Menu ordering and payment is completely online now. Firstly, the wrong order was brought to us. Secondly, we ordered a pasta dish with bread and specified no mushrooms due to an allergy. The dish came out with mushrooms. The third dish came without the bread. We gave up after that. Would not recommend. Service was okay however the food wasn’t great. Feels old and not fresh

Huge place with good seating options and views on the walk. Good lunch offers, but food portions and taste are not constant sadly. During busy hours the staff could easily forget about you! It's both family orie and trendy. Could use more creativity and attention to execution.

I ordered the new takeaway chicken and bacon pizza, took over 30 minutes and paid $28 with public holiday surcharge. The pizza looks absolutely disgusting, has no toppings whatsoever 3 small pieces of smoked cheese that’s in weird sized chunks, barely any chicken and raw little diced bacon that was raw, no cheese whatsoever and all I could smell was garlic and there was pieces of raw onion which was not supposed to be on the pizza and the pizza base was soggy and oily and soaked the bottom of the pizza box. So disappointed as this used to be a favourite place to go for pizza but never going again.

Visited Vapiano Soul for a late lunch. Ordered pasta and drinks. Staff was exceptionally friendly, and the pasta was filling and economically priced. Not overpriced; overall, a satisfying experience.

Great atmosphere and music. The servers were so charismatic and amazing, food was so good. Came for dinner and arrived during Happy Hour (4-7pm) so the food was cheaper. Would definitely come again!

I had a special request with a non alcoholic beer. Gabby was extremely helpful and accommodating. The staff’s attitude to help was amazing and appreciated by everyone in our group. It set the foundation for a good night out. Food was very good, service was on point and atmosphere was great. See you again soon.

Yummy food that came out very quickly and the service was great. Book in advance as the venue gets very busy on weekends. Tables could have been a bit cleaner but overall a good experience.

Friends and I were out late (10pm) at Surfers Paradise, we wanted something other than the same old same old food. I'm not speaking on behalf of my friends, this is my opinion alone. I'm thankful the restaurant the restaurant has vegan options. At this restaurant you ordered via a qr code at your table and pay via online than wait for the staff to bring out your order. So, there's minimal staff interaction. No one checks to see if your order is okay or "how's things going?" Reasonable price, my food and drink came to about $34. It's a nice little spot if you want to feel fancy for a decent price and if you want something other than the same old food to offer.

Pasta had burnt sauce. Pizza ($22) was flavour-less, like ingredients were frozen for a very long time. Manager said sorry but gave zero offers to resolve. No discount, voucher, anything. Wwaaaayyyy better pizza at 22 Pizza Joint and Broadbeach Pizzeria.

Thank you so much to Caroline from the Soul Boardwalk store on the Gold Coast! Not only was the food amazing but the customer service was just as good, during the busy night she made sure to check in and make sure everything was going well and we were comfortable and well looked after. We returned the following day for some happy hour drinks and she just happened to recognise my partner and I and popped on over to say hello and thank us being understanding and patient customers in the busy time, once again thank you Caroline!!

Dirty Chairs , Sticky n dirty Tables , stained and uncleaned plates, Had to wait 45-50 minutes for 1 pasta dish this is when the restaurant was only 60% full , we asked for our order thrice before it was served after 45 minutes, finally after getting the pasta (there was no cutlery on the table ) Pathetic Customer Service. The food was good , decent enough . You guys really need to work on cleanliness and hygiene and also prepare dishes on time .

All 3 of us enjoyed fabulous service and a delicious selection of Pizza 🍕 and Pasta dishes together with some house made Tiramisu 😋 we arrived almost near closing but were welcomed warmly 💛 Waitress Sara was outstanding ✨️

Staff were super friendly. There was a special needs person crying quite loudly and they handled it very professionally. Food was great and fairly quick to arrive. A free cocktail was alsl given to my wife as a birthday present to her. Very thankful to the staff for making this a great day :)

Lychee cocktail was nice. Hawaiian pizza was also good. It looked delicious. But it wasn't. Risotto took a bite as soon as it came out, but it was not warm and the rice grains were undercooked. Please pay attention to the cooking time. And Ragu pasta was bad. It's bland. It's a very ambiguous taste.. We called the staff and asked if this is how the ragupasta is supposed to come out. And we said there was less sauce. The staff said it was perfectly cooked… I want them to try it and review it for themselves. I won't stop you if you're curious about the taste, but I really don't recommend it. It was good that the food came out quickly. I hope you pay more attention to making it delicious.

