Worst Indian restaurant ever! Spent $150 and received stale tandoori naans and dals. Curries seemed as old as 5 days. Chickens smelled atrocious. I fail to understand why do owners sell such bad quality food who themselves won’t eat if the same was provided. Had to throw all my food and was really disappointed for going to sleep empty stomach. Please understand the value of our money and the trust we pay you. Hope you improve.

One of the best customer service we ever had and lovely ambience Roti and all breads are the best rated Best food and customized as requested Papadam & chutney was good too Price is at par with other restaurants so not expensive or cheaper. Food came within 15 minutes so not any wait. Convenient location. Best masala tea Deserve a visit if you are in / around Gold Coast

They serve very high standard Indian food in town. The taste is traditional and not too spicy, various dishes also suitable for kids. Mango Nasii drink is delicious, thumb up

Long time reader, first time reviewer. I just had to leave one here. My partner and I had dinner here tonight and we have never been so satisfied in our lives. Coming from Melbourne in an area dominated by Indian restaurants I can say that the food from this restaurant beats them all comfortably. I wish this place was in Melbourne! The value for money was also fantastic in comparison to the going rate in Broadbeach. The waiter that served us was kind, generous and almost too patient! What a gentleman! Thank you kindly. We look forward to returning on our next holiday! 10 out of 5 stars!

We ordered last night with my partner 2 lamb kormas, the most expensive ever coconut rices (x2) and naan. To begin with the kormas didn’t have any taste at all… Very dry and rice was not even coconut. Looked like regular rice with maybe a teaspoon of coconut… Naan was very nice I would definitely recommend it (cheese and spinach + garlic). We might have ordered the wrong option but we’ve tried almost every Indian in the GC and we won’t order from here anymore. Spent almost $100 in total and it was not worth it! We were reading comments on here before ordering and we couldn’t believe the negative ones… We decided to give it a try anyway… Just too expensive for nothing. Hope this only helps to the restaurant making the best food they can prepare.

It's a pretty nice place, well maintained and clean. The food was really good, full of flavours like typical North Indian (Punjabi) food.

This is the perfect place for a winter warmer… good authentic Indian cuisine that will warm your belly. The beef vindaloo was one of the best I’ve had and the kids loved the chicken tikka. Something for everyone and very friendly service. And it doesn’t break the budget which is a bonus.

I don’t think I’ve had a more kind, loving and welcoming dining experience. A beautiful family owned business - there’s NOTHING BETTER than dining in or taking away their garlic peneer and mango lassi before or after a walk on the beach right by it, or after a long day. Genuinely one of the most lovely places I’ve been, and will be coming back to try more of their authentic Indian cuisine. I’m obsessed. X

Amazing food, we’re Indian and can definitely say it’s the most authentic food. We’re from Sydney and made a point to stop over. Such a cosy place. Family run business who are all so lovely and accommodating

I dined at this restaurant last night with family and I must say, the food was satisfactory. It was the exemplary conduct of the staff that truly stood out to me. Good service that prompts me to write a positive review. The restaurant's close proximity to the Gold Coast is definitely a plus. However, my companions and I did encounter some difficulty with parking. Tram provides an excellent alternative mode of transportation for those visiting this place.

(Edit: Went back the following day and ordered the same, it was that good - lol). Dropped in (off season) grabbed takeaway for dinner, safron rice, a hot lamb Vindaloo, a garlic naan, and a cheese and garlic naan. The owner threw in four free papadums. The food was awesome (everything) the Vindaloo OMG (which they normally have as a medium heat) was hot aa ordered, it left a slight burn, just right, but not crazy hot. The lamb was melt in the mouth, no gristle or chunks of fat. Kudos to the owner/chef. Well done, sadly I'm from Newcastle and don't get to Broadbeach QLD much, last time 25 plus years ago, if I get back on the Coast, will def be back for a feed.

Brilliant. Agree with other reviews. Quality food, excellent taste, generous protein (meat) portions. Like other Italian take away reviews we leave, we would still prefer complimentary saffron rice at todays prices, please. ( chicken korma, lamb saagwala & chicken tikka)

Ideally i wouldn't have given such harsh reviews but this was by far the worst experience we've had with a restaurant. So in the middle of our holiday we thought we'll give ourselves a break from the usual food and have some Indian food. We ordered Spinach dal, rice, naan, butter chicken and chicken rogan josh. My husband went and picked up the food. While the food tasted good their butter chicken which only my husband and my son had ended up giving them food poisoning. Husband recovered after a day or so but my son who's 9 years old, had severe diarrhea, vomiting and fever. This ended up sabotaging our plans for the next few days- Sea World, brisbane etc. Need I say running to pharmacies and doctor's visit. While this can happen I feel that the restaurant should take care of its hygiene. If we had the bandwidth or known what to do we would have surely taken the food sample to the authorities.

The food here was genuinely amazing, we had papadams, samosas, butter chicken (so good!), lamb vindaloo, garlic naan and rice. Loved everything and will definitely be back.

Ordered delivery, never turned up, even after countless calls to the restraurant. Response was it was on its way. After an hour of trying, response was well take up with the driver/food app. Didn't offer to make it again, even after saying we would pick it up. Terrible experience.

