I am actually a regular customer of Tian Ran, it was the first time I sat inside the restaurant though (usually get my order via Uber Eats). This dish, Braised Tofu and Shiitake Mushrooms, is my favourite! It's so flavoursome! The vegan chicken drumsticks are really good too, it was my first time trying them. Staff were really lovely too. Reasonably priced. Highly recommend 🤗😊

I have a low opinion of vegan places so my expectations were very low and this was worse than I thought was possible. After a 20min wait for the order a hotdog with the consistency of an old sponge and the flavour of a rotten cob if corn wrapped in a diaper was not what I expected. The fries on the side were some of worst I've experienced. I would rather eat at Lord of the flies.

Large selection of Asian vegan food. Lots of faux meat but also plenty of other options. Delicious

Absolutely delicious food and excellent service. It was so hard to choose (so we ordered plenty!), and every dish was heavenly. Went with a few of the recommendations and they did not disappoint. We will definitely be back whenever we're on the coast to make our way through the menu. Feels great to know that whatever we choose is vegan too, and there's no risk of cross contamination. Lovely restaurant with a family atmosphere. Lemon chicken used to be my jam before going plant-based. Their version was delightful and brought back many fond childhood memories. Food is simple but well done and very reasonably priced. Service was wonderful. Very much recommend.

A large variety menu from entrees to desserts. Great quality, great prices and fast friendly service. Many gluten free options. I particularly enjoyed the special brown rice to mix with my other meals. Our first visit today and we look forward to returning.

I come here regularly. The food and staff are awesome, however they only ever have 1 person working which means you're waiting for 30 minutes for something that should take no more than 10. The manager needs to not cut corners and have at least 2 people working at any given time. It's not only a time thing, it's a safety thing

Horrible service. Took 20 mins to get nuggets and fries snack pack. We were the only ones waiting. The lady at the counter was surprisingly rude. The food was among the worst fast food places I have ever had - the fries were inedible. Disappointing considering hearing good things before coming.

After 25 minutes of careful consideration, my small fries emerged from their oily abyss. A touch of salt and some sauce and there you have it, as quick as if watching a whole episode of the Simpsons.

I had been wanting to try lord of the fries for so long $60.00 for 2 burgers 2 chips 2 drinks,, I do not mind paying for quality but the the food was so bad threw half of it in the bin! Where do I start the burgers were just gross mess not put together proper the tiny bit of lettuce was so gross limp and old, chips were gross drown in gravy when I asked for a little bit, the other chips I asked and paid for a tomato sauce on the side which I never received ( got take away so didn't realise till I left) 2 milkshakes were warm! NOT ONE THING I ORDERED WAS NICE OR QUALITY FOOD! This place gives vegan food a bad name!

Worst Chick'n meal ever. Didn't look anything like the pictures. Soggy, way too much sauce, must have emptied the bottle. What's with the thin patty. Wasted $40 for 2 people. Poor meal, good service.

$15 for a large HSP and it’s not even full.. also soggy like it wasn’t cooked to order.

Came here from Brisbane to try it as I am a vegetarian, and was completely worth it. Tried about 5 different things and each one of them was better than the other. Also one of the kindest staff ever met. Definitely must try.

Just been for our first visit here and it was amazing! Ive been veggie for many years now and eating out can be boring with limited choice. This food was delicious and so much to choose from. Can’t wait to go back already 😋

1 of the best vegetarian/vegan restaurants on the Gold Coast. The food & service is amazing,worth the price although it isn't very expensive. It is also located near public transport & not far from many hotels for holiday makers & locals alike. Highly recommend it!! For lunch &/or dinner as their trading hours are flexible & good too.

All began Taiwanese restaurant. Fantastic sauces and flavour. Vtry the vegan calamari and sweet n sour vegan fish.

Been twice in a week! Highly recommend the laksa and tom yum noodle soup. Absolutely delicious and the best laksa I’ve had for sure. Prices are so good and the staff are lovely ❤️ see you again soon

Traditional tasting large meals. We had so much left over! The staff are friendly and there's plenty of seating indoors. We ordered Mixed Entree, Honey Chicken, Combination Fried Rice, Plain Rice, Thai Style Green Chicken Curry. The curry lacked spice, so added chill would've been good. The Fried Rice was a winner. The other dishes were too deep fried for my liking, but tasted amazing. Not alot of parking nearby and the parking on the front road is 1 hour only.

Good place for vegan food. Noodles, dumplings and honey chicken were really good. Desserts were not very impressive though.

Really good experience. Came at 2pm on a Saturday and food was out super quickly. Staff gave us one wrong item but were so helpful and nice and fixed the mistake straight away. Front lady was nice. Vegan HSP was unreal, have never seen it before.

Ok, well the seats were somewhat comfortable, the prices were too high for the size of the meal and the quality was poor to say the least. Everything tasted like it was out of a discount value bin and every single table was wobbly. Only gave 2 stars because the softdrink was cold and they got the order correct.

I have come here a few times and always been great service and food. Today was not so good, our food got put on the wrong table and it didn't only happen to us. The server put our chips on someone else's Table and then realized after that those were not their chips. After they were eating them he then took the chips off the table and put it on ours not replacing the chips. Also wearing gloves, touching everything, including money then when bring our food out he would be touching our burger. Much worse situation because of Covid-19. Hopefully our next trip up will be better.

Been on the goldy for 3 days and eaten at lotf 3 times! Food is so amazing!! Love how they mix it up with having different limited time only foods! Staff were super friendly, especially Bunny, who served us the last 2 days :) As for the people who say the food is trying to trick you because it’s not labeled as vegan, you should hand in your licence and get someone to drive you to your nearest optometrist.

