This was our 2nd visit & again it didn't disappoint. Very Busy night with restaurant full - Food & Service still Great .... reasonably quick too! Staff are always friendly & attentive. It's well worth our 30min drive. Our new favourite Indian restaurant.

Eat in again last night for about the 5th time. I think it is the best food from an Indian Restaurant that we have had. So lucky to have this local to where we live. Thanks Ginger. Keep up the good work.

Absolutely amazing and delicious food. Service is really great. We had the lamb madras and rogan Josh. Naan bread and sauces were also good.

Ordered for Murgh Habibi, Peas Pulao and Meen Moilee. Peas Pulao and Meen Moilee were excellent Murgh Habibi - Chicken wasn’t cooked The gentleman was extremely nice and offered us another serve, but we respectfully declined as we were full already. Service was excellent ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Price $$$ Ambience ⭐️⭐️

The food is okay but the price of it is disgusting. I got the butter chicken that was $20.00 dollars for dinner, only to get home and realize I have to cook rice aswell because they didnt even put rice in with the butter chicken, I'm sorry but does butter chicken come with rice or am I crazy, also I have a photo of the butter chicken from the front of the shop, having rice with it, so want my money back, not worth it if you go out for food then get home to cook more to make it a dinner. Seriously grow up! Fast food with home dinner, what a waste of time, Would have been easier just to cook at home.

This place is just the best Indian high end cuisine I have ever tasted. I have just had lunch again at this place, and I cannot stop coming here! The chefs are just top notch, and the taste and texture of the food is perfect. I have been to many Indian restaurants but never one as good as this. The owner is polite, friendly, and always willing to cook the food to your requirements. A true gentleman with manners and a big smile to greet you. You can’t go wrong if you come here and want to experience authentic Indian cuisine. 120 percent out of a 100!!!!

The briyani was good but that would suffice only 1 person felt the quantity was less. Had prawn gravy and it tasted so good. Paneer gravy, millet roti was good.

This was a pretty great restaurant. I really liked the atmosphere, and especially the music they had playing. The main issue I had was the poor organisation of their menu. You should keep in mind when ordering that their entrees section also contains quite a few main-meal-sized items, including a whole chicken tandoori, which would have been better off in a different section, as they definitely weren't the right size for an entree. When I visited, I ordered a lamb saagwala which was spectacular, with the perfect amount of spice. It's the green dish, and although it's not especially photogenic, it's definitely worth an order if you like having a bit of spice. However, I was told that the fish tikka which someone else ordered was quite bland, and needed more sauce to go with it, since the small bowl you can see in the photo was not sufficient. Another person ordered a Banarsi seek kebab which she enjoyed. We also really liked the naan bread which we shared.

Oh my goodness. What a beautiful experience. We thought to get takeaway for the evening but then changed our minds to dine in, and are so glad we did. There is a palpable warm, positive energy at this place, from the kind and attentive service delivered with gentle genuine smiles, to the happy sounds of family and friends truly enjoying their food. It's rare to have a dining experience that feels elevating, but that's exactly what this was. The chef's intentions are described on the website as producing alluring flavours and taking you on a sensory journey, and we agree. We have both left feeling so happy, it felt almost like a spiritual experience to taste such lovely subtle flavours, some of which were like a little joyful unexpected mystery (you must try the pistachio icecream!) and to feel truly nourished by the high quality produce and loving care put in by the chefs. The decor is beautiful and takes you away from the ordinary world. We highly recommend the barramundi tikka entree and the chicken tikka masala with the best hot buttery garlic naan ever. Our family is going through a lot right now, and our experience at Ginger tonight has brought happiness to our hearts and spirits, and reminded us of the true joy of food. Thank you and blessings to you all.

I ate takeaway last night & the food was way too salty & I don’t mind a bit of salt TBH. The spice was great, but the salt killed the dishes in my opinion, I’ve had better. They need to learn to balance the sweet with salt a bit more I feel.

The exceptional Indian cuisine experience was brought to my doorstep through their home delivery service. The flavors remained intact, and the prompt delivery showcased their commitment to customer satisfaction. A perfect option for those craving authentic Indian dishes in the comfort of their homes.

