I was excited to come here, but I found it to be disappointing. It was hard to navigate around, as the signage was poor and lots of gates were locked. My 2 year old boy enjoyed the goats 🐐 and kangaroos 🦘I didn't end up spending much time here, had a quick look at the animals. The car park is far away from the entrance. I hope they make improvements in the future.

We visited this place only because it was part of the 7day village roadshow super pass, never heard of this place before. After having really great experience at other theme parks .We had worst experience at this place with some of the staff, especially the ones working near the tractor ride area, who treat people differently probably they are trying to show some racism. You have to wait like 20min to place an order in the farmhouse restaurant, staff just ignore you .You need to buy seperate tickets for some animal encounters & rides .Most of the animal places were empty. Not at all worth the time and money you pay for this place. We left the place in a hour.Recommend visiting any other theme park second time rather than wasting time here.

It's so empty. Nothing to do really. Every attraction costs additional money on top of the entry ticket. The park looks dead, barely any guests. Went to see their signature stockman show. A total of 7 people watched the show. So sad. On a 1 year annual pass, I'm not even sure I could recommend your time visiting.

We only discovered this by accident and we were pleasantly surprised. We needed a place to spend some time while our sons played at Top Golf. Both being animals lovers we were able to get our fix. The layout of the park is expansive, and it looks like there's plenty to do for those with little kids. The staff were wonderful, the cafe was great, and we got to see a newly born lamb in the animal nursery which was special. We'll likely visit again to take part in the animal encounters on offer.

We have yearly theme park passes and decided to check it out! It is a rather longish walk from the car park to the entrance so keep that in mind! It’s a lovely little park with plenty of Australian animals, plus the meerkats and little monkeys are very cute! I think for children under 10 it’s a great place for a couple of hours! We got a milkshake and ice cream from the cafe and the restaurant area looks like a nice place for a meal which we will try next time! If we didn’t have yearly passes and paid the normal entrance fee would be a little disappointing for the value for money but with passes I think we will visit a few times a year.

Absolutely wonderful place. So much to see and do, animals to pat, feed and look at! Great playground for children to play on, while mums and dad enjoy a coffee- winning for all! Great show that children are engaged with. Our favourite; horde riding! So so much to see here. We get annual passes, this is how often we go! 3yrs the children are The food is amazing, great eating area with monkeys for children to watch as you eat.

Paradise Country is so cute! Used to work here ages ago back when it was only open for tour groups so I’m glad they have opened it up to the public. It’s tiny but it’s great to take your little ones just so they can get a feel of the farm animals my son loves the kangaroos and always laughs at the cheeky goats 😂

After looking at the website I was excited for our family visit however the reality was extremely disappointing. It felt like a poorly executed attempt of an Australian farm experience. The farm shows were disappointing both in content and the presenters. I expected multiple horses for a stock horse show but reality was a comparison of one horse and a quad bike. The animal nursery had barely any babies and the only interaction is if you are prepared to pay for a photo. You can pat some sheep and goats however it's nothing magical. The entire park is quite hilly and small. The tractor ride was fun but takes 1min and the pigs playground is also a small playground. There are several experiences that are an additional cost which given the entry price just seems like captive market gouging. If you go on a wet day as we did be prepared that there is extremely limited shelter and if it's lunchtime and you attempt to shelter in the restaurant if you are not purchasing food you will promptly be kicked out. For the price I wouldn't recommend it as there isn't that much to occupy the time.

One of the most underrated parks ever! It's a part of the Movie World franchise and is the best place to go to see some Australian wildlife! You can cuddle and take a photo with a koala, as well as having photos with dingos or emus! You can feed the kangaroos, and the goats are so cute and friendly! Oh and the meerkats are just adorable, a definite must see if you're on the Gold Coast!

Great fun for the kids. Would recommend getting there on opening time as you can do all the shows one after the other then wonder around to pat the animals. Take a hat and plenty of water, not much shade and it can get very hot quick.

