Another visit to this wonderful place. Tonight was an excellent meal starting with pork and prawn dumplings. My wife had fish cakes. They were both served with a superb salad which was so fresh and a delicious dressing. We both ordered the kangaroo fillet which was cooked to perfection and served with roasted vegetables. An absolute wonderful evening once again and this has become my number one restaurant on the Gold Coast.

What an amazing dinning experience at The Little Plate. Service and food were next level. Very highly recommend! Especially to American tourists missing the US hospitality vibes and flavors. You can seriously taste the love and effort in the food that comes out of this charming gem!

"My compliments to the chef...And now I find myself in the extraordinary position of having my waiter be the chef..." (Ratatoullie). Never thought we would experience such a delightful moment, enjoying the night, chatting away with our hosts, hearing their passion and only realising they were also our chefs when we started talking food prep. My wife and I only happened upon The Little Plate as we're exploring around our accommodation, and what a lucky find it was! Tucked away from the main highway, the venue was pleasantly cosy, the food spectacular and our hosts, Gaynor & Olivia, friendly and so accomodating. We had our eyes on so many items on their menu, and after selection, they were kind enough to inform us we had unintentionally doubled up (the salad was also a side for another dish). A quick recommendation and swap later, we were happily enjoying another great dish we were keen to try. A wonderful dinner to round out one of the last nights of our Honeymoon. Will definitely be back next time we find ourselves on the Gold Coast.

We love trying different restaurants esp out of our local area & check reviews b4 we go, but always go open minded...and yes this little hidden gem was a lovely find..the service from the 2 young waitresses was wonderful, friendly & knowing the menu very well, we were tossing up between a cpl meals & decided on totally different from what we 1st thght..we weren't disappointed as they were delicious, fresh & full of flavour, but def keen to try others on the menu also!

Had an absolutely delicious meal at The Little Plate. Ella provided excellent service and was super friendly/accommodating for the vegetarians. Could perhaps add a bit of greenery to the gnocchi just for a bit of extra pizazz - but the meal was delicious regardless. Would 100% go again and recommend to all!

Wow what a little hidden gem. We have been on the gold coast for 30 years and had no idea this was here. Loved the atmosphere. Almost every restaurant I go to I complain of bad service but this was the opposite ( thank god). The service was amazing. One waiter for the whole evening and was very attentive to our needs. We tried quite a few meals and our bill was under $150 for 2 people. So I’m very happy with the prices too. The food was delicious. It felt like a private chef cooking in our own dining room. We were talking with the other tables because of the intimate setting and it was such a great feeling. Can’t wait to go back. Sorry we didn’t get many photos. We ate 4 meals and then remembered to take a photo haha

Amazing dining! Outstanding service. Ambience spot on ie decor, music & friendly attentive staff. Food was delicious. We had the set menu and each dish was perfect. Fresh, interesting, colourful and so tasty. Kingfish dish was delightful and refreshing. Pork belly the best I’ve tasted. Attention to detail of every ingredient and harmonious marrying of every course makes this restaurant surely the best on the coast! We had to take dessert home with us as couldn’t fit it in. Went back for pizzas couple nights later! Will definitely he back!

My absolute favourite place to eat on the Gold Coast! Can’t fault it - service and food are excellent. It feels like having your very own, home cooked meal in a delightful setting. They even offered to make my favourite special pasta for me when we rebooked the following week.

The Little Plate had been highly recommended to us on numerous occasions and we were so excited to finally be able to visit. We were not disappointed. The meals were so thoughtfully prepared and were both beautifully presented and equally delicious. We struggled to chose from the amazing menu. All dishes sounded amazing. The name “Little” plate was deceptive as we found the dishes we did chose to be exceptionally good value for money given the quantity and quality of wonderful produce used. We will definitely be back each time we visit Burleigh to work our way through the rest of the menu. Highly recommend.

Whether its on their regular menu or a special, there's always something to fall in love with. A small team that delivers fantastic food and a great experience.

I went there today for a dinner. Just I can say incredible places and food. Also the customer service was friendly and helpful. We have choose a Sri Lankan seafood curry and it was just melted my mouth. Original plates and excellent chef skills. 100% Recommended.

