A must try when coming to the Gold Coast, always full tables. The service is nice and quick. I love the ham cheese croissant here. Great vibes and nice decoration as well. The only thing is limited car parking slots.

Belated review of Bam Bam Bakehouse- however quite enjoyed our time here a few weeks ago. Plenty of seating available, and equally as many baked goods! The staff were pleasant and efficient in seating and bringing out our food/coffees. Parking however is a little bit tricky, due to the popularity of the cafe and limited parks directly outside. There is however free street parking a block away. We ordered the avocado on toast, Nutella choux bomb and two iced lattes. The prices were high, especially for the size of the meals. For instance, the avocado on toast was $18.9 and only came with one slice of sourdough and a huge serving of avocado and green sprouts. We would have much preferred two slices even if it meant less avo and greens. Regardless it was really tasty. The Pastry was also enjoyable, as it was clearly fresh, however once again pretty pricey for the size. The coffees were great, and a generous size, we would definitely recommend to others. Overall, I’d recommend this cafe/bakery to others, and would love to come back and try out some more of their pastries and baked goods. They have a large menu, so there is guaranteed something for everyone. ⭐️

The food was decent and we enjoy its. But the customer service was a great let down. The server looks like she does not want to be there. I understand that the place is busy and she may not be paid enough, but some life and a smile does not hurt. There are way better places with better service on the Gold coast.

What a great place!! I had Eggs Benny, my husband had bacon and egg, really delicious, good portion, I had a hash brown on the side and it was so crunchy and delicious!! We also got a few take away pastries, can’t wait to demolish those. Highly recommend stopping by! Plenty of seating, we were there at 9am Saturday and got a table immediately. Looking forward ti bringing friends back here! Oh side note - dog friendly too!!

A really nice place to quench your sweet cravings. The almond croissants are to die for, the coffee was great too, but it was cold. The fries were soggy and tasted like the they were kept for a while. The Karaage Chicken Burger was nice and crunchy and the hash brown too. Nice music and ambiance, but the staff was a little rude. Almond Croissants are love.

wow!! this was a very eye pleasing breakfast, plus the taste didn’t disappoint at all! definitely try the croissant if you’re visiting🥐🥐 The barbie hot chocolate did not meet my expectation as i could not taste the chocolate much, but other than that this could count as one of the best breakfast in Gold Coast

This place always seems to be super busy and now we know why - there's a whole lot of delicious. Friends recommended we try Bam Bam when we visited the Gold Coast and it did not disappoint. The Bam Bam Avo and the Bacon and Egg Croissant were both fabulous and the coffee was good too. We got some pastries to take away and they were amazing too. Also plenty of dog friendly seating too - still dreaming of those almond croissants!

Definitely the crowning jewel for the Gold Coast. What a find!!! Stopped here for a birthday treat while on holidays and didn't disappoint at all. Even the coffee tasted great. Was great to see full cabinets at 11am on a Saturday. We will be back for breakfast.

Amazing food! Loved everything we ordered. Croissants were crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. We also enjoyed the Bam Bam Benny! French toast croissant was just nice not too sweet.

Wow!!! What do you say, I saw this place had a huge rating with Loads of reviews. I checked the socials out and saw some amazingly talented staff who create and artistically sculpt flawless baked goods. It does not stop at the delectable food but also the coffee is exquisite. The profile of the beans are excellent, I would love something like this back in Melbourne. But we can't be too greedy down south hey.... Come out a spoil someone you love with quality time food and atmosphere.

This bakery was impressive! We ordered an egg Benedict croissant and a refreshing Asian noodles salad with crispy skin tofu. The patisserie selection was delightful. A must-visit for delicious treats!