This place was my last dinner at the Gold Coast, and it was such a cute cozy restaurant with delicious Indian food. The interior design is so colourful with posters all over the walls and I felt like I was transported outside of Australia. The naan bread was freshly cooked and warm and the curry dishes were rich in flavour. Came early dinner and had such a intimate dining experience with my partner.

This was by far the best Indian we’ve had in a long time. The reviews are correct.this place is definitely worth checking out if you love a good Indian. We had the chicken tikka, cheese nan, cheese and garlic nan, butter chicken & chicken vindaloo. Everything was fantastic but the vindaloo was a stand out for me, I would say probably the best I’ve had. Fantastic job guys and we can’t wait to try some different dishes

Words cant describe how amazing this restaurant is. The food is beautiful. I ordered the paneer makhani, coconut rice and keema cheese naan and it melted in my mouth. Not only is the food is fantastic but the staff is as well. The service is perfect, when i wanted to add more food to my order they came so fast to attend my needs. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Delicious food and great service. We ordered the Lamba Tawa Masala and sizzling plate with some garlic and plain naan. The flavours from the lamb was brilliant and the naans fresh and fluffy. The grilled meats in the sizzling plates were delicious (seekh kebab, lamb cutlets, chicken tikka). Will definitely be back when we visit Gold Coast.

I recently dined at an Manihani restaurant and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with cozy lighting and tasteful decor that transported me to the vibrant streets of India. The menu was extensive, offering a wide range of authentic Indian dishes that catered to all dietary preferences. I started with the samosas, which were crispy and filled with a delicious potato and pea mixture. For my main course, I opted for the chicken tikka masala, which was rich and flavorful with just the right amount of spice. What stood out to me the most was the exceptional service provided by the staff. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and happy to make recommendations based on my preferences. The food arrived promptly and was beautifully presented, with generous portions that left me feeling satisfied but not overly full. Overall, I highly recommend this Indian restaurant for anyone looking for an authentic and memorable dining experience. The food is delicious, the service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is perfect for a night out with friends or a romantic dinner for two. I can't wait to return and try more dishes from their menu.

Outstanding. Dined in tonight for the first time! Naan was proper, salad was perfect and the curries were authentic and delicious (yes, they make their own paneer!!!)! We just wanted to say thank you so much. Service was great, lovely ambience in the restaurant with tv playing old Bollywood clips, cosy, clean and comfortable! Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone wanting great Indian food and a great experience.

Amaazing and tasty Indian Punjabi cuisine! The whole experience from start to finish is great......the staff is so friendly and kind. The food can’t get more better. Always a great spot to get great food. I would recommend the place if you wanna enjoy the north Indian cuisine for sure.!

Excellent food. The chef and staffs are very cooperative. Being a pure vegetarian, they made sure everything is cooked separately. Definitely recommended.

We have tried a few Indian restaurants on the coast and so glad we found Manihani. Hands down the best. The paneer curries are authentic, taste amazing and there’s never a huge wait time. We order takeaway and are never disappointed.

Best curry I’ve ever had. Chicken super juicy, tikka just beautifully hot without over powering the flavours. I’ll definitely be back to sample more of the dishes.

I went to manihani a couple of weeks ago. The food was amazingly delicious!! Cannot think of appropriate enough words to describe the brilliance of the food and the service. It is a nice and warm family based business. Excellent and genuine hosts. Food is beyond excellence....!!

Called to order, very pleasant man despite phones ringing in the background was very patient with me, trying to work out what was house made vs just bought in. Which turns out they make everything from scratch. The food was ready very quickly 20 mins and amazingly beautiful. I cook a lot of authentic Indian and am extremely fussy, I would highly recommend this place for taste, and portion size was large.

Delicious authentic food - we are travelling and got takeaway 3x out of our 4 night stay. Staff is very professional and friendly. The only thing I can critic is the vegetable madras can have a few more vegetables in it. Otherwise, everything else was perfect. We will definitely be back when we next visit!

From Sydney and recently been to this place, food was amazingly delicious. We ordered veg dishes from Chef’s special (paneer dish, palak mushroom, palak kofta) and all of them were very nice. Would have been nicer if they could customised the vegetarian naan as per our kids’s choice or had Indian paneer naan/parantha in their menu. Were refused on any amendments. Apart from this, food was very nice. Did not try any non veg curries. Picked up a couple of free organic lemons from the reception counter offered by restaurant owner..!!

Excellent and tasty food served with great customer service, four families ordered food from the menu at the last minute at the bussiest time of the evening and not a single time we were told that it's not available or cannot be served. Food served hot and was fresh and tasty, even kids had a great time, recommend it highly, to sum it up its a quiet team which always over achieves.

Ordered takeaway tonight for my family while on holidays. We eat a lot of Indian and the whole family LOVED dinner. Really impressed with the food and friendly staff. Wish we had time to eat from here again this trip. SO good!!!

My new favourite Indian Restaurant on the Gold Coast. Amazing food, prepared and served by beautiful people. I ate their 3 time over 2 weeks. The food is delicious and fresh. Nearly everything on the menu is gluten free, so fresh, so tasty. They leave the windows open, there is a great breeze flowing through. Not a lot of parking, but worth a short stroll if required. You will not regret visiting this little gem.