First of all, access to the establishment was not terribly well sign posted. Secondly, I felt that the shows had potential, but fell short of awesome and narrowly missed being underwhelming. I was also unimpressed when I was told by a staff member in the restaurant that I could not go to the servery to get my order, even though my "buzzer", indicated otherwise. Apparently, international customers were more important than I. If you are happy with a tiny glimpse of life on the land, and views of Shaun the sheep and Bitzer, by all means have a day trip. I can not comment on a longer term visit.

Been a few times over the years with kids. This time was definitely not worth the $$ you pay. Shows have either changed or weren't on and a lot of empty enclosures compared to previous experiences. Prices need to reflect the experiences and they need to improve or lose customers. Amenities and food were good.

There are some fantastic parks in the area. Sadly this is not one of them. I've visited Australia a few times and this was my first time taking a 7 day pass which included Paradise Country. What a huge let down. Other than a handful of animals, some pens had nothing in them. Other areas closed and some attractions not even running. I felt the only thing that seemed operational was the restaurant, which after spending 2hrs was the last thing I wanted to do. We have family that live locally that spoke highly of this place and said that the rodeo was great but there was not 1 horse or anything. Quiet season maybe, but how can you insist on taking people's money and offering a sub par service. Was terrible. Will not be recommending.

Amazing experience - it’s like heaven! So many free roaming goats, they’re so friendly and love a pat. There’s also free roaming kangaroos, who are just as sweet. Only about 2-3 hours worth of activities/ animals though, so don’t plan to spend your entire day here.

Bought the Village annual pass so decided to check out this venue. Feels like a small and quaint rural property that you can farm stay at. Would be a good place to take kids. Not sure if we would recommend buying tickets on its own but as a part of the annual pass it's worth a visit. Seeing the animals is always nice, we saw emus, koalas, dingos, kangaroos, a tasmanian devil, wallabies, chickens, donkeys, ponies, meerkats and marmosets.

A place without purpose. A perfect scam. Highly DON'T recommend it. Seems like visitors are conned into funding someone's love for a country lifestyle. You will see more animals driving the backroads of this great country. A truly waste of time and money.

We visited here as part of the 7 day seaworld ticket. I'm glad we didn't pay additional to come. Enjoyed the koalas and the educational speech from the zoo keeper. But besides this there's not much too see, goat's and guinea pigs etc standard farm animals. We took 90 minutes and kids were bored, there seemed to be empty enclosures, and nothing much happening. Tractor ride was set times- seemed plenty of staff so why wasn't this running more frequently. And the panning for gold also closed. No sheep shearing show either, there was Shaun the sheep show- don't bother my three kids were not entertained at all. However great location, Wet and Wild right next door!

Great day out for the kids. Got to hold a koala, hand feed some birds, and see some native animals. Food was inexpensive for a theme park. Also paradise country is included in the pass for movie world, sea world and wet and wild.

Tickets were Very pricey for what you see. Lots of koalas as not many other animals to see. Food expensive Train ride 2 minutes so tells you how big it is. Not much compared to Canberra zoo for a example.

UPDATE: called village roadside today to try and get a refund as per the instructions from the staff at Paradise Country. The supervision Branden was beyond rude and hung up on me after refusing to issue the refund and basically said that we have no proof that we were entitled to a refund. I will not be purchasing any more annual passes and never return to this park. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced and refusing to take any responsibility for proving us with false information. Go give your money to someone who actually values it We were a group of 6 with 2 of our friends having annual village road show passes but we were told that it didn’t include entry to paradise country so we bought 2 extra tickets for a $100 only to find out at the entrance that our passes do include a free entry and we were $100 out of pocket for no reason. The park was a total disappointment, the sheep shearing was gone, the cafe closed. We tried to book a table for lunch at the restaurant online but it was apparently all booked again not the case it was nearly empty when we got there but we had already eaten by then because we thought we couldn’t have lunch. The park itself was really sad and neglected, we saw one dingo and one emu. The tractor ride lasted 2 min and really wasn’t worth jumping on. They have stopped the sheep shearing and the kangaroo feeding so we didn’t get to interact with any animals at all it felt like we paid $50 each to walk around an empty park. The biggest disappointment was deciding to treat the kids to a Koala photo (kids are 11,9 and 8) we paid $75 and queued up for 20 min only to be told that the koala was too heavy for the kids to hold and they had to take a photo just standing next to the handler. The kids were so disappointed and we felt deceived by the woman who sold us the tickets as she made no mention of it when he specifically asked if the kids could all get a photo. We went to Currumbin Wildlife a few days ago which is significantly better, more value for money and a lot more interactive with the animals. I wouldn’t go back to paradise country but judging by their responses to negative reviews it doesn’t look like they care