I just had my first ever lord of the fries experience. Not sure if it's due to timing or not but there was very few people working. The person at the front didn't really seem to care about serving customers while I saw two people at the back trying to cook orders. I ordered a chick'n burger and regular chips. As a vegan,I miss chicken burgers (newly vegan) sadly this didn't hit the spot. The vegan chicken patty tasted a but odd,it may be because I'm not a fan of faux chicken or maybe it's how it's cooked? But the sauces on the burger did attempt to disguise the taste of the patty. The regular chips were fine. Because I waited 30+ mins for my order and didn't kick up a fuss like other customers,I was offered a complimentary drink. I work in customer service,so I understand the delay in service. I'll give Lord of the Fries another go at another time,hopefully a less busy time. But I do suggest that making your register staff at least attempt to care about the service to customers would be nice. Especially when I heard a customer ask for a manager and the register staff member pointed to the people cooking the food and walked away.

Travelled there previously and managed to get a taste of the fries here. The portions were rather reasonable and no doubt the fries was flavourful!

I love how they served my hotdog before my fries otherwise I would have been so full! It was so tasty and in such a convenient spot. I ordered the Chicago dog :) I was surprised it was vegan! The staff were really lovely and helpful. I also love how I had explosive diarrhoea precisely one hour later xx

OMG the Vegan Halal HSP Chunky Fries is THE BEST!! Great with their sour cream and gravy, and very filling. 100% recommend these guys at Surfer's Paradise, super friendly also with a hand-written note on my delivery! Bless!

I’m not even vegetarian (sorry) but enjoy eating delicious and interesting food. I had the eggplant basil and ‘seafood’ dish, and it was sooo super yummy. The meat substitute was made from yam !!!! It was a very good texture, tasted quite seafood like, and the sauce was superb. I grew up in a Chinese Restaurant so I’m fussy about my Chinese food, even how well white rice is cooked, and I rate this place excellent. I was looking today to see if they were open, cuz I’ve wanted to go back since my first time 2 weeks ago, and I decided to leave this review. The owner was really nice and helped me navigate the menu. Give them a try.

Yummy all vegetarian & vegan Asian food. The salt and pepper combination "seafood" is delicious. Would love to see more drinks options though, and FYI they charge an extra 15% on public holidays. But otherwise really good experience :)

The staff were friendly and the service was very quick. The food was delish and so many options! The water jugs were nice to pour out of without making a mess and the water was nice. The restaurant is small and nothing too fancy, but don't let that sway your decision to try it! The prices are good too :)

I have been eating here for the past 20 years. Tian Ran is one of the original and best vegetarian restaurants on the Gold Coast. The food is quality with a large selection on the menu and come in a generous serve size. The staff are friendly, courteous, kind and all-round lovely. Highly recommended.

Please don't change anything ,this is just the best vegan Chinese 😍 Lemon chicken was delicious, not too sweet,just a touch of sour, combination fried rice with mock meat was amazing and the satay sticks and fried wontons simply delicious. Don't think you can go wrong with whatever you order.

Calling all Vegos! You need to try this takeaway! First time here, but not my last. Really, really good flavours and friendly service. We had mapo tofu, s&p tofu, Szechuan eggplant and pan fried dumplings. Awesome! Let’s support this local business, everyone. Loved this little find on the gold Coast. This is definitely one of the healthiest places to eat on the coast. Good, inexpensive Chinese vegetarian food cooked in an authentic way as you would get in Taiwan or Singapore. Handmade, in-house dumplings (not from a frozen pack!!), kids menu, plain, nourishing dishes such as wonton noodle soup or spicy laksa, all the traditional Chinese items appear on this menu as well as modern twists on a few traditional dishes. Lovely Ruth at Tian Ran knows how to cook them all and trains her staff to cook in her manner. What's more, Ruth and her staff are always smiling, always attentive and make each visit a pleasure. Your non-veg friends will also love to eat here and not even notice that there's no meat! Finish off with the traditional coconut-milk sago with palm sugar or apple-pie and vegan ice-cream! Something for everyone.

Not a vegan. Review is based on a meat lover. I wanted to try the vegan food. I order coconut rice and found it too sweet. This is likely to effect my judgement. Their fried chicken drumsticks was great. There crispy beef and vegetable was good. The rest were okay.

Absolutely flawless experience eating in at this restaurant! We ordered a few entrees and mains and enjoyed them so much we even treated ourselves to desserts! We enjoyed our experience here so much that we even ordered takeaway to eat at the hotel the night after. It was my first time here after a friend's recommendation. I tried fried beancurd skin, sweet and sour pork, sweet and sour chicken, and Thai style curry chicken, and all taste good and priced reasonably! I will be back. We also received a pleasant service, thank you! I hope your business grow and have many branches so I can access your food more often.

Delicious and super friendly vegan Hong Kong style restaurant with all day yum cha (ask for the yum cha menu if it is dinner time. Loved the XO noodle, crispy chicken, chicken and corn soup plus dumplings. Brought back happy memories of favourite meals back when I ate meat. The owners are lovely and the place is a delight.

Wowza bao boza I will be planning my next holiday specifically around eating my way through the huge vegan menu here! Lemon chicken was such a nostalgic treat that I haven’t found a good version of for a while. Laksa soup.. My go to, my specialty and it was amaze balls Wonton soup- salty subtle broth that will breath some life into you on a cloudy cold day I’ll be back and you better prepare your chef for the amount of food I’ll be ordering

The staff are amazing. They care a lot about customer satisfaction and not about money. There was a mix-up with my order-the owner arranged free delivery of freshly prepared food to our place which is 20km from their restaurant. Amazing! Thank you Tian Ran for actually caring about us.