Great place with fresh Italian food - all produce sourced locally! All their pasta comes with complimentary bread, and of course, they make it to your liking (love those pine nuts) right in front of you. Also, the cheesy garlic bread is worth the extra $2! Went here for a friend's birthday dinner, and the dessert staff in particular were very thoughtful :)

Its a cool idea but not into the whole having to stand there and wait whike they make it. Prefer if they just took your order and gave u a buzzer atleast or bring it out would be better. That would be sevice 👌 especially for thr price here. Bit expensive for some 2 minute noodles....

The food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious, and Lara, our waitress, was absolutely amazing! The flavors were on point, and Lara provided excellent service. It was truly a memorable dining experience! Had to come back for seconds, Beverages were spectacular highly recommend 🍽️👩‍🍳

Vapiano is always a good choice. We dined here more than once in the latter part of July 2022. The food and service are consistently good. Location in the heart of Surfers Paradise is handy. They necessarily use an online ordering system, like so many others now. Some members of our group liked this: others miss the opportunity to talk directly to the person making their pasta. The only downside is that you cannot make a booking for a group of less than six people.

Vapiano is a good staple place to visit for those who like Italian vibes and food. There's a blend between a classy and youthful vibe here that invites families and young groups of people who are keen to have a pasta fix and a drink or two before going out for the night. For those who would rather keep to themselves, you can order your meal through your smartphone by scanning the QR code on your table. The pizza I ordered came in a respectable time and the flavor was nice. The slices could've held together a little better though, as they were prone to fall apart without two hands to gingerly hold them together. The staff were mostly professional, however, one of them took unusually long to provide us with chili flakes after we specifically asked for them (they arrived about 15 minutes later, by which time we'd finished eating). I note that the restaurant was busy with most tables occupied, but still was a minor frustration. The decor here is similar to most other restaurants in this franchise, although the big blackboard with Italian phrases and funny statements was an amusing read. An entree, main meal and a simple alcoholic drink (e.g. beer) will put you back about $40-$50. About average for the price. A respectable place that you might revisit every now and then. Refreshing the menu and theme of the place might make it more enticing.

Always a great experience eating here, a family favourite. Location: The location of this is great being close to the beach, has views of Cavill avenue and very spacious with seating inside and outside on the balcony. Staff: The staff are always friendly, working hard and attentive. Food: The food ordered is always to a high standard and well made. Accessibility: The accessibility is by an escalator or lift, wheelchair friendly. Definitely a great place to visit when in surfers. Lunch deals are available and the cheesecake desserts are amazing.

At the centre of the mall, nice atmosphere. Kids pizza look cute and the pepperoni pizza is ok, pretty standard. However the carbonara spaghetti was so dry when it was served to our table, lack of cream sauce, and the whole spaghetti remained in the bowl shape when I pick it up.

Always love Vapes when we visit the Gold Coast. Even Covid-19 can't mess with Vapianos delicious meals and preparation style.

We came here for dinner during a family holiday and had a beautiful meal. The location, atmosphere and service is all fabulous! The highlight for me was the Espresso Martini! Delicious!

Pasta here is absolutely amazing, little expensive but happy to pay for amazing food and drinks. Atmosphere was great as the buskers were performing below, while I sat on the balcony. Only issue is the service was lacking a little, but I suppose that's due to the scan and order table service. Would definatly reccomend

We love Vapianos for a local and safe dining option for my family (1 teen with coeliac disease and dairy allergy). Also great for groups which we have done several times for birthdays and interstate family catch-ups. The app ordering makes things easy and painless and you don’t have to leave your table and stop socialising to place an order. My only suggestion would be, checking the flavour of your cocktails. I have had them many times before and really liked them but last nights lacked flavour. Maybe too much ice? I don’t know, but I could not taste the pink tin and the passion fruit was just ordinary.

Went here tonight with my husband as we are on our honeymoon currently. The staff were amazing and friendly. Special mention to the manager as well as Pabliny at the bar. They were so amazing and helpful! Thankyou to the staff for making our night even more special!

Good food, top-tier service, vegan and gluten free friendly! The food was great, but gave it 4 stars because the pizza was not as hot as it could have been, that is the cheese was not very gooey. However presentation and favor of the pizzas was good. Gluten free pizza crust was extremely tasty, and didn’t require any additional seasoning. Recommend the coffee date cocktail!

Food serving sizes weren’t as big as I expected. There wasn’t really many appealing dairy free options. I’m not a fan of vegan cheeses. Otherwise the food and drinks were nice. I like the option to order from the QR code but when you have a special request or dietary requirement it wasn’t possible to do that on the app.

We came here Saturday night and it was pumping, we never seen it so busy and good vibes. Mateo is fantastic, he greeted us right away and found us a space outside. Andreas was our waiter and he was so sweet and kind. He rolled over the heater for us and he was so sweet and kind. My husband got the spagetti bread and I got the chicken Caesar salad. Everything was delicious. Thank-you we will be back!

