A bit disappointed to be honest. Booked three nights camping and the spots are tiny! Not made for hybrids let alone a full van. Our 15ft barely fit and the sites are uneven with steep slopes. There is nothing free to do for the kids. Every single activity costs money so this is not a long weekend spot in my opinion. The activities also aren’t cheap. You can expect to pay $100 p/child to keep them entertained. Honestly a playground would have been nice. Even the trampoline costs $10. The junior treetop challenge was great but people arrive late which result in the kids having less time. (There should be a cutoff really). My son probably lost 30-40min due to late arrivals. Two stars feel harsh but not sure the full three is adequate *update after park response Clearly you’ve never tried to occupy a two and five year old with only mini golf and pickle ball being the cheapest activities. If you’re staying three nights the kids won’t play more than once. It’s the middle of winter so swimming? And again, I’m not taking my two and five year old on multiple of the same bush-walks. I may have read your park flyer wrong but I was sure there was mention of a trampoline. If not my error. Doesn’t change my comments re the costs. I’m not trying to pick a fight but it is clear from your response on other reviews you don’t like negative reviews. Negative reviews can lead to amazing growth. Wishing your park all the best.

    - Severe lack of amenities for the number of people using them. - 2 showers in the block, with only 1 shower able to work at a time due to terrible water pressure. If one shower was already in use, you could only get a small dribble out of the other shower. - Hot water stopped halfway through the kids shower. - Amenities very dirty. Cleaning schedule shows full cleans once a week and spot cleans when needed however the showers consistently had gravel/mud on the floor and in the mats and toilets smelled with dirty floors and walls. - The amenities are certainly showing their age, I've been reading other reviews that they were to be scheduled to be replaced over a year ago. We received an email stating they were to be replaced later this year, on the blocks themselves they state 2024. - Reception staff had no idea about park activities e.g. where to find them in the park, how to book, cost etc. Their advice was to look on the website for further information however phone service was rare. - Everything was very run down, money made is obviously pocketed and nothing much put back into the park. For a park of this size and popularity I certainly expected a lot more professionalism and a higher standard but I guess their well known name gets visitors coming along regardless of the disappointments. On a positive note, the kids had a ball playing in the creek, rock pools and wading pools.

We were lucky enough to only have a small group of 4 which made the experience amazing. I had my 12yr old son with me and at no time was I worried for his safety on the Zip-line tour. Georgie, Blair & Tali we’re absolutely sensational, welcoming, well trained and knowledgeable, but most importantly extremely fun. Would recommend this experience to anyone… just make sure you ask for these champions as guides.

Thought we would give this place a try so we camped for 3 nights here. Probably never again. Total dust pit and the amount of showers (2) and toilets for amount of campers is always a wait not to mention any toilet paper by the evening. Anything for the kids costs a fortune here and for the price of a camp-site each night is expensive and a big 4 is much better value if camping with kids. Won't be recommending this place. Edit after reply: For what you pay it's not worth it. Also you have very unhappy over worked staff by the sounds of the conversation the whole Cafe area heard while waiting for coffee. Fighting over who was going to bring it to the owners attention about not having enough fridge space for the drinks that are sold. (Kinda like the showers and toilet situation, for the amount of guests) This is not a park to stay if you have more than 1 child ( I have 3) . Rock pools are free everywhere and paying for a jumping castle is ridiculous. We payed for the 3 kids to dig and then had to pay $15 an adult to watch them. Then pay to get them cut open. It never ends here $$$ . I'm just letting families know what they are in for if booking here. I think you need to take some of these comments on board.

Did the kids treetop challenge with my 3 and 6 year olds and they both had the best fun. 4 different courses of varying difficulty. The instructors were all so friendly, helpful and amazing with the kids. Great value for money. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing spot for the kids. We stayed this time on a powered caravan site, we had birds visit 4/5 times a day to say hello and jump on your shoulders and head. We were able to have fires but this may have changed since we are warming up. Paddle boat's, buggy rides, tree top challenge, rock pools, it has it all. Really nice for a quick getaway for all. We will be back.

