Fantastic tree top course amongst the rainforest. It has varying degrees of difficulty from beginner through to advanced. You can choose which course as they are colour coded. Still you need to be reasonably fit and health to even think about doing this, and having a good time. That being said, for those who have some degree of physical fitness it is a fun challenge and being up in the rainforest is so beautiful. The course has many flying foxes ( zip lines ) and you are always attached to your safety harness using their very clever wire / harness / lock system. all in all highly recommended for the adventurous amongst us.

Had the most incredible experience on a day trip to the tree top challenge in Tamborine Mountain. A picturesque zip from tree to tree across the canopy made even better by the incredible instructors - Gabby and Tyler - who had us entertained and well secured (in no more than 21s) from the start. Highly recommend for some outdoor fun (and a good laugh).

A great challenge in the tree tops. Lots of obstacles to face and fun zip lines. Make sure you wear proper gym clothes, with grip sneakers and it gets quite hot in the tree tops so don’t wear your jumper as you’ll work up a sweat, there is lots Of climbing and obstacles that require body strength. A great time though and lots of laughs. Staff are really friendly and happy to help if you get stuck

I’ve taken a lot of video but not photo haha.. But this tree top challenge was sooo fun! If you like any adventure activities, you definitely need to try this! It’s in forest and you walk on the tree. They have zip-lines, some wood steps(funny some are hard, need more upper body power) They have a lot of options from beginner to advanced! Junior course as well. I’ll go back and try zip line course next time! Plz try this!! Highly recommend!

The Canyon Flyer was amazing. Starting with the buggy ride up to the start of the course and then all 7 zip lines were great. Great views, super high and really fast. Lawson and Tom were both fantastic and worked well together. 10/10 will recommend to anyone visiting. It is definitely worth making it a must visit place if you are in Gold Coast or Brisbane.

What a fantastic activity! The 4WD buggy ride up the mountain got us pumped for the adventure, the ziplines are long and high above the treetops and canyon, the forest views are amazing, the staff Sam and Nicky were professional but also funny, they kept the whole group entertained throughout the tour and 3 hours just flew by, we wished the tour lasted longer. My husband and I will definitely be back!

We loved our afternoon here, if you have kids that meet the height and weight requirements you simply have to give this place a visit. Some of the courses options as you travel along the challenge are harder than others so you can pick something to suit your fitness level. It seemed as tho the easier challenges involved more zip lining which is alot easier on the body than climbing ropes 😃 I wouldn't recommend going to the last session of the day like we did as we ran out of time to try all the curcuits, but to be completely honest the body can only take so much anyway lol

Kids absolutely loved it. The team we're super helpful and accommodated with the needs of our younger group. The younger ones we're pretty proud of their achievements in completing each course! The older kids also enjoyed being George of the jungle for two hours. Highly recommend!

It's really an exciting and challenging outdoor activity, suitable for all. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Several courses available to choose, from beginning to advanced. Quite difficult to finish the black course, but good to try. Not only beautiful view, fresh air, also a good exercise. You can spend couple of hours on top of the trees, climbing, sliding. Highly recommended.

You must visit here if you want to overcome your fear especially of heights. Loved everything about this place, well organized, high safety standards followed, superb kind & helpful guides, beautiful jungle with real tall trees. But the worst WORST part was the SWEATY STINKY GLOVES & HELMETS… not WASHED at all… the STENCH of the SWEAT Nearly made me PUKE & FAINT. Management/ OWNERS please do something about this or keep gloves for SALE .

Separate tracks for junior and adults, very courteous staff, great adventure. Not as challenging as other courses but still a lot of fun for everyone at any age.

Had an amazing afternoon with my husband and young teens. Great physical challenge, felt very safe and our guides were very supportive and good fun (Angas and Eddie). They even retrieved my Sunnies for me on the final zip line when I didn’t put them quite deep enough in my pocket :) Great experience, would highly recommend - was one of our highlights on our Gold Coast holiday - thanks crew!!

Awout esome place to visit for the family. Too much fun and adventure at the same time. Some obstacles challenged us, but most of them were fun, especially the ziplines. Just a heads up that it gets busy in the school holidays, so you may not finish all the tracks if you start in the afternoon. And always stay hydrated. It can tire you out. Also a big shout out to Callum who helped to calm my 12 yr old when she was stuck on one of the games and panicked/scared. It felt that he was properly trained on how to talk to tweens and what to say in these situations. I think he went above and beyond by bringing a water bottle for her, and then making her feeling safe. Thanks for making it a wonderful experience.

An unforgettable experience completing the Canyon Flyer tour. The guides (Eddie & Briggs) were extremely down to earth and made the day very enjoyable. This Zip-line experience definitely exceeded our expectations. Great fun for the whole family, seven zip-lines criss-crossing the canyon. A variety of different lengths, speeds, and intensity. Overall, a great tour, and we'd highly recommend this experience.

