A very good customer service and delicious food. Well cooked but tender Goat Curry and delicious dal makhani. Would love to come back whenever come to Gold Coast again.

Enjoyed a lovely dinner with my boyfriend tonight and we absolutely loved every moment. The food was incredible (with a heap of leftovers to take home, yum!). The service was amazing, shout-out to the kind waitress - Mable, for making our first experience at Indian Empire fantastic. Will definitely be back :)

Best indian food on the Gold Coast so far. We have had takeaway from the Indian Empire several times. Great taste and quality. Highly recommend. 1st time dining in this evening. The owner was very helpful guiding us through dishes without onion. Butter chicken was smokey and delicious. The lamb korma taste was great, but a little grissly meat. The bread basket was huge and very tasty. So many dishes I would recommend. Combination vege and meat entrees were great. Will be back for sure. Thank you for your excellent service.

I was craving for some chaat, and luckily this place was open on a Tuesday.. All I can say is that I came out happy after eating that Aloo Tikki 😊, and will go back another time to try some other dishes..

It was the first time we'd been to this restaurant and it didn't disappoint. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly. Great Butter Chicken and the Peshwari Naan was the best I've had in years. The service was a bit erratic but it was a busy Saturday night. We will definitely be back.

First time trying Indian empire. Not being too experienced with Indian food, the staff were very knowledgeable and had helped recommend choices to suit our preferences. The food came out in a timely manner. The food itself was very flavourful and tender. Come here and dine here especially if you would like a 5 star experience in the suburbs.

Food and service were wonderful! We asked for recommendations and got very detailed suggestions which were extremely helpful. Servers were all very attentive and friendly and made sure we had a good time. Food also came out very promptly and was fresh and hot. Could not have asked for more, would highly recommend.

We are From Brisbane city and decided to go for a cruise around the Gold Coast. At 8.00pm we know everything is almost closed so we jump on Google and found this indian gem still open til 9.30pm. Got there and was greeted by 2 lovely young male who got us seated nicely and gave us some recommendation. (Wr were the last customers for the sunday night) We ordered butter chicken, tandoori chicken, malai kofta , garlic naan and coconut rice. The curry was rich full of flavours and aroma, it is amazing and cooked with love. The presentation and atmosphere is relaxing and clean. The review is well deserved for this local business and we will be back in a few weeks for our holidays up this way.

Absolutely worst Indian I’ve ever had except for the naan Watery Rice was soggy not fluffy and just over cooked with to much water in it, if you can’t cook rice properly than God help the rest of the cuisine Butter chicken was runny purée lacking texture and oil was splitting from sauce resulting in a bed of oil on top Pallak paneer was dam right vomit material 🤮 no seasoning, texture or flavor it was literally like puréed frozen spinich leaves with water Will not ever be going near this place and struggling to find any good Indian around coombabah area

The food here is amazing. My partner and I drive 30 mins each way from home to eat here, it is the only Indian we crave and buy. Keep doing what you are doing cause it is delicious and we would travel 1hr+ if we had to!

I find *Atmosphere* varies, but never less than 4 stars. Indian Empire enjoys a rare and wonderful distinction of being truly Indian cuisine . Tonight my wife had a beef Vindaloo (Mild) which She raved about all the way home. I like Lamb when eating out, tonight I had Lamb Saagwala, the pureed spinach only lightly spiced allowing the flavour of spinach to drift through and not be overcome. The staff are friendly and courteous . Highly recommended. PS. the Naan bread is to die for :)

We ordered takeaway last night and once again the Saag Paneer was absolutely outstanding. The goat curry and prawn Marsala were delicious as were the nann breads and Garlic rice. We definitely recommend dine in or takeaway. Cheers Sean

This is a must! Best Indian food I have had. Staff were very attentive. Prices are $30-$40 and sizes are great. Has a great kids menu I.e. nuggets and chips too for this fussy eaters. Comes out fast and hot!

