If you are expecting the same quality of food from this restaurant as before they shut down for a period you will be bitterly disappointed. Since it’s re opened it must be under new management and new cooks. The food was nothing like what it used to be. The cheese naan was dry and old like it was made days ago and heated in a microwave. The curry serving size is now much smaller including sauce and ingredients. The chicken was fatty and the curry it’s self was average. Considering how good this place use to be it won’t last long like this

We’re local & ordered two curries, rice & a naan for $64 last night. Expensive but we remembered Agnee was great from last time. Sadly not the case now. Must be under new management that has no idea. Takeaway containers were all half full, warm not hot. Tasted like packet sauce from a supermarket that’s been watered down & heated up in a microwave with a few scraps of the cheapest fattiest meat thrown in but mostly just watered down sauce & like I said all half full containers. Overpriced & by far worst we’ve had on the coast. Won’t be back again.

Good curry house comparible to the UK. I would have given 5stars if they served pickles with the poppadoms. The chef's special prawn curry is highly recommended.

First time, certainly not le last. The dhal was sublime, all the dishes ordered around the table were fine and elegant in taste. Vegetarian and non vegetarian food were both excellent. Fine dining / cuisine. The service was lovely. Friendly, professional and smiling. I appreciate the effort taken at not touching the glass with the jug when pouring our drinks. It may not seem much, but is rare sign of true professionalism in the hospitality industry. Thank you so much, looking forward to the next visit.

What can be said of a great place. Our friends enjoyed a meal here two weeks in a row. My darling who is not an Indian cuisine lover, enjoyed her meal. The flavours from the menu items chosen were exquisite. The Vindaloo (hot version) contained a great mix of the usual spices delicately blended with a kick to provide a great culinary experience. A must do. Don't ask why, just when! Enjoy your experience.

Best Indian Cuisine ever! I’ve been visiting this place for over 2 years and the food here is mouthwatering! Whether you prefer seafood, chicken or vegetarian you will find there a perfect match for you. The taste is unique and vibrant that is what makes me come back almost every week. My favourites are prawn masala and chicken tikka masala. Thanks a lot for the excellent quality.

Used to be a great Indian Restaurant. As other people have commented it's gone down hill dramatically since the change of ownership. The chicken korma used to be amazing it is now utterly tasteless.

DONT BUY FROM THIS PLACE, you get no meat in the dishes and it was mainly just sauce I paid $70 for. I politely rang to tell them and they argued with me trying to say there was more. After I said il take a photo and show him, he then abused me over the phone and hung up. I rang back and then they just hung up on me. There was no respect at all and I hope my 1 star rating deters people from getting ripped of like I have. This place is useless , they need to learn customer service the incompetent clowns running this place. 2 minute noodles would have been a better option

Ordered two curries and naan was $70 which was fine I’m always happy to pay more when it will be good however once getting it home the curries were all sauce with the smallest amount of meat in the container. When contacting the restaurant to see why there was barely any meat for such an above average price the staff were disgustingly rude and tried to say I was lying. I was never rude when calling just wanted to see why I had been charged so much for sauce. Not someone to complain so then being treated to poorly by the staff I was horrified this is how they run a business. How shameful.

UPDATE: restaurant closed. Seems like dumping the hot fat on the curry leaf plant (which effectively killed it) was a final act of bastardry. The fact that the new owners are clearly tipping kitchen waste (looks like fat?) onto the curry leaf plants 🍃 at the front of the restaurant, shows how little they care about authenticity, and the reputation the previous family-owner built-up over a decade. How can people be so lazy and disrespectful?

This use to be the best Indian on the Gold Coast I followed this family for years, had it tonight after it being closed for a long period of time , noticed the same older Indian man wasn’t on the kitchen and it must be new owners or something. I drove him hoping it was still delicious as we drove from Helensvale. Well just as I suspected it was HORRIBLE. I even had a chicken bone in my chicken. The naan bread was dry and hard like it came from the supermarket. So disappointed will never be back. Don’t waste your time

The cheese and garlic Naan bread was dry and burnt and lacking in both ingredients. The butter chicken I ordered has no flavour and tasted like the jar sauces they sell at woolies. I'm not sure if it's the last of the batch cause it's Sunday night but that's no excuse. For the price of $58.00 for two naan bread and two curries of poor quality it's a horrible deal. Just go to Krish

The most definitive Indian I have had in years. It’s like fine dining. Amazing curries, both vegetarian and not. Ingredients incredibly fresh and cooked with absolute finesse. Lovely chef, as well. Wow, go here now.

Agnee is hands down the best Indian restaurant on the Gold Coast and is our go-to spot for staff and business lunches in the Robina and Varsity Lakes area. The food is consistently delicious and the service is always great. The owner and Chef, Inder, is also always more than happy to accommodate any dietary restrictions.

Lovely hot food, large portions and ready on time. Slightly different flavour of food to that cooked by previous chef but still good. Thank you

Undoubtedly the best Indian cuisine on the coast so far. This one coming from a guy of Indian origin. The right blend of spices and flavours and you have authentic Indian food which is hard to come by down under. The Sheek Kabab just melted in our mouths. Definitely a must try place. Will be back soon.

This place is the worst in my experience of Indian food. The rice and meat are frozen and then heated up to produce this. Look at the orange biriyani, really, orange??? Nothing about this place is good. Over priced for food that's not of quality. Terrible!!!

We just had lunch today and both rated our meals 11 out of 10. My wife had chicken saag and I beef vindaloo. We both agreed that this was the best Indian meal we've ever had. Full marks. Highly recommended. The chef was lovely too.

Rare to find Masala dosa’s (lunch only) Home made Masala tea. Delicious! Crispy & very tasty Dosa’’s. I highly recommend this restaurant for authentic Indian food. The owner has been in this location for many years. Very nice man & master of all things in the restaurant service.

Lacking staff members! Need to hire more chefs and front of house staff. My wife and I waited for 30 minutes before we even got to order. Ended up leaving the place and going next door. Best decision ever

First time with friends and family. Definitely not the best Indian food we all tried. Service was slow. Only one waiter. Over priced. It took quite a while for our food to arrive. Butter chicken hardly any meat, watery sauce and too sweet. Maybe the Vegetable biryani was from the fridge and just heated up in the microwave and served. Never in my life seen pappadums so burnt and flat, worst I ever tried. Perhaps some people over rated this restaurant. Not value for money.

A very good Indian cuisine. Great flavours from the hot curries too, which is not easy to perform regularly. Lunch options which delight. The team were effective in their preparation and we received a visit from the Chef. Good one. Always worthy of a visit, or two.