I can see the benefit in going if you have an annual roadshow pass, but not as a day trip as it was very expensive and not terribly impressive. Very strange location behind movie world and the distance from parking lot to the entrance was considerable, suggest taking a pram or cart for the little kids as the walk was a bit much for them. Food was okay, very busy eating area and the menu was clearly designed with a particular nationality in mind. My 11 year old is quite the hot dog connoisseur and he was not a fan of the hotdog on the kids meal, for what it's worth. Food was expensive but reasonable portion sizes. Kids liked the Shaun the Sheep statues but the rest of the animals were all asleep. Meerkats were cool to watch and the kids enjoyed the nearby playground. We pretty much saw everything within an hour or so and left wondering why we'd paid as much as we did. I guess if you're on the Gold Coast and want a farm like experience without actually going to a farm, and don't mind being fleeced (haha), then this place makes sense - but get the annual passes so you can go to one of the other real theme parks to get your money's worth.

It is great here with animals and some things to do. Come here if you have an annual theme park pass. The most surprising thing about this place is how much better the food is than the other theme parks in the same organization (Wet n Wild and Movie World). Well done Paradise Country. To score higher. There needs to be more to do and see at this park IMO.

Great outing for entire family. Farmyard setting where you get to kangaroos and koalas up close. There are various activities and education talks throughout the day. So please check with staff or download the app. There is a buffet restaurant as well as a food counter. They also serve liquor. Wheelchair friendly. You can also buy memorabilia to purchase. Take comfy sneakers and sunblock.

A fantastic place for adults and young children to be able to interact with some Ozzie animals. Long walk from car parking especially for anyone pushing a pram or wheelchair. Very good eating area with variety of usual snack foods. A very enjoyable low key day out

Alex and I decided we would go and check out Paradise Country, as we have this included in our Village Roadshow annual pass, and it's just around the corner from us. We were so impressed by how clean and tidy and organised, and also welcoming the experience was. Village Roadshow never fails to impress it seems, as on entering the venue, the welcoming ambience and gift shop make you want more! There are signs to all the different experiences within the park, clearly signposted as you exit the gift shop, entrance area, and staff were very helpful with any questions. As we arrived a little late in the day, we thought we didn't expect there to be any shows on, but there were! We got to hear from a lovely lass, about koalas, and even stroke one, then also see up close, a mom and her baby snuggled into her. Very impressed with how important the staff made us feel. They went out of their way to acknowledge their guests, and see that we enjoyed our experience. We also enjoyed being around the joey's, and walking about the rest of the park, felt very countrified and relaxed. At the end of our time we enjoyed a cool drink on the lawns and took out out books, to soak up a bit of country atmosphere, and forget that we had work the next day. It was a great experience just to have all this nearby, and to feel as if you're out of the hustle and bustle for awhile.

Unfortunately doesn't live up to expectations. Cannot feed animals as pictures show. Attractions closed. Staff however we're very very lovely and the shows were entertaining but should not be advertised as a "petting zoo" Has potential.

Not a Bad place. But $200 for one adult and a 9 year old for a couple of hours! BLOODY EXPENSIVE!!!!! Nearly had to sell a kidney. Recommend going to a bigger theme park.

Paradise Country is a very relaxing environment compared to the other theme parks. Great new enclosures have the Marmosets and Merrkats. Very interactive experiences with kangaroos, farm themed shows and farm yard animals. Great for the younger kids. You can get it all done in 2-3 hours so it's not such a long day like the other theme parks.