What a wonderful place for families! There is so much for people of all ages to do. There is no entry fee and the prices for most activities are so reasonable. The restaurant food was lovely. All staff were amazing and so helpful. All they want to do is make sure you have a great time. The only small criticism I would have would be the cost of the paddle boats, otherwise it is a magnificent place and you can have so much fun there without hiring a paddle boat. I would highly recommend families enjoyed an outing there.

We stopped by to have a coffee in the rainforest and to check this place out, on our way home from a trip to Mount Tamborine. We were amazed at how big the grounds are and by the number of activities available, plus a variety of different accommodation types that would suit families or couples. We enjoyed our coffee sitting out on the huge deck area next to the kiosk and taking in the pure fresh air and chirping birds. We didn't need food but it looked fresh and was well priced. I think this place would be fantastic for a family holiday or day trip.

Need to improve toilet and kitchen facilities; campsites require maintenance - way too many large rocks, uneven ground, etc.

This is a really fun place! The staff are very informative and will run you through things when it comes to the mining. There are plenty of other activities and food to eat. It can get very busy, but worth the trip!!

We did the tree surfing, the safety briefing and fitting the harness takes up to an hour. But when you get on the course it's so much fun. There are a good range of courses from beginner purple, to green practice, red intermediate, Blue Advanced, and Black Expert. Oh and really cool red 2, course takes you back to reception via 2 fun zip lines. All in all highly recommended.

Arrived at 2pm on Friday and stayed one night, that was more than enough! Food down by the mini golf course was atrocious and overpriced as was the breakfast buffet. Who serves up tinned mushrooms!!!? Absolutely disgusting!! Beds haven't been changed since the 70's and realistically speaking the whole place needs blowing up and starting again!! Great for tourists to feel like they were robbed!!

The park was great There were many different activities to suit different age groups and interests. Our kids did the junior treetop adventure and they enjoyed it to the max. The two hours was full of fun. Some were a bit scared at first but the different level really helped them to master their skills before getting to the harder part. The three staff members for the 2pm session on the 12th of June were extremely friendly and even learnt all the kid's names and were encouraging them throughout. I just remember one of them were Gaby and there was another lady and one gentlemen whom were as friendly and lovely to deal with. The owners must acknowledge their excellent services.

I went zip lining with my family and we had the pleasure of meeting Jarrod and Jack who took care of us for the day. They made the experience that much better with their funny personalities and kind nature! They make you feel very comfortable if you haven’t done zip lining before. We had lots of laughs and I would highly recommend them :) Thanks again!!

Awesome place for outdoor adventures. The Treetop Challenge was fantastic. There are 4 levels of difficulty to try. But what impressed me most was how friendly the staff was. Several times throughout the day they would sincerely stop to chat with us and make sure we were having fun. I would highly recommend a visit.

Beautiful location to go thunder egg hunting. Great briefing before we went in so we knew what we were looking for. It took 2 hours but we found some BIG ones which my daughter was extremely happy to find. Panned for crystals then had some lunch before a round of mini golf to finish the day. Fantastic family day had!

Pretty good, The activities are nice and enjoyable. My favorite's being the Laser skirmish and tree top challenge. The nature is stunning, especially around the creek with lots of diverse and flourishing animal species living here. all in all a solid 4/5, my only dislikes being the fact that there are insects everywhere but that's pretty much expected anywhere.

Thunder Bird park is so fantastic for a day of fun. We have primarily visited for the tree top challenge and spent some time at the cafe and we always have such an amazing time. The staff are all super friendly and helpful. The tree to challenge is amazing fun but is not crazily Challenging unless you really want it to be. We have seen that there is a camp ground on site which we are hoping to come and stay at soon. The falls are only a hop skip and a jump away too if you are up for a nice natural place to swim.

A fantastic long weekend getaway for the whole family and friends. We hired a bush cabin and our friends wanted to camp in their tent so we’re able to book a camping spot near our cabin. Our bush cabin was so comfortable and had everything we needed, even a little fire pit outside that we enjoyed with our friends one night - we purchased wood from reception $20 for a 20kg bag. We spent one day on the Tree top adventure park and this was most definitely the highlight of our holiday - me, hubby and both our boys (12 & 10) enjoyed all the levels, including the Black one! Super fun! I would recommend booking in for the first session of the day,l so that you have the whole day to enjoy all the different runs and avoid getting stuck behind people as much. There are cold water stations around the tree top adventure park but none whatsoever around Thunderbird park grounds itself. You can’t really drink the tap water as it’s heavily chlorinated and reception staff told us we had to purchase drinking water from the cafe! Ridiculous given the amount of money we already spent staying the long weekend at the park. They really need to make water bubblers available throughout the whole park. Otherwise everything else was fabulous!

