Absolutely beautiful food, hands down one of the best meals I have had in many years. If you have time, go the 7 course degustation option. The pork belly is THE BEST EVER!!!! I highly recommend Jimmy Wah's; great food, and super friendly staff who were accommodating to our needs and smiled all the way. Oh and the cocktails are awesome too! Thank you Jimmy Wah's!

Headed to Jimmy Wah’s Friday a week ago for a friends business Christmas party dinner. The booking process was super easy done online and confirmed quickly and even when we had additional guests added to our table the reservation team made the change easy to ensure we all were able to dine. Arrived for an 8 pm sitting having already had a few cocktails at another bar next door. The service at Jimmy Wah’s is absolutely incredible! I felt like I was having a dinner party at a friends house, our host was friendly, funny, cheeky and informative. We had the special plate menu $69 per head and a selection of plates. Because I’d already had a couple of cocktails before hand I didn’t have much of an appetite so I only managed to try the pork belly, tempura oysters and the barramundi which was amazing. I was blown away by how delicious the food was and I’m pretty sure it’s not just because I had three cosmopolitans. I really want to go back for a proper meal as I think I will have another extraordinary evening, highly recommend.

The food is superb!! When you visit gold coast, you have to eat at Jimmy Wah's. Food is delicious, service is good. A must eat menu? The caramelize pork belly and oyster tempura. Are you a vegetarian? You have to order sauteed greens and cauliflower tempura. Totally recommended. I will surely coming back again.

I was really excited to come here, however tonight’s experience has left me feeling a little disappointed. I got to my table and the waiter asked me, “still or sparkling” and didn’t give me any other options so I said “still” unbeknownst to me that I could have asked for tap water and not have to pay $7 for 500ml of water. Ultimately I have to pay for what I ordered, but it left a bad taste in my mouth because the way I was asked felt like those were my only two (expensive) options. I feel like asking “still, sparkling or tap” would have prevented the miscommunication that I’m sure other people would have. I was also disappointed with the service. We didn’t receive a warm welcome, or much attention throughout the night other than ordering our food and clearing our plates. That being said the ocean trout and fried bao dessert were the highlight of our night!

Excellent food and service. Staff are caring and helpful. $150 for 3 people including 3 drinks, 4 entrees, 1 main and rice. We all walked away feeling full and satisfied.

Super welcoming and friendly staff! Highly recommend the pork belly, pancake and fish curry!! You have to book a table!! It is super popular in this area. desert was special as well.

Finally! Someone finally had the courage to elevate Vietnamese cuisine. They did it and they did it well. Flavours were brave, punchy and bold, however somehow delicate and balanced. Who knew that chicken could be done so well. None of the dishes disappointed. Topped it off with the best evening cap of the Viet espresso..the condensed milk is a revelation!

It has been awhile since my last visit but this place is onee of my go-to fusion places on the Gold Coast. The place always delivers. Food quality is top notch, and you can never go wrong with their omakaze feed me menu. My fav dishes: barramundi curry, half chicken morning glory, caramelised pork belly, and betel leaf. The service can be hit-and-miss and bookings are highly recommended.

Called in for a quick lunch while in the area, so glad we were very impressed with the standard of food and look forward to going back to sample some larger dishes on the menu. We especially liked the soft shell crab Banh Mi

Went here a couple of weeks ago and was the best dinner I’ve had this year. Everything was perfect, from the food, to the cocktails to the service and attention to detail. Highly recommend

We came across Jimmy Wah’s last year while staying in Gold Coast, and we just had to come back again this year! Last year we did the “Feed Me” option and we were very impressed. This year we made our own version! I could not find the cocktail menu anywhere before we went, so I’m attaching a photo here. My favorite was the Vietnamese Espresso Martini. Service was also exceptional!

Il start with the positive. The mocktail I had the Jenny Wah I can honestly say was up there as one of the best Mocktails I've had anywhere in the world. I didn't feel very welcome in this restaurant and I eat out a lot. My water glass was empty pretty much my entire stay and I had to ask for assistance twice. I tried two dishes the ocean trout entree and the eggplant entree. For me they were both mediocre. I am unlikely to return. Sad because many people had recommended for me to try it.

Wonderful restaurant with modern vibes. Everything we ordered was delicious, I especially loved the bao which were soft and moist. The cocktail list was excellent and service was good. Would definitely come back again to try more of the menu.

Had an absolutely phenomenal meal at Jimmy Wah's. Started with the most flavourful Betel Leaf I've ever had, then classic Vietnamese spring rolls made with rice paper and fried served with a beautiful dipping sauce and then a perfect vegetable curry with steamed rice. The mocktail that I had was one of the best drinks I've ever had. The staff were so attentive and incredibly helpful. They even had children's options for my son. Everything was absolutely perfect and I can't wait to go back and try everything on the menu.

Each dish we ordered was delicious! I'll definitely return again. All the flavours complement each other very well, and the portions were very decent. Customer service was lovely too as they bring out the food and they describe the dish. Very friendly staff :) The tempura oyster was a stand-out! They were amazing! The fish tartare, pork belly and chicken morning glory were also very tasty. I will be back to try more dishes!