I can't give stars because it was pretty expensive for what you get. It was a really slow paced day. We had plenty of time to get to the shows and a very long time for lunch. We found ourselves a little lost with what to do but our little ones enjoyed the Shaun the sheep meet and greet & the sheep shearing show. The staff were mostly friendly. We were ignored by two ladies having a chat at the gift shop so we ended up walking out after 2 minutes of waiting at the desk. I would be interested in the farmstay experience in the future but I don't think we'll visit again. It didn't feel like a conservation park and it certainly didn't feel like a theme park. A nice relaxing atmosphere overall, you can't get lost as it's a small ring & nicely spaced out show.

Couldn’t recommend Paradise Country Farm Stay more- not only was it a lovely quiet and enjoyable campsite with evening and morning activities (and morning coffee available) but it also had an unbelievable deal when we booked. Stay and Play deal is a fab price, allowing two days park access for one nights accommodation. We went as two adults with no children and really enjoyed it! Beats any other local campsite by far!

Lots of great animals to interact with and see. However, I saw everything the park had to offer in under 2 hours. Really enjoyed my time here but I only recommend going if you have a pass and can enter for free. The $100+ entry fee + extra money for every animal interaction seems steep for a few hours of fun.

We went to Queensland with the kids and purchased the 7 day theme park tickets. I’m glad we didn’t pay separately for paradise country, it would have been over $200 for our family and it definitely wouldn’t have been worth the price tag. Not very many animals there and limited activities- we did horse riding but of course that involved an extra cost. Was about a 15 minute walk from the car park to the entry too. Hard on little legs. Staff were friendly but even the little carriage ride around the place was done within 2 minutes, they went that fast I’m surprised we didn’t run anyone down. Food and souvenirs were pricey as expected from these places. We watched the Shaun the sheep show and 2 staff sat in the aisle section right next to us and spoke soooo loudly about their personal lives we couldn’t really hear the show anyways. Personally I wouldn’t visit again, and probably could have done without going there for our trip.

Had a great day with our 8 and 4yo, both loved it! Spent an easy 3hrs, and could have easily have spent another hour or two. Staff were friendly and humorous, lots of interactive options, beautiful grounds, healthy and happy animals. Only feedback would be some more shaded areas (especially near animal enclosures like the meercats) and greater air flow in the dining hall.

We came here in 2019 for the Koala breakfast and it was awesome… they used to take you into the koala and kangaroos area to get up close to them. We came back today and it was awful, such a rip off… the place has seriously gone downhill. The breakfast was good, but afterwards there’s literally nothing to do so you wander aimlessly waiting until things open at 10am, still hardly anything to do. The koala photos were also not as good, really rushed and they no longer give priority to people who went to the koala breakfast….disappointing. We won’t be back again

Took my kids there for school holidays, friendly staff 😀, playground. Took photo shots of Shaun the sheep 🐑. It has a restaurant and a cafe. We went for a ride around the park. Had shows on for entertainment. A variety of animals to look at and patt. Good family day out

As we bought a Village Roadshow pass this was included. We had a good time, but it felt a bit empty / unfinished. The shows were mainly for young kids (under 6), we didnt enjoy them. Probably the highlights were the koalas and kangoroos. Staff was friendly. Not sure by the way why people are complaining about the walk to the car park, it's only 5-10 minutes. The location is beautiful and it has a lot of potential. Wouldn't recommend paying full price though, there are better options in that case.

A tiny place, suitable for kids aged 2-8. The elder kids might found bored here 😛 A lovely place with Aussie unique animals like Koalas and kangaroos. U can touch kangaroos in the wild area. They are gentle and relax! Kids will love them. We spent around 2 hrs here. A nice walk😊

A fantastic place for adults and kids to be able to interact with some Austrian animals. Long walk from car parking and dusty car park with no road marking . Very good eating area with variety of usual snack foods. it was a nice experience

My partner and I came here for the meerkat experience (which was amazing!). Dylan and Carly were lovely and we were so thankful for the experience! Other than the meerkat experience though, this place was honestly quite boring. We got there early to make sure we weren't late, and we couldn't even kill 2 hours... We spent a good 30mins just sitting around waiting for our experience to come 'round. There's a few farm animals and some native Australian animals to look at. If you're with younger kids you could possibly take it slowly and take a few hours? But definitely don't recommend paying for a pass just to come here. It would possibly be a good half-day activity if you've bought one of the 4-park passes and are staying nearby though.