Did the canyon flyer. Probably one of the best things I’ve done. The views were spectacular racing down the zip line 50ks is pretty good too. We had Tyler and Gabbi who were really friendly and had a really cool funny chemistry between the two of them. If you’re scared at the beginning these two will make you feel comfortable by the end because they make it look easy. Would 100% do it again highly recommend.

We stayed in our own camper, sites were great size and mostly flat. Power was easily accessible. Would have liked a concrete slab in our site just to help with the sand/dirt. We booked two sites for two campers but could have easily just had one. Amenities were cleaned regularly. Staff were great, we will be going back again. Can get very busy so book your activities before you go.

Great destination for the whole family. The kids loved the junior high ropes course and we are excited to go back to try the adult course and some putt putt. The three instructors were absolutely fantastic and were so engaged with all participants, they made the kids feel safe and ensured everyone had fun.

We took our kids here to do the Thunderegg mining. It was a really fun day and we got some really nice souvenirs to take home. The staff were very friendly and the food was great. Next time we will come for longer as there were so many fun looking activities that we were not able to do. 5 Stars

Gorgeous spot. Lovely staff. The on-site restaurant is to die for (get the lamb rack!). The camping sites are spacious with stunning backdrops and all have fire pits. Fossicking here for thunder eggs is a must. (Hint- everything is a thunder egg). Only suggestion would be for a free playground within the campground. My daughter turned into full stalker mode to make friends with out the social structure of a kid's playground. The camp kitchen facilities are really well considered. Highly recommend!

We've lived on the Gold Coast for a few years now and only just visited here. The kids loved it. The crystal mining was the highlight for our 6yo son and in his words, "this is the best day ever" it was hot, but seeing how happy he was hacking away at the ground with an axe made me happy. A great father son bonding experience.

  • 4/5 Mark B. 2 years ago on Google
There is a good range of activities here for all ages. We opted for panning, buying a bag of sand with gems inside for the kids to pan nearby as it was cheaper and good for young kids(up to around 12). At the same place you can also go down to the creek and dig out some thunder eggs and get them cut open. Can be a bit pricey once you start to pay for each cut but is a unique experience.this would be good for all ages, even adults.

Beautiful camping spot. We slept right near the water. It was beautiful and the perfect temperature for a dip in the hot summer. I recommend if your light sleeper, taking some ear buds for the loud cicadas in the morning. A great and welcoming place to stay.

Can't wait for the next trip. We had a mom and son trip and enjoyed every bit of it. Well maintained, great landscaping preserving the natural habitat. It's one of the best. Mini golf and crystal mining are something you should never miss out here

Second time we've been here for the high ropes. First time was for adults, second time for the kids. It never disappoints. So much fun, the kids had a ball. There's different stages for kids who are more daring than others. It's a good energy burner and we had a lovely lunch at the kiosk afterwards.

Absolutely beat all the theme parks in Gold Coast in every way, most favourite and exiting attraction on our stay. We did the guided Zip line with staff Eddie and Calum who both interacted with the whole group to make the day a completely amazing fun experience - they both have personalities that reduce any fear or anxiety of heights and make everyone laugh and enjoy the whole 3 hours Next holiday we will stay at Thunderbird Park for accommodation to capture the whole experience and beautiful surroundings Only regret is we didn’t have more time to explore the many attractions and activities available at Thunderbird Park - all ages and fitness/fear levels will love this Shel 🌈🦋

The restaurant offers a great dining experience, with staff who are extremely friendly and helpful. The food sets a high standard, with great tasting meals, and a wide range of wines and liqueurs. There are a few activities nearby, such as mini golf, which cater to different playing abilities, as well as a lovely tree top course.