Came for lunch and a cocktail on a Sunday afternoon. Very welcoming and the food was exceptional and the serving size was woah, generous! Am excited for leftovers for dinner tonight. Cocktails were so good. Service was so good. A great little place. You would be doing yourself a great favour by going. I had the Szechuan prawns and my partner has the mushroom pizza. We shared the broccolini and it was all excellent. 🦐🍄👌🏽 Update: the left overs were still excellent! Great place, will be back again soon! 🩷

Leaving a review as soon as we leave because this place is so good. Believe the other google reviews when they say this place is exceptional! Its so rare to dine at a restaurant like this these days where you walk away raving about how great the service, atmosphere and food is. The wait staff here are so friendly and helpful and make you feel at home. They recommended great meals (our favourite was the fish cakes and the amazing sticky date pudding). The chef (owner) even comes out and delivers food and chats to the guests. I could not recommend this place any more. 100/10!!!

First time visiting and the food was delicious. Mel, who served us for the night was absolutely amazing!! Beyond helpful and put me in stitches. What a woman. She was the best! The chef, it was his first night and the food was beautiful. He was so lovely. Will definitely be back.

We loved our first date night at The Little Plate. Service from the wait staff was attentive but not intrusive. Even the owner/chef personally came out to our table, to welcome us and check that our meals were to our satisfaction. We spoke to some other diners. They said they were regulars and that, what we were experiencing, was typical of the high standard of what the restaurant delivers. So, after our amazing meal, fantastic interactions from staff and speaking to other happy diners, we were so impressed that we made a reservation for 13 people, in September for a special celebration.

Cool little place, tucked away round the corner from the highway. Smooth cocktails and delicious food combinations. Happy to cheerfully accommodate any twists to the menu - drinks or food they can. Good atmosphere. Small is all. 😀

A fabulous date night at Burleigh's The Little Plate. We sat in the quaint and cosy courtyard with entry through the kitchen. It was a busy Saturday night and service was still attentive and friendly. The tasting menu was sensational and the accompanying French wine. Can't wait to come back again.

Our Sunday lunch for two was delicious. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. The entrees we chose were Asian inspired, fresh and flavoursome. Our main was homemade ravioli with prawns in a pesto sauce- yum! Their serves were generous and we enjoyed sharing two entrees and a main with just enough room left for sweets. Highly recommend.

If you like your steak black on the outside and bleu on the inside, not easy to get it right and gosh Gaynor presented us our perfect steak- so tender Cape Grim eye fillet perfectly accompanied with lightly garlic mash. The hummus Persian lamb stack is impressive and delicious. No wonder this place is sooo popular. Thank you

We had such a beautiful dinner here. Found it by accident...it's a lovely place, small and cosy. Delicious food and we loved that the owner/chef stopped by to say hello. We had the flat bread with tomato and basil to start with and then I had one of the specials, a prawn and eggplant Malay curry. One of the nicest meals I've had for ages. Do yourself a favour and come for dinner. Amazing cocktails too.

This place is amazing!!! First time in Burleigh and took my partner here for a birthday dinner. The service was amazing and the food was better. Strongly recommend the ricotta ravioli 🤤🤤

We ordered takeaway from here while staying nearby at Burleigh on the Beach and it was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the truffle mushroom pizza. We will definitely eat here again when we return to Burleigh Heads. Thank you!

A little gem of a find. The menu is based on share plate philosophy which is great for group dining. Our waitress was extremely good & gave us terrific intellectual exchanges between dishes. Nice atmosphere, amazing dishes,perfect presentation & very tempting desserts. The chef even visited our table which is always a great touch.

A hidden gem to say the least… My partner and I decided to try this place for a change and it was more then impressive! The food was the best food I’ve eaten out without the price tag. Flavours from all around the world and cooked to perfection. The drinks and the service is great! Intimate restaurant with good atmosphere make sure you book you won’t be disappointed. These girls know what they are doing!

Was there on my own. I do eat out alot. Had the kingfish salad, then banana prawns Szechuan style with rice and finally caramel bread and butter pudding. All delicious and very full at the end! Friendly staff and chefs...would come back but I do not live here.

Had my birthday here , they kindly sorted our table out the “back” which is my opinion is that best spot ! We had 1 gluten free and one vegetarian and the chiefs so generously gave us the set menu and created plates for our vege and gluten friends and it just made the whole experience great The food alone is enough to recommend this place over and over again , but the chiefs are wonderful the staff are equally as wonderful, the whole place is just WONDERFUL , it has a beautiful atmosphere I cannot recommend it enough ,it’s is by far my favourite spot in the Gold Coast Thanks guys for a great night If