Absolutely delicious!! Flavor explosions in every bite. Delicious menu. Difficult to choose. We started with a fab cocktail. If you are coming to Burleigh you must book Jimmy Wah! Can’t wait to come back.

Great restaurant. The food was truly amazing. I personally felt the food service could be slowed down as it felt really rushed. Overall though a great place, great atmosphere, and great food. I would highly recommend it if ever you visit Burleigh Heads.

Came here for lunch with my vegan girlfriend, they have there own vegan menu and we're very accommodating in providing vegan and non-vegan options eg. The bao buns we got one vegan and one pork. Drinks were good! Service was good! And staff very knowledgeable on wines!

I was wandering around on my own as they have very restrictive & quite honestly very discriminatory rules at eateries & bars when it comes to tattoos that come onto your neck as I have & on this occasion I'm stoked they did. My friends were already at lunch so instead of asking them all to stop what they were doing I wandered around Burleigh Heads & stumbled across Jimmy Wahs Vietnamese Restaurant. Wow! Every dish was outstanding as was the service from all staff. I over ordered but had to have their monster version of a Vietnamese classic Bánh xèo. So glad I did, I only managed to eat half of it but the pancake was ridiculously crispy the pork filling perfectly seasoned, the prawns were expertly cooked, so tender and delicate. (such a welcome change from the usual chewy overcooked ones) the upside it'll be this mornings breakfast. I've started from the end of the meal as it was the highlight but the local oysters done two ways tempura with caviar & au naturel were amazing, Crispy chicken & pork nems with a lemongrass dipping sauce, Wok tossed squid & ong choy so tender in an amazing broth, & of course the Bán xéo. Cocktails were epic I had two of the Saigon Dragon an amazing concoction of lychee & dragonfruit ice-cream, soda & liqueur. If you're on the GC make a trip to Jimmy Wahs you won't be disappointed. ps. My spend was high due to the tequilas & cocktails I consumed 😁

Jimmy Wah's is a fantastic restaurant option in Burleigh Heads! The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is lively and fun. The food is absolutely delicious, with a great selection of fresh and flavorful dishes. And let's not forget about the cocktails - they were some of the best I've ever had! Each one was expertly crafted with unique and flavorful ingredients. The prices are also very reasonable and definitely worth it for the quality of food and drinks you receive. Overall, I had an amazing experience and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Burleigh Heads.

The food at this restaurant was good, but it seemed to be a mix of Vietnamese and Thai cuisine. I highly recommend trying the tempura oyster - it was really delicious. However, the rice paper roll was not outstanding, and the Vietnamese pancake was a bit bland. I feel that it had too many fresh vegetables. When I tried it with only pork larb, it was much more flavorful and tasty.

Came here for a birthday dinner with a group of 7. We did a banquet meal with lots of delicious courses. They catered well to my peanut allergy and gave us a lot of food! Pork belly was amazing!! The service was a bit slow but it was a Friday night. Loved the chili margaritas 😍

My friend and I had the most fabulous evening at Jimmy Wah's. It was the best Vietnamese food I've had since my trip to Vietnam. There was such attention to detail. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The Vietnamese espresso martini was the perfect end to a gorgeous meal.

Best restaurant on the Gold Coast. Every time we’ve been the service, drinks and food are beyond excellent. Worth every cent for a beautiful meal. They rarely change the menu - something which we are so grateful for because they really don’t need to. We’ve tried almost everything and don’t have a single fault. Thanks team! Can’t wait to come back.

Had been a few years since we last dined at Jimmy Wah’s but we had a lunch there yesterday for my husband’s birthday and it was as good if not better than we remembered. Great service, delicious cocktails and the food OMG! Ocean trout tartare (still talking about it today), Betel leaf topped with tempura barramundi, charred corn, peanuts, Wok tossed squid, Vietnamese pancake with pork larb & prawns, pickled cucumber, lettuce & herbs and a super delicious Char-grilled barramundi, snow peas, green beans, sprouts in yellow curry. Yeumm Yeumm Yeumm! If we lived closer we’d be there every week. Thank you Jimmy for an awesome experience

Jimmy Wahs was amazing! Every single dish was incredible, this was our first place to stop after arriving in the Gold Coast and we were amazed. The staff are super friendly, as soon as the food arrived we were amazed. Our highlight dish would of had to have been the Smoked Ocean Trout with the prawn crackers on the side it complimented the dish so well. We were amazed by the flavours here! I would highly recommend you check this place out!

What an absolute delight of a dining experience. We booked the 5:30 sitting at Jimmy Wahs for a festive family dinner and were blown away every step after that. It truly was a fine dining experience from the presentation of the dishes to the flawless service of drinks and recommendations from our waiter. The timing of the dishes was something that really stood out to us as we never felt rushed and were able to truly enjoy our 2 hour sitting and ponder over the amazing flavours. The staff at Jimmy Wahs are phenomenal and it really pays tribute to the saying you are only as good as your staff!! Thank you all!!!