I visited for the Treetop Challenge, where the staff were very encouraging and friendly! Even offered to take some videos of us up on the course. I took a walk around the park after, which has some lovely scenery and small trails. It is a fantastic place to spend the day.

I recently had the pleasure of taking my daughter to Thunderbird Park. We were lucky enough to have Ryan and Jake as our guides for the Canyon Flyer, and wow, what a great adventure that was. It is well worth the money, and Ryan and Jake make the whole adventure entertaining. In our group were some very nervous flyers to people who just loved the entire experience, and they were excellent at catering to everyone. Thank you, Ryan and Jake, for making it a wonderful birthday for my 15-year-old daughter.

Beautiful location amongst the trees with space to find a quiet spot. Disability access and services are limited with most pathways gravel and uneven. Coffee was good but the service was slow and not enough space for the amount of people wanting to use the cafe. Good activities for children of all ages, even the kids a heart. Car parking would be an issue during peak times.

Great place for day trips for any adventurous adults and kids. Took our two young kids (below primary age) to Dig It. Really cool, kids under 5 have to be on a parent/guardians lap to operate the excavators but really well run, helpful staff and was really safe. Good price too, only pay for the kids, accompanying adults go free. My wife and I previously did the treetop challenge which was great fun too. Yet to explore the other activities here but will in future.

Took my 4 year old daughter here to complete the junior tree top course. The staff were great, friendly and helpful. They had a lot of kids to manage and did a great job. My daughter had the best time. Definitely recommend!

Rated the rooms a 5 star because I have no idea of the condition as we stayed in a camper. Site was amazing however neighbours a little to close. Toilets were horrendous but they are getting upgraded soon. The rest of the park is stunning. The rock mining is out of this world and the cafe was clean with delicious food.

The zip lines are wonderful, seeing the magnificent canopy and enjoying the experience. Friendly and nice guides, telling jokes at times and totally professional. More than willing to come again, bringing new friends as well! But do be reminded that it’s fully booked all the time, it would be better on weekday mornings and to book a few days before.

Great facility at the Woodland Tent. Beds are comfortable and the shower was good except it floods into the other side of the bathroom. The Farm to Hamper BBQ was great. The restaurants should all be opened to serve everyday so that guests can have more choices to choose from.

Most comfortable beds of my whole holiday, and they were in a tent! The glamping tents are magnificent. The rocks pools are beautiful, the thunder egg mine was a lot of work, but so fun. The whole family is dreaming of going back already. The housekeeping staff was so kind and helpful. We also really loved the dog that lives there. Thank you for an amazing trip!

We 3 mums took the kids (6-7) on the Adventure tree top challenge. It was fabulous. They loved it. Four different challenge levels to suit the confidence level of every child. Didn’t realise there was so much else to do, and accommodations as well! Will definitely be back to try a new activity. We’re so lucky to have Mr Tamborine so close, such a beautiful spot.

  • 4/5 Isobel S. 8 months ago on Google
Great views, cheap campsite and lots of activity. Feedback: 1) hot water was not on one of the days and staff member had to turn it back on 2) hotplates in the outdoor kitchen were broken 3) nights that the restaurant was open they had the music ridiculously loud up to 10pm, even for my standards of living in fortitude valley. What I will note is Monday to Wednesday it was a quiet and relaxing stay at night when it was closed which I expect when camping Overall we had a fanatic time and the location is beautiful.

Visited on the weekend and did the Tree Top Challenge. The tree top challenge was very fun but very physically demanding (which was expected). It takes about 3 hours to complete all the courses. I would highly recommend booking in advance to secure a spot as it’s very popular. There is also other activities there like mini golf and Crystal mining. The food from the cafe there was absolutely delicious as well. There is plenty of parking as well. Would highly recommend!

It was unfortunate our pitch was right next to the toilets and entrance gate so there was a unique small and view and a lot of “traffic” constantly going past. The stay was nice, there were a few weddings that occurred over the same weekend, although we were not camping close by the music and volume carried throughout the campsite in the evening and it was a little hard to get to sleep with loud music playing till midnight, especially when staying in a tent with thin walls. Other than that the kids enjoyed themselves and it was a fun stay.

