Kiyomi has amazing, delicious japanese food and a beautiful atmosphere! The staff were so lovely and very helpful when we had questions about the menu and portion sizes. The food arrived quickly, was presented beautifully, and most importantly tasted fresh and delicious. I would definitely love to come back again and try more from their menu!

Took my wife and kids here for a fine dining experience and boy was this worth it. Kali who was our waitress here did an amazing job taking our experience to another level in terms of service. The fine dining experience and food is probably the best modern Japanese food I have experienced. Well done to the chefs behind the scenes creating these masterpieces.

Atmosphere was dark and moody (such a vibe) Our waiter was excellent, super friendly -described every dish and also gave us advice on what to try! Every dish we had was impeccably delicious, Well worth the money :) My favourite would have to be miso glazed toothfish and the yummy Donatsu dessert. Thanks for having us, can’t wait to dine in again <3

The food here had an exquisite, well-balanced flavour, and was beautifully presented. My husband and I both concluded that this is one of the tastiest restaurants we have ever been to. Special thanks to Damir who guided us through the menu and offered some useful advice, in particular in the dessert department 😉 If I am to offer an improvement suggestion, the DJ’s music could be less loud as it did not allow to enjoy the ambiance to the fullest.

Lovely restaurant with surprisingly pleasant atmosphere. Coming here, my fiance and myself felt very welcome. The server, a nice gentleman called Jason, was polite and cordial. The food itself was exquisite. Choosing to eat the set menu, it felt very refined and fresh. Can recommend.

Kiyomi was an amazing experience. From when we first arrived we were welcomed with exceptional service. The drinks menu was outstanding and there were so many options. The food was to die for and and it definitely met all expectations. There was nothing to fault and we will be back very soon. If you are looking for great Japanese food, I highly recommend Kiyomi.

This was my first Fine Dining experience. I came with a friend and we ordered the set menu; 9 courses, $165 per head + $50 sake pairing per head. The food was incredible. Everything was cooked and plated with such love. The standouts for me were the wagyu and lamb cutlets. The sake pairings were very well selected as well. Decor and customer service was great. The atmosphere was so welcoming. Everything moved swiftly. The only issue I had with the experience was when I saw the bill and realised we were charged $22 for still-water. Is this common-practice in this part of the industry? If yes then no worries; but if not it would have been nice to have been informed. I understand that $22 pales in comparison to the other $215 I had already committed to spend, but it left me with a sour taste in my mouth. We felt a little deceived. I thoroughly recommend visiting this restaurant if you’re in the area and happy to splash out for a delicious meal. I’m still salivating thinking about the Wagyu.

Hands down, the most amazing Japanese food I've ever had! I would recommend all of my dishes that Chef Andrew had organised! It is soooo hard to choose which one was my favourite (I would recommend them all), but if I had to choose it will be the Sashimi Plate. Every single slice of their seafood you can tell that it was selected and cut to PERFECTION & the oysters was ammmmmmazing. You can just taste perfection! My husband and I aren't from the Gold Coast and rarely dine at fine dining restaurants, so Andrew created and organised these dishes for us to our liking!! The cocktails were fantastic! I would recommend the Japanese whiskey sour & the Blossom cocktail. If you don't like overly sweet alcoholic drinks, then you will love them. Our server Jacob was also very attentive, welcoming and I noticed that he would often look at our table to check to make sure that we weren't thirsty! Everything about Kiyomi and our experience was beyond 5 star. From our impressive chef, Andrew organising our tasting menu, the food, the service from Jacob & the overall experience was fantastic. My husband & I were impressed, & I will come again when I visit on holiday!

An incredible experience. Staff were welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere calming and had an intimate feel, perfect for any occasion. My partner and I ordered the chefs set menu, generously portioned and great tasting flavours in each dish. Cocktails like we have never tasted before (amazing). Highly recommend.