AMAZING DINING EXPERIENCE! The service and food was absolutely beautiful!!! Our wonderful waitress Lara was incredible! Definitely coming back when we return to surfers for our next holiday! Highly recommend this beautiful family-friendly restaurant if your in the GC! Our family left no food on their plates, big win!

I had a mozzarella and mushroom pizza fold-over for great value as it was part of a $10 lunch special. The servers were very friendly. The ordering system is a little bit complicated and unexpected for a restaurant (felt like a shopping centre food outlet) but overall, I had a nice experience. Just don't sit outside as the birds will attack! The staff are amazing for putting up with it and having to clean up the glass they break.

Decent food. Make sure to read the lunch specials as they go from Monday to Thursday, not Monday to Friday; so you could imagine the horror when I received the bill haha. Overall great place and would recommend

Freaking amazing food and service. Everything was super fresh. We got the caprese board, lasagne, gnocchi bolognaise and gnocchi basilico. The only challenge we had is that its hard to have a conversation with your group when it's busy but I think it caters to a young crowd whose hearing isn't affected by Age!... I love the concept of going up to order and watching it get cooked .

Very nice and friendly staff, bu below average food. Especially lasagne, which consisted of large cold meatballs quickly mixed with tomato sauce and put in the oven to let the cheese melt, but was still cold inside.

The food was wonderful but the logistics of ordering was kind of confusing and requires a long wait (wait to enter the restaurant then wait in a line to order food) and then use an additional card to pay.

The food was honestly preety ordinary - the lasagne reminded me of a coles microwaved meal - legit - that’s what it tasted like ... the salad had absolutely no dressing and consisted of in large part iceberg lettuce (cheap and bitter) raw onion also formed another element and in portions larger than most would desire. The staff had pleasant dispositions. The pina colada was nice however for the price was rather small. Not a fan of the clumsy ordering process my partners meal (penne carbonara) was near eaten by the time mine rattled the buzzer (reminded me of the local golf club setup) ... My partner spent most of the time ordering (gone for fifteen minutes) whilst I sat at the table with the pina colada and drank it on my own ...she came back - and ate - 2/3rds through the meal off I went to collect mine - by the time I came back she was finished .... overall not an experience I expect to pay market price for and yet am not waited on at all... I get owners are trying to save every penny with the automation however, it presents and is recieved as a lesser than average experience.

I would give them 5 stars for their friendly staffs but they made me disappointed when they bring the burnt pizza out. It’s so bad that I can’t even finish it. Then they replaced it with a new one, which still burnt but just a little bit. Hope I will get something better next time.

fettuccine was bit hard, but pizza was really good. What really bothers me is the way to order, cooks their are not good at customer service, and I can't blame them for that as that is not their jobs, they are just there to cook. Overall it was not a pleasant experience : )

Good location, although on the pricey side both the drink menu and a fair few of the dishes are worth it. Would definitely recommend the seafood pasta.

Went to dinner at Vapianos Surfers Paradise last night and unfortunately the service was not up to scratch. Ordered 2 appetisers and 1 pizza, when the appetisers were ready we were buzzed to collect the food and the young lady working the pizza side took the buzzer without giving the pizza. I asked to see if I should get the buzzer back to wait for the pizza or if it was ready now, and I was met with a rude reply of “it’ll be ready when it’s ready”. After 15 minutes of waiting, went back over to check again with the same staff member and she rudely snapped “I already told you it’s not ready, I’ll bring it out when it’s done”. Completely unnecessary to snap at me like this as I was simply asking a question. Once the food was all done, we went to pay. I handed over a $50 note to pay for my meal and no cash is accepted. I understand you’re trying to limit cash handling for covid reasons but it’s still a legal tender of payment? I didn’t have my card on me, only cash so I had to have a friend pay for me. Never had a bad experience here before until last night.

Bad customer service. I had not been there before ,I wanted take away I was given 2 cards but no instruction on how to order food. Also did not appreciate the smart mouth of the girl on the register when my qr scanner did not work and I asked to sign In instead .

Visited this place today. Their seating was great. Had their freshly made spaghetti with mushrooms and chicken which was delicious. Even had their pasta with prawns which too was very good. Their servers too were great.

Arthur make it his goal to make sure that we were looked after on our honeymoon. Not only was the service sublime from all the waiters and waitresses but they sat us outside on the perfect table to see and listen to the performances. Arthur was an excellent host and we are very grateful for his service. We will be back many more times to create more amazing memories! Thanks again guys!