  • 1/5 Nata C. 1 year ago on Google
$44 for a single day pass and they didn't inform that is basically kids 1 to 5 years old park. The theme park app mentions wombat show at 11 am.. It wasn't a show or even the wombat itself. That single entry could not be used for the next park.

Quite disappointed with the staffs’ don’t care attitude… especially the dark haired lady in glasses who took my wife’s lunch order. Her description of the drink sizes (in ounces? Seriously??…) were horrible n was clearly impatient. So far our visit to Australia, everyone in the service industry has been great and friendly. This is the first unpleasant encounter… 🤷🏼‍♂️

Walked all the way from the bus stop to only be there for maybe an hour. Wouldn’t have gone if it wasn’t a part of our pass as it’s expensive and definitely not worth the money! Couldn’t get a photo with Koala because they sold all sessions to tour groups which I find annoying that there was no opportunity for general admission to pay for the extra opportunity. Definitely need to work on not just providing to the tour groups as it’s off putting. I’m from NZ and would not recommend this place to anyone when I get asked where to go in the Gold Coast

  • 4/5 Prudence M. 4 months ago on Google
It’s a cool park showing some Australian animals. Some strange inclusions though, nothing to do with australia (like meerkats and monkeys) It’s also missing some of the charm of the original paradise country. Would be nice to see sheep shearing and cow milking like back in the old days. Also, be warned, there is no cheap food and drink options. $8 for a sausage roll is the cheapest option. The buffet is well priced and delicious though ($16 for kids and $24 for adults).

I wanted to send my sincere gratitude for the staff of Paradise Country, particularly Montana in the farmyard. My daughter practically set up camp there to spend time with the animals. Montana took the time to engage with my kids, helped to educate them and include them. She gave them far more of an experience than she was required. Montana is passionate, knowledgeable and kind. Great work Montana and thank you ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It's got good wild life exhibits. I think it's best suited for the smaller children who can't take the big rides of Movie World or Dream World. Got to suggest the buffet lunch though. Delicious. Loooong walk from the car park though.

Beautiful Sunday afternoon in the sunshine with some live music. The shows are a lot shorter than they used to be and the shearing show was very different to what we saw in the past. Great for younger kids but was a bit of a shame for the older kids who got bored. The Lorikeets were beautiful. All in all a lovely day out.

Cool to just walk around. Really good for kids aged 3-8 in my opinion. I didn't spend much time here, had a quick look at the animals. They have pony rides for kids, a petting zoo and a few other attractions.

Loved this place. This spot was not on our go to list but we ended up visiting the farm somehow and believe Me, it was one of a kind experience. There are numerous farms but this one was quite interactive and amusing as it is based on the theme of a very famous kids cartoon show "Shaun the sheep". There are play areas, massive Cafe, tractor ride, pony rides, opal mining, water play, numerous animals including various types of kangaroos, emu, alpacas, Tasmanian devil, numerous koalas🐨 , dingos, horses, and a lot of animals including typical farm animals. There are shows which include horse shows 🐎 , dog show etc. The staff are well trained and nice. The farm is spread on vast areas so be sure to put on your comfortable clothing and shoes. There is so much to do there. There are so many statues of the cartoon characters that kids enjoy the most. Don't forget your water bottles you'll need heaps if it's hot.

Rhiannon was incredible with our marmoset encounter she told us so much interesting facts and we had a solid 20 minutes with the marmosets just me and my friend. She made sure our experience was super memorable and even let us take video footage too. She was the best ! Luke was a great photographer and also very helpful and even let us look at our photos to see if we wanted to change any to a different one. All the staff were very kind and helpful and understanding. Was a beautiful day and worth every cent. ❤️

If you have kids and you want bang for your buck, This is the place to go. We camped on site and had access to their zoo which was super interactive, we had tours included and could pat the animals. Buffet breakfast in the morning was awesome too.