Went here for dinner last night. All the staff were amazing and extremely friendly. Our server was Damir who was incredible. Had amazing knowledge of the dishes and made sure we were well looked after during the night. Knew exactly what dishes we had eaten during the night and what was still to come. Food was absolutely incredible. Had the sashimi platter, the snapper tempura, wagyu flank, spicy tuna crispy rice, queensland roll, wagyu roll and prawn roll. Finished with dessert which was amazing, highly recommended you complete the night with the Donatsu! Service and food definitely amazing! Thank you to all the amazing staff and a special thank you to Damir for making the night a special one!

Beautiful atmosphere however and sadly the bar service left a lot to be desired for. We ordered these two Japanese whiskies. After they were poured and presented, we were quite rudely and abruptly informed that the advertised price was incorrect and that were to be charged an additional $5 on top of the already premium price. Not one to argue over $5 but the principle of the matter allowed me to say no you do not get to change the price after we have made the offer. The bar tender was once again quite aloof and unhelpful and made us wait 10 minutes at the bar until he could finally speak to his manager to get clarification. In the end the manager charged us the original price but with no apology for the inconvenience or even a suggestion of a remedy or even a discounted charge. As a restaurant that prides itself as one of the most prestigious and popular on the Gold Coast, I must say that I am extremely disappointed with this poor customer service experience. Especially since my wife and I travel to the Gold Coast quite often. I urgently implore Star Casino’s General Manager of Food and Alcohol service to review and rectify this extremely unhelpful and toxic culture. Due to this experience, I DO NOT recommend this bar in any way!! 👎🏽

I had a set menu, it could be better if they explain what food is served. I understand that they are busy and the place is pretty loud. However, food quality is amazing, size is pretty big. Most of staffs are friendly. Exellent food!

I had my birthday dinner here and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish with very helpful and friendly staff. I had the $150 per person set menu Drinks- Cosmopolitan cocktail could be better, it was a little average 1)king Fish, its very nice but I personally like a citrus taste more than the sauce I had 2) tuna, I forgot what it tasted like but I enjoyed it more than the kingfish 3)shrimps delicious 4) bugs, crumb wasn't good enough, a bit thick 5) tooth fish, very oily with strong sauce, I don't really like it personally 6) lamp cutlet very tasty 7) waygu very nice but it was a little lacking in seasoning so I dip in soy sauce 8) sushi plate all yummy apart from the California roll, I love the one with truffle in it :) 9) dessert - good

We have been to Kiyomi a number of times now, and every singe time the food and the service has been amazing. The wait staff are attentive and friendly, and the taste and quality of the food is second to none. We have paid more at other restaurants offering a similar menu, only to leave disappointed. A personal favourite of ours is the spicy tuna crispy rice dish. The cocktails are also great!

We celebrated our daughter 21st birthday dinner here and the restaurant decor is fancy, food is delicious, customer service is excellent (manager and staff) and the price is affordable for fine dinning. The set menu (to share) and cost $165pp is a must try as we ended up full and satisfied for the evening. Thank you for the wonderful bday service and our family will be definitely coming back. Vibe was perfect, staff were absolutely amazing, polite and friendly. We sat at the sushi bar in front of chefs. They were professional and efficient. We had set menu 1 and it was amazing. Everything was fresh, all sauces were going well with sushi and beef. I wish the portion was bit larger though.

Wow. If you love seafood, please stop by Kiyomi! We had an amazing dinner here and the highlight was the seared scampi with foie gras. Oysters with the yuzu granita is a must! The service was incredible and the cocktails were delicious. Highly recommended! 😊

Excellent customer service! We were served by Daniel and he helped us taste different Sake until he found the perfect one for us. Couldn't recommend him more. We ordered the set menu which the food tasted well for its price. I'd recommend to at least try the set menu once honestly if you were to visit this Kiyomi. But well done to Daniel, even bent down to speak to us to make sure we can hear him better, it's the little things that make the experience a lot better. Thanks!