Incredible! The staff are what makes this park such a wonderful and family-friendly vacation. We were only greeted with enthusiastic and caring staff at every activity we did with the kids. The organisation of Dig It and Junior Tree Climb was phenomenal and the three boys in particular (Nathaniel, Callum and Griffin) were so nurturing and enthusiastic. Will definitely be returning!!! Thank you guys for being a part of lifelong memories for my family

Great atmosphere, surrounded by nature. Junior treetops for kids was great and worth it. There are 4 courses, with each course increasing in difficulty. All children start at 1 and then progress as they become more confident or they have the opportunity to go on whatever course they like. Also its wonderful to see how they protect the trees without drilling support into them. Lunch within the restaurant was over pirced and the quality of food wasn't good, even the kids didn't eat. DIG IT experience was a hit with the kids, more suited for the older ones that can negotiate the controls. 3 machines in each of the 3 areas, with 2 open play areas for kids to wait for their turn and seats for parents. Not shaded in some areas but otherwise fantastic experience. Will come back again soon to try out other experiences.

We attended a wedding and stayed in the glamping tents for two nights. The entire thing was amazing, beautiful venue, lovely grounds, the tents were gorgeous and really nice staff. The only I would say was in the middle of winter we needed extra blankets and there were no spares in the room. Other than that, absolutely perfect. We will be back :)

Amazing experience for kids age 3-8 years encouraging confidence and team building skills. The guides were also amazing with the kids even remembering their names on a personal basis. Had the best experience on the Canyon Flyer tour! Blair ( Green Eagle) & Jack were amazing tour guides! So many dad jokes were cracked & they made the whole experience so much more fun! Can only comment on the Treetop challenge, was worth every penny, $60 per adult. We did 5 of the 6 courses, black course nearly killed me, the hanging discs near the end, hardest challenge I've done in many years. Highly recommend trying this out. Did t eat there but kiosk also has decent price food.

Wow! This was without a doubt a 5 star experience. The treetop challenge was a great time and it really brought on a sweat. Not the bad kind. More like the kind you get from when you make love. A sweat you enjoy. If you aren't at least a little bit athletic, you would not enjoy this as much as I did. Worth a check if you are visiting and are a thrill seeker. Oh, and the staff were lovely.

A nice place with lots to do for the kids. However, activities are very over priced. $100 for a ride on the zip line. $80 for 4 kids to use the paddle bikes for 15 min. We have been here for 6 nights and spent a fortune on activities. We decided to have breakfast at the restaurant and got declined because we were staying on a camp site and they said we could only have breakfast in the restaurant if we were staying in a cabin. Found this very strange as there were barely any people in the restaurant. It's not like they were busy. Also found it very offensive. This was not the only time we found the restaurant staff to be rude. The restaurant and admin / reception staff give a very strong impression that they don't want anyone there. They certainly need a few lessons in customer service!!!. Recommend it for camping, but would steer well clear of the restaurant and only stay here with kids if you are cashed up.

It was so much fun! The staff at the kiosk and the Treetop climb were all lovely. My gf and I climbed stages 1 & 2 ( I am terribly unfit but I survived!) And had a blast! My kids went on and completed the whole thing!! (Bar the blue section as they are too short, lol) they had so much fun!! I like that at no stage on the Treetop challenge are you EVER disconnected (not even on the ladders) making it incredibly safe. The different stages are great as you can either, get off at stages 1 or 2 or continue through the course. The walk back to the reception was beautiful (be careful on the path as it's all natural path; rocks, tree roots, wet in some places) was stunning with nature being her beautiful self.. There are also water stations throughout the course! I also panned for crystals and found heaps!! It was wonderful. We all absolutely recommend you have a go!! Definitely bring a water bottle as it's thirsty work!

WOW. With everything going on this year and running our business we left organising our Christmas Party to the last minute. We live on the mountain and thought it would be a nice change for our staff, sub-contractors and their partners to attend the Christmas Party at Thunderbird Park. What an experience. The staff could not do enough for us they were so friendly, attentive and accommodating nothing was too much of an ask. Thank you for making our night in the Miners Lantern Club Lounge a memorable one. It was received so well by all who attended and it opened their eyes to what a magic place Thunderbird Park is.