Visited this restaurant based on the reviews as I was looking for a nice date night restaurant and this was perfect! I love that it’s in the most unassuming spot (located amongst a shopping complex with Cole’s etc) and just on the corner with plenty of parking options - no fuss, so easy! They have a great online booking system and upon entering the place the ambience is warm and inviting. Dim lights, nice classy decor but also giving a casual feel. We ordered a few starters - the Samoas were honestly out of this world! Probably the best I’ve tasted in my opinion. We also ordered these spring roll looking things (soz forgot what it was called) as it was a chefs special starter and they were also delicious (we ordered it upon recommendation). For the mains we ordered the mango chicken (hot) the Goat curry (mild), coconut rice, a mix of garlic/garlic & cheese naan bread, some Poppadoms. My husband absolutely loved his mango chicken. He loves Indian cuisine more than me and was highly impressed. The Goat curry paired well with the coconut rice for me and I was happy to get a take home since we had some leftover. And while I did enjoy it at the restaurant, the next day it tasted even better 😆It went from an 7 to a 10 for me. The Poppadoms however were a bit too fancy for me though (I prefer the basic normal one - not fancy seeded ones) and they were not as crunchy as I prefer. But I did enjoy the naan bread 🤤I also tried the Lychee Martini cocktail and it was delish! I love that this is also family/child friendly and the service was excellent. It’s not cheap but I would definitely come back for another special occasion with my family. Great for date nights, groups of friends, families and special occasions that you want to keep semi casual!

I really do struggle with the negativity of some people on this forum posting poor reviews. I'm not sure what they are expecting or trying to achieve. This restaurant is authentic, the service has always been excellent, the staff friendly and the food is delicious. When they were at their former location off Maudlands Road, perhaps that restaurant had a better more cosy atmosphere but take nothing away from its current location - its always a pleasure to eat here. Good quality, authentic Indian cuisine.

What a treasure to find such a wonderful restaurant, the food, service, wine and a wonderful ambiance. The food was mouthwatering, the service was unbelievable, they couldn’t do enough for us. It was my brothers birthday lunch and as I mentioned that, they brought us complimentary papadoms and also a delicious desert. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough, we intend to revisit for sure.thank you we had a wonderful lunch

We came on a Saturday night as a large group and had an excellent experience. The team helped us choose a variety of dishes from the menu for everyone’s liking and helped with portion sizing so that there was no wastage and everyone was satisfied. The service from the staff was the perfect balance between personal and professional. We Would highly recommend the food, service and the team.

My wife did not like Indian food but this restaurant made her fall in love with Indian food. The staff and the owner all look after us really well and the palak paneer, butter chicken is always fantastic. 5 stars - keep up the good work

Customer service was great. Food taste was alright. But there was too much salad decor in plate, then actual curry. I went there with high expectations but disappointed with overall experience.

A quiet authentic indian restaurant. Staff were always there asking you whether everthing was ok. They suggested trying authentic indian dishes. We did. Yum !! Thank you for an enjoyable meal. Yes, we will book next time we come on a Saturday night. 😀 (Photo attached of my Goat curry)

The best Indian I've ever had and I've had a lot. By far the greatest service, the manager and owner are fabulous! Welcoming, friendly and humorous. The food is gourmet and the margaritas are the best!! We love this place!

After seeing great reviews on Google, my group of four traveled 20km to try out this place, and I must say, it was definitely worth the drive! It's not easy finding good quality Indian food on the Gold Coast, but the curries we tried were absolutely amazing. Each dish had its own unique flavor and character. For starters, we had the Murg Habibi and Banarsi Kabab, which were perfectly cooked with just the right amount of smokiness and juiciness. The only downside was that the dip that came with the starters was a bit diluted. For the main course, we tried the Chicken Bhuna, Goat Curry, and Creamy Black Lentils, which were all fantastic. The Dal was particularly outstanding, even compared to the meat dishes. We were especially delighted to see Roomali Roti on the menu, as it's a rare find in Indian restaurants in Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Overall, we were very satisfied with our experience and will definitely be visiting this place again.

I try anything on the menu and I have to say there no disadvantages in the flavour department and the tenderness is always a Guarantee with out fail

The Meen Moiley was excellent. The barramundi was perfectly cooked and the coconut and lemon sauce was delightful. The staff were very courteous and helpful. I would return without hesitation to this restaurant serving good Indian food.

Great food and service. Try the lamb cutlet entree WOW or the Barramundi entree WOW again. Had lamb Rogan Josh for main it had great flavour and the meat was very tender. Do not usually have desert however this time we did, once again fantastic. Highly recommend and going back soon

Thick, tasty and authentic curry literally drooling thinking about it! Probably the best indian cuisine I’ve had on the Gold Coast! Reasonably priced and well worth the visit! We had the madras, butter chicken and Rogan josh all were fab! If you love a good curry this is the place to go!

Just had amazing lunch with my family of six at Ginger Indian Gourmet, and it was absolutely a delightful experience. 10/10 for Handi chicken, Malai Paneer and Kasturi Kofta. The delicious food honestly took us back to the streets of North India and was very authentic. 11/10 for hospitality. Rajesh welcomed us all with warm smile and was very helpful with deciding what's the best. The tea after we finished our lunch was yummy too. Must Must Must visit 🧡

Went with friends for lunch. We ordered the lunch special, Chicken achari as entrée, with garlic naan, lamb bhoona chicken biriyani and chicken kadhai. The food was very tasty. The lamb was well done, very soft and tasty too. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others and also visit again to try their fish items. Hope to go again soon.