Absolutely fantastic! My 1.5yo absolutely loved it today, we have local passes so will be back many times. Great animal interaction & they are close to viewing spots, they also truly look happy

Interesting for those that haven't witnessed whip cracking, sheep herding, Billy Tea and Damper making. I think it's suited more for kids with a definate Shaun the Sheep theme. Great restaurant and you can sit and dine whilst watching the Marmosets in the enclosure next to the restaurant.

What a wonderful Mother's Day experience I had 2023. Visiting my Son, Daughter in law and Grandson on holiday from UK. I had a very special Mother's Day here at Paradise Country.... Starting the day with Breakfast which was excellent, with so much to eat and enjoying the country feel kitchen/dining it was wonderful. I was then with the family able to view Paradise Country enjoying our visit to all the area's that are offered here. Lots of animals to see, some to touch some to just experience being next to and some from a distance It was amazing and with my little Grandson I enjoyed everything he saw with excitement and awe. Even Shaun the Sheep and the entertainment offered. Also the Train was a joy to sit in a compartment and wave to everyone as we went along the road. I travelled around on my mobility scooter with no difficulty and the disabled parking was helpful in site. At some places I parked at the Pram/buggy area's so I could take a little stroll to see certain attractions with no hassle. Plenty of toilet facilities were available and considering the number of people were kept spotlessly clean. What a wonderful Day I spent. I would recommend this FAMILY day you will not get anything better.

I had a wonderful time at Paradise Country with my family. It was an authentic Aussie farm experience that we all enjoyed. We got to see amazing Australian wildlife, such as koalas, kangaroos, meerkats. We also watched incredible shows and presentations. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend Paradise Country to anyone who wants to have a fun and memorable day on the farm.

There are no better words for this place than Paradise Country. A visit to this beautiful place for animal loving littles and their parents will not disappoint. The Shaun the sheep and friends show was a big hit, as were all the animals. The park and its restaurant were very fairly priced and the food was delicious too. This is not a theme park, so no rides, but you get up close with so many animals. I'd highly recommend a visit to Paradise Country.

Unfortunately isn’t really that great. The park/venue itself is very clean and tidy and look lovely, staff are very helpful and we’re polite. Animals looked well looked after. Just a bit boring and most other zoo’s offer a lot more. Maybe you guys can think of putting in some more attractions to help boost the place up.

Enjoyed a family fun day out at Paradise Country. The highlights were feeding the goats, the tractor ride, and the pony ride. The Farmhouse restaurant food was quick to come out and of higher quality than other theme parks. The place was pram-accesible and easy to get around. The kids loved the playground while the adults enjoyed a coffee within viewing distance. The only negatives are the signage to get to Paradise Country was a bit poor, there weren't many parents room/facilities and the walk from the car park to the entrance is a bit of a fair way, but all in all, we had a lot of fun!

The staff were all friendly and enthusiastic. Loved how you could pat a kangaroo. Shaun the Sheep show was disappointing and a little boring. Everything else was great but please improve the signage from the street sight to directions to go in the long drive. Did not stay in accommodation.

I have been here before in 2019. But today the lady at the bar cashier is a little bit easy to get impatient😔I guess that’s because of my accent. But overall the staffs at the entry and the shows are really enthusiastic and friendly.

My son had the best day here. His favourite TV show to watch with his grandad is Shawn the sheep. So he was so excited when we seen his show. Best park for young kids

Whether your kid enjoys watching koalas, kangaroos, sheep etc or they're curious about farming and mining activities rest assured they will have a blast! There is plenty of unutilised space though, if used efficiently can transform this place to a far more fun experience.

Interesting place, lots of amazing animals up close including some interaction opportunities. Very different to the nearby theme parks, feels much more laid back especially when the crowds have died down.

As it's part of a theme park group (Village Roadshow) it is a little expensive for what it is, but since we got the group's annual pass we have been twice and will likely go again before the year is over. Our son loves it and it's a great way to interact with Aussie native and farm animals!

Shaun the sheep characters were arguably the best selling point of this place. The animals were scarce, and not so interactive with guests. There are better sanctuaries elsewhere if you want to feed kangaroos, emus etc. We enjoyed our time here, but it's not the best sanctuary.