We stayed for one night in campervan. We hadn't booked and were stuck up the mountain in the town, when there was an accident half way down, meaning we couldn't get to Thunderbird Park. We couldn't get down the otherside to go elsewhere and began to panic. Thunderbird park were so helpful and brilliant, they left us a package and a map, allowing us to check in late and find a spot. Very grateful for the service we recieved and the help. Will deffinatley return, with more time to spend in the park!

The staff were friendly and after the first zip line you go on your own way through the challenge. There are staff around to help as well if needed. The only problem I believe was the time, we didn't get to finish the very last challenge which was devastating and you can go back and start half way so we didn't go back for the challenge as we saw it as a waste for 1 challenge. I ached for about a week, im not unfit or anything I believe its due to the balancing things. Wasnt overly painful, kinda like you've just exercised after not exercising for months. We went back a couple o le weeks later to do the zip lines. The boys there were hilarious and chatted with all of us throughout the whole thing. The views were amazing but hard to take photos of. I do believe the price should change as there are only 7 (or 1 less than it states) zip lines as one was eaten away by termites. The drive up was harsh so if you have any leg or back problems I'd mention it, there wouldn't be much they can do as its a 4wd up the rocky hills. Id go again in a year or so and probably stay there a couple days.

We had a great time staying there and found the staff to be friendly and considerate with our requests. Tamara and Monica took a lot of time and effort into making our stay one to remember and we wouldnt have any problem recommending them. Thanks again girls we look forward to seeing you again soon!

The kids and i went mining at Thunderbird park! entry was cheap and there's no set time as to how long you can mine for. We left happy with our buckets filled with our finds and a whopping 26kg thunder egg I'd dug up. A great family day out, especially for anyone interested in rocks and minerals!

Really great fun to have outdoors! Can get busy but still enjoyable. I'd definitely come back when it's quieter though.

Enjoy the digging for Thunderbird eggs. A strenuous exercise but thoroughly commendable and rewarding. Seeing the cutting and polishing of your efforts were fascinating. Plenty of other outdoor activities available, if you are less inclined to fossicking. Cafe available to refresh, on a hot day activities.

Waited ages to get thunder eggs cut and were charged each individually (cutting not included in ticket price - bit dissapointing). Cafe needed more chairs and lots more shade to cope with the number of people. Food was really good and reasonably priced though!

Beware – if you want to stay at Cedar Creek Lodges – book ahead. However, when you do get here you will be pleased with the experience. I wanted a special and different 2 nights away with my girlfriend and if this is what you are looking for, this is your place. We stayed in one of their spa rooms and the spa is ginormous and the room is also fitted out with a bar fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. Ok, you can tell it used to be a motel, but so what. It has a comfortable king size bed and the furnishings seemed ok to me and my girlfriend actually said how much she liked the ‘ambience’. The views are fabulous and we sat out on the lawn and drank some local wine and even talked to some other couples as well. We had booked for a horse trail ride which we enjoyed, once we finally got hold of the operator. From what I understand, the activities within Thunderbird Park are separately owned, but the receptionist Zoe at the lodges is fabulous and makes sure you get into everything you want. We also did the zip line – wow, this was unbelievable. My girlfriend also fitted in a massage in our room after all of the exercise. Ate in their restaurant, played the putt putt, walked to the Cedar Falls, watched the 2pm bird feeding and probably had a few too many of their cocktails, but for a good reason, the waiter Levie knows how to make awesome cocktails.

We found this place by accident today as we were going to cedar creek falls. No parking available so we came here for a nosey. Headed down to the fun park and its was brilliant!! The guy's working there were just lovely and friendly. We had so much fun on the paddle boat. We will definitely come again and bring the family.

Fantastic day and experience though perhaps some shade sails could be put up as it's so hot and not many shadowy trees in the mine for miners to dig under

Had an amazing and fun time on the Canyon Flyer. Our tour guides, Jewel and Lawson, were amazingly funny and made flying several hundred feet in the air a breeze. Definately worthwhile and worth every cent. Stayed a couple nights in the Lotus tents and were not disappointed by our 'glamping' experience. With a gorgeous private deck and bathroom, evenings were calming and relaxing. I do recommend, if you go fossicking, to go during the cooler months and to start early in the day as it is a tiring experience, but very well worth it. Came off the mine with a couple small eggs with some lovely colours and designs. Had a wonderful trip and would highly recommend going and spending a few days.