Nice little restaurant where food vs service applies. We were super excited to try this restaurant as it was highly recommended by a work colleague and also knowing that it had good online reviews. unfortunately the good food wasn't enough to save our experience, the service really was very poor. We ordered wine by the glass, which were kept behind the bar whilst we sat with empty glasses for large portions of the evening. Secondly the food we ate was delicious. After we had our starters, it felt like we were waiting for a Jetstar flight as we sat over our empty first course plates waiting for them to be cleared. And money certainly isn't going to be made from drinks, my water was topped up about 5 times but no one noticed I was sitting in front of an empty wine glass for most of the evening. Sadly we did not ask for repeats as it probably would not have made it to the table. I understand there are staff shortages at the minute but the restaurant was not super busy for basic service. They seemed more focused on takeouts most of the night. I have reviewed my honest thoughts as I work in the same industry. I really wanted to give 5 stars, but just couldn't quite get there, (Hopefully next time). Would i return? Yes (just for the food), but wouldn't rush back.

Friendly staff, delicious food and obliging chef. Traveling on my own I wanted a good Indian dinner. I asked the waiter if it was possible to have 2 or 3 small serves of different curries, like a Tali. The waiter asked the chef who said Yes. They served me a delicious selection of lamb, vegetable and dahl curries with chapatis, nan and rice with condiments for a very reasonable price. That is extremely good service and I highly recommend you travel far to enjoy it.

1st time to visit this absolute gem of a restaurant. My wife and I will definitely be visiting again. The service from the moment we walked in to when we left was absolutely 1st class. As for the food, absolutely superb! Fresh and flavoursome. An overall wonderful experience and I can highly recommend this restaurant.

Haven’t been for years and the food is still amazing. All the staff are as good as the food. Very attentive and friendly. They represent the true meaning of service. So many dishes to choose from and the presentation is fantastic. Will be back for sure.

Just home from a Gold Coast holiday. A highlight was dinner last night with 5 friends at Indian Empire Runaway Bay. Terrific decor with cloth serviettes were a good indicator when we arrived. Excellent friendly service was appreciated. Then the delicious curries with superb naan and I recommend the chutney to complement the superb flavours. 10/10 a real find. Looking forward to next time.

AMAZING!!! We were told about this place by our Uber driver……luckily! We love our Indian food, have it at least once a fortnight, so fair to say we know what is good……the food here was EXCEPTIONAL! I had the best tasting beef madras I have ever experienced, the meat was so tender it fell apart in your mouth and the flavour was insanely delicious! The service here was also not the normal standard of any other Indian restaurant we have been to, it was superior in every sense, in fact it put all others to shame. Our waitress and waiter were both brilliant. Next time we are in the area we will most certainly be back! Thank you! Naomi and Gavan

One of the best Indian food in Gold Coast. I am from Delhi and I didn’t like butter chicken anywhere in GC but they did great job in taste . I was impressed with the food quality and quantity as well. Must try. Staff is super friendly. Will visit them again.

We love it here! Living so close by we come often and use the take away very often! The smells come through our house nightly it’s amazing! The staff are so lovely and the restaurant itself is just so lovely to sit at :) Highly recommend

Being Vegetarian,we Found Chicken piece in Malai kofta. It’s shameful that they are using same pan and before making any curry they are not taking any precautions and taste is very bad and it’s totally terrible. This was the first and last time. Very bad experience.

Called at 4.30pm to ask if restaurant was taking orders now, man said yes, ordered 1 dish and a naan bread, they said will be ready to pick up in half a hour, arrived at 5pm walked in happily to pay which I did, said kitchen has just opened and order will be 25-30 minutes, I explained that wasn’t what I was told as I wouldn’t of left so early, dish didn’t come out until 5.30pm. Lovely young lady receptionist on the till, but young man explaining the extra wait time was dismissive, rude and not considerate at all. Disappointed with customer service!