I’ve been to this place a while ago but I arrived too late to dine in. They are too popular there was already nothing to eat then. So was wanting to try here out for a while. We arrived here around 10 am this time and there was already a long queue. We had a seat 15 min after that. QR cord ordering is very easy and we can see the photos of food and pastries. Of course, you can also order pastries at the counter where is a showcase that croffuls and cakes, and it's faster to get. We ordered an apple crumble pie, French toast, and lattes. Although we got drinks soon, it took more than 30 min to get food and my friend ended up getting food when I almost finished. But it was very tasty and worth to wait! Good combination of crispy dough and Toffee sauce. We wanted to have more so we got some pastries for takeaway. (There were still some in the showcase around 12 pm.) Their sweets that are fun just looking at. I would like to come back soon.

Just next to a park you find this sweet spot. Lovely breakfast and brunch alternatives plus newly baked pastries. I had the avokado sandwich and it was absolutely lovely. As a starter we had two different pastries and they were super nice. Highly recommended place. Go here and treat yourself.

Wouldn’t reorder the karaage chicken croissant but the eggs Benedict one was good! Also I highly recommend the almond croissant here if you like a massive buttery one full of the almond croissant filling. It’s yummy. If you’re a croissant purist though, stick to the almond croissants from Christian Jacques.

We popped in here last weekend during our weekend beach walk. Both my partner and I really enjoyed our food! We had the ham and cheese croissant and the corn fritters and for a sweet treat we had a cinnamon Cruffin. Overall, the food was okay 10/10 and so so tasty, atmosphere was lovely too. The only thing I would say I could fault is our coffees took a little while to come out. We will most certainly be beach soon :)

Wonderful place to get breakfast. Got seated at a nice quiet table. Ordered by scanning the QR code on the table. The food/drinks came out quite quickly even though it was a busy Saturday morning. Looked exactly like the photos on the website. I ordered an eggs benny with a Nutella milkshake and my partner ordered a ham and cheese croissant. It was refreshing that they didn’t skimp on portion sizes, especially for the ham and cheese croissant which was packed with ham and gooey cheese. Croissants were buttery and flaky soft. Absolutely amazing! Would definitely come here again and again

Super friendly staff, amazing dessert. Had a great brunch today. I reckon their croissants are nicer than Lune. (Ordered croissants takeaway so no picture)

This place can do no wrong. The decor is cool with indoor and outdoor seating, surrounded by plants. The food was delicious and a bit adventurous. I wish I lived closer, this place would definitely become a regular.

Interesting place, well situated, open, and transparent The service was top-notch from the front man, very friendly, and explained everything clearly, really welcoming. The service from the girls, not so much, a smile goes a long way, honestly. When we asked if we could get some water, the girls said we had to get it ourselves from the fridge, it would be nice if they would offer it, especially since 1 - 2 girls were just floating around 😂 My mocha had very little chocolate, felt more like a latte, I'm guessing the barista forgot to add chocolate within, it happens

This is an amazing brunch/coffee spot. The food and pastries are exquisite and the atmosphere is very open, bright and social with lots of seating. I tried the Nutella Cruffin and the eggs benedict with smoked salmon served in their house made croissant. Both were incredible - the benedict especially. It was very nicely balanced in flavour and texture between croissant and the perfectly poached eggs, and the salmon and hollandaise sauce weren't too little nor excessive. I'd order it again without a second thought. Edit : I came back a third time on a Saturday and the vibes were great. Good music, great service. I came in at around 12 and didn't have a problem getting a seat albeit it being nearly a full house. One of the employees (Manager?) Chris made my visit exceptionally memorable with his thoughtfulness and kindly chat and humour. Good vibes all around. I'd ordered the acai bowl and it was so fresh and, again, balanced (a nice trend in my experiences here). I'd order that again without hesitation. I also tried the carrot cake slice and it was so moist, loaded with walnuts and topped generously with a perfect cream cheese frosting. This bakery/brunch spot is the real deal and I'll be missing it when I leave the Gold Coast 🙂💕

This bakery on the Gold Coast was truly a gem. During my holiday, I treated myself to a delightful experience here, and it exceeded my expectations. Even the coffee was fantastic. I was pleasantly surprised to find the cabinets fully stocked at 9 am on a Sunday. Although I had plans to visit two other bakeries that day, I restrained myself and only indulged in one pastry from here. I had my eye on trying everything, but I settled for the snickers croissant, which, while not as crispy as I’m accustomed to, was incredibly tasty. It was generously filled with cream but a bit on the heavy side; I could only manage to eat half of it. We also ordered eggs on toast, which I didn’t capture in a photo, but they were quite good. Additionally, they had a wide selection of patisserie cakes, pastries, and other sweets, making it a definite must-try spot. Coffee is also great smooth and nutty flavour.