Such a fun day for my 14 year old and I. Luckily we are both pretty fit as it was physically challenging as well as mentally. I wouldn't say it's suitable for kids under 10 though as the gaps between planks can be wide, and they have to be able to manage their own pulley and cabariner.

Such an excellent experience! The instructors make the experience even more fun. The fun began straight away. Our drive in the 4wd buggy up the dirt track was so much fun. We had Jake and Ryan as our instructors. They were the perfect balance of encouragement, positive energy and dad jokes. Ryan was so funny! (I added that because I’m sure Ryan would love to hear a review about how funny he is). We swung and laughed our way across the jungle. The zip lining felt very safe and it wasn’t a daunting experience. The ledges and platforms at the start of each zip line were not dangling over the edge of cliffs, they all had the ground gradually falling away at the front so it wasn’t like you were jumping off a cliff every time you began a zip line. Every beginning and end platform were very secure and I did not feel unsafe at all through the whole experience. We were safely secured to the ropes every second so there was never a feeling of worry or danger. The platforms were a mixture of platforms secured to the ground or mid way up a LARGE tree (that was reinforced heavily to other trees and the ground). You could see through the grates of the ones secured to a tree, but it was so rigid that it did not creak or move at all. You can easily see that every aspect of the experience was designed and maintained with the utmost of care. The ropes, zip lines, platforms, harnesses, secured lines, all looked very well maintained, with no sign of damage or wear and tear. The experience did go for about 3 hours. Initially I wasn’t sure how 7 zip lines would take that long, but cheering on each participant in the group of 10, and very short 2-3 minute walks between each zip line did fill the time. It did not feel too slow or too rushed, it was the perfect amount of time to take in the experience and enjoy each different zip line. Some were zooming over the canopy with spectacular views down the valley and off in the distance, while others had views amount the trees and down to the creek below. I don’t particularly love heights, but I did not feel scared of heights at all. The instructors tailored their support to match the level of bravery of each participant. Pushing the dare devils to have fun, while also encouraging and supporting those that were nervous for the first zip line. We had a lady who was VERY nervous at the start of zip line 1, but once she took that first step off the platform for the first zip line, she enjoyed every minute. If you are unsure, be brave and DO IT!

This was an awesome experience. I didn’t think too much about it before. At first I thought I can’t do this, as it was confusing to me, to what we had to do with the ropes, the hooking and unhooking etc. you do a little demo before you start the course. In no time it was easy as, this for me was the mental experience, to think what is best for yourself on each obstacles with your body. This was so much fun and just loved the challenge. Next I love to do the black course.

A must when visiting Mt. Tamborine. Amazing adventure! Location is in Thunderbird Park. Would highly recommend to visit on a weekday if you can to avoid long queues and a lot of waiting for your turn. We had fun regardless. There's 2 options every course, a challenging or easier one. You have to go through all the courses before you reach the advanced courses. I believe there's 5 courses. I got nervous at first trying to figure out what to do but I picked it up pretty quickly as we went along. There's no team member on every post, they train you of all the basics at the start. If you get stuck, someone on the ground is ready to help though. It's a nice place because parents can watch their children progress the courses from below. You can finish courses or pause for lunch or toilet break. But would suggest for the park to have portable toilets at the end of courses because that was my dilemma. So we had to finish a course to return to the reception and out to access the toilet. There's team members at the start of each course. They were helpful and supportive. Would definitely go back!

An AMAZING adventure! We loved it all. So much fun. A chilled and relaxed atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff. Everyone was patient and positive. Our instructor Dylan made us laugh and feel at ease. We felt very safe throughout the course. Peaceful atmosphere. Would definitely do it again!

So fun! Do book ahead though if it is a weekend or holidays as they would be busier than usual. All you then have to do is sign a waiver and be sorted. It requires at least 3 hours of your time but it is so worth it! The staff are great, the challenges are fun. You also get to see some very nice trees. Well definitely come back again. Shout out to Hannah who was on today absolute legend! (From my mother)

We did the zip line challenge and it was special enough to be just our family of 5 in the time slot. Our instructors Gabby and Eddie were top tier with their enthusiasm and character, but also making sure that fun and safety was the top priority. Their demonstrations and instructions were engaging and memorable. The buggy ride up was most enjoyable for our teens and the 7 zip lines was a fantastic experience for our whole family. I would definitely do it all over again.