Have been for for both the Treetop Challenge and most recently the canyon flyer. Both times have been absolutely phenomenal. Plenty of parking and a gorgeous trip up the mountain to get here. Check in process is quick and easy. The staff are very knowledgeable and up for a good chat as you go about. Our tour guides today, Casey and Coby were truly wonderful, and made the experience so much better. Genuinely a bellyful of laughs interspersed with some magical scenery. Will recommend time and again.

We did the ziplining at Thunderbird Park - a fantastic experience with wonderful scenery. Great instructors and super safety conscious. Definitely recommend this as a half day out. Grab lunch at the onsite restaurant - perfect egg & bacon rolls (according to my very hungry son!)

We recently stayed in one of the lotus tents for two nights on the 'romance' package and loved it! The tent was very well appointed, the bed was super comfortable and the open-air rainfall shower was fabulous. We sipped bubbles and ate chocolate-coated strawberries on our own private deck overlooking the flowing creek. It was a perfect way to celebrate our 24th anniversary. Will definitely return.

Where the begin. Everything was great from start to finish. Plenty of parking available (though we did have the first session of the day), the check-in process for the junior low ropes course was speedy as we pre-completed the waiver, all of the staff we came across were genuinely friendly and helpful. The gearing up process was efficient and the gear and course were in perfect condition which was reassuring. The three ladies that looked after our session were great. Our kids (4 and 7) loved them. The course was well thought out in building up their confidence as my 7-year-old looked at one of the higher sections upon arrival and said she didn't think she was going to do that but she did with flying colours. They had an absolute ball and refused to stop for the whole two hours. An amazing experience for both kids and us as proud spectators. We are planning to camp for a few days so we can enjoy all of the activities. We couldn't fit them all in. Cannot wait to return.

Treetop challenge had a neat little sprinkler system to cool off in between levels. And a bubbler too. Recommend you go for the morning session if you want to take your time, or need to take your time going through each challenge. Else you will run out of time in the end

Extremely expensive family day out. We booked 2 kids to ride the pony, $50 and the ride was 6 minutes!! Agree with earlier comment on charging to supervise children while they mined and then to charge to cut open the rocks. On the flip side, if you like the zip lining that was fairly reasonable. Would we go again, no way and wouldn’t recommend it.

Very disappointing. While the location and facilities are ok. The behaviour of some guests was inconsiderate. Staff could not care in the least. When a group arrived and set up next to us. We had a lovely spot next to the water. They got out this Hookah (Arabic pipe smoking) thing. Pumps huge amounts of smoke and the wind blew this in our direction. I went to reception and was told they were not doing anything illegal there was nothing they could do….. REALLY?? Smoking has been banned in public outdoor areas for a reason and while there may be a technicality that allows someone to use this type of machine in a public place, this is second-hand smoke it is DANGEROUS to other guests. What the Hell! In the early hours, more people were added to this group who played loud music and shinning lights until 2 am. Police attended! the music was turned off until the police left. Where was management! The staff could have done something and addressed this behaviour but they didn’t. They seemed annoyed when I complained. Could it be the staff knew these guests ? Because while you are only allowed to have one car parked per site they had three. We were given the option to move away from the water, we took that option only because apparently the staff's duty of care does not extend to people smoking a Hookah or loud music. We won’t be staying there again. The response from the owner is typical of the experience we and so many others had. Dishonest and dismissive! No one should be subject to secondhand smoke at anytime, anywhere. My wife has stage IV breast cancer. When I explained that to the lady on the desk. She just said what they are doing isn't illegal and there is nothing the could do. Lie. There is nothing they wanted to do. This business action or rather inaction is out of step with the rest of Queensland. You can't smoke in a national Park, why should you be able to smoke at a camp ground. You shouldn't. I notice the response from the business doesn't answer why the police were called to attend the park to speak with the same group of people. I did report the matter to the council, because this is the correct course of action. As is raising the matter with the local member of Parliament. A responsible business would not permit smoking of any kind.
