Wonderful!
Today
we
went
for
a
leisurely
drive
up
to
Tambourine
Mountain.
Our
goal,
go
to
the
school
mountain
markets,
buy
mum
some
lavender
gifts,
buy
some
fresh
Avocado's,
a
custard
apple,
fresh
honey,
eat
dutch
pancakes
for
a
snack
and
have
a
browse
around.
We
were
so
Impressed!
We
lined
up
outside
the
entrance.
Scanned
our
id
pic,
given
face
masks,
sanitiser.
Few
people
in
at
a
time,
all
spaced
1.5m
apart.
Line
moved
quickly.
So
impressed.
Loveliest
markets.
Beautiful
stalls,
lovely
lavender
gifts,
gorgeous
smelling
soaps,
handmade
leather
goods,
oil
burners,
home
made
cakes,
plants,
herbs,
clothes,
trinkets,
English
toy
cars,
CDs
and
so
much
more.
We
didnt
find
any
honey
sadly,
we
asked
but
no
one
had
any.
Maybe
wrong
season,
no
custard
apples
either,
maybe
wrong
season,
no
fruit
n
vegies
at
all
not
even
one
avocado
for
sale.
These
were
only
things
lacking,
we
looked
but
had
lots
of
other
things
to
buy.
We
had
some
great
dutch
pancakes..quick
and
delicious,
yummiest.
We
left
after
an
hour
and
soon
saw
many
road
side
stalls
with
Avocados.
Pesticide
free,
cheap
and
lots
available.
So
we
bought
lots.
To
go
down
off
the
mountain
we
chose
to
go
back
via
the
back
gentle
road
via
Canungra.
(Henry
Roberts
way
down
scares
me
with
its
steepness
so
I
go
the
gentle
way
down
off
the
mountain).
Fabulous
day
out,
markets
were
the
best.
Well
organised,
lots
of
covid
safe
steps
taken
to
the
extreme
which
made
us
all
feel
safe
and
appreciated
the
organisers
efforts.
Next
time
you
take
a
drive
to
Tambourine
try
to
coincide
it
with
the
dates
of
these
markets!
You
will
have
a
wonderful
day
