders Avenue in Main Beach for a beautiful lunch at Hot Shotts. Service was quick and super friendly and all our lunch meals delicious. A great place to go if you are visiting the V8 races. I had the Chook Ceaser Salad Burger and my wife had the smoked trout.

Food, service and atmosphere are all 10/10! You definitely get what you pay for, all staff are sooo friendly and nice vibe sitting outside. We are from Melbourne and come here every time we are up in the coast for breakfast - definitely our go to!

All the dishes we had are beautiful especially the scramble eggs. Good combination for the cinnamon pankage with nuts, strawberry and vanilla icecream. Just a little bit sweet. The staff are really helpful and the service is excellent.

Cappuccino was nice looking but tasted pretty average, it was quite bitter. They forgot the dirty chai and we had to remind them. Hot Shott Brekkie Burger was a great way to wake up, it has the perfect amount of food to start a lazy sunday. Coffee needs work...

Let's make this clear, you can go to any cafe it seems on Tedder avenue and get a fantastic meal from our experience, but then we got a seat (finally 😊) at Hot Shott, and omg, same prices, same great staff, But....the food is simply next level of deliciousness. Always a full house, and finally we got to taste why, simply a cut above the already amazing rest, do not leave the coast without insisting a table here.

After eating trash breakfasts for our first 3 days here on the Gold Coast, we finally found this gem. Friendly prompt service, coffee and food on the table in great time, and the flavours 🤌 We will be back!

Nice cafe with excellent service and a pleasant atmosphere. The place clearly is very well-managed. It runs like a well-oiled machine. It's almost too efficient in terms of how smoothly everything operates there! The food was good and the coffee was decent. I would come back here again.

Great location great coffee, they use supreme blend! Food was really quick but the quality was lacking as mushroom and onion and bread was dripping with oil. Would recommend for the service but not the food it was to quick for it to be made to order.. but lovely staff but unfortunately wouldn’t recommend.. 5 stars for service.

We came to Main Beach and we have been lucky to find this place for a very quick lunch. The food was just amazing , tasty, fresh and colourful. Generous portions aswell. The fresh fruits juices were sensational and the staff professional. We will be back very soon.

This cafe was so full of life and the menu was so exciting with too many choices that we wanted to come back to try next time. We had the acai bowl, bagel board and the big breakfast and it was all exceptional. The value of the meals at this place is insane. The bagel board came with so much great ingredients I couldn’t believe it was under $20 (coming from Sydney). The coffee was the only let down for me during this visit. It was a bit too sour. Overall this was one of the best cafes we’ve ever been to in Australia. Definitely coming back here!!

This place was great, standard brunch quality, the service was excellent. We ordered the hottest hot brekky and the all hashed up and they were both really good. Price wise it’s a bit expensive but the vibes and atmosphere makes up for it.

I actually have to highly rate this cafe.. Why? When we rocked up there.. It was packed and people waiting and I was thinking.. Great we are going to have to wait a while. So I and a friend went to sit under a tree to wait. Within a few minutes though.. They managed to get us in. That was a pleasant surprise. The service was great. It was fast and efficient. You don't expect that from a really busy Cafe. It was packed. On top of that.. The drinks and food came out quickly! The menu was great. Enough variety for someone life me who hates small menus. The dishes were creative and looked delicious in paper. We ordered the hash cakes, the hott shot cups and the caliente eggs. All the dishes were great. I couldn't have asked for more. That's why I gave the place 5 stars. Maybe if it was overlooking the water some how...then it could improve 😂😂

I have been to more than 100 brunch cafés in the world and this has to be the best one in Australia. We went there twice in three days just to confirm it is the best! The food, coffee, and the service were all spot on! It deserves 3 Michelin stars!

Slider trio and bagel board tasted amazing. Each slider had its own unique taste and the bagel board had plenty of accompaniments. Service was quick and attentive. Overall great value and start to the day.

When home in Australia we always look for a good brunch spot and Hot Shott didn’t disappoint. The potato hash was crispy, perfectly poached eggs and a very generous amount of mushrooms which was unexpected.