Spent the day with our Grandchild. Good atmosphere and great for kids, interaction with farmyard animals. Not to big so the kids won’t get to tied quickly. Fun for adults too 😀

We had a day out at Paradise Country and what really stood out for me was the customer service we received. All staff members that we came across were friendly and helpful especially Suzzie in the Burrow Cafe. Having cheerful staff members certainly makes the day brighter and more enjoyable

Enjoyed paradise country with the little ones. Smaller than anticipated but still managed to spend 4 quality hours there. Very relaxed feel. Lunch food was average but the live country music singer added a specialness to the day!

Paradise Country is an immersive escape where natural beauty and tranquility intertwine. I recommend planning alternative ways to spend your day. This activity only takes us about 3 hours and allows for a couple of walks and picture taking around the property. We also didn't bother to see the animal show (if there is any). Still worth a visit if you have annual passes.

We just went for the day. It was relaxing. Not sure I would have spent that much money on a day pass but when you use a yearly pass it's worth it. If you like goats and cheesy shows and peace and quiet. The kids, all 6, 6 years and under, enjoyed it. No complaining and not too much plastic stuff shoved at their eye level. I think the tractor ride should go at least twice as long and have at least twice as many carriages. All in all, a pleasant day.

What a nice farm to explore! There were marmosets, meerkats, guinea pigs, dingoes, koalas, kangaroos, Tassie devil, wombat, cows, goats, ducks, 🐑 . Basically all sorts of farm animals. My 18 mo son totally loved it. Very clean and a big restaurant there too but we didn't eat there so not sure if it's good.

Great, fun experience - surprisingly entertaining. Very well worth a visit if you have a Village Roadshow Annual Pass. Not so sure about getting a single ticket as it can get pretty expensive, especially for a whole family. Other than that - great location. Only a short drive from Movie World but feels like you drove deep into the country. Animals are well looked after and staff are nice. Great opportunity to take close-up shots of local wildlife and a potential pat here and there. Highly recommend visiting the Farmhouse restaurant - kid's size chicken and chips were actually a decent serving and tasted great. Also pleasantly surprised with the quality and taste of the milkshakes from the Cafe next to the Shearing Shed.

Super disappointed, saw everything in under an hour and the animals looked miserable. Costs heaps of money to get in and you have to pay extra for activities. The show was so boring that the school of 5 year olds left before it was over, it was a long walk to get to the entrance then we had to wait 10 minutes for staff to let us in, the donkey smelled like faeces and was trapped on a tiny enclosure, they had one dingo one horse and one donkey. The best part was the sheep statues. Will not be returning

Our family of four really enjoys going to Paradise Country for dinner. They often have deals that allow kids to eat for free, which saves money. Whether the food on offer is the buffet or you're ordering off the menu, the quality (and speed in which it arrives!) is really good. There's a playground where the kids can play after they've eaten too.

We were refused photos with the koala as apparently sessions was done for the day and it was only 10:30am and we have not pre-purchased tickets. Paradise country opens at 10am. Perhaps we miss that print in their website. We have families visiting all the way from Canada who queued up for the photos. Frustrating. Not a good experience to remember.

Have come here every year since my 8yr old was a baby and it pains me to say it but the park is far from exciting anymore. Really terrible exhibits with half the amount of animals there once were. The only close encounter was the pony rides which were $5 and the playground. Pull your socks up Paradise Country!! Definitely choose Currumbin over this park.

  • 3/5 Halina 9 months ago on Google
Their hearts in the right place but activity's are for children it's a nice place to go for lunch and let the children run wild. only went because we bought a theme park yearly pass but I personally wouldn't pay $50 entry (for an adult). Also the walk from the carpark to the actual farm is quite a hike.

We had a lovely Father's Day breakfast at Paradise Country. The buffet breakfast has a great variety and was very fresh. The staff were very friendly, especially Justin who was very attentive and welcoming. The marmoset were a great attraction at breakfast and their enclosure is beautiful and clean. Highly recommend.