I'm now 64 years old, have zip-lined over the Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, down the Eye of the Jaguar in Cusco, Peru, and between the old forest trees of Juneau, Alaska. Now I've experienced the Canyon Flyer at Mount Tamborine on the Gold Coast, Australia, and let me tell you, it is world class - but better! Our guides, Nikki and Ryan, were lovely - young and vibrant and ethusiastic and professional. They made a huge effort to be friendly to everyone, and find something to talk you to about specifically, so that when they are putting you on the cable, they could chat to you as an individual. I asked Ryan about it, and he told me he just likes to make people smile; to make people happy. The zip-lines themselves are top-notch - exciting, different, safe - but the staff really made this an exceptional experience. Meantime, out 8 year old granddaughter did the junior adventure course with high ropes and zip-lines and she loved it. well worht it. The final word - the Canyon Flyer is worth every penny.

If you are looking for some challenge and adventure to take kids along and have day to spend do visit this place. Depending on kids height and age there are range of coloured lanes with varying difficulty levels. Wonderful and very helpful staff. Good facility with restaurant, lots of parking area, well maintained place. Other activities like mini golf, paddle boating , crystal mine , laser game can keep kids occupied whole day. Keep aside 3 hours for tree top challenge. Lovely place.

This place was so much fun!! Our family of 4 had a wonderful time going through the courses. Gabby and the rest of the team were so friendly and helpful!! Even though you’re completely safe, it’s still a bit scary jumping off the platforms for the zip lines, especially in the rain. Worth the money!

I am visiting from Melbourne and was looking for a fun and exciting challenge. 3 friends and I booked this high ropes activity and and confirm it was amazing. I highly suggest anyone looking for a great fitness challenge with a super view to give this a go. Lastly, the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful! Special shout-out to Malorie, for being a legend! Will visit again!

I love The Canyon Flyer Zipline Experience ! This time I took 2 lovely ladies with me, and even though they had not Ziplined before, they loved it too! A big Thank you, to our tour guides Tali and Jack, who were very good at explaining what to do in a fun, friendly way. The thrill of criss-crossing the canyon above the tree tops is a real confidence booster. You feel that: I Did This. I Can Do Anything! A bottle of water is kindly supplied and a pouch to zip it in, along with your phone for your photos.

What a great place for parents to work through a challenge with their children. Very professionally run. Great instructors. Extremely safe. Highly recommended. Easy to navigate and easy to move between the different colour runs. Put aside a minimum of 3 hrs to give most runs a go. 1 yr update. 2023 June. Still great staff and fantastic zip lining. I changed my dates and time 2 times due to weather without any issues. Just as professional and enjoyable as 1 year ago

I'm no good with heights or balance but I loved the experience of doing this challenge. The obstacles test your every mental and physical strength. I'm so glad I did it.

Fantastic place. Our 5 year old did the junior course and loved it - keeps asking when he can go back. The instructors on the junior course were great with the kids and were supportive as they found their confidence. Husband and 10 year old did the 'adult' circuits and had a blast. The layout of the courses were great and well maintained, instructors were knowledgeable and overall it was an outstanding experience. Will definitely be back.

  • 5/5 Andrew M. 2 years ago on Google
Great fun for all ages - the younger kids (7ish) enjoyed the junior tree tops challenge with 4 seperate tracks. The bigger boys enjoyed the more challenging tree Top and zip lines. Please note you need to be able to reach to 180cm at the bottom of your fingers to do all the courses - If you can reach 160cm you can do half.

Great!! Awesome activity to do on a beautiful autumn day. A bit of a physical challenge with beautiful scenery :) Update: we did the Zipline Tour as a return trip and it was the best day! Our tour guides made it even better

Dillan and Reece were our awesome guides. They showed us the ropes and we had the best time!! They were way funny and genuine people. They made made us feel really welcome and we’re very professional. I would 100% recommend any of my friends to go and I WILL be back. Incredible views, beautiful weather, perfect wind for top speeds and just a wonderful day. 6 stars if I could.

Was fun but not scary at all. Would be good for teenagers I think. Hopefully Australia comes up with something bigger & better in the future but was a great day & location. Car park is very uneven. Be careful in low cars.

This place should be on everyone's MUST DO list. Challenging and adventurous. Give it a go and get outside your comfort zone!

  • 4/5 Liezel 2 years ago on Google
The main attraction, the treetop challenge is fantastic! Such a good experience! The other activities such as putt putt are also great. Great restaurant and also cafe. Note though no BYO picnic. In our opinion that was not clearly stated anywhere on the emails or website. The food is good and the pizzas are delicious albeit very small-used to be normal size. We would recommend any of the pizzas but note they are around 20cm or less in diameter and go for $15+. There are nice shady grassy areas near the parking area. So bring your own chair or picnic blanket. Overall the atmosphere is great, facilities clean and a wonderful outdoors activity day for any family.