Indoor and outdoor tables. Food and coffee are tasty! Not hard to find parking space on weekdays. There is a playgroud near the place. Very kids friendly.

Apparently this bakery is very famous on the Gold Coast and I decided to give it a try. It is very difficult to get the parking but if you don't mind walking a bit you can park a few streets across and walk there. When I saw the menu the egg nasi caught my attention as it is the name of the food from my home country so I decided to give it a try. Apparently it wasn't so bad at all. The environment is good. Friendly staff. Their croissant is freshly made everyday and it is good too. Overall a good place to check out if you are in gold coast

Sourdough eggs Benny is good. Great sourdough, paired with the savoury ham and smooth creamy poached eggs. Delicious!

Good breakfast joint with a nice cafe setting. Lots of variety of food and beverages. The shrooms are highly recommended. The egg nasi was tasty, and the chicken skewers were a generous portion add on. The egg of choice with bread was a tad disappointing. Overall a great place to start the day.

Sunday Brunch done right. Here's a spot for those who love their pastries. This buzzing cafe located on the Gold Coast Highway in Mermaid Beach is a "Must Do" for those who love a good hearty brunch. Their Eggs Benny will not disappoint. Oozing with flavour on a crunchy baked croissant makes this one of our top places to go on the Goldcoast. If you want to try something different, their Pulled Lamb Cretzel is a great dish to order for Brunch. Juicy slow-roast lamb shoulder mixed with cherry tomatoes, pumkin, seeds and beets was beautifully served with mint yoghurt in a crispy pastry bowl. Thank you to all the wonderful staff working. It was pleasure dining here this morning and we will be returning again soon. Tips & Notes: - Pre book or arrive at least 15/20 minutes earlier to find parking. The Street and parking lot were full so we needed to do a couple of laps around the side streets - Dog Friendly. Multiple seats outside to sit with your fur babies - Expect to wait as the line up was roughly around 15 minutes for us. - Located right next to a Mermaid Park, this is perfect spot for those dining with family

Very legit brunch place with good Malaysian fried rice. Although overtime it has decreased a little but can still taste the Wok-hei (uncle Roger will semi-approve) Their other breakfast also looks and taste very legit with good portion size. The lemon tart and coconut lemon tart is to die for.

Nice coffee even I ordered decaf. Tea was fine but they can offer refill for free. The egg and bacon croissant looks pretty and it tasted fine. But with the savoury fillings, it was a bit hard to try the taste of the croissant. The twice baked snickers croissant was not too sweet but I hope the croissant can be more crispy in the outside.

We had a little pit stop at the Bam Bam Bakehouse for coffee and their famous pastries. The twice baked almond croissant was nice but way more than what you pay for in Sydney. The place was spacious and seated a lot of diners but service was extremely slow. They looked very short staffed. We finished our coffees and waited quite a long time until our pastries came out. Next time, we’ll know to just takeaway instead of dine in.

  • 4/5 Ken T. 2 years ago on Google
Highly recommend the bacon & egg and almond croissants. Coffee was actually not too bad. Gets busy from 8am on the weekends. I didn't like the hazelnut caramel tart much though.

  • 4/5 Annie L. 2 years ago on Google
The almond croissant was full of the right balance of textures and not too sweet. I usually feel a bit gross after eating a croissant but this one was not as greasy which was a plus. Coffee was good too however it was a long wait. The queues to get a seat in this venue was longer but it’s a sweet short distance to mermaid beach so if the weathers good get a take away and enjoy this pastry goodness by the sea.
