Visited the museum today (August 2018). What an amazing place. The items on display and the buildings show exactly what life was like in days gone by. The volunteers had such a wealth of knowledge (photography / horse handling / local events and history). A must for kids and adults alike.

Highly recommend a visit. The museum was so interesting and very well organized. The people who work there were amazing, they all spoke to us and showed us lots of different aspects about the exhibits. George ( a gentleman who works there) told us some bush poetry and played the bugle for us. The staff even invited us to join them for morning tea.

Very knowlegeable and dedicated local volonteers! A jump in the farming past of Mudgereeba and the Gold Coast in general. Thank you all very much, especially George who took me on a historic driving tour of Mudgereeba!

Our son went to the museum for a school trip and wanted to return with his family in tow. We spent a lovely couple of hours there on a Sunday afternoon. The staff are wonderful. The museum is small and quaint, but for the inquisitive of mind, there’s much to look at and the guides enjoy a chinwag.
